The steady beep was the first thing I heard when I finally opened my eyes. A breathing mask on my face while I breathed outwards softly while I turned my head to the side and noticed I was in a hospital room. I felt lingering pain all through my body while I remembered what happened. I was totally outclassed. The door opened up while a nurse walked over and carefully took off the breathing mask and left the room.

A couple minutes passed when foot steps came running in while Saya skidded to the side of the bed and panted before clasping my hand. Crying while six other people came inside standing behind Saya. Ko, sensei, mother, father, and Seitaro stood next to me.

I rasped out," Hey."

All of them looked at me in disbelief as my brother laughed," You dumb little brother. The first thing you say when you see us in the hospital after being injured beyond measure is "Hey."

My mother sighed in relief," Keiji, you are insane for fighting someone that powerful."

I snorted as I coughed rapidly while I stated," That demon is far stronger than you think mother. If I had to guess... what is above SS ranked?"

Her face paled," Your kidding right?!"

" You saw his speed. I couldn't even keep track of him with my matured sharingan maybe if I had Mangekyō sharingan but other than that no. HIs strength is godly, I have the feeling he wasn't even using more than five percent of his true power."

Yuma-sensei muttered," Your near Kage level speed, we have kage level speed and we still couldn't follow his movements. Your sharingan can keep up with your brother in hand to hand combat. At full speed. He is right, sensei, Ko."

Seitaro growled," We could have helped!"

"You would have been slaughtered," I stated with cool certainty," Which I will not allow when I get out of the hospital I will drive you both into the ground. How long do I have here?"

The nurse from earlier poked her head in," You have been unconscious for the better part of five months. You are going to be a bit stiff and sore for a few weeks but your bones are fully healed."

"Fuck...Can I get up then?"

Saya quickly and gently took the IV out of my arm while I winced slightly before I was helped up slowly from my laying down position.

I stated," What have I missed while I was out?"

Seitaro and Saya glanced at each other while I narrowed my eyes," What?"

My mother stated," To keep it simple we are losing the war again and Hokage-sama wants you back on the field in two weeks time."

"Very well."

I stood up shakily and immediately sighed," Let me get some training back then I will be ready to go."

Saya sighed," You are working yourself to death."

Everyone nodded in agreement while I stated," We are at war against Oni no kuni, Iwa, Kiri, and Kumo. Some of our opponents in case you haven't noticed are easily stronger than Kages."

My eyes were harder than usual as I stated," Seitaro, Saya I will be pushing you hard in these two weeks."

Walking towards the compound while the guards looked at me while I ignored them as I took notice my sister was sitting next to the koi pond. I knew instinctively she was not in good shape still mentally. Which made sense.

One of the guards appeared in front of me with a sword to my throat. I stated," Kindly take your sword away."

He paled horribly and quickly disappeared while I snorted while I breathed out," Hello sister."

She nodded mutely while I noticed she was weaker. Her body was losing its normal shape.

Shaking my head I turned away and prepared to go back to training. Grabbing my gear I changed quickly grabbing my vest before using my shunshin to appear on the training ground. Both of my team mates were there while Saya spoke concerned," Do you want to take it easy for today?"

"No. Now let us see what both of you got."

The next instant both of them appeared on either side of me while I smirked," You have improved in speed. Well done."

Both slashed their blades at me while I blocked their blades.

An hour later

Seitaro panted," How are you not out of shape from being in the damn hospital for five months?!"

I shrugged," No idea. Oh I am rusty by the way. I barely managed to scratch you."

Saya groaned," Damn you."

"You love me, hime. Now get up it's time for me to actually use breathing styles. This time anything goes for the both of you."

They both smirked while Seitaro chuckled," We have grown much stronger in shinobi skills. We can push your mother to use her Eternal Mangekyō."

'Meaning they are Mid A ranked borderline High A ranked shinobi. However they don't know how strong I really am I can use that that to my advantage. They seem to be a bit cocky now, time to knock them down a few pegs.'

Disappearing in a flash of speed I appeared behind Seitaro as his eyes widened in shock. Saya was already onto me while I stated," Hono no Kokyu: San no kata: Kien Banshō!"

Saya blocked the blow barely while her eyes widened in shock while Seitaro yelled," Raiton: Raikou Kousen no Jutsu!"

"Hono no Kokyu: Shi no kata: Sei En no Uneri!"

Blocking the attack with ease as I spoke calmly," You guys have gotten arrogant, Saya-hime, Seitaro. You guys haven't even reached my level in breathing styles or kenjutsu. Now to give you a heads up I have to breathing styles. Flame style I have mastered. The second one well-"

I was interrupting blocking a strike from Seitaro while his sword clashed with mine. I disappeared in a shunshin and kicked him in the gut causing him to spit out blood while he groaned," H-how are you at this level still? I though we had caught up to you now?!"

I replied," Because you don't understand the fact you are still weak in one area. The mind, is what makes a Demon Slayer strong. Not just the heart and body. An old quote: Iron sharpens Iron, Mind sharpens mind." (A/N I am not sure if that is an actual quote fyi I think I made it up)

He was spent collapsing on the ground spent while my fiance gulped while I appeared behind her with my sword to her throat," I surrender. You are right we have gotten too arrogant. H-how did you overwhelm us still so easily?"

"While I was unconscious physically I fought in my mind against imaginary opponents. Once you reach a high enough level mentally you can train in your mind. So in other words I have not lost a lot of training. Just actual physical training now goodbye Saya-hime."

She pouted," I was supposed to tell you. We were moved into a new house for the both of us in the Uchiha compound."

"Thats why my room was almost empty. Alright let us go."

She smiled softly, lighting up her beautiful face. While she asked," What about Seitaro?"

"Nah, leave him."

"Thats cruel, Keiji-kun."

"..."

We disappeared the next moment, she showed me around for about half an hour before we climbed into seperate rooms and going to sleep.
