~~Hello everyone, I hope you all enjoyed the first chapter.

I do not own Pokemon or Yu-gi-oh 5Ds.

Only my original characters belong to me.~~

Flareon and I are still in Nimbasa City.

The city was still busy as ever.

We heard the sound of the roller coaster rumbling in the distance every five minutes.

I hurried over to that same shop and bought a few more Pokeballs for my inventory.

Flareon looked around as she waited.

Afterward, I made my way to the Route Five gate.

It felt good to be away from the crowds.

Just as I was about to enter the gatehouse, I was ambushed by three members of Team Plasma.

Team Plasma is an evil organization led by Ghetsis who wants to conquer Unova.

There were two men and one woman.

They had relieved grins on their faces.

"We found you," they hollered in unison.

I tried to run through the gate, but they immediately surrounded me in a circle.

They cornered Flareon and me by a wall.

"You can't escape Sioku. Come with us or there will be trouble," the woman threatened.

I fearfully leaned against the brick wall and hugged Flareon tight for comfort.

Flareon nuzzled me in response.

I'll never come with you," I snapped back.

"Oh really?" taunted one of the men wickedly.

I refused to let that man get under my skin and glared at all three of them in annoyance.

"What do you guys want with me?" I demanded.

The two men exchanged an evil look.

"We don't want anything from you little girl. Our scientist is looking for you," answered the other man.

That man's response caused me to shiver violently.

Chills rapidly crawled up my spine.

I knew exactly what they were after.

Team Plasma has been obsessed with trying to obtain my healing power since I arrived in Unova.

They believe that it can bring all of their Pokemon infinite health in the future.

Dr. Colress challenged me to a battle on Route Four one time, and I defeated him with ease.

Each person sent out one Pokemon: a Lipard, a Watchhog, and a Golbat.

Flareon stared at their Pokemon with a death glare and growled protectively.

I felt Flareon's body heating up and quickly released her so she could fight.

"Go get it," I said playfully.

She then charged toward Lipard and angrily fired a powerful flare blitz at it.

I stared at the orb of flames in awe.

"Good work Flareon," I praised.

Flareon wagged her tail as she looked up at me.

Lipard cried out in pain as it stumbled backward.

A huge burn mark was left on its side.

"You'll pay for that!" yelled its female owner.

Her face was flushed with anger toward me.

"Use shadow ball," she commanded.

The dark type cat Pokemon weakly released a ball of dark energy at Flareon which didn't harm her at all.

The burn almost immediately took effect and weakened .Lipard's attack.

Flareon easily dodged it with her tail.

I stepped forward and bravely held up two Pokeballs.

A fearless grin stretched across my face.

"You know, I always wanted to have a three on three Pokemon battle. This could be fun," I said confidently.

"It will be fun when you lose," replied one of the men.

I sent out Dragonite and Stoutland.

Both Pokemon joined Flareon in front of me.

"Golbat, use super sonic," started its male owner.

The poison and flying type bat Pokemon unleashed a super sonic sound wave which confused Flareon and Stoutland.

Stoutland and Flareon lowered themselves to the floor.

They couldn't focus because of the high pitched noise.

Stoutland rose to its feet a few seconds later.

"Now use poison fang on Flareon," he added.

Flareon howled in pain as Golbat sank its poison filled fangs into her back.

Seeing her like that tugged at my heart.

The poison traveled slowly through Flareon's veins, weakening her body with every minute that passed by.

I quickly returned Flareon to her Pokeball since battling would only worsen the condition she was in.

Flareon is one of my best friends, and I didn't want to risk her health.

"Don't worry Flareon, this battle should be over soon. I'll take you to a Pokemon center," I assured.

Knowing that one of my Pokemon was out of commission for a moment sent me into panic mode.

However, I couldn't let my team down by being afraid of Team Plasma and their threats.

I put up a brave face despite my fear.

"Dragonite, use ice beam on Golbat," I instructed.

Dragonite released a beam of ice from its mouth which froze Golbat in place.

The bat Pokemon desperately attempted to flap its wings but to no ava

"Golbat, no!" yelled its owner.

"Watchhog, use thunderbolt on Dragonite," commanded one of the men.

The normal type hedgehog unleashed a thunderbolt on Dragonite, but it had little effect.

I smirked while pointing at the frozen Golbat. "You guys aren't the only ones who can use thunderbolt."

"Dragonite, use thunderbolt on Golbat," I commanded.

Golbat was shocked violently until it fell to the ground.

Without a word, the man returned Golbat to its Pokeball.

Our teams were now down to two Pokemon.

I smiled as I thought of a new strategy.

"Stoutland, use retaliate on Lipard," I command.

Stoutland charged toward Lipard at full speed.

"Dodge it Lipard," called its female owner.

The lingering burn effect caused Lipard to move slower than normal, so it didn't have a chance to avoid Stoutland's attack.

Stoutland then unleashed a series of attacks on Lipard.

"Dragonite, let's finish Lipard off with dragon claw! We'll teach these guys a lesson," I shouted proudly.

Dragonite roared as it ascended into the air.

A few seconds later, Dragonite descended and slashed at Lipard with its sharp claws.

Lipard crashed to the ground with a hard thud.

The female returned Lipard to its Pokeball.

"Watchhog, use ice fang on Dragonite," commanded the last male Team Plasma member.

Watchhog rushed forward before sinking its freezing fangs into Dragonite's tail.

The ice froze Dragonite to the ground.

"Stoutland, use crunch on Watchhog," I urged.

Stoutland opened its mouth and bit down on Watchhog.

Watchhog was now trapped between Stoutland's teeth.

I couldn't help but smirk at that.

"Free yourself Watchhog," hollered its owner.

Watchhog used thunderbolt from inside Stoutland's mouth, causing my Pokemon to instantly let go of it.

Stoutland roughly shook off which allowed the electricity to dissipate.

"Use ice fang on Dragonite once more and bring it down," ordered Watchhog's owner.

Dragonite desperately tried to move out of the way, but it was still frozen in place.

Watchhog used this opportunity to hit Dragonite's wing with another ice fang.

Dragonite slumped down on the floor and fell asleep.

I returned Dragonite to its Pokeball.

"Thanks for your help," I said softly.

This was now a one on one battle between Team Plasma's Watchhog and my Stoutland.

Fortunately, Stoutland was still in good health.

Watchhog looked like it can be brought down with just one more attack from any Pokemon.

"Watchhog, use thunderbolt," shouted its trainer.

Stoutland got zapped again, but it wasn't as effective this time around.

"Counter that with fire fang," I commanded.

Stoutland growled and charged forward before sinking its flaming fangs into Watchhog's body.

Watchhog fell to the ground with a hard thud.

"Now use retaliate," I added.

Stoutland launched a stronger series of attacks on Watchhog, knocking the Pokemon out.

Watchhog's trainer returned it to a Pokeball.

"You did a great job out there Stoutland," I praised while embracing my furry friend.

Stoutland nuzzled me in response.

Just when I thought this situation was over, the female member of Team Plasma slowly crept up behind me.

The two men stood behind her.

"You didn't really think that winning the battle would let you get away from us, did you Sioku?" she said with a menacing grin on her face.

The woman was only met with silence.

She then held up another Pokeball while turning to look at her teammates. "Okay men, it's time for plan B."

"Right," they replied in unison.

I closed my eyes in fear.

A terrifying flashback entered my mind, but I couldn't push it away.

~Flashback to Eight Years Ago~

I was only seven years old.

Our family friend's 16-year-old daughter Mira agreed to babysit me because my mom had gone on a business trip to Opelucid City.

Mira always wore black and grey clothing.

I was laying down on one of the couches and watching my favorite cartoon in the living room.

I had on pink socks, frilly pink shorts, and a purple shirt with flower designs on the front.

My messy hair was pulled into a loose ponytail.

Mira walked into the room with a friendly smile on her face. "Hey Sioku, would you like to have a Pokemon battle with me?"

"No thanks," I answered softly.

I didn't feel well at all that day, so I wasn't in the mood for any Pokemon lessons.

"Why not?" she asked slightly annoyed.

"I'm sick," I briefly answered.

"Whatever," Mira replied with a huff.

Mira always hated getting rejected.

She then stormed out the back door.

I suddenly began to sweat profusely.

My body started to burn up from the inside.

I turned away from the Tv and drifted off to sleep.

A few hours later, my mom entered the house.

Mom approached the couch with a warm smile.

I opened my eyes and looked up at her.

She was still dressed in her business attire which consisted of black high heals, a long, black dress, and a thin, white cover.

Her long, brown hair was pulled into a braid.

"Hello Sioku," she greeted.

Her voice sounded kind and soothing.

"Hi Mom," I whispered back.

I wanted to get up and hug her, but the weakness in my body wouldn't allow me to move.

She glanced over at the Tv and grinned. "I see that you are watching Yu-gi-oh again Sioku."

I smiled back in response.

The duel between Kaiba and Pegasus distracted me from my sickness for a moment.

I tried to lift myself up into a sitting position, but I flopped back down on the couch.

Mom gasped in horror as she noticed my weakness. "Sioku, what in the world happened to you?"

"I don't feel good," I answered weakly.

She lightly touched my forehead, and it warmed her hand instantly. "Sioku, when did you start feeling sick?"

"I started feeling this way a few hours ago. I told Mira about it, but she didn't care. She just ignored me and left the room," I answered sadly.

Mom gently took me into her arms.

I laid my head on her chest.

"Don't worry love, I'm not mad at you. I'll have a serious talk with Mira later. I need to get you to a doctor first," she replied with concern.

Without hesitating, Mom hurried out the front door while holding me close.

After helping me get situated in the car, Mom climbed into the driver's seat and drove off.

We arrived at the nearest hospital after a few minutes.

Mom carried me inside since I was too weak to walk.

A cool breeze blew by as we entered.

After Mom finished checking in, a female nurse led her to one of the back rooms.

Mom carefully laid me down on the bed.

I immediately felt uncomfortable in there.

The nurse thoroughly examined my body as Mom answered all of her questions.

I shivered in fear as the medical equipment came in contact with my skin.

"You're okay Sioku," Mom assured.

My body finally gave in to exhaustion.

I closed my eyes and drifted off.

Unfortunately, I fearfully jolted awake as soon as I felt a needle go into my arm.

There was an oxygen mask over my face.

I became frightened by the constant beeping sounds coming from the machines around me.

There were doctors surrounding my bed.

I felt my space being invaded.

Yu-gi-oh was playing on the Tv, but I was too scared to pay attention to it.

All of the monitors began beeping erratically.

~End Flashback~

The woman from Team Plasma impatiently sent out her grass type Pokemon.

"Roselia, use sleep powder," she commanded.

The grass type rose Pokemon Roselia released a powder from the flowers on her hands.

Stoutland quickly returned to its Pokeball.

I collapsed to the ground after breathing it in.

All three Team Plasma members restrained my body with ropes and carried me away.

~Time Skip~

The sleep powder finally wore off after an hour.

I woke up on a wooden table in a small room.

My limbs were secured to it by heavy straps.

Various machines were set up around me.

The walls were completely white.

This place reminded me of a hospital.

I looked down to find Stoutland sitting on the floor with the rest of my Pokeballs next to it.

I took a deep breath in relief knowing that all of my Pokemon were still safe.

The door creaked open, causing me to jump.

A male scientist quickly entered the room followed by his female assistant.

I was immediately creeped out by the lab coat and white gloves he was wearing.

The scientist released a short wire from a small compartment on the bottom of a machine to my left.

His assistant did the same to a machine to my right.

Three glass tubes hung down from each machine.

They then attached a needle to each wire.

Afterward, both needles were inserted into my veins.

The needles were then secured by medical tape.

I winced internally at the pain.

Both machines simultaneously made a loud beeping noise when they were turned on.

I gasped in horror at that.

Sweat covered my entire body.

My heart began to race with anticipation.

I forcefully held back a scream as my blood was being extracted every few seconds.

The blood loss made me feel dizzy after ten minutes.

I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

Both needles were removed from my arms once all six of those tubes had been filled up with blood.

The scientists then placed square-shaped bandages over each extraction spot.

Stoutland's ears perked up as it watched them leave.

I couldn't even hear the door open or close.

The room was finally quiet.

Stoutland tried to wake me up by jumping on the table, but I didn't move a muscle.

Nudging me with its nose didn't work either.

Stoutland let out a dejected sigh as it sat next to me on the table with its ears drooping in defeat.

After thinking for a moment, Stoutland finally hopped down from the table and stared at my Pokeballs lying in a small pile on the floor.

Stoutland then used one of its front paws to open up Ampharos' Pokeball by pressing a button.

Ampharos popped out with its tail sparking wildly.

My electric type Pokemon raised one of its front paws in the air before using thunder punch on me.

I still didn't respond.

Ampharos then hopped off of the table before opening up Flareon's Pokeball.

Flareon popped out and quickly hopped onto the table in Ampharos' place.

Both Pokemon combined psychic and signal beam in order to transport me out of the lab.

Their powers were strong enough for us to escape.

My Pokemon and I landed in an unfamiliar dimension.

None of them recognized the area.

They sat around me as I lay still in a patch of soft grass.

Many hours had passed since we arrived, and my condition showed no sign of improvement.

I eventually woke up with Flareon snuggling up against my chest with her head on my shoulder.

"How did we end up here?" I wondered out loud.

I curiously scanned the surrounding area.

My Pokemon and I were resting on the beautiful lawn in front of a huge mansion.
