"What a wicked game you play, to make me feel this way

What a wicked thing to do, to let me dream of you

What a wicked thing to say, you never felt this way

What a wicked thing to do, to make me dream of you

The world was on fire and no one could save me but you

Strange what desire will make foolish people do

I never dreamed that I'd love somebody like you

And I never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you"

Queen Beryl is the Commander of the Dark Kingdom and the four Knights who serve under her. It is said that Queen Beryl held no mercy for those who failed her, those often being subjected to an eternal sleep as punishment as opposed to the sweet release of death. The beauty of her fiery-red hair and glowing orange orbs pulled subjects to her like she was surrounded by a gravitational field, keeping them in her control even when they wished to leave. She is cruel and heartless with her subjects, careless with their lives. It goes without saying that Queen Beryl's every command was followed no matter the outcome, as anything other than victory would mean instant peril.

Then there is Emperor Carnelian, Queen Beryl's ruthless twin brother. His short red locks mirrored the hue of spilt blood and his eyes a piercing scarlet. Out of the Dark Kingdom, only five know of him and live to speak of him; four of them only within the privacy of their chambers. Emperor Carnelian was Queen Beryl's right hand, her confidant, her advisor…her executioner. Those lucky enough for a quick death underneath Queen Beryl's hand never experience meeting the emperor's wrath. It is said that Emperor Carnelian loves but one person and it is his twin, anyone else is meaningless. This has led to conquering planets and destroying them in her name, all without remorse and that made him worse than her.

Where Queen Beryl ruled through fear, Emperor Carnelian ruled through death.

Elbow length hair in the shade of pure moonlight flowed softly over toned shoulders and down a smooth back. Fair skin was flushed and lips kiss-swollen rose, azure orbs hazy from pleasure and muscles burning with liquid heat. Kunzite's lips parted and a moan tumbled free, his body trembling as his lover's hot mouth practically ravished him. Nimble fingers tangled in short amaranth locks, wanting to push his lover away as the sensations flooding his system became too overwhelming, but holding him close as he sought sweet release.

The fingers breaching his entrance went unnoticed until they began their relentless assault against the bundle of nerves inside him. Kunzite's back arched as a cry of his lover's name escaped him. Soon those fingers were replaced by something much larger and hotter than that talented mouth. Whimpering at the slight pain, Kunzite grappled for his love's shoulders in an effort to ground himself as thrust after thrust slammed into him, filling the room with the echoes of their quick, rapid-fire pace. Scarlet orbs locked onto darkening blues and Kunzite came with a shattering scream, pooling warmth coating his inner walls.

As blackspots danced in Kunzite's eyes, a hand slipped into his and laced their fingers together. Kunzite slowly turned his head as his lover slipped free from him and climbed off of the bed, blue eyes met the satisfied slate orbs belonging to Jadeite. Curled up behind the blonde-haired man was Nephrite, love-bites marring the brunette's entire body. All three exhausted from the thorough love-making they were individually subjected to by the same man who was currently getting dressed in his obsidian uniform with blood red outlines.

"Carnelian…?" Kunzite spoke their lover's name with a questioning tone, the redhead usually one to stay with them and rest after their carnal actions.

Finished securing his calf-high black riding boots, Emperor Carnelian leaned over and pressed a hungry kiss to Kunzite's lips, before repeating the action with Jadeite who had leaned up to meet the redhead halfway. Stepping around the bed, Carnelian caressed the back of Nephrite's head as he placed a kiss to the sleeping brunette's forehead. Before the redhead could answer their unspoken question, both Kunzite and Jadeite joined Nephrite in sleep. Making his way to the thrown room, Carnelian's regal form entered to the sight of his twin sitting languidly on her throne. Seeing who had just arrived, Beryl sat up straight with a frown.

"You've been spending more and more time with them, Brother."

Carnelian nodded in agreement to his twin's statement, knowing that he has been spending an obscene amount of time with the four knights, one of which the reason for him not currently resting with the others.

"Zoisite?" Carnelian questioned, his tenor smooth as dark chocolate and carrying a hint of curiosity.

Whenever one of the knights were being sent out of the castle, Carnelian would be informed as to prepare for all possible scenarios, especially when it came to seeking out the Imperium Silver Crystal. Beryl's painted red lips curved downward in a severe frown, almost forming a pout that no one would call her out on. Scarlet orbs flashed with amusement and amber gems darkened with annoyance.

"Zoisite has been sent to retrieve my prize," Beryl stated, leaning back against her throne. "He shall be back within the hour."

Deciding to wait, Carnelian stepped closer to his sister and leaned against the side of her throne, crossing his arms over his chest. The tapping of long, sharp nails had him glancing down to see Beryl looking up at him.

"Why do you insist on soiling yourself when them, Carnelian? They are but mere servants to our cause," Beryl inquired with a raised brow.

This was not the first time Beryl had asked him this question and Carnelian doubts it would be the last. He answered all the same.

"The energy I absorb through carnal desires is the best kind of energy."

Beryl turned away with a roll of her eyes.

"I much prefer the energy fear gives off. Why can't you do the same with death, my dear executioner? Time seems to be making you lax," Beryl said to him and did not have to look up to see the glare aimed at her.

Even she is not immune to her twin's piercing gaze. She may be queen, but The Negaverse titled Carnelian emperor for a reason.

.:oOo:.

A slow shuffling of feet, one indicating a limp was heard before Zoisite managed to enter the throne room where his queen and emperor waited. At the sight of his emperor, Zoisite faltered. He did not want to show weakness in front of his love, but with his orders came informing his queen of his failed mission. With great difficulties, Zoisite ignored the biting pain radiating through his left leg and knelt down in front of Queen Beryl. His wavy blonde locks fell in a curtain around him, having broken loose of its high ponytail during his fight with the Sailor Senshi.

"Report," His queen demanded and Zoisite held back a flinch as he stood up to do just that, doing his best to not swipe at the blood trailing down from his hairline to his jaw.

"…broke my hypnosis and proceeded to attack as one. The Sailor Senshi overwhelm me and I had to retreat, before I could recover the crystal," Zoisite informed Queen Beryl, whose amber orbs were dark with anger.

She had remained silent all throughout his report and that was never a good thing.

"Failure…is the one thing I do not tolerate," Queen Beryl hissed, moving to stand up from her throne.

Zoisite kept his viridian gaze focused on the marble flooring as his queen approached. He began to tremble as she pinched his chin with her thumb and forefinger, forcing him to look up into her eyes.

"Such a weak little thing," Queen Beryl murmured out of her brother's earshot.

Zoisite's eyes grew wide.

"What could he possibly see in you?" She sneered softly, her nails biting into Zoisite's tender flesh and causing him to flinch in pain.

At that tight grip vanishing, Zoisite opened his eyes having no clue when he had squeezed them shut. He saw a familiar obsidian clad back standing before him, his emperor grasping his queen's wrist in hand. Queen Beryl glared, snatching her hand back.

"Then you deal with it!" She shouted, striding quickly out of the throne room most likely to torture some unsuspecting servant.

A steady arm wrapped around Zoisite's shoulders, the other going behind his knees before he was lifted off of his feet. A whimper of pain escaped him, his fingers grabbing hold of the front of Emperor Carnelian's uniform. In no time at all they were walking into the emperor's room where the other three knights slept. Passing the bed and stepping into the bathing chambers, Zoisite was carefully set down on the edge of the large stone tub. Zoisite reached down to remove his boots, but a calloused hand stopped him. Confused, Zoisite opened his mouth to say something when his emperor began removing the blonde's boots for him. Zoisite remained silent as his clothes soon followed.

Heat flooded his cheeks as Zoisite stared at his emperor undressing himself next, his obsidian and crimson uniform joining his gray and green one on the marble floor. He was then scooped up against a muscular chest, before Emperor Carnelian lowered them into the warm waters. Zoisite sighed as the warm temperature soaked into his bones, the sensation relaxing to his sore body. Leaning further against his emperor's chest, Zoisite felt a secure arm wrapping around him before a calloused hand splayed over his lower abdomen. Carnelian's other hand covered Zoisite's eyes and nudged his head back to rest against his chest. A firm mouth slanted over his and Zoisite felt energy transfer into him, his wounds beginning to heal.

.:oOo:.

Drifting into awareness, Carnelian felt Zoisite's lithe figure splayed out on top of him while two others curved along his sides with their heads resting on his shoulders. Kunzite's long locks tickled his chest as he nuzzled Carnelian's shoulder in his sleep. A deep sigh escaped Jadeite, his warm breath fluttering over Carnelian's neck. As the three knights continued sleeping, scarlet orbs glanced to the side to stare at the one who had roused him awake.

Nephrite lay flushed against Jadeite's back, his arm hooked over the shorter-haired blonde's waist in order to rest on Carnelian's hip. The brunette's other hand was currently running gently through Carnelian's amaranth locks. Noticing the scarlet orbs focused on him, Nephrite smiled in silent greeting. Mocha orbs flickered to a dozing Zoisite, before going back to staring into that scarlet gaze.

"Was the mission a success?" Nephrite asked in a whisper, because a mission was the only reason Zoisite would have been absent yesterday evening.

"No," Carnelian answered after a moment's pause, his deep tenor vibrating his chest.

Zoisite exhaled softly, turning his face and hugging closer to the muscular form beneath him. Carnelian did not miss how Nephrite's eyes scanned over the youngest knight, searching for injuries from the mission and the punishment of failure. Not once had Queen Beryl relented on punishing anyone under her command if they failed her, no matter the degree of danger the missions brought to those ordered to complete them. Seeing not even a scratch marring Zoisite's form, Nephrite bit the inside of his cheek. He dared not ask, despite wanting to know why Zoisite seemed unhurt. It was not because he enjoyed the four of them being punished by their queen, only that it could mean a harsher punishment to be dealt in the near future. Calloused fingers caressed the side of Nephrite's face before twirling a wavy lock around his finger and tugging gently.

"Worry not, Nephrite, harm shall not come to pass on the four of you by the Queen's hand," Carnelian voiced quietly, closing his eyes to savor the remaining morning in bed.

"Sailor Venus Power!"

"Sailor Mercury Power!"

"Sailor Mars Power!"

"Sailor Jupiter Power!"

The Sailor Senshi shouted as one, raising their power wands high into the air as their powers began to radiate around them in a shield-like fashion. Their shield stood no use against Kunzite's own power, his energy blades slicing through the Sailor Senshi's shield like butter. Cries of pain sounded from the four Senshi as they fought to shield the one they called Sailor Moon. As they collapsed, Sailor Moon came into awareness. Her crystal blue orbs widened in shock at the sight of her friends laying injured on the ground, and she turned her suddenly determined gaze on Kunzite.

"For my friends," Sailor Moon declared, holding up her crescent moon wand in Kunzite's direction. "In the name of the moon, I'll punish you."

He inwardly scoffed. No punishment Sailor Moon gave him would be in comparison to Queen Beryl's if he failed.

"Cosmic Moon Power!"

Kunzite formed two long energy blades in his hands and threw them dead center at the pig-tailed wearing blonde as the strange light from her wand grew brighter.

"What?" Kunzite uttered in disbelief, raising his arm to block the brilliant light attempting to blind him.

Pain struck him in the chest and his azure orbs blinked in disbelief before a cough racked him. Blood splatted from his mouth, coating his lips just as his legs weakened under his weight.

"Kunzite!"

Pain-filled blue gems looked into piercing scarlet as obsidian clad arms caught him from falling.

"Who is that?"

"Emp-Emperor Car…nelian," Kunzite murmured weakly, the energy blade dissipating and leaving a deep stab wound.

Carnelian covered Kunzite's bleeding wound with a gloved hand, the redhead glaring at the five Senshi over his shoulder; the look promised retribution as pitch black energy waves began to pulse around Carnelian's hand. Kunzite grunted in pain, feeling his wound beginning to stich itself shut.

"Hey! Who are you?"

The only response that question received was the gravitational pressure to suddenly increase over the five Senshi, the force slamming them into the ground and holding them there with little ability to breath under the crushing force. Once completely healed, Kunzite was help to his feet and one of Carnelian's arms remained wrapped around his waist in support.

"Kunzite, go to the others," Carnelian ordered, not looking away from the five Senshi panting on the ground.

Nodding, Kunzite teleported back to the safety of the Dark Kingdom where the other three knights were with Queen Beryl. Reaching up and over his shoulder, Carnelian gripped the handle of his obsidian broadsword and pulled it from its sheath. The sharp blade etched in a lost language gleamed menacingly in the moonlight. As he had all five of their attention, the fear practically merging with his gravitational field pressing down on them, Carnelian teleported the six of them into the throne room. He allowed his abilities to vanish, leaving the five women gasping for air.

"You wish to know who I am? Clearly you have forgotten your past, Sailor Senshi," Carnelian spoke in his deep tenor, his tone emotionless as he took slow steps towards them. "Let me remind you. I am Emperor Carnelian, your past, present, and future executioner."

As he spoke, he brought his other hand up and the five women rose along with it, his gravitational pull lifting them up into the air. Behind him stood the four knights, including Jadeite whom Sailor Mars thought she had killed in a fiery blast. The runes etched along Carnelian's broadsword began to glow with pitch energy, the man channeling his powers into his blade.

"The four knights you see behind me, they belong to me and me alone. They are mine and no one touches what is mine," Carnelian voiced darkly at the trembling figures hovering in the air before him. "This lesson clearly did not stick the last time I taught you. Let this one be your last."

"WAIT!"

Before Carnelian could bring his sword down in a powerful strike that would surely kill all five, his sister stepped up beside him. Carnelian glanced at Beryl from his peripheral and waited for her to speak on why she interrupted him.

"The crystal. Where is the Imperium Silver Crystal?" Beryl demanded, grabbing Sailor Moon's face and digging her sharp nails into the tender flesh.

Sailor Moon cried out in pain and Carnelian noticed the sound caused Beryl's puppet to flinch.

"I want my crystal!" Beryl screamed in Sailor Moon's face, jerking the woman's head back and forth as if to shake the answer from her.

"Sailor Moon!"

"Leave her alone!"

Tired of hearing the incessant screams, Carnelian focused his power on the two loudest Senshi before tightening his hand into a fist. Immediately the two women, one with long blonde hair and the other with long black locks, began clawing at their throats. He did not give them much time to think about how they were suddenly choking, forcing his arm down and them to slam into the marble floor. They lay there unmoving, blood beginning to pool beneath them.

"AAAHHHH!" The remaining three Senshi screamed at the sight of their two friends.

Beryl's puppet, Prince Endymion's reincarnation, broke out of her enchantment and light engulfed him. Just as quickly as the light appeared, it vanished to reveal the man in battle armor similar to the late prince and a sword the raven did not hesitate in drawing. Carnelian intercepted Prince Endymion's(?) sword strike to Beryl's back, forcing the man backwards with the force of his own strike. Within seconds he was surrounded by the four knights, their hands glowing with power aimed directly at Prince Endymion.

"Please don't!" Prince Endymion shouted, pleading for no more deaths. "I'll swear fealty!"

Beryl actually paused at Prince Endymion's words, turning slightly to look at the raven with wide amber orbs and a growing smirk.

"Fealty?" Carnelian inquired emotionlessly. "To whom? Not to me."

He turned back to his sister.

"Do as you wish to her, but the remaining shall die," Carnelian told her firmly, readying the deal just that.

The two forms on the marble floor moaned in pain, signally their life still present if barely.

"Anything! I'll do anything!" Prince Endymion begged as Sailor Moon shook her head back and forth, her hands clutching at Beryl's wrist.

"The crystal!" Beryl shouted, glaring at Sailor Moon. "The crystal now for their lives!"

"NOOO!" Sailor Moon screamed back, right before something warm splashed her face.

Wide eyes jerkily moved to look beside her, blue orbs slowly widening as she took in the sight of red, red, red spilling everywhere. Sailors Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Jupiter lay on the ground, the four not uttering a single word as their blood mixed with one another's. White light blasted throughout the Dark Kingdom, engulfing the shadows and all the creatures that lived in them. Carnelian leaped back to where his knights stood, forcing up a shield to protect them from further harm.

Scarlet orbs locked onto his twin's crumpled form, her having taken the brunt of whatever power was coming from Sailor Moon. Prince Endymion endured the light, rushing to Sailor Moon's side as her uniform changed into a flowing white gown and a large silver crystal began to bloom at the center of her chest. With dull blue orbs focused entirely on her fallen friends, Sailor Moon-no, Princess Serenity used the Imperium Silver Crystal to heal her friends and bring them back from the brink of death.

Deep within the heart of Tokyo, the soothing sound of piano music echoed throughout a high-rise luxury condo. The sweet melody bringing comfort and relaxation for the four men inside. The man who played the piano sported short golden locks and slate orbs, their casual gray slacks cladding firm thighs and their white button up shirt pushed up at the elbows showing slim muscles. Across from them laying on their stomach reading a novel was another blonde, this one with chest length waves of spun silk and emerald orbs glinting with an innocence only youth seemed to have.

Standing by the floor to ceiling windows and peering out onto the stary sky of the city was the taller of the four, their hair reaching their elbows and a rare shade of moonlight. Azure orbs sparked from the reflection of the city lights twinkling in the blanket of darkness covering the city as the time for rest drew closer. The fourth of the men, a brunette with hair as equally long and wavy as the second sat on a soft leather chair across from the reading blonde, his mocha orbs closed as he listened to the sweet sound.

Daisuke, Masaya, Yuki, and Kosuke housed together in the condo, each holding a love so strongly towards their fifth member…the one whom they were all waiting for. Each held memories shared of past lives and past names of Jadeite, Zoisite, Kunzite, and Nephrite respectfully. Their new lives brought them all together and for destiny they were truly grateful as it brought them back with their love, their protector, their everything. The piano music drifted to an end just as the front door to the condo opened up and in stepped a man with hair as red as spilt blood and eyes a rare scarlet.

As one, the four merged in greeting at the man with smiles.

"Welcome home, Asahi."

The newly named Carnelian's lips quirked up into a slight smirk, returning the four's affection with ease.

"I'm home."
