So, This has been almost done for a month, not that it matters too much. I promise you will love this chapter, no matter how long its taken me to update! I'll attempt to be a lot faster at updating, you know, not wait half a year. Comments are love! P.S I didn't edit this one too well, my brain is mush.

"We're a young team, that makes us faster and more hungry for the win," My team captain Christopher LeFray said to the reporter. I just say act like a good little Chaser, nodding my head. I really didn't like press conferences, but I didn't really have a choice. Nick was sitting right next to me, taking a sip of his water. He was like me in more ways than one. We both hated all the personal questions and gossip, but with the Quidditch World Cup qualifiers coming up, we were told to suck it up.

"Captain LeFrey, how do you feel about the switch Seekers earlier this season? Don't you think it's cheating to move a player?" Another reporter asked.

I could feel Nick tense up next to me, but no one could see it on his face. All attention drew to Nick as LeFray spoke. "The trade was legal. Our old Seeker was injured a few games prior, and it was the best move for our team."

The press conference kept going on and on. Most of the time we just sat there and talked about the game, but having a six hour practice this morning followed by a three hour press conference made for a long day and night. Tomorrow we had off, and then it was we played our first game in the bracket for the World Cup. We were all on edge.

Most of the questions were answered by our Captain. He was doing a wonderful job, and so were we, as a team, having one of the best records in the world. But it came at a price, our lives. It's not that I've seen my family a lot. Daddy has been working such crazy hours; my mom has been covering the World Cup for four different countries. I'm even currently looking at her. She keeps making faces at Nick and me when no one else is watching.

"Ms. Potter, how do you feel about the current debate on the distance between the goal posts and where a Keeper should fly?" Those are the types of questions we're dealing with. At least it isn't about my social life. I've managed to keep that out of the papers for the past two months since Hugo's wedding and the kiss with Lorcan.

I answer the reporter quickly, and then take a drink of my water. I wish it was something stronger, the maybe I could stay awake long enough to hear the rest of the questions being asked. But honestly, I'd rather be running laps.

When it was finally over, I walked into Al's and my flat and fell on my bed. Not moving. I'm not sure anything could get me to move at this moment in time, but of course, I happen to be wrong.

"You ready?" Al came into my room, not bothering to knock.

I let out a noise into my pillow. Sleep. Sleep is good.

"Come on, you know this party has been planned for months," He told me going to my trunk at the foot of my bed.

I honestly have no clue what he is talking about. I know I'm not the most organized person in the world, but I normally remember these types of things. I look at him over the edge of my pillow as he pulls out my old Hogwarts uniform. I groan.

I still don't remember.

"Will Scorp be there?" Al asked, pulling out my tie. "Haven't seen him in a while."

I don't mention it's because we both have no lives at the moment. He was been working for days straight, and I've been training like a mad woman. Sometimes I wonder why I put myself through such torture, but then I get on my broom and all is forgiven.

I sit up on my bed and peel off my socks, replacing them with my favorite school socks.

Al is already dressed in his black pants, white shirt and red and gold tie.

I shoo him out so I can change. It doesn't take me long and we apperate to the Three Broomsticks. The party has already started.

Everyone is in their old uniforms and mingling and having a good time. Even Nick is there, he borrowed someone's old Hufflepuff uniforms. I agree with the choice.

Soon, I'm surrounded my family and friends. Shaina is there in her Ravenclaw uniform, chatting with my cousin Molly, who was also in Ravenclaw, just three years ahead.

It's funny how people always think that all of my family was in Gryffindor. It seems almost all of the students from James's year to mine are here; even a few people that I didn't get along with, but now, as we're older it doesn't seem to matter to us anymore. Funny how time changes a perspective. Quinn comes over to me in her Slytherin uniform and brings me into a hug. It's strange to see her without a baby on her hip.

She asks me if I'm excited. I assume she means about our game in two days. I tell her yes, as more people come to talk with us.

This is almost like Hogwarts, everyone talking and having fun, but this time all of us are old enough to drink Firewhiskey.

I'm swarmed by people, but there is only one person I want to see. Scorpius, and there is no site of him. I keep mingling through people, and dance with Hugo and Lysander for a few songs. My favorite band has been playing over the radio almost all night, but I need a fresh breath of air and walk down the street.

The air smells like the fresh rain that has been on and off all night. I'm sure it will start up again, but I just need a moment away from people. All I want is to just be alone. Or sleep.

"Hey," I hear a deep voice from behind me. I turn around and smile; I would know that voice from anywhere. His smile reaches his grey eyes, though he looks tired, just like me. He was in his black pants and white button up shirt, his tie perfect as he always wore it.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, the fresh mint smell of his shampoo invading my lungs. He picks me up and hugs so tightly, I'm afraid I'm going to be crushed. He kisses my hair and murmurs how much he has missed me since last week when we met up for a late night supper.

When he finally releases me, he still has his smile. "Nice uniform," he teases me, pulling at my tie. "Brings back some memories."

"All horrible ones, I'm guessing," I tell him, putting my hands on my waist at the skirt. "Hogwarts wasn't very good to us sometimes."

"Lily, Potter. This is where it all started. Here, at Hogwarts. He smiled. "Mostly bad moments, some horrible moments, but some of the best moments all here. This was the closest I could get us to actually being at Hogwarts. I love you."

"I love you too." I tell him as a bang from the pub.

"I don't want to be without you. You're my best friend, you make me adventurous, you make me smile even I don't want to. You've stuck by my side even when I asked you not to." He said pulling something out of his pockets. "You make me better every day. We belong together, something I think everyone figured out before we did. You're my everything. So, after years of torturing each other and years loving each other." He added, getting down on one knee. "Will you marry me?"

My heart is racing. I thought I knew what this would feel like. But I'm speechless. I think my mouth's open, but nothing is coming out. Scorpius's face went from excited, to fear in three seconds. I shake my head up and down. "Yes." I laugh, pulling on his hands, bringing him to me. "Of course!" I tell him, my lips finding his.

He picks me up again, kissing me, holding me. Being my everything.

I'm not sure how long we spent outside, holding onto each other, kissing, but when the rain started to come down so fast, we couldn't breathe, we rushed into the pub. My hair plastered to my vest, and my shoes full of water.

Everyone was staring at us as we walk through the door. I can see James and Al at the bar, standing on stools to see us. "Well?" James called out over the silence.

"She said yes," Scorpius declared, pulling me next to him. "Did you really doubt she would say yes?" He joked with my brother across the pub.

Everyone broke out into congratulations. I blink a few times, and stare at my fiancée. That's a weird word to say. Hugo came out from the crowd and pulls me into huge hug; Shaina right behind him, wrapping her arms around us.

When I look up, James is hugging Scorpius, whispering something in his ear I can't hear.

Everything around me is a blur. The party has slowly started to lessen. Everyone is stopping by to congratulate us. I'm getting dizzy with all the excitement in the room, but before I know it, Scorpius asks me if I'm ready to leave.

I nod, I'm still in a daze when he apperates us to my parent's house. We kiss once before we walk into the kitchen. My mom and Dad are sitting and talking with Draco and Astoria. They smile brightly at us and search for the ring on my left hand.

It's beautiful. There is no other way to describe this ring. The massive diamond in the middle is shaped like a heart. On the sides are have a series of eye shaped designs with round red rubies and small diamonds alternating. It's so beautiful, I don't know if I can look at it for too long.

"Did everyone know before me?" I ask, pulling out two cups for tea.

"Yes," My mom shrugged a bright smile on her face.

"I figured that our family should hear from us, not from the Prophet in the morning." Scorpius says, giving his dad a hug and taking the seat next to him.

I put the cup in front of him and sat down. I still can't stop smiling.

"Well, what now?" My mom asked us. I don't know what next. I've never done this before. They've done it twice…

"Well," Scorpius says, leaning back in my chair. "Lily has some Quidditch games still this season." He's smirking. I don't have to turn around to know it.

"What about in the off season? October or September?" My dad pipes in. He seems tired. Happy but tired.

"That's really fast," Draco tells us, taking a drink of his tea.

"Next year," Astoria clarifies.

"Or maybe in the preseason?" I suggest. This is all too surreal. We're talking about my marriage. I fell Scorpius take my hand, pulling me back into reality. Together we would get through this. I know we will.

When we finally finish talking with our parents, and got back to Scorpius's flat, it was almost midnight.

Scorpius sat on his couch, pulling me to his chest. I just want to sleep. I want to feel his breathing as I fall into a peaceful sleep. I think he is having the same thoughts as he kicks off his shoes with his feet. I follow him and curl up into a ball.

"We're engaged." I say. Maybe if I say it enough, if will hit me. I still doesn't seem real.

"You're going to be stuck with me forever," he tells me in a sleepy voice. I look at my ring, moving it against his chest. "It was your grandmothers." He yawns. "You're dad and I found it a few months ago when we went through the vaults. He'd been looking for it since he wanted to ask your mum to marry her. We finally found it when the Black Vault opened."

"Why was it in there? I thought my daddy had all the rights to the Black vaults?" I ask, staring at him. His eyes are closed.

"Your dad doesn't have Black blood." He states as if it was Frist Year Charms. "When I asked him to marry you, he asked that I go with him. Between Teddy and I, It finally opened. Our guess is that Sirius found the ring before the incident, or your grandparents put it in the vault for safe keeping."

"Why not just put it in the Potter vault?" I ask, putting my head back on his chest.

"They couldn't leave hiding and Sirius wouldn't have been able to get in. Your dad wanted you to have it."

I look at him and the ring one more time. Things are changing again, but this change, this change I think is the best one yet. I smile and snuggle into his chest. Our best days are ahead of us, we just need to survive them first.
