6 months has passed and the current situation was dire. The exorcists were fighting for their lives against the Level 4 Akuma but Kanda and Allen in particular were elsewhere dealing with the revival of Alma Karma.
Allen was injured during the fray and the people around him: Kanda, Reever, Johnny, Leverrier and the other Science Section Heads looked upon the situation in shock because for some reason Allen was floating in the air and his skin was darkening. Kanda carried Alma in his arms who too was also injured but Kanda couldn't tear his eyes away from Allen, a smirk came upon his seemingly unconscious face, his eyes turning completely white and pupil less as some sort of static barrier was starting to form around him.
"Thank you Kanda Yuu! Thanks to you ripping apart Allen walker with your innocence...the 14th has fully revived within Allen Walker!"
Kanda's eyes darkened with realization, remembering that he had fought with Allen a little while ago in rage, bent on killing Alma but Allen was being Allen, fended him off because he knew Kanda and Alma were friends.
But...I hurt him?
"This is the end of Allen Walker! THANK YOU KANDA!"
The Millennium Earl started to laugh manically while Johnny in his corner with Reever and the other hostages started to the inside, Reever wanted to cry too but instead he screamed, "Was this your whole plan Earl? Was your intention all along was to use Alma and Kanda for this purpose?!"
The earl ignores him, clearly too loss in his glee, he was confident he was going to win. "Noah will never forget the grudge they have against innocence! The more Allen is hurt, the more the 14th will come forth!"
Elsewhere
Link stared in shock as Timcampy started growing bigger and bigger, then he heard a voice casting a spell. It sounded deep and almost hollow.
"Abata...Ura...Masarakato..."
Timcampy started rising into the air and flew towards the barrier at lightspeed with leaving Link staring dumbly as he was left in the dust. The voice chanting he heard that Timcampy was emitting sounded extremely familiar but it was awfully low to be her...
That voice...could it-?
"BORDER DESTRUCTION!"
Timcampy opened its mouth, releasing a static charge against the barrier that kept everyone from the outside.
Tyki turned, his eyes widening in alarm as he realized what was happening, "The border surrounding the branch!"
Kanda closed one eye, the bright light was too blinding, "What is going on?!"
"YO! Anybody miss me?"
Kanda stares wide eyed in shock at the familiar redhead emerging from the light above. The Millennium Earl and his Noah family watched in disbelief as Amber Marian came through the light with two ladies they did not recognize. They seemed to be about but her age advancing downward together with her at her sides; the one on the right in black attire with one on the other side adorned in white but they didn't recognize either of them but what worried the Noahs was that two strange girls were cradling coffins. Amber raised her hand, chanting a new spell as she descended.
"Om! Amata! Masakaro! On! Vatri!"
The two chained coffins came undone and all three girls landed on their feet with the the two bodies that came from the coffins.
Rhode let out a bloodcurdling scream, when she recognized who they were. The Noahs were thought to be dead but it did not seem the case after all.
Lulubell was dressed in a purple high low gown, her eyes empty and hollow with long black lace gloves and low heeled shoes on her feet. She had a peaches and cream skin tone to her similar to her human form. Jasdevi was dressed in a dark blue suit, with a black pocket square, black ribbon tie around his neck and brown shoes on his feet. He too also had empty, hollow eyes and human skin but a sun-kissed color compared to his Noah sister.
"MY NOAH! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THEM?! I THOUGHT YOU KILLED THEM?!"
Amber smirked, immensely satisfied with the Noahs reaction especially the Millennium Earl before turning to her right hand, "Christa, take care of them."
Christa nods her human head, her smirk widening as she led the two former Noahs into battle; she ran and the new modified Noahs followed immediately, keeping up to her speed easily. From a distance, Christa did not look so menacing at all. Presently, she was wearing a black and gray lolita dress with long striped thigh high socks and boots on her feet which was a pretty atypical loli look but Christa was no simple goth lolita. That manic grin could easily tell you that Christa was no got the Cross Axe out, making it materialize in her hands easily before leaping high into the air and trying to slice at the one called Feedler as gravity forced her back down toward the Earth. Lulubell and Jasdevi jumped into fray as well, attacking other Noahs separately much to the apostles confusion.
With the Noah's attention distracted, Amber motioned to Yumi to give her a boost. Yumi stuck her hands out and lifted her mistress high into the air as Amber jumped into her hands, the redhead screams out a spell stretching her leg out as her foot collides with the barrier that was surrounding Allen. The barrier crumbled instantly and Amber carried him bridal style in her arms, landing on her feet before placing him gently on the ground. Yumi rushes over, moving her hands to Allen's temple, murmuring and enchantment as she began healing him, his colour instantly changing.
Kanda who was still carrying an unconscious Alma, stared at Amber in disbelief. He hasn't seen her in half a year and here she was before him but still not looking at him at all, she looked older for some reason, muscle and natural curves slowly beginning to take shape in her still teenage body. He studied her new uniform, the changes clear without a doubt it was a nod to her father with her new form of dressing.
She had on a black hat like her father used to wear, her hair styled like his underneath. Amber's Exorcist coat was buttoned to just above her waist, exposing a bit of her belly and as much as seeing her skin usually distracted him, it was her coat that caught his attention. She had the General Seal on her right breast signifying her new position.
When did that happen?
Aside from that, she had on black fitted trousers, a likely white top underneath her coat from what he could see of the frill white sleeves peaking out of the thick cuffs and high heeled red boots that were likely 5 inches in height.
She lets out a breath in relief and Kanda turns to see Allen's appearance had returned to normal and at the same time, Alma waking up in his arms. He instantly became angry at the mere sight of his former friend who was carrying him no less. Amber turned and her eyes glowed gold at the sight of Alma's soul as it was becoming more and more frantic. A ghostly figure of a woman, chained and crying appeared and she stared. If memory served her right...then that woman was...
"Alma...you-?"
"SHUT UP!"
Alma sat up in Kanda's arms, wrapping his hands around his former friend's throat. Amber's blood ran cold at his demonic expression. "Don't you dare hurt him!"
Alma started to glow and Amber knew exactly what he was doing thanks to her gifted sight, she screamed out a spell and gold vigils appeared on Alma's body swirling and moving on his skin. He stopped and touched at the vigils frantically. He pushes himself off of Kanda, screaming in agony as he felt himself weakening.
"Stop! Stop!"
Amber raises her hand, ready to finish him but Kanda stops her, grabbing her outstretched hand "What are you going to do?"
"I am sending him and her to where they truly belong."
They?
The samurai frowns until he sees a tender smile grace her lips, "In peace."
Amber clenches her hand into a fist and Alma's body crumbled in an instant. Kanda stared in horror, unable to move at first but then smoke began to form from the fallen pieces of his friend and he watched in awe at the image of Alma and what he presumed was Alma's past self begin to take shape in front of him as ghostly figures but she seemed eerily familiar.
I love you
Kanda's eyes widened, finally realizing it. She was the woman from his illusions. She was the lover from his past self former life. He turns to Amber who was smiling softly.
"May they rest in peace."
Allen rubbed his aching head as he sat up, slowly opening his eyes once he finally began to adjust to the light. He turns to see a girl dressed in a white babydoll dress and intricately laced heels on her feet. He couldn't recognize her at all until he took the time to properly focus on her features; long lavender hair, sparkly amethyst eyes and a multi colored four leaf clover in her hair.
"Y-yumi?"
"I'm surprised you recognized me so quickly Allen." she smiles innocently.
"H-how are you human?"
"Ah well, Amulette has found a way to make guardian characters human for a short period of time but she only makes us human when she really needs it though."
"Yeah and it's hella fun!"
Christa comes toward them, dark maroon blood staining her black and grey lolita dress as her boots sounded heavily on the ground with each step. Allen blinked, remembering the other character. He stared dumbly as Christa proudly boasted of her prowess as a fighter. She was a lot more livelier than he remembered.
"Allen!"
He turned just in time for Amber to fall onto her knees and hug him tightly with her arms around his neck. The scent of her sweet perfume filled his nostrills immediately and her soft skin pressed against his cheek as she brushed against him,"I'm really glad I made it!"
She pulls away, smiling widely with tears in her big eyes. He still could not get used to the sight of the golden flecks in her hazel orbs. She opened her mouth, ready to talk but Kanda comes over, taking her hand and pulling her upward, he sets her down on the ground and she stands upright. She turns to him but before she could scold him, Kanda pulls her close and kisses her passionately causing Yumi to swoon at the sight while Christa looks away in obvious embarrassment.
Allen stares at the two of them in shock. It wasn't like one of those close-mouthed kisses like you do when you're Amu's age where the boy is too shy to even touch the girl. It was full on, open-mouthed, almost sexual kiss. And it was obvious that Kanda of all people, KANDA was completely into it. The way he pressed her small body against his as if he wanted her melting into him. The kiss was getting deeper, deeper than all the galaxies in the universe, they were obviously french kissing now; his soft full lips imprinting themselves on Amber's like a footprint in the snow, forging a sense of exoticism and roguery.
Eventually, they pulled away, Amber first because she lacked oxygen, she was breathing hard. "You trying to suffocate me with your mouth?!"
"Don't you dare leave me again."
The redhead faltered at the look he was giving her, part of her wanted to retort but Kanda wouldn't give her a chance, suddenly he tips her hat off her head and lets it fall in Allen's lap, "I hate the hat."
"EHH? WHY?!"
"Because it covers your face and I like looking at you."
Amber's face flamed until a loud voice rang out in the air catching her attention. It was the Millennium Earl.
"AMBER MARIAN I DEMAND TO KNOW WHAT YOU DID TO MY LULU AND JASDEVI!"
The redhead in question turned, smirking as she proudly proclaimed that she had bent the bodies of the three Noah to her will. She used her magic to remove the Noah inside of them and forced their bodies into a reanimated state where they were still able to use their powers. It took months of dedication and hard labor but it paid off. She finished her lengthy monologue by rubbing it in the earl's face that he lost many of his Noah in the fray as clearly seen that only Tyki, Road, Cyril and the earl himself were the only ones left standing. Christa did a number on them along with Lulu and Jasdevi.
The earl screamed in rage and swore revenge but before he could leap off his makeshift cliff to make a play for an offense; Tyki Mikk held him back and Road used her Dream powers to teleport them all out of here with the earl cursing violently. Lulu and Jasdevi who were now at Christa's side, stared blankly after them, not a single thought in their minds.
After they were gone, the sections heads and the science department team cautiously made their way over to where Allen was. Amber meanwhile was ushering her Noahs back into their coffins where her human sized guardian characters could do up the necessary binding. Kanda meanwhile decided to help Allen to get back on his feet. He supported him with his shoulder despite being in pain himself but it was clear Allen was just as significantly injured if not more.
"Hey Kanda?"
"Hm?"
"Do you have a death wish?"
"What?" Kanda scowls but Allen went on.
"You know Cross is going to maim you for kissing his daughter right?"
Kanda turned nonchalantly but spoke seriously to a surprised Allen.l, "I cannot be her secret boyfriend anymore. I can't stand hiding how I feel so I will face the consequences."
Amber's blush warmed her cheeks, hearing his words her heart pounding until Kanda said he will gladly beat her father to the ground to make him see he is a fitting suitor.
"He is still my father you know.."
"I can still beat him."
"Kanda, you haven't even beat me yet mind you."
Amber smirks widely, pleased to see his irritated expression until all of a sudden something catches her attention. Amber's blessed innate senses told her that many Crow guards at once were nearby and about to advance on her position but before she could even think about how she was going to handle the situation, everything went dark.
