Welcome to a reboot of Code Wars, it was one of my most liked projects, at least i enjoyed it and it is still up on , but then i lost my spark for writing, i looked back at my old work, and i saw garbage, i have gotten better since then, but looking at what i had written, i felt... i do not know, just like i could have done a lot better
So i am officially rebooting code wars with this... in a sense at least, it's a similar premise, with a lot of changes and what i hope are improvements. I cant promise perfection, i wont try to, but i will promise to do my best. With that, let us begin!

Lelouch was cold, wet, hungry, and thirsty... it was dark... and he was honestly scared...
Britannia had invaded, with him and Nunnally still there, the first missiles destroyed the residence he was staying at they barely made it out alive with Suzaku, though the son of the prime minister was separated from the royal duo... everything in the distance was on fire, Lelouch and Nunnally had to listen to the roar of gunfire and missile strikes, the thunderous screech of jet engines from fighter, bomber and gunship aircraft blitzing overhead as Japan was invaded by their own country, left to die, Britannia would paint the 2 exiles as martyrs, and justification for the war besides pilfering Japan of it's sakuradite, the highly energized purple rock was the cause for half the world's problems...
They where at sea, Lelouch was young yes, but smarter than anyone would expect. There was a reason the second prince was always trying to get Lelouch to accompany him when he was still in Pendragon, no doubt the prime minister wanted the raven haired prince as an ally rather than a threat if at all possible. Because of this, he had managed to slip by Britannian marines while carrying Nunnally, walking her onto a small boat and taking it for himself, the whole of Japan was a war zone, and the two of them would have been easy to spot... and either kill or imprison. He was tempted to try seeking shelter with the Ashfords but he would have to walk through hell on earth to get there, he simply could not risk it.
And so, the prince and princess of Britannia, young, damaged mentally, emotionally, and physically, drifted on, the waves made the boat rock around as they got further from the shore of what would soon be Area-11, a shadow of what was once, a place they both called home...
Still, he lamented he could not find any food or water to bring with them, but that would have to be a concern for tomorrow. He cuddled up next to his beloved sister, holding her tight in a hug, her small, frail form curled up into him as she slept, and he closed his eyes, the sun was setting now, and the explosions where starting to grow feint as the boat let the currents take them away from the war for Japan
It was hours of restless sleep as the 2 of them hugged each-other, the two siblings having only the clothes on their backs and their bond as siblings holding them together
That was until fate had shown it's hand, their boat had gently drifted in the waves towards a certain island... Kamine island, the seemingly useless little pile of sand, rocks and trees in the middle of nowhere, far off from the fighting, it hit the shore of the sandy beach head and stayed there for a few moments, the impact, gentle as it was, forced the still scared siblings awake, Lelouch immediately shot up, hanging protectively over Nunnally, refusing to allow her to be hurt by anything until they got through him first, frail as he was, he didn't care, he would fight and die to protect her, she was everything he had left!
He felt his tattered shirt being tugged from below, and he looked down at his sister, her eyes where closed but he could feel her worry
"Nii-Sama, is everything ok?" She asked
Lelouch smiled a little, his innocent little sister was still cute as a button, and even though the experience was hellish, her being here was enough to calm him down, he looked up, peering over the edge of the small boat and looked around, seeing where they had landed before letting out a sigh and nodding to himself
"For once, yes, I think we ended up beaching our boat on an island, I don't see any people, there's no fire or smoke..." 'Or blood and death' He thought to himself
Nunally nodded, but then her stomach growled, and she blushed in embarrassment, the invasion took place before they could have lunch, it had been over 24 hours since they had eaten or even had a drink, and both of them where feeling it as his stomach rumbled too shortly after
"Lets go find ourselves something to eat and drink, then we can focus on shelter... in a few days we can maybe try to ride the currents back to Japan."
Nunnally nodded and held her arms out so Lelouch could pick her up, something he had been doing frequently, but they couldn't exactly keep her wheelchair in all that commotion. He carried her out of the boat and onto the beach before positioning her on his shoulders, giving her a piggyback ride, using what little energy he had left to keep her with him. She might have been safe in the boat, waiting, hell she probably would have been, but at this point he refused to let her out of his sight.
And so the Duo would move along, the young boy carrying the even younger girl through the small forest of tropical trees and over rocky, sandy grounds that would have burned his feet had he not been wearing his shoes. He searched the Island, and insofar found no food or fresh water... no fruit, no wild game, no veggies... the more he looked, the more worried he got, a very healthy person expending minimal energy would be lucky enough to survive more than 3 days without water, but him and his sister? They might be out could from dehydration by the end of the day, he could already feel a headache coming along with a stint of nausea
He continued on, until he found the entrance to a cave, it was dark in there... smart as he was, he was scared, not because of the dark, but because of what could be IN the dark, humans where naturally scared of the unknown after all, he took a deep breath, and sensing his anxiety, Nunnally tightened her grip in a comforting way, exhausted as she was, she wanted her big brother to know she was there for him
This strengthened his resolve... and into the abyss he went, his footsteps echoing into the darkness as he searched for a way to survive with his little sister, upon entering the depths of the cave... something seemed to glow... a blazing red symbol was on the wall, it practically had him in a trance, he felt something calling to him as the ambient red light and supernatural energies urged him to come closer.
He was still in control, he knew exactly what he was doing, but at the same time he felt he had no choice, there was no food... there was no water... his family had abandoned him and signed the death warrant of an entire country, the two of them where utterly alone... if help was to be found by approaching this thing, he would have to take it... they would not last out here much longer. He probably made a mistake by coming here instead of staying on the mainland, but now he had to do something if he wanted to keep living, and keep his sister safe.
He reached out a hand... gently touching the blazing red V shaped symbol, akin to a crane on the wall, his fingers grazed the surface... and then in a bright red flash, the two members of the imperial family disappeared without a trace...
August 14th, 2017 A.T.B - 3,800,000 miles away from earth
Objects of unknown origin seemed to materialize out of nowhere in the deep dark void of space, the vast expanse of stars acting as the backdrop as a fleet of alien warships dropped out of FTL, their black, blue and grey hulls illuminated by the nearby star within the solar system
On the bridge of the flagship, a long vessel over 2 Kilometers in length, there where skeletal like robots operating on advanced computer systems, monitoring the vessel as well as scanning the planets within the system itself, a larger, more imposing model acted as the commander, pacing across the command center and observing the crew, before the sound of the doors opening could be heard, the large command unit turned around and bowed
"My lords, we have arrived." The tall machine said, causing the 2 figures entering the bridge to nod simultaniously, they stood close to one another, the first being taller than the one on the right, but both where lanky, they where covered head to toe in black battle armor with capes and hoods hanging around their necks, and smooth masks with visors covering their faces
"Good. Send a message to Count Dooku and inform him that we have made it to our destination, our mission begins now, Kalani." The taller male said through his mask
"The day of reckoning shall soon be upon our enemies... right Nunnally?" He asked his identically dressed partner while the droid walked away
They looked at eachother, crossing their arms at the same time, silver cylinders attatched to the belts on their hips glinting in the sunlight that shined through the transparasteel viewports
"Of course Lelouch, and I'll be there every step of the way."
