The former Guardians walked into the airport with the Tsukiyomi siblings in tow, carrying their luggage. Naturally, Utau's luggage was the biggest since she was leaving on tour. The teens scanned the area as soon as they entered and it didn't take long for them to spot the exorcists group. All of them stood out from their unnatural hair colour to their clothes.

At that moment, they saw Amu AKA Amber throw her head back laughing as strands of her wine red side ponytail swayed with the movement. She was dressed simply in a dark grey long sleeved top that had a colourful skull design on the front, black drawstring long pants and light grey converse high tops.

Lavi who was in front of her, grinned, pleased that he made her laugh. Lavi's hair wasn't tied up like the group had seen him do in the past, he let his hair down; somehow with his hair bangs down, it made him look even more handsome they've ever seen him. He was dressed in a black long sleeved shirt that hugged his muscular built quite nicely much to Rima's and Utau's embarrassment. Completing the outfit, he wore navy blue fitted jeans and red plimsolls. The chara bearers had to admit that Amu was right, Lavi was quite good-looking although don't ever expect the guys of the group to say that openly.

Kanda with his long tied up blue hair was on Lavi's right, snorted and said something that made the one-eyed guy next to him turn sharply. Kanda was dressed in a fitted navy blue sweater showcasing his slender yet masculine frame, grey jeans and black boots. Kanda was rather attractive as well they observed and he and Amu seemed to have some sort of close relationship considering he calls her fox for some odd reason or another. They have to confess that it was a little disturbing how his demeanor and hair colour reminded them of Ikuto but they kept that to themselves, seeing how Ikuto and Kanda were already at odds with each other; no need to add that on to the already hostile conflict the two dark-haired men had with one another.

Kanda and Lavi seemed to be arguing now causing Amu to smile in amusement as she shakes her head. The three of them turned when the other female in the group started to what the chara bearers think was scolding the two. They guessed this only because she kept wagging her finger about like a nagging mother. If they remember correctly, she had introduced herself as Leenalee Lee. The short-haired girl with the dark green bob was dressed simply in a halter top that matched the colour of her hair with matching capris and black sandals.

The white haired guy that was with Kanda and Amber when they came into the warehouse the night before placed a hand on the Chinese girl's shoulder, they saw him peck her cheek making the girl blush causing the chara bearers guess they were dating. He had a gentle smile on his handsome face as he held hands with her. He wore a white dress shirt with a blue vest, matching dress pants and black dress shoes. Allen turned his head when one of his comrades, the blonde one speaks to him.

The last person in the group with the two dots on his forehead was dressed in a red sweater, showing his impressive yet intimidatingly large build clearly and dark black pants with maroon shoes. He was shaking his head in disapproval about something but then he stopped and suddenly looked up, making eye contact with the chara bearers group that was watching. They knew then that they had to stop staring and walk up toward them already. Link observed them as they approached with a slightly irritated expression playing on his sharp facial features.

Seeing the former Crow guard looking annoyed from the corner of her eye, Amber turned to see her old friends and she greeted them warmly, cheerily waving her hand, "Ohayo minna! You ready for your new adventure?"

The group minus Utau smiles back weakly to be polite but honestly no one could blame them considering they were all being uprooted to a place they had never been to before and for an indefinite time as well.

"When am I meeting my bodyguard Amu?" Utau asks, impatient.

"Miss Amber Marian?"

Everyone turns immediately to see a rather large dark-skinned man with a shaved head wearing headphones standing in front of them. Amber is the first to greet him.

"Marie, welcome to Japan."

The man smiles and dips his head in respect to the young girl, "Thank you very much."

Marie introduces him to Utau and much to her surprise, Marie tells her he is a fan of hers and spoke Japanese rather fluently. He didn't seem irritating at all. He promised her that he will respect her space and protect her to the best of his abilities. Utau could see that the older man was sincere, she liked him already.

Out of nowhere, Amber claps her hands, making everyone turn to her, "Well well, glad you two are getting along fine and dandy! I wish you well on your journey Noise Marie."

She holds out her hand and Marie takes it, surprised that she had a firm grip, "Thank you very much, I appreciate it, I-"

He winced, feeling a strong force crushing his hand forcing him to stop in mid-sentence. If anyone were to look at Amber like Allen was doing now, they would see the cold and sadistic look she had on reminding the grey-eyed teen of her father when he was pissed off. He watched with worry as the youngest girl of his team lean forward, her lips against Marie's temple as she spoke softly.

"You will look after Utau with your life. If you don't, I'll rip you apart limb from limb without any hesitation at all am I clear?" she hisses.

The man shivered, never once in his life has he ever heard a voice so cold and dangerous. As expected of the daughter of Cross Marian.

"Y-yes"

The moment the word escaped his lips, he cried out in pain and bent down one knee as she strengthened her grip so hard he was sure something was broken in his hand. "This is just a fraction of my strength Noise Marie. Utau is very dear to me so if anything happens to her, it'll be your head mounted on my wall."

Marie gulped. Amber seemed like such a sweet and lovable kid in person but the rumors were no joke. She was someone not to be underestimated; the silvery and pleasant voice she usually spoke in and her charming, kind demeanor made her seem not much of a threat but oh now Marie knew. She was not to be taken at face value.

The big man found himself gritting his teeth, feeling his hand even more in pain compared to earlier, "Answer me Marie"

"U-understood" as soon as he finished speaking, his hand felt warm but in a serene way. Something or someone was ebbing the pain away. Slowly, he could feel Amber's hand remove herself from their shared grip; ever so gently, she moves her fingertips across his callused hand. It took a while but to Marie's amazement, he could no longer feel any pain in his hand. Just to be sure, the large man flexes his whole hand and his fingers just to be sure. No pain at all.

"That was a warning Noise Marie."

The man nods, a little perturbed by what just happened, "Thank you for healing me. You didn't have to."

"Of course I had to. How can you protect my friend if your hand remained broken?"

Smartly, Marie decided not to say anything else and moved to stand up.

"Why did you that Amu?" Utau questions, the shock evident in her voice at what she had just seen. The red-haired girl's face had looked so cruel as she hurt her new bodyguard as it was fun to her and that made Utau feel chills.

"Because it was necessary."

Utau frowned at the monotone reply but her flight would be calling for passengers soon so she didn't have the time to press it, "How long will Marie stay with me?"

"Until the threat is eliminated."

The pigtailed blonde frowns even deeper seeing the look in Amu's eyes but says nothing else about it. Instead, she moves forward to hug her tightly because no matter what Amu was her friend, "We'll see each other again right?"

Ever so slowly, the red-haired witch reacted by hugging her back, "Eventually Utau."

They broke the hug after what seemed like forever and the two smiled at each other. Utau moved on to wish her goodbyes to the Guardians and her brother but the most amusing part the exorcists observed was when Utau kissed her boyfriend, Kukai leaving behind a very flustered jock. Allen, Kanda and Link smirked while the rest of the exorcists snickered at the boy's embarrassed face as Utau waved goodbye, walking away with Marie to head for her flight.

Rima: YAS! THAT BITCH IS GONE!
