He stood there with a smile that showed his happiness to be rid of high school. No more being bullied from the jocks such as Dash, no more homework, and no more early mornings. Danny Fenton now the age of 18 was graduating high school.
Of course there was down sides to the graduation. In his mind the negatives were, no more hot girls, no more sneaking in the girl's locker room (he had an advantage with his ghost powers), and no more seeing his friends' everyday.
He knew his friends and him would go their separate ways as soon as collage started. Danny planned to go to the University of Wisconsin such as his father and mother had done. He had been thinking about all this until a familiar voice popped in.
"Danny!" the voice of Sam, his best female friend yelled. She had been waving her hand in front of his face.
Danny gave off a sheepish grin and replied, "Sorry I didn't catch what you were saying."
Sam had just been telling him about where she planned to move and such. She definitely would be moving out of her parent's house. Then after that, Danny's mind started to fly off into space, and Sam had caught on.
She rolled her eyes, "You know if you're going to space out on me could you at least not make it so obvious?"
He chuckled. "Sorry Samantha."
She cringed at her full name. "Don't play games with me Daniel!"
"Hey!" he snapped.
The two stood there for a minute and before they knew it were wrestling on the ground.
"Get a room you lovebirds!" Yelled the voice of Tucker, who had just returned from the bathroom.
Yes, and then their so familiar line in unison came up.
"WE'RE NOT LOVE BIRDS!"
Tucker jumped up in fright, "Gee wiz!"
They tilted their heads in confusement and Sam spoke, "Gee wiz? That's worse than Ember's insult, Dipstick!"
Sam and Danny began laughing.
"You two always gang up on me…" He emphasized the word, two.
They sighed and shook their heads. "Just drop it."
Tucker nodded his head, in fear they might do worse to him. After all, two is better than one.
"Are you kids in bed yet?" Bellowed the voice of Danny Fenton's father.
Danny rolled his eyes, "I'm 18, graduating high school in 2 days and yet my dad still checks if I'm in bed."
Sam and Tucker began to laugh. "Aw it's not that bad Danny at least your parents don't make you try on pink frilly things like Sam's parents."
Tucker then received a death glare from Sam. He chuckled and backed off.
The trio then had a good laugh of memories and such. Eventually they fell asleep. Tucker lay fast asleep lying against the wall. Danny was spread out on the carpet. Sam's head lay on Danny's arm. All of these best friend moments would soon come crashing down, in two days. Graduation.
