Making sure I had everything I finished preparing and disappearing in a shunshin at the west gate. Sitting in a tree I looked at the sun and it was about thirty minutes before dusk.

Taking out a senbon I twirled it between my fingers while Seitaro came next and rose a brow," Why do you seem happy?"

I smirked," I beat the hell out of my stupid sister. Her arrogance knows no bounds apparently."

He chuckled while Saya looked at me and blushed while I remembered the conversation I had with my parents just a few hours ago. I felt my face redden slightly while Seitaro questioned," Why are you blushing, Keiji...Saya?"

"Nothing."

"Nothing."

We had said it at the same time causing our blushes to increase while I quickly fought over my emotions to calm myself,' Dammit mother, father you just had to spring this on us! This is now awkward as fuck.'

Seitaro rose a brow and chuckled," I call bullshit. I am just going to guess you guys are engaged?"

Saya turned her head away while I remained looking at him and stated," Seitaro shut up."

He grinned," Nah, about time your parents arranged it!"

Saya was on the ground with steam coming from her ears while Yuma-sensei chuckled," Oh boy lets get back into focus and Saya I will talk to you later."

Yuma-sensei continued," Our mission is a B rank possible high A rank depending on the opposition. We are going to be fighting on the frontlines for nearly a week. Keiji will be running to the side of us to take the enemy by surprise and hit them hard. Seitaro Saya you guys will be on either side of me in triangle formation, we will travel at full speed for a little while. Do you all understand?"

"Hai."

Taking off through the trees running parallel to them while the sun set overhead the forest was dark now. Suddenly Seitaro spoke up," Enemy in bound."

A thought of shock tore through me,' What the hell! We are still in Konoha territory!'

They stopped while Yuma-sensei growled," Great one of those newer enemies."

Crouching in a tree, hidden by shadows I drew my katana without a sound preparing to strike, something moved with startling speed Yuma-sensei yelled," Hakke Kūsō!"

A blue dome surrounded her repelling what looked like spears of shadows or something. My eyes widened seeing something terrifying. A humanoid being on all fours with massive claws growled," Humans. Now I shall devour you."

Disappearing in a shunshin I appeared above them and whispered,"Hono no Kokyu: Ichi no kata: Shiranui!"

Using the shunshin I lashed at his head, flames came from my sword while the being dodged. Sliding to a stop he froze and hissed," A demon slayer! DIE!"

He rushed at me, I activated my sharingan and lunged forward,'Hono no Kokyu: Ni no kata: Nobori En Ten!'

Swinging my sword upwards at the neck, the claws of the creature drove towards me scratched into my side barely while I cut his head off. Breathing outwards I sheathed my swords while the creature disintegrated before our eyes. Yuma-sensei ran up to me," You alright Keiji?"

I responded," Yes it is just a scratch."

Her eyes softened slightly," Well congratulations you are the first one to kill one of those things. It called you a demon slayer right" I nodded as she continued," If I had to guess it is a demon the enemies we are dealing with are demons."

I pinched my nose," Well fuck. Are we going to continue? Three of us can see in the dark, you, Saya, and myself."

Saya tugged on my arm," Um Keiji perhaps we should talk and take a break we have been running for three hours already."

Looking at her as her face was red while Yuma-sensei snickered," Fine we will stop for a little while, let the love birds talk for a bit."

I felt my face redden while Seitaro laugh," Have fun making out!"

I stuttered," S-shut up!"

Both of them laughed while they walked away.

Saya and me both sat up in a tree the moonlight lit up the world around us. Seitaro and sensei were on the other side of the road eating some food.

She whispered," What do you think about us being...e-engaged."

I breathed out," Honestly, Saya I rather be engaged to you than anyone else. You are my best friend."

I kinda surprised myself that I said that without stuttering, she leaned her head on me," Keiji, truth be told I have had a crush on you for a while. Apparently had already guessed as much and asked for this arrangement."

I coughed slightly shocked and I knew from the heat on my face the blush had returned, my hormones were going out of control while I leaned into her and kissed her forehead," Again I rather be in an engagement with you rather than anyone. Before this gets out of hand, Saya will you be my girlfriend."

She whisper yelled," Yes!"

Leaning down we kissed softly,' Well this is a first. Her lips are so soft.'

Pulling away from her as she sighed and whispered," Thank you for being so accepting of this Keiji-kun."

I smiled," No need, Saya-hime."

I can tell she was blushing slightly while her hand wrapped around my own," Well I am going to get some food. Lets go we have a long day tomorrow."

I groaned," Fine, fine."

She let go of my hand jumping down while I watched as Seitaro said something as Saya suddenly bashed him hard in the head while I appeared beside them in a shunshin. Yuma-sensei smiled," Well Seitaro we have to get you a lover now."

I glared at her," We are in the middle of a war sensei."

Taking one of the ration bars I wrinkled my nose at the taste and finished it quickly.

Breathing out nervously I whispered," Are we headed out again?"

She nodded," Yes, we were waiting for you guys to eat and finish 'talking'."

Standing up I stated," I am staying with the group for now, sensei. I want to be closer in range while it is night. At day time I will go into the forest."

She smiled," I was just about to ask that actually. Lets go."

Alright people you may be wondering why their relationship developed so fast it is because they have known eachother for years. That is why they are already a couple. Eventually there will be lemons, but for now there will only be limes.
