I don't own anything
Black. That's all he could see and remember pitch black. But then something else entered the endless void like a voice reaching out to him. WAKE UP!! A very loud voice yelled in Clint's head. His eyes snapped open staring at a ceiling right up what looked like an air vent. For a brief moment he could've sworn that he saw someone in there of what looked like….a girl looking right at him as if she had been watching him or something.
Clint quickly sat up to get a better view of his surroundings and noticed that he was in a room full of empty hospital beds and in a blue gown with one of his wrists handcuffed to the bed railing.
"What the hell?"
His thoughts drift back to that girl who was in the vent watching him he looks back up to see nothing she just disappeared as if she was never there.
Was she even real, Clint thought to himself.
Yes, she is as real as I am! The voice said loudly.
The loud and sudden voice startled him. His eyes immediately start scanning the room searching for the source of that voice but Clint sees no one but himself in the room.
"Hello! Is anyone there!" He calls out but only gets silence in return.
Clint convinces himself that he is hallucinating or just plainly gone crazy.
After taking a few moments to gather himself and after a few failed attempts to get the cuffs off of his wrist. He drags his entire bed to the surprise of his own strength, by the window and sees the sun out and a courtyard and some walking paths and a building of what looks like a church to him and a small graveyard next to it.
"Where the hell am I?" He says to himself.
He turns back to the doors on the other side of the room dragging the table behind. He stops for a moment to notice in the upper corner by the far end of the room there was a seemed to be a small security camera. Hope suddenly rose within him thinking that if someone was watching they could get him outta here.
"Hello! Hey is anyone watching!" He yelled. Signs of frustration clear on his face.
The same silent response gave him all the info he needed, he sighed in defeat before turning back to the doors. Clint tried to pull them open to no success noticing a security lock on them.
"You've gotta be fucking kidding me!"
He growls out of frustration as he keeps pulling but the doors won't budge. Clint suddenly feels his hand slam against the glass on the door causing a few small cracks.
"Hello! Will someone let me out of here!"
Suddenly the speakers in the room make a noise with a woman on the other end, "Relax Clint, I'm on my way to you."
He looks through the glass and sees a woman who looks Latino or possibly Hispanic in a white lab coat and light tan skin with dark hair back into a bun from what he can tell walking towards the door.
"Where am I, who are you, what am I doing here?" Clint demands.
The woman keeps a calm posture as she speaks softly, "I know your scared, but if I can come in I'll explain, is that okay."
That puts Clint at ease a bit before regaining his composure nodding to her and backing away from the door to let her in.
"Doors. Infirmary."
With a ping the lock open and she walks in shutting the doors behind her and the lock automatically locks again.
"Hi Clint!" She says calmly.
"My name is Dr. Reyes, if you take a seat for a moment I'll free your hand." He nods in reply sitting down on the bed.
She takes a few steps towards him before undoing the restraints on his right wrist. Clint rubs it for a second before turning his attention back to Dr. Reyes.
"Clint what I'm about to tell you will probably be the most difficult thing you've had to hear you've been in a terrible accident and you were the only survivor to be found in the aftermath!"
Two things suddenly go through Clint's mind shock and confusion, "What! I don't understand I don't even know how I got here I don't remember being in any accident!"
"Calm down Clint!" Dr. Reyes says putting her hand on his shoulder trying to comfort him, "Based on my analysis you seem to have amnesia but it is only temporary for now. But it will take some time before your memory is fully restored on its own, but can you tell me what's the last thing you remember."
Clint gazes off into space trying desperately to remember something to help him make any sense of how he wound up in this current situation.
His mind gazes back its nighttime outside its cold and he's out in the streets outside of the city limits where there are a bunch of buildings that look like nightlights from a distance. Next he sees several black SVU's in front of him and bunch of men with guns pointed at him firing off bullets. Bringing back feelings of pain so much pain unable to move on the ground staring up at the night sky.
"I don't remember much but it seems all jumbled up I don't know how- it doesn't make sense. I was out in the woods from what it looked like I was running from them they shot me I felt so much pain I couldn't move."
Dr. Reyes gave him a confused look, "Who, who were you running from, who shot you?"
Clint worked his mouth open and shut but couldn't get any words out. "I..I…I-I don't know but it's like they wanted something from me!"
"What?"
"Like I said before I don't know, they shot at me and next thing I remember is that I'm on the ground staring at the sky feeling to hurt to be able to even move a bit."
The image shifts back to Clint laying on the ground bleeding and in immense pain then he sees one of the men in black with a gun in his hand bending down looking at him with a smirk on his face.
"The leader was looking down at me and then….then-" his thoughts drift back to the image.
Suddenly the man's expression changes to fright as Clint feels a outside force suddenly taking control of his body. Before he knows what's happening he feels the pain fade away as if it was never there at all. All of a sudden he feels that outside force taking control of his body again as his arm shoots up and grabs the man standing over him by the throat choking him. Only to see his entire arm is covered in some sort of….black goo from what it looks like. Slowly he gets back to his feet but now he's towering over the man by several feet, while outside of the corner of his eye he notices the others are shaking with fear looking at him as if he was suddenly…inhuman. His attention is back on the one still in his iron grip hoisted off of his feet but what Clint does next seems revolting and impossible as he feels his mouth open and….bites the man's head clean off feeling a sudden adrenaline rush as he savors the feeling which feels very wrong. Blood is now pouring out as Clint drops the man's severed and lifeless body to the ground before turning his attention to the others who are now firing there guns again but this time Clint feels no pain whatsoever. Then he feels something shoot out of himself as three black tendrils coils themselves around each of the men's weapons ripping them from their grasp. They try to run by he leaps after them faster than he even realizes and one by one he tears off their limbs and eats parts of their bodies killing them and stares at their dead bodies. But then there's this sharp pain like a loud noise it hurts worse than the bullets so loud and then he feels a sharp pain in his neck he falls to the ground and then…nothing!
"I killed them!" He barely whispers more to himself than Dr. Reyes.
"What did you say?" She asks.
Clint looks up at her, she sees his face is filled with utter horror, "I killed them I slaughtered them all and I bit their heads off and tore them apart!" He says more loudly this time with panic laced in his voice.
Dr. Reyes looks at Clint confused before letting out a sigh, "Sometimes trauma makes us forget things but it can also make us remember things that aren't real or possible!"
"But it was real I remember it I remember enjoying it I-…it was real!" He says defeated unsure of what to believe anymore.
Dr. Reyes looks at him solemnly before taking his hand in hers. "Here I think this belongs to you." She reaches into her coat pocket handing him a silver necklace with a cross on it closing his hand around it.
Unbeknownst to him off in the corner of the room one of the cameras a red light beeps on while in another room full of monitor screens one shows him live when his vitals come online registering as normal.
