Sachi's P.O.V.
" Sasuke! Naruto! Sachi! Take this guy out! You can do it!" Sakura yelled out from behind the mirrors while she stood in front of the bridge builder as we were looking at Haku.
" I didn't get to him. Then I'll try it again. As many times as, it takes. Shadow Clone Jutsu." Naruto said as he lets go of his left arm and started to create Shadow Clones and sent them at Haku again. It ended up in the same result as last time. They all fell to the ground in a blink of an eye and then more needles came at us and most of them hit me which made me fall to the ground.
" How is he doing that?" Naruto asks as he looks at him, " One more time! Shadow Clone Jutsu!" He yelled as he sent out more of his clones at Haku.
' We need to find out which one is the real one but how.' Sasuke thought as he looked around for a way to find out on which one was the real Haku when he leaves out of the ice mirrors and then he looked down at the ground and he noticed that there was water all over the place. That gave him any idea, he knelt to the ground and sucked up some water in his hand and then he tossed it in the air and was looking like he's waiting for something.
" Can't you see that it's useless?" Haku asked as he was taking down Naruto's clones, but when he was moving to mirror to mirror, I saw the water that Sasuke threw in the air earlier was going in different directions. That must mean that he has some sort of a pattern with his ice mirror switching. If he moves again, there will be a chance that we will find his weak spot. I stepped to where he will move to and Haku threw more needles at me and I hide my face behind my arms while I was gritted my teeth to hold in the screams.
" Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Naruto yelled and his clones going at him again as Haku readied his needles.
" Just won't give up." Haku said as he jumped out of the mirrors towards the clones. Before Haku was able to hit any of the clones, Sasuke used his Fire Ball Jutsu at Haku as soon as he was close to him, but he was fast enough to dodge it that it didn't even singed his clothes. Haku ran back into one of his mirrors and took out all of Naruto's clones, which once again threw Naruto to the ground.
" Naruto!" I yelled as I went over to him and pulled him up to his feet with his right arm.
" I was so close but I couldn't quite get him." Naruto said as he was tying to catch his breath.
" Naruto, can you do that again?" Sasuke asked him as he focused on Haku.
" Huh? Of course, nothing can stop me. Believe it!" Naruto yelled as all the mirrors started to glow.
" Naruto, run for it! Get out of here and attack from the outside, and make sure that Sachi goes with you! Hurry!" Sasuke said as he started to do his hand signs. Naruto just looked at him at first before he listened to what Sasuke said and he turned to me and picks me up bridal style running to the nearest exit.
" You can not escape." Haku said as the mirrors started to glow bright and in a flash there were needles coming at us which made Naruto drop me and I skidded over to Sasuke's feet.
" You think you can keep me here? Forget it!" Naruto yelled as he gets up and runs towards the exit and Haku was ready and leaped out of one of the mirrors and went after Naruto.
" That's it! Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" Sasuke yelled as he spitted out fire at Haku, who was charging at Naruto. He saw the fire coming at him and he dodged them and throwing a single needle at Sasuke which he wasn't expecting. Haku stopped Naruto from getting out of his mirrors, I stood back up on my feet, ignoring the pain in my legs.
' Shink'
I screamed in pain and fell to my knees, it was hurting so bad. Blood started to come out of my eye and I placed my hand over it to stop the bleeding, the needle was stuck right in the middle of my cornea. I had never felt anything like this before, but it was incredibly painful. I tried to keep my screams inside, but it was hard. It felt like it was going in slow motion, then Naruto was thrown back and landed in front of Sasuke while Haku was jumping back into the mirrors. It didn't take long for Sasuke and Naruto to notice where the needle had it me.
" Sachi!" Both yelled as they came over to her side.
" Sachi, no." Sasuke said as he knelt down to me and to see what happened. All the tears in my eyes was mixing with my blood that was pouring down my face. He held my head in his hands and was able to get a good look at the wound, that was when I realized of what he was about to do, and I started to shake my head no. She could tell that he didn't want to do it, but I know it's the only way to stop the bleeding. I gave him a terrified look on my face knowing how bad it was going to hurt and he just me a sad look and I didn't want it, but it had to be done, if not it was only going to get worse.
I shook my head yes to him letting him know to do it, he lifted his hand to the needle but hesitated at first but then took a hold of the needle. There was a sharp pain in my eye as Sasuke touched it, and as much as I wanted to tell him to stop, I knew that it needs to come out, so I tightened all my muscles for the pull of the needle my eyes. Once Sasuke pulled it out with a swift motion and my whole body froze in pain and I couldn't move or make a sound from the pain. Then my eye went numb at first but then the pain came back again, and I shut up eyes immediately closed on their own. I felt myself starting to drift off and then the world turned black.
Sasuke P.O.V.
I saw Sachi crumble to the ground on her knees and I immediately ran over to her side along with Naruto. When I heard her scream it was the most painful that I had to bear. She was always protecting me, and she almost got herself killed against Zabuza because he had me in his grasp. I gritted my teeth as I looked at her eye seeing blood coming out and going down her face, clothes, and onto the ground as she is holding her eye to try and stop it from bleeding.
I supported her head into my hands and I held her close to coax her the best way I could. I could tell that her eye was in a lot of pain and I know that there is only one way to make the pain go away and that is to pull the needle out and once we take it out we could put a bandage on it once we are done with the mission and it will ease her pain. Be I take I can't do it, I'm her brother I don't want to hurt her.
A brother shouldn't see his own sister in so much pain and in agony, which I was afraid of hurting her anymore then she already was in. The way she looked at me in fear knowing what I was about to do, she has never been this scared ever not since we were kids. She was terrified. But then she nodded her head to me giving me the okay of pulling out the needle from her eye, she started to grit her teeth and was getting ready for me to pull it. I reached out to the needle and she winced a little bit when I touched it and I knew that she wasn't going to be okay if it was left in her eye any longer than it already was.

I pulled the needle out of her eye and then she froze in place. She didn't even scream or tremble in pain, she closed her bleeding eye. I tossed the needle aside and then I turned my attention to Haku's form, he looked like he was ready to make his next move which made me stand back up on my feet and I stood in front of Sachi protecting her from anything that Haku would try to throw at her.
" How could you do that to Sachi?!" Naruto yelled as he clenched his fists.
" I was trying to hit the boy that was with her, but she got in the way of the shot. This is her own fault." Haku said as he looked at both of us.
" Naruto. One more time!" I said as I was starting to get really annoyed with this guy. Naruto looked at me for a moment not moving till I looked back at him with a glare.
" Grab Sachi and get out of here right now!" I yelled at him. Naruto jumped a little when I yelled at him then he looked at Sachi passed out from the pain from her eye and he goes over to her and picks her up bridal style and started to run towards the exit. I looked back at Haku and I could sense that he was running low on chakra, and that he was going to be slowing down a bit as well. I ran the opposite direction of Naruto and waited for the right moment.
" No more games. I need to stop this now." Haku said as he came out of one of the mirrors and aimed more needles at me. One of them hits my leg which slowed me down a bit, that gave him an opportunity to strike me in more vital spots which made me fall to the ground.
" Sasuke!" Naruto yelled as he turned to me and then Haku threw more needles at him and he drops Sachi to the ground. I heard a loud scream coming from behind the mirrors and there was no one else that can scream that high other Sakura.
' That scream, that was Sakura. What's happening to her? Where's Kakashi?' I thought as I tried to get back on my feet.
" S-Sakura, she's in trouble." Naruto said laying flat on his face trying his hardest to get up.
' We've go to break through.' I thought as I hear Naruto grunt and trying to lift himself up from the ground with Sachi right next to him still out.
" I'll bust us out of here. I'll fake him out." Naruto said as he got up shakily breathing.
" You've exhausted my patience." Haku said as Naruto showed off his chakra going to one exit just as Haku was waiting for him as he jumped out of the way running to the other exits as Haku followed him in his mirrors.
" Naruto! Behind you! I yelled as I saw Haku holding needles aiming at him. Naruto doesn't react fast enough and he's getting hit by all the needles.
" Naruto!" I yelled as he fell to the ground in pain.
" Your chance of escaping my house of mirrors is zero. That is absolute." Haku said as I ran over to Naruto and Sachi.
" Naruto, are you able to get up?" I asked him as I got over him.
" Try not to use anymore chakra, that's only going to help him now." I told him as I looked at Haku.
" I know Sasuke, I know." He said as he fell back down to the ground again.
' We can't go on like this, he's blocking every move we make. I've got to find a way to out maneuver him.' I thought as I kept eyes on Haku making sure he didn't do anything.
" My eyes have adjusted to his movements." I said as I stood up.
" Looking for a counter attack? I'll save you the trouble." Haku said as he pulled out more needles as he goes to the next mirror to him and threw them at me as I grabbed one of the needles on the ground and blocked all the ones that was coming at me and Naruto and Sachi.
" Get up loser. We've got to team up." I said to Naruto as he tries to sit up from the ground.
" I know what we have to do, believe it Sasuke." Naruto said as more needles came our way and I blocked as many as I could then I grabbed Sachi and jumped out of the way and I placed her back down on the ground gently and I turned to Haku and I stood in front of her protectively, I was going to make sure that he wasn't going to hurt her.
As I waited for Haku to make his next move, I heard movement behind me and Naruto and me looked to see it was Sachi trying to get back on her feet and I went over to her and I placed my hands on her shoulders, " Sis, you need to be careful. You need to take it easy, me and Naruto will be protected you."
"Y….You can't do this by yourselves. Your going to need my help weather you like it or not." Sachi said as she moved my hands from her shoulders and stood back up on her feet. One of her eyes was still closed and still bleeding which made me worried about that so I went to my pouch and pulled out a bandage and handed it to her and she looked at me and gave me a little smile and she grabbed it and quickly wraps it around her eye and once she was done, she pulled out a kunai knife and got into a fighting stance.
" Looks like that didn't keep you down, well let's see how you will handle this." Haku said as he threw more needles at us which we tried to dodge them but then one of them hits both of my legs and I fell to the ground very hard.
" Sasuke!" I heard both Sachi and Naruto yell my name as I slowly lifted myself up from the ground.
Sachi's P.O.V.
When I saw my brother on the ground, I ran over to him to make sure he was okay, and I heard Naruto right behind me. I placed my hand on his shoulder and he looks at me and gave me a little smile that only I get to see, and I smiled back and then I looked back at Haku with a glare. I stood up in front of my brother while Naruto checked to see if he was okay.
" So your still alive I see. Let's see how long that will last you." Haku said as he threw more of his needles at me and I dodged out of the way and I pulled out my kunai knife out of my pouch and I blocked all the needles that came at me and when I saw him move behind me and threw more needles I moved out of the way. But when I landed again, I noticed that he threw more at Sasuke and Naruto, and they wouldn't have time to get out of the way. I ran over to them as fast as I could and took all the needles in my body.
"S….Sachi?" Naruto and Sasuke asked me as they looked at me as I stood in front of them with all the needles that was in my body.
" Are you guys okay?" Sachi asked as she slowly turned her head slowly to them and gave them a little smile.
" Why did you do that Sachi, why?" Sasuke asked as he looked at me with a shocked look on his face.
" Why did you protect us?" Naruto asked as tears started to come down his face as he looked at me.
" Did it because you guys are my team. Naruto, you are my friend and I would do anything for a friend. Sasuke, you need to live, no matter what happens, you live your life to the fullest. I love you brother." I said as I fell to the ground, before I hit my head my brother caught me.
" S-Sasuke I know he is still out there. Our brother, I promised myself that I would have found a way to change your mind about him, but it looks like I won't be able to get that chance." I said as I grabbed his hand and held it between my fingers and then I gave him and small smile and then I looked over at Naruto who still had tears going down his face.
" Naruto, don't let anyone tell you to give up your dream. You keep to it and never give up, okay?" I said as my other hand grabs Naruto's hand and held his for a while til I pulled both of their hands together and held it there for a long while til everything went black.
Naruto's P.O.V.
I closed my eyes trying to keep anymore tears from coming down my face when I felt her fingers on mine and Sasuke's hand and she guided our hands together. Then I didn't feel her touching me or Sasuke's hand no more and I opened my eyes again to see her eyes were closed and that her hand had fallen to the ground. I felt this anger go through me as I stared at Sachi.
I looked over at Sasuke and all I could see was him frozen as he looked at Sachi, he if unfroze when he moved his hand towards her neck to check she had a plus but when his hand away and he bent down his head down and his hair was covering his face and then I noticed tears going down his face. I looked back at her and there was no way she could be dead, she was the only one that didn't see me like a monster. Everyone else in the village didn't even pay attention me because of them saying I was a monster. That's the reason why I did so many pranks and annoyed everyone around me so much. I wanted people to see the real me, why is it so hard to get people to know me. She was the one that came over to me and helped me out when no one else would. She decided to be my friend and got to know me even though the people in the village kept telling her to stay away from me she never did. She was there for me when I was in trouble and I was always there for her when she needed it and now, she's dead. I wasn't able to tell her how I really felt or how much she really meant to me. I looked back at Sasuke and I saw him pull Sachi put him and hugged her body close to him and I could hear him saying please don't leave.
I looked at Sasuke and placed my hand on his shoulder, " Sasuke you need to get out of here right now with Sachi."
He looked at me and it looked like he wanted to argue with me at first, but all I did was shook my head no to him and then I looked back at Sachi and followed my glaze, I didn't want anything happening to her body when things get ugly. Sasuke lowered his head and closed his eyes. He walked over to her and picked her up in his arms and then he turns to look at me, " You better not get yourself killed here. Cause I'll never forgive you if you do." Then he ran out of here while I stood in front of him so whatever Haku has planed he won't get Sasuke.
" She was a true ninja. Worthy of honor. She saved you both in the end. Is this the first time you've seen a friend or family member die in battle? This is part of what it means to be a ninja." Haku said as he was right behind me and Sasuke.
" Shut up." I said as I could feel all that anger and sadness building up inside me. I got up to my feet and turned to him.
" I cared for Sachi as a friend, and yet." I trailed off as I could feel my chakra coming back to me but in a big blast that was making me stronger than very before. With all my anger coming to me and bubbling up in one place the air around me started to shift from anger to complete bloodlust and rage.
" You'll pay for this. I'm going to kill you." I said while looking at him. I felt me fingernails getting longer, my teeth get longer and sharper and I'm on all fours. He was going to die, he's going to pay for what he did to Sachi!
Sasuke's P.O.V.
When I finally was out of the mirrors, I fell to my knees in pain still thanks to the needles, but that pain wasn't like the pain I have now in my heart when I looked at Sachi in my arms, placed her down on the ground. Then I felt this very powerful energy near me and turned and all I could see was coming from the mirrors and something told me to get farther away so I grabbed Sachi and moved.
Once I figured I got me and Sachi a good distance away I placed her down on the ground and I looked around me to see if I could find Kakashi Sensei or Sakura, but it was really hard to see in this fog that was around me. I can hear a lot of glass breaking and for some reason I was hearing growling and I was a little worried about Naruto and then I barely could see one figure run away and one following behind and then very went quiet.
I looked back down at Sachi and I knelt down to her and held her in my arms and as I was looking at her, I heard glass breaking and I looked up to where I last saw Naruto and all that noise was coming from and then silence. I was wondering what was going on til I felt arms circle around my shoulders which almost made me drop Sachi. I turned to see who it was, and it was Sakura.
" Sakura, it really hurts when your hugging me." I said as I looked at her over my shoulder.
" Sasuke! Tazuna, he's alive!" She yells as she hugs me even tighter, which hurt me even more.
" Oww, Sakura that hurts!" I said as I strained my voice a little, and I placed Sachi on the ground gently and then I turned to look at Sakura and Tazuna standing right behind me. And I couldn't move my body too much thanks to the needles that stuck out of my body.
" No, what are you doing? You shouldn't be moving." Sakura said as she touches my shoulder.
" Is Naruto okay? And what happened to that guys in the mask? I had to get out of there since Naruto asked me to." I asked as looked at her.
" Naruto's just fine. But, the one in the mask….he's dead." She said as she looks down to the ground.
" He did? But how? Did Naruto do it?" I asked as my eyes went wide.
" I came in late I'm not sure what happened, he protected Zabuza. I had faith in you Sasuke, I knew you'd pull through. You're too cool a guy to stay down for too long." She said with a smile on her face.
" Hey Naruto! I found Sasuke, he's okay!" Sakura called out to Naruto which I turned my head to see Naruto standing there and looked back at me and then he lowered his head to the ground, and I could tell that he was starting to cry again, and I knew why. I stood up, but it felt all the pain of the needles in my body.
" So, where's Sachi?" Sakura asked as she started to look around for my sister and all I did was look back down to the ground. I knelt back down to the ground and Sakura looked over my shoulder to see what I was kneeling in front of and she gasped when she saw Sachi. Sachi still hasn't moved from where I placed her and her eyes was still closed with needles sticking out everywhere, blood all over her face and her clothes, and there was some dried-up blood but there was also still some fresh blood leaking through the bandage that was on her eye. I pulled her up into my arms and cradled her gently. She was so pale, and I couldn't believe that I lost her. For some reason my hand moved on its own and I placed two fingers on her neck desperately trying to find some signs of life.
" Sachi? Wh-What happened to her?" Sakura asked me but I didn't answer as I was trying to find a pulse, she still wasn't showing anything. My heart beat quickened, and I pulled her close to my body. She was still freezing cold and my body shivered but I knew it wasn't my body temperature. I felt a hand touch my shoulder and I just shrugged it off.
" Sasuke?" Sakura said to me as she looked at me.
" Leave me alone." I said as I felt the tears coming to my eyes, it felt like it was burning. The tears were the only thing that was warm out of everything else in my body.
" Please, S-Sasuke." Sakura said.
" I said leave me alone!" I yelled as tears started to come down my face and dripping on her clothes. It felt like I was sitting here for a while and the sun was setting, Naruto came to me to check on me and all I told him to do was to go with the others to bury Haku and Zabuza without me. I heard more footsteps coming over to me and I looked to see who it was, and it was Kakashi sensei and he gasped at what he saw.
Kakashi was with the others burying the others before seeing me and Sachi. I could hear the others was starting to cry behind me but most of them was doing their best to hold back the tears, but it was very hard for them too. As I had closed my eyes to keep the tears from falling, I felt a slight movement in my arms, and I opened my eyes and looked down at Sachi to see the tiniest movement for her and my eyes went wide hoping that what I saw was true. At first there was nothing and I started to lose hope until I saw her chest started to move up and down slowly, if she was any slower, she wouldn't be breathing at all. She's alive, I hugged her tighter to me and smiled lightly as I felt her chest going up and down and I closed my eyes again.
S-Sasuke, I….I can't breathe." I heard Sachi say and I opened my eyes and loosen my hug on her and looked down at her to see her eyes was opened and her smiling at me.
" Hey! She's alive!" Naruto yells running over to her as she turns her head to him, and she smiles at him and I look up to see everyone was very happy to see her alive.
" Let us get back to Tazuna's house and patch up Sachi's wounds." Kakashi said as everyone started to head towards the house. I picked up Sachi bridal style and started to follow them.
" I'm so glade that your alive." I said to her as I held her close.
" Same here. But I'm very glade that you and everyone else is still alive." Sachi said as she leaned her head on my shoulder and closed her eyes and I smiled as I continued to walk towards the house.
When we got to Tazuna's house, we saw all the damage to the house and Naruto told us what happened when we left and why he was late to get there.
" Sasuke, I need you to place Sachi down on the floor so I can inspect the injuries." Kakashi sensei said as I woke her up and help her sit up right on the floor. Kakashi sensei pushed the bangs out of her face and also took off the bandage from her eye and checked on the damage done to her eye.
He opened her eye to see the damage done to it and by the looks of it still bleeding and everything I had a bad feeling that she might not be able to see again.
" Don't worry Sasuke it doesn't look that bad. I'll just rewrap her eye and once we get back to the village, we'll take her to the hospital." Kakashi sensei said as he pulls out another bandage and wraps it around her eye. I nodded my head and I wasn't going to argue about it, and I helped her lay down and we both sent to sleep.
Sachi's P.O.V.
We stood in front of the finally built bridge by Tazuna and his men. Most of the town was waiting there for us as we were leaving to head back to the village. I was feeling much better after that battle and I just couldn't wait to get home. Sasuke was carrying me bridal style to the bridge even though I told him that I was fine, but he wasn't listening as always, him being the protective brother and all.
" We could never have finished the bridge without you, I can't tell you how much we're going to miss you." Tazuna said to us.
" Do be careful." Tazuna's daughter said to us.
" Sachi, I'm very sorry for judging you and saying that you can't fight." Tazuna said as he looked at me.
" Hey don't worry about. You just can't judge someone before getting to know them first okay." I said with a smile on my face and he nodded his head and then a little girl came over to me and my brother.
" Thank you so much one-chan." The little girl said and I looked at my brother and he placed my feet on the ground and I knelt down in front of the little girl and she ran into my arms and I hugged her back and said, " Your very welcome." Then I let her go and she runs back to her mother.
" Thank you for everything." Kakashi sensei said as he waved his hand to them.
" Now now, don't get all chocked up, we'll come back and visit real soon." Naruto said as he gave them all a thumbs up and all I did was shake my head at him with a smile on my face.
" You swear you will?" Inari asked as he looked like he was about to tear up but trying not to at the same time.
" Of course. You know Inari, it's alright to cry if you want. There's nothing wrong with that, go for it." Naruto said with a goofy smile on his face, but I could tell that he was about to cry as well.
" Who says I want to cry? Anyway, if there's nothing wrong with it then why don't you do it if you want to cry?" Inari said as tears were already building up in his eyes.
" No, you first." Naruto said as his eye brow started to twitch and they both argued about who was going to cry first. I looked over at Sasuke and I could tell that it was starting to get on his nerves and I placed my hand on his shoulder and he looked at me and I just shook my head no with a smile on my face and then I looked back at Naruto and Inari.
" Forget it." Naruto said as he turns towards out and starts to cry a river. I just smiled while I knew my brother was calling him a loser in his head.
" I'm going to be walking now Sasuke, so don't worry about carrying me okay. I'm fine." I said to him and right as he was about to stop me, I started to walk on the bridge with the others following behind me and then he caught up to me and walked by my side.
" Haha! As soon as we get back, I'm gonna let Iruka sensei whip me up a whole mess of ramen to celebrate a mission accomplished. Oh! And just wait 'till I tell Konohamaru about all my adventures, the kid's gonna worship me." Naruto said as he threw his hands in the air.
" Hey." Sakura asked.
" Yeah?" Naruto asked as he looked at her.
" Not you Naruto, Saskue when we get back do you wanna go out and do something together?" Sakura asked as she looked over at him ignoring the fact that I was right next to him.
" I don't think so. I need to make sure that Sachi gets her eye checked before anything. But thanks anyway." Sasuke said as he kept his eyes forward and nowhere else.
" I told you Sasuke, I'm fine. But thank you for worrying about me." I said to him as I grabbed his hand and he looked at me and I gave him and smile and then he smiled back at me but then it disappeared, and I knew that smile was only for me and no one else.
" Sakura, I'd do something with you if you wanted." Naruto suggested as he looked at her.
" What? Hey! That was a private conversation! Beat it!" Sakura yelled as she grabbed his shirt and started to shake him around and I was about to stop her, when I smelt something near us and I stopped walking and I noticed that Kakashi sensei noticed it as well and that made the others stop and wondering what was going on till someone jumped down from the trees with his hands up and slowly towards us. I don't know who it is, but I hope they are ready for a fight as I reached for my sword slowly.
I know it's been a while but here is the next chapter and few more characters are going to be add and I'm going to working together with my cuz who is doing a Naruto story as well.
