Lavi stiffined seeing Amber looking as stunning as usual as she entered the arena with her long red hair tied into a sleek ponytail with bangs framing her angelic face dressed in a white long sleeved top with a sprawled all over suit deck card pattern, black shorts and red sneakers.
Cross couldn't help but smile seeing the look on her face. She looked excited and that was good.
"First the exorcists and then the Guardians."
"I get to choose which Guardian Character I fight with?"
"That's right."
Amber grins as her competitors and her father watch as she backflips into the dome with ease.
"Come on down!"
Kanda scoffs but enters the dome anyway with his teammates behind while Cross watches on in amusement. The Guardians study Amber who seemed very eager to fight.
"You know I always taught of Amu as a pacifist" Nagi admits outloud.
Cross sighs irritably, "You kids need to stop thinking of her as Amu. The girl you see now is what she really is."
"My Own Heart Unlock!"
The exorcists turn away blinded but when they finally regain vision, they stare at Amber in shock.
Amber wore a silver cross necklace that rested on her still growing buxom brought out by the black bustier with grey lacing that she wore and low on her hips she wore a black miniskirt that had a silver cross chain tightly wound around it. Long thigh high black boots adorned her legs while the top of her head, she wore a trademark witchhat.
She looked incredible but the smirk on her face was a little chilling that was until her father yelled.
"Amber! What the fuck are you wearing?!"
"Blame the Humpty Lock! It altered my transformation!"
"Why the fuck is that stupid antique keep putting you in revealing clothes?! I am telling you that crap is perverse!"
Amber groaned, face palming herself.
"Just start the damn match!"
Cross grunts something inaudible before starting the match with little enthusiasm. The Guardians watch as Amber conjures up her broom and takes off on it into the skies above before the exorcists could advance on her. Leenalee activates her Dark Boots and follows in pursuit but realizes she is unable to catch up.
"Slowpoke!"
Gritting her teeth, the Chinese teenager doubles back and dives toward the witch, getting a direct hit and knocking Amber off of her broom. Rima gasps in shock but the little redhead wasn't unconcious as she thought and casts a spell.
"Cross Tornado!"
Ikuto watches in awe as a large purple tornado seems to come out of Amber's hand and get bigger and bigger as it sucks in the entire team of exorcists. You could actually hear Leenalee, Lavi and Allen screaming and Kanda cussing violently.
Tadase points out Amber in the distance from the tornado with her arms up in the air and her eyes glowing purple as she chants something. The tornado stops and everyone watches as each exorcist fall onto the floor with a thud.
Allen rubs his head in pain but pales when he looks up and sees Amber's weapon glistening in the sunlight.
"An axe?"
She beams sweetly at him until he sees her lips curve into a devillish smirk. He doubles back as Amber rushes forward trying to slash at him with her axe. He activates Crown Clown and clashes blades against Amber. Allen was surprised by the killer intent coming off of her; the girl's fighting spirit was immense. Distracted, Amber twirled her body and slashed hard on Allen's uniform causing a huge rip to form. The teenager sways almost about to fall on his arse but Amber had other plans for him. She presses her button on the axe, the blade seemingly hidden itself away which turns her weapon into a staff. Using it as a bat, she hits Allen hard in the chest which sends him flying.
Leenalee had just gained consciousness. She stands up slowly but the wind was completely knocked out of her as Allen sends her flying backward. She screams as Allen's back presses against her chest which causes the both of them end up spiralling backwards.
Link advances towards Amber, ready to cast a spell but Amber saw it coming and pressed the button on her staff to bring back her axe again. She swings the staff down hard, casting a spell, "Cross Whirlwind!"
Links gets blown away by the wind and his back lands hard against the wall of the dome. Lavi curses, seeing his comrade taken down and tries attacking Amber with his growing hammer.
"Man! Man! Man!"
"Cross Typhoon!"
Lavi screams as the black tornado sucks him in and Amber laughs watching him struggle to get out. Suddenly she stops, her danger sense kicking in and turns just in time to deflect Kanda's Mugen with her axe.
"Rematch huh?"
Amber smirks back and the two clash.
From above, Cross watches with interest. He had heard before that Kanda was on par with his daughter for sword skill and the rumor was definitely true, seeing the way the samurai was able to deflect his daughter's quick blows.
Ikuto snorts, standing next to the man, "I thought you said these exorcists are badasses? They got hit once and all of them hasn't lodged a second attack minus Kanda."
"All of them are disoriented. See over there? Leenalee just puked. When Amber uses an attack as Amulet Cross there is an added effect of causing nausea and giddiness to her opponent if they get hit. Kanda probably has it too but somehow he still remains focused."
Kanda pants hard as he fights Amber knowing that whatever she did to him was beginning to take his toll and she knew it. She giggles, swinging her axe faster. Kanda grunts in annoyance and conjures another Mugen trying his best to deflect them. Amber knew she was going to win and put in more strength in her blows seeing Kanda losing the focus he needed because he was starting to dodge clumsily. Suddenly she notices Kanda falling forward and holds her axe in one hand before falling to her knees to catch him before he hits his head. She turns him over and gently brushes her fingertips against his handsome face, "I win."
He grunts in annoyance, tilting his face so her palm cups his cheek, "You don't play fair Kit." She giggles and leans over to press a kiss on his forehead. She ends the transformation, smiling softly.
Later when the Guardians enter the arena, they turned back to look at the exorcists. Lenalee still looked a little green as she rested her head in her boyfriends lap while Lavi holds an ice pack to his head. Link was rubbing his shoulder irritably while Kanda lazily watched Amber stretch.
"We won't hold back!" promised Rima.
Christa snorted loudly causing Amber to smirk, together with everyone else, she transformed.
"My Own Heart Unlock!"
"Amulet Siren!"
"Clown Drop!"
"Sky Jack!"
"Platinum Royal!"
"Beat Jumper!"
"Black Lynx!"
"START!"
Ikuto charged head on together with Tadase and Nagi on either side. Amber smiles slyly and conjures somethinh in her right hand. Kukai and Rima watch her twirl like a ballerina with her ribbons in her hand.
"Siren Spell!"
Ikuto stopped short, realizing first that something was wrong and saw four human-like beings encased in white light emerge from the whirlwind Amber was spinning. He called out to the others to double back but in a speed he could not comprehend ,he found himself kicked in the chest together with Tadase and both teens ended up on their back, looking up at their attacker. Once the light died out, the features became clear; pink cheer leading outfit, sneakers and heart accessories. It was Amulet Heart with her feet on their chests.
"Been a long time ne?"
Nagi rolled out of the way as Amulet Spade tried to swat at him with her giant paintbrush. She got him good in the shoulder in her first attack but at the speed she was going at, Nagi doubted he could keep dodging for long.
He turned and saw Rima and Kukai struggling, bounded by yarn with Amulet Clover hovering over them, humming to herself as she knitted in mid-air. Nagi tuns back only to duck as Amulet Spade swatted at him again. He crouched, looking up at the familiar face he never thought he would see again.
Pink hair, honey-coloured eyes and soft rosebud lips.
How was Amber able to conjure this kind of trick?
He cursed as he swerved to side, avoiding another attack.
Amu was always relentless.
Ikuto could not land one single hit on Amulet Heart. Tadase was down and thus unable to help him because Amulet Heart had landed a swift knee to the boy's gut, knocking him out completely. He blocked her baton and glared back at the look in her eyes.
Amu...how?
He backed up and from the corner of his eye, he saw Amulet Dia in a defense stance in front of Amber who sat with her knees to her chest, smirking at him as if she was enjoying some sort of show. Irritated, he slashed his claw and watched as Amulet Heart disintegrated right in front of him.
That's it!
"Daiya"
Amulet Dia turned to address her mistress, "Hai?"
Amber narrowed her eyes in distaste, seeing Ikuto attack with new vigor, "Ikuto is taking out your sisters, get out there and disable him if you can."
"Hai Ojou-sama."
Rima panted hard, she was sure that her body was bruised by the yarn Amulet Clover used. It was as if the yarn wanted to suffocate her to death. Kukai helped her up and she watched as Nagi somehow managed to resuscitate Tadase and also help him back on his feet.
"STAR SHOWER!"
"HOLY CROWN!"
The former Guardians crowded behind Tadase as he protected them from Amulet Dia's blasts. Rima tilted her head and saw Ikuto avoiding the attack with ease as the knives encased in light sped toward him. She watched in awe as Ikuto jumped straight in the air and tried to slash at the pig-tailed pinkette.
"TWINKLE SHIELD!"
Daiya descended downwards with Ikuto on top of her shield as he tried to break it with his huge claw. She lands on her back painfully but somehow manages to turn him over, switching positions so she sits on top of him, undoing her shield but before she could attack him with the dagger she managed to materialize in her hand, Ikuto stabbed her in the gut with his claw, defeating her.
From afar, where the spectators were, Cross was surprised by Ikuto, he didn't think the blue haired teenager had the knack for fighting since he seemed like such a mellow character that couldn't be be bothered but guess he was wrong.
He turns to look at his daughter and sees her covering her ears with her hands, he tilts his head and watches as she performs another attack.
"SIREN CALL!"
A shrill, harpee-like sound rang out from her mouth and all the former Guardians screamed, falling to the ground one by one, the transformations becoming undone as they hit the floor. The exorcists watched with interest and secretly thanked the heavens none of them were in the arena to experience the full blast of that sound attack.
When Amber stops, she notices Ikuto was still in his Black Lynx form so walks toward where he was on his hands and knees, wondering what was up with him.
"Stubborn aren't you?"
She sidesteps a slash, surprised that Ikuto still had a fight in him until she realized that blood dripped from his mouth.
"He bit his tongue to keep himself from going down!"
She curses quietly as Ikuto comes at her, she dodges his attacks with ease but realizes that Iktuo wasn't going to let up. It was as if the more she dodged, the faster he got.
Kanda watches Amber dodge Ikuto easily but he could tell from her face that something was bugging her. He wondered if it was because Ikuto had shown that he was capable in offense or because she was trying to figure out how to disable him without hurting him. He deadpans when he sees the teenager pull Ikuto toward her but his jaw completely drops when he sees the redhead kiss him on the mouth. It was only for a moment so when Amber steps back and Ikuto falls forward, seemingly unconscious, he falls in Amber's arms. She lays him on his back as his transformation becomes undone. She kisses his forehead before getting up and for the first time, the wing like design on her beck somehow stretches and expands into full-fledged wings.
The curious spectators watches as she flies toward them, a serious expression on her face before giving instructions, "Get them all to the infirmary. Ikuto will be fine as well. The kiss I gave him is merely an aphrodisiac spell. He will be alright and won't remember a thing. Don't worry."
"Did you have to kiss him?" Cross growls, irate.
"Yeah!" pips in Lavi, secretly jealous. "You could give him the wrong idea!"
"He's my friend and his anger towards me was boiling more and more while we fought. I didn't want to-"
Amber stops, realizing she said to much. Without another word, she flies off at top speed, away from everyone much to Kanda's chagrin.
