"Focusing just on the Death Scythe 'cos I'm a grim reaper...that's just the old way of thinking!"

Sebastian's eye twitched sightly as he wiped the blood off the side of his face with the back of his hand, "Children these days, truly do have bad attitudes."

Meanwhile, Ciel was elsewhere, safely away from the fight between Ronald Knox and his butler Sebastian.

Ciel had just reached the cargo bay when suddenly, he sees a shadow of a hand from the corner of his eye so he turns swiftly only to see Amethyst Forsythe looking at him with a raised eyebrow at his raised gun in her face.

"Jumpy aren't you?"

She crosses her arms, giving him a lopsided grin, "You were close to shooting your fiance you know?"

"Exactly!"

Lizzie pops up from behind Amethyst, pouting, "It's a good thing Amethyst insists in walking in front of me when we walk in these dark places! She seems to be able to see in the dark! Isn't that a peculiar useful thing?"

Ciel blinks, this was news to him.

"You never told me that."

"Like Lady Elizabeth says, it's a peculiar gift. Not exactly something to brag about Lord Phantomhive."

"I'm your employer, I don't like secrets Miss Hinamori."

Elizabeth gasps, visibly surprised that Ciel recognized her but if Amu knew, she didn't show it herself.

"My eye color is too recognizable a feature hmm?"

"No amount of makeup and splendid acting can fool me. Or this tacky wig for that matter ."

She smiles despite feeling slightly offended, she thought she did a good job of her improvised character. She slowly removes the wig and her pink hair gracefully falls on to her shoulders as she drops the wig onto the floor.

"There, much better."

Ciel turns, the clear smile that was on his face when he was talking to his maid disappearing in an instant when he turns to his fiancee, "Now, why are you here?"

This didn't go unnoticed by Lizzy but she puts it off as Ciel being his usual protective self, "I wanted to bring you your cake! I saw you sneak off and when I went to tell Edward about it first, Amy insisted to accompany me."

"Well now I need you both to leave. Go back to where Auntie and the others are. It isn't safe-"

He hears something behind him and turns, flashing his light. "WHOSE THERE?!"

"It's too bright!" cries out the voice. "...says Woodsworth."

"Snake? What are you doing here?" Amy comes toward him, standing next to Ciel as she leans toward Snake who seemed to be in one of his 'conversations' with his other snakes.

Snake visibly relaxes which he seems to always do when the pinkette is in proximity of him; Lizzy hears him say something about cakes and sharing with his 'friends'. She cringes but manages to take the moment to turn the attention to her again.

"Ciel please! I want you to eat your cake! It's your favourite kind with the big strawberries! It's the biggest piece-"

Lizzy frowns, seeing the plate empty, confused.

Did I drop it?

Ciel's eye widens when he sees an eerie figure appearing out of the shadows but before he could react, the walking half-dead creature is shot in the forehead and Lizzy screams.

Ciel grabs Lizzy's hand, pulling her to him as the creature drops to the floor, blood pooling out onto the tiles, Lizzy hugs him tightly, her body shaking from fright as Ciel turns to see where the shot came from and it was his maid with a steely look in her eyes, reminiscent almost of Mei Rin when she was in her assassin mode. She stood upright, no unnecessary movements as she relaxes her posture but still guarded as her arm fell back to her side, her handgun brushing gently at the fabric of her dress.

"Are you both alright?"

Ciel nods, rubbing Lizzy's back till she rose her head to his eye level, softly asking her if she was alright. She nods, feeling slightly timid of the gentle but caring look in Ciel's eye. She rarely saw this side of him and it made her heart flutter.

"That insignia on the man's brooch...there's more of that symbol over there Smile," Ciel turns, his eyes widening in horror. "...says Oscar."

It was then when the caskets started to shake. Everyone stares in pure terror as the same eerie creatures start clawing their way out of them and moving towards them.

"EVERYONE ON TOP OF THE CRATES!"

Amy's loud voice was enough to get Ciel into action, he steers Lizzy to climb upward, Snake getting on much quicker and helping her up himself. Ciel turns, more of those things were breaking out of their containment's. He gears his arm ready to take his gun but Snake had already grabbed hold of him, forcing him on top of the crate together with his fiancee.

"Wait! Where is Amy?"

They look about, realizing the pinkette was nowhere in sight.

"AMY! ANSWER ME!"

BOOM!

Lizzy screams as some of the caskets suddenly explode, flaming with strangled screams crying out within. Another boom erupts and more caskets flame.
Snake turns and he sees the pinkette on a separate crate, throwing small bottles of liquid towards the direction of the caskets. She shoots her gun at each of them expertly and it causes another explosion every time. She repeats the same action several times but her smart thinking wasn't enough. Some of those creatures that had already escaped before her thoughtful rapid fires were advancing toward the crates Ciel, Lizzy and Snake were standing on.

Snake unleashes his snakes toward some of the corpses, restricting them but realizing quickly that the snake's venom were ineffective. He crouches down, examining them as Lizzy trembles in fear with Ciel trying to reassure her that they will escape safely.

Amy screams suddenly causing Snake to turn in attention, the creatures were now gnawing at the crate's base with their teeth and nails causing Amy's support to fail.

"AMY! COME HERE!"

The pinkette turns to see Ciel stretching out his hand, she tries to keep balance but she falls to her knees causing Lizzy to whimper, afraid for her friend but
Amy quickly stands and Lizzy stares horrified as the pinkette starts to rip her dress to her knee.

"NOOO! AMY YOUR DRESS! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT?!"

Lizzy's eyes widen as the pinkette doubles back before leaping forward and Ciel moves to grab her hand but his fingers couldn't reach so Snake extends his and the pinkette grabs it. Snake pulls her close, her arms around him as one of his colourful snakes climb on to her shoulders, circling around her neck protectively almost like a choker.

Snake holds her to him tightly, she was breathing heavily, adrenaline pumping steadily in her veins but their embrace was short lived as the creatures start to turn their attention to their crate, gnawing at their support instead.

Lizzy lets out a cry and hugs Ciel, the earl holds on to her tightly, "Come whatever may, I will protect you Lizzy!"

"How admirable of you Young Master."

Edward was worried, he was fending off the weird creatures with his weapon but his mind was clouded, his worry over Amy and his sister unsettled him and it showed. He reacted slower to his attackers, fending them off clumsily and this did not go unnoticed by his mother. She ordered him to concentrate and he tried but he could not focus.

Amu was lost in her thoughts as she descended the crate, she ignored Sebastian's outstretched hands and instead softly requested for Snake to help who obliged without fuss. The head butler raised an eyebrow at her torn skirt but said nothing upon seeing the garter belt on her exposed thigh that carried a knife holster.

Looks like Tanaka trained her well, she seemed composed despite the grim horror the ship and its passengers were about to face. He noted her obvious distance from him wondering if it was because of how he handled things.
It wasn't an easy sight after all.

"Sebastian take Amy to safety."

"No way in hell."

Ciel turns sharply, "Excuse me? I am your employer! You do what I say!"

"I am not leaving you defenseless you hear me?!"

Elizabeth was surprised, Amy seemed to have many layers; as a maid she was obedient and shy maybe even docile but as her pretend character Amethyst, she was graceful and confident but now seeing her so aggressive Elizabeth started to wonder what was her true personality.

"Snake will accompany me if you're so worried but I need you to be away from all this!"

"Then what the hell is the point of me training?!"

"So you can protect yourself!"

"No! The point was supposed to be in your service! To protect you!"

"I decide what is the damn point!"
Sebastian blinked, realizing something was off with the two. Ciel's studs were different and the pin keeping Amy's hair up was now a cross.

He coughed getting their attention, "Amy, your master's orders are absolute. There is no such thing as arguing. Now come with me."

He takes his hand, dragging her away from the group, "Sebastian! Let me go!"

"I will be back momentarily milord." He picks her up, bridal style and breaks off into sprint leaving Ciel, Elizabeth and Snake on their own.
