The beginning of the third chapter is here! Unlike Frost190, I am going to do two duels at the same time. Also, the OC cards will be split into two different groups so we know who came up with them. Just to be clear, I might be using Frost190's card names to help create new accurate cards. So don't be upset.
Slum - Commons Area - New Domino City - Synchro Dimension
Yuya and Yugo, both riding their respective Duel Runners, were heading in the southern direction the Obelisk Force were heading. Going at full speed the moment they saw a light that appeared in the sky. They assumed that it meant that Duel Academy had found Celina and were signaling her location. A few meters from their estimated destination, Yuya saw a familiar friend jumping over the rooftops.
"Sora!"
Yuya's call to him got Sora's attention. Turning toward the voice, he saw Yuya waving his arm for him to see.
"Yuya!" Sora jumped from the rooftop and onto the back of Yuya's Runner.
"Crow told me what's happening. How's Zuzu doing?"
"Don't worry. Moon Shadow took her underground to where the others are. But, nevermind that! I have some really bad news that I just got!" Sora frowned, as he remembered the Professor's newest order.
"Really? What is it?"
"Hey, wait a minute. Who's this guy?" Following Yugo's question, Sora took notice of him and pointed at the familiar-looking face.
"This is Yugo. He is helping us protect Celina and Zuzu. Now, what's the big emergency? We're kind of in a hurry." Yuya said in a hasty tone.
Sora nodded and told them the news. "The Professor just green-lit the invasion of the Synchro Dimension! The army will be here soon to carry it out!" This news shocked and horrified Yuya and Yugo.
"First it was Heartland, now those jerks want to destroy my dimension?! Well, not if I have anything to say about it!"
"This has really turned from bad to worst! We have to find and protect Celina and tell Declan this!" Inwardly, Yuya was panicking. But, he knew he had to try to be calm in this situation. After all, panicking wouldn't help at all.
"Obelisk Force is heading to where that flare was fired! That's where Celina is. After we make sure she's safe, let's head to the Council Building and formulate a plan."
Yugo agreed with Sora's plan. "Sounds good to me! Let's get going!"
With that, the three of them headed to the empty park at high-speed.
Empty Park - Commons Area - New Domino City - Synchro Dimension
Celina and Riley just had defeated the third wave of Obelisk Force, making it nine in total, and things were not looking good. After the defeated Obelisk Force teleported back to Fusion, another squad took their place. The two of them, especially Riley, were running out of stamina. Breathing heavily, their legs felt like they could give out for the exhaustion.
"Moon Shadow... You have to hurry." Celina weakly murmured. Then, she looked at Riley's shaking form. "Riley's mentally close to breaking. While I'm stronger, Riley is close to his limit. I, at least, have to protect him." Celina summarized seeing the exhausted face Riley made.
As Obelisk Force approached them, Riley held his head as he began to hallucinate. His eyes blurred, and saw not Obelisk Force, but the men that traumatized him when he was still in his war-torn home. Suddenly, he couldn't hear anything anymore. His surroundings changed into his ravaged homeland with the men marching toward him, with a tank following them.
"Riley! Don't worry, I'm coming to help!"
Riley gasped as soon as he heard the voice. The air was filled with the sound of Duel Runner engines coming towards them.
"RILEY! CELINA!"
Yuya, Sora, and Sora arrived between the two groups, surprising the Obelisk Force while letting Celina and Riley to let out a sigh of relief.
Riley smiled. "Yuya! Yes!"
"Yuya! And even Yugo too?" Celina gave Yugo a questioning look.
"Hey, what's the problem? I came to help, so you could show a bit of gratitude!" Yugo pouted at Celina's lack of apparent appreciation.
"Forget that for now. We got to kick some Obelisk butt." Sora said as he got off Yuya's Runner.
"Sora, what are you doing here?!" Obelisk Red questioned loudly. Obelisk Green, the one with the green forehead gem, added, "You're supposed to be on our side!"
"Not anymore! There's no way I'm staying with you guys after hearing what you plan to do!" Sora told them as he put a lollipop in his mouth before activating his Duel Disk. "You're not getting Celina!" Yuya declared to the Obelisk Force, as he followed suit in activating his Duel Disk. "You're not going to destroy my dimension without a fight!" Yugo also readied to duel.
Commons Area - New Domino City - Synchro Dimension
Somewhere in the streets of the Commons Area, Damon pushed a manhole cover aside and looked around. Tony and Shinji followed him out after he got out. "All right. So far so easy." Shinji said. Tony agreed with him. "Yeah! Soon we're gonna have this city turned downside up!" "An' the Topsiders will see what it's like t' be bottom feeders!" Damon added. "But first we'll have to find some more recruits." Shinji turned to other Commons emerging from the manhole. "My friends, our time has come! The people of the Commons are gonna take control of New Domino City!" The other Commons were eagerly happy about that. "'Bout time!" "Count me in!"
Hidden from their view, a female black soldier of the Chaos Inquisition saw them emerge and overheard their conversation from a nearby alley. She then radioed her comrades. "TS13, reporting in. I can confirm that BP11's information was accurate. And better news: events are proceeding better than planned."
Somewhere else in New Domino, Moon Shadow came out of a manhole. Once he got out, he helped Chojiro out as well, followed by Gong, Sylvio, Shay, Crow and the three children in Crow's care.
Moon Shadow turned to his teammates and suggested their next course of action. "Let's split up to cover more ground. One will go to aid Celina and Riley, while the other looks for Zuzu."
Crow made his suggestion for the groups. "Then I suggest Shay, you, and me go help Celina. Gong, Sylvio, and Chojiro will search for Zuzu."
"Gong's got no objection!" Gong agreed with the arrangement.
Sylvio, however, protested. "Hold on, who put you in charge?!"
"There's no time for arguing. Let's go!" Ignoring Sylvio's objections, Shay took off with everyone else following suit.
The groups went their respective, separate ways. Sylvio grumbled, but followed with the plan, chasing after Chojiro and Gong who ran ahead of him. Crow was about to leave, but then faced Frank, Amanda, and Tarren, who were worryingly looking at him.
"Listen, we all need to stay alert. For Sector Security rats and Obelisk Force snakes."
"Rats and snakes, got it!" Frank gave Crow a thumbs up for confirmation. "But I have a huge collection of rats and snakes already." Amanda corrected Tarren's misunderstanding. "Just be on the look out for any people who look scary and mean."
"That's the idea. You help us look for Yuya and Zuzu."
"Yessir!" Frank confirmed. "We're on it!" Amanda gave her opinion. "We'll track them all down! If I see any rats or snakes, I'll add 'em to my collection!" Crow was amused by Tarren's answer. "Cool! As long as you make sure they don't collect you instead!"
The children giggled at that, then Crow's face turned serious. "But seriously, you guys, you know how dangerous Sector Security patrols can be. Obelisk Force may be even worse and they're hunting down Celina. Yuya's trying to stop them but it may not be enough. I'll do everything I can to help him send Obelisk Force packing."
Frank raised his fist high. "I'll be dueling beside him!" "Yeah, me three!" Tanner swung his arm in agreement. Amanda flicked Tanner and Frank's foreheads and reprimanded them. "Please, you two jokers don't even have Duel Disks!" Frank clutched his forehead. "Harsh!"
"You guys ready to get rolling?"
"Yeah!" The kids gave their answer in chorus to Crow, and he took off after Shay and Moon Shadow.
Sector Security Headquarters - New Domino City - Synchro Dimension
Just then, Roget learned about the news from the Underground Labor Facility. "What's that? Everyone from the Underground has escaped? Order our reserve units to comb the city for escapees! But we must keep our focus on Obelisk Force!"
"Sir, we've been getting mixed reports. Obelisk troops are scattered throughout the city so much, that we can't seem to get a fixed lock on them. They seem to still be searching for Celina, so they're probably focusing on their search for her!" One of his female staff reported. Roget angrily snarled, "They won't capture Celina or Zuzu!"
Empty Park - Commons Area - New Domino City - Synchro Dimension
Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, Frightfur Bear, and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon attacked Obelisk Force, depleting all of their life points.
"Go back to Duel Academy where you belong!" Yuya shouted to them as they teleported away. Yugo huffed proudly. "Hmph, well that was quick." "We can't let our guard down. More of those guys are coming." Sora reminded the Synchro duelist.
Meanwhile, Yuya hugged the slightly unstable, frightened Riley. "Riley! It's okay. Calm down." And with that, Riley started to calm down. After he had calmed down, Yuya placed both his hands on Riley's shoulders. "How did you wind up down here?"
"Riley saved me after I was ambushed by Sector Security. They tried to take me to Roget." Celina explained as she fell on her knees, as her legs reached their limit.
"Really?" Asked Yugo.
"Luckily, Riley saved the day. It was three on one. It could've been ten on one, but that wouldn't have been enough to stop Riley." Celina smiled a little at the young boy who had saved her.
Yuya smiled at Riley. "Whoa, that's amazing! Wish I could've seen it."
Yugo then patted the boy's head. "Not bad!"
Due to not being familiar with Yugo, Riley stiffened and leaned closer to Yuya while sheepishly glancing at Yugo.
Noticing Riley's reaction to his pat, Yugo asked, "Um, did I do something wrong?"
"Don't worry. He's just a little shy. He'll get used to you." Yuya assured him before turning to Celina. "Are you alright?"
Celina nodded. "I'll be okay. I just need to rest a bit. But..." Staring suspiciously at Sora, she inquired, "What's he doing here? Did you forget that he beat up Shay and tried to take me too?"
"Chill. I'm here to help, not bring you back to the Academy." Sora explained. "You mean like you tried to help me before?" "You really got to let go of grudges Celina, it can only totally stress you out - maybe that's why you're queasy. Anyway, I've changed."
Still suspicious of Sora, Celina asked harshly, "Changed how?"
Answering in an embarrassed tone, Sora gave his resolution. "I'm not really cut out for this touchy-feely stuff, so all you need to know is... We're on the same side now!"
"Why would anyone willingly choose the losing side?" The new voice was concluded with giggling.
Hearing the familiar voice, Yugo and Sora quickly turned around toward its source. From a nearby tree's shadow, Yuri emerged with his hands behind his back, sporting his usual smirk and giving them a condescending look. A squad of the Chaos Inquisition followed behind him.
"YURI?!" Sora exclaimed in shock.
"There you are, you snake!" Yugo gritted his teeth at his hated enemy.
A surprised Yuya looked at Sora and Yugo and then to Yuri. "He really does look just like us... if we were up to no good!"
Facing a confused Sora, Yuri explained while chuckling playfully. "Me and Madame Chaos were suspicious of your behavior, so she ordered me to follow you instead of going to the location you gave me.
And you do remember what I told you about misbehaving miscreants, right Sora?" Yuri motioned the Chaos Inquisition behind him, and they activated their Duel Disks.
Licking his lips, Yuri declared in a singsong tone, "It's punishment time."
"Hold it!" Yugo stepped in front of Sora and pointed at Yuri. "You're not getting away this time! I have a score to settle with you!"
"And who are you again?" Yuri asked with a frown.
"You know who I am! Don't play dumb!"
Smiling at Yugo's angry expression, Yuri continued, "If what I heard is true, it's a name more suited to a dog, correct? Good evening "Pogo"."
"I'm no one's dog! The name's Yugo!" Yugo angrily answered to the insult.
Yuri and the Chaos Inquisition laughed at the scene. "Of course you're no dog. Dogs are brighter."
"Ya think your funny?" I'll duel that smile off ya! That's what you get for taking RinRin!"
Yuri answered calmly, eyes closed, "You can't lay all the blame on me. I was following a direct order from higher up the food chain."
"Well, you shoulda cancelled that order! You aren't getting Celina without beating me first!"
"What the Professor wants, the Professor gets." Yuri smiled wickedly at Yugo. "But I suppose I should get you out of my way before you become a bigger nuisance."
Motioning to the Chaos Inquisition, Yuri said, "You can have the others, but Celina is mine."
"Yes sir!" The Chaos Inquisition replied.
"Yuya, I'll take care of this creep. You protect Celina and Riley." Yugo told the dueltainer behind him.
"Alright, be careful Yugo!" Yuya and Sora faced the Chaos Inquisition, both sides with their Duel Disks readied.
"Yuya, be careful. These guys are part of the Chaos Inquisition. Their specialty is doing stealth, spy, and tougher jobs that Obelisk Force can't do. These guys in particular, are the foot soldiers, the Buster Brigadiers." Sora explained the new foes they were up against.
"Don't worry, Sora. I know we can handle them if we work together." Yuya voiced his confidence.
And so Sora and Yuya activated their Duel Disks. The Buster Brigadiers followed suit and brandished their Duel Disks' dark blue blades.
GENERATING ACTION FIELD: CROSSOVER
[Let's duel!]
"I'll go first!" Sora drew a card. "From my hand, I summon Fluffal Bear(ATK: 1200/DEF: 800/LV: 3)! It can't "bear" to be alone, so here's a pair Fluffal Sheep(ATK: 400/DEF: 800/LV: 2) to join it!" Fluffal Bear appeared as Sora made his declaration and was followed by two Fluffal Sheep in Defense Mode.
"Next, by sending a Fluffal monster to the graveyard, I can activate Fluffal Draw to draw two new cards!" Sora sent Fluffal Leo(ATK: 1600/DEF: 1200/LV: 4) to the graveyard and drew two cards from his deck.
"I'll end my turn." Sora ended his turn with one facedown card.
"I draw! I set the Pendulum Scale with Scale 1 Stargazer Magician(ATK: 1200/DEF: 2400/LV: 5/PS: 1) and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician(ATK: 1200/DEF: 600/LV: 3/PS: 8)! I'm taking control of this duel, starting now!"
The word "PENDULUM" appeared in rainbow colors on Yuya's Duel Disk's blade as Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician took their respective places and an enlarged version of his pendant appeared dangling in between them.
"I'm allowed to summon monsters between levels 2 and 7, all at the same time. Swing far pendulum. Carve the arc of victory!" The enlarged pendant swung between the two magicians as Yuya shouted. "My monsters are ready to swing into action!" Raising his right hand toward a portal between the Pendulum Zones, Yuya's monsters came out in various colored light steaks.
"Drum it up, Performapal Drummerilla(ATK: 1600/DEF: 900/LV: 5/PS: 2)! Scratch your way to victory, Perfomrapal Silver Claw(ATK: 1800/DEF: 700/ LV: 4/PS: 5)! Turn up the heat Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon(ATK: 2500/DEF: 2000/LV: 7/PS: 4)!" The three monsters arrived on Yuya's field.
"So that's the Pendulum Summon we've been hearing about..." One of the Chaos Inquisition members, Brigadier 1, muttered.
The Buster Brigadier to the left of him, Brigadier 2, added. "It's as effective, if not dangerous, as the rumors say it is."
"Don't worry." The Buster Brigadier on the right, Brigadier 3, assured his teammates. "I got us covered, with Chaos Hunter(ATK: 2500/DEF: 1600/LV: 7)'s special ability! Because Pendulum Summoning counts as special summoning, I can summon him to the field by discarding a card!" Brigadier 3 sent Buster Blader(ATK: 2600/DEF: 2300/LV: 7) to the graveyard and brought Chaos Hunter to the field.
"I set two cards facedown and end my turn."
Brigadier 1 drew a card. "It's my turn! From my hand, I activate the spell, Emblem of Dragon Destroyer! This allows me to add the Buster Blader in my deck to my hand!" Brigadier 1 revealed as he drew the monster from his deck.
"Summoning a dragon was a big mistake! 'Cause I activate Polymerization, to fuse Buster Blader with Buster Whelp of the Destruction Swordsman(ATK: 400/DEF: 300/LV: 1)! Tremble as the mighty slayer, gains the devastating power of dragons!" The two monsters entered the Fusion Vortex. "I Fusion Summon! Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman(ATK: 2800/DEF: 2500/LV: 8)!" From the blue and orange vortex emerged an evolved Buster Blader.
"Dragon Destroyer gains 1000 attack points thanks to your Odd-Eyes, switches your dragon into Defense Mode, and it can't activate its abilities anymore." Odd-Eyes was switched into Defense Mode while Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman gained attack points.

"Say what?! That's not good!" Yuya exclaimed.
"No, no it isn't. Dragon Destroyer Swordsman, slash one of that traitor's little lambs!" Pointing toward Sora's monsters, Brigadier ordered his monster to attack. Dragon Destroyer Swordsman charged toward Fluffal Sheep; blade raised. "And even if your monster is in Defense Mode, it still deals you damage!"
Sora dashed for a nearby Action Card and activated it. "I play the Action Spell, Damage Banish! So I don't receive any damage." Although he lost one of his sheep, Sora didn't take any damage from the attack.
"Lucky move. I end my turn." Brigadier 1 grunted.
Brigadier 2 started his turn and drew a card as he said, "Luck won't save them. 'Cause I summon Skilled White Magician(ATK: 1700/DEF: 1900/LV: 4)." The Spellcaster appeared on the field.
"Then I'll activate the spell Monster Reborn to bring back your sheep from your graveyard." Fluffal Sheep returned to the field. "And because I activated a spell, my magician gains a spell counter."

"But it won't be around for long. Because I tribute your lamb to summon Chaos Command Magician(ATK: 2400/DEF: 1900/LV: 6)." The black Spellcaster replaced the sheep. "Then I place one card facedown."
"Chaos Command! Destroy that silly stuffed bear!" Brigadier 2 ordered his magician to attack Fluffal Bear. This time, it dealt Sora damage.
SORA LP: 4000 = 2800
"I'm not done yet, you treasonous scum! Skilled White Magician, destroy his last critter!" And with that, White Magician wiped out Sora's last remaining monster.
"I think we've done enough damage to the traitor, for now at least. Why don't you work on his friend?" Brigadier 2 suggested to Brigadier 3.
Brigadier 3 drew a card and agreed. "It would be a pleasure.
And just like before, I'll play Polymerization to fuse Buster Blader with my Black Dragon Collapserpent(ATK: 1800/DEF: 1700/LV: 4)." The two monsters entered the Fusion Vortex. "You'll be seeing double as I'm adding another Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman to our ranks! And just like before, it gains 1000 attack points because of your dragon."

"Thanks to my teammate playing Polymerization, my Magician gets another counter!" Brigadier 2 told Yuya and Sora.

"Next I'll place two cards facedown, and have my Blader wipe out your Drummerilla! Attack!" Dragon Destroyer Swordsman charged, blade ready, at Yuya's monster.
"I activate Drummerilla's ability! It can drum up 600 attack points for itself." Yuya quickly used his monster's special ability to reduce the damage. Picking up an Action Card, Yuya used it right away. "I also play the Action Spell, Tenacity, to protect my Drummerilla from destruction."

"You may have escaped that attack's heavy causalities. But it's not over yet! Chaos Hunter! You beat on that drumming ape too!" Chaos Hunter lashed its whip in a sinisterly gleeful manner.

Meanwhile, some distance away from Yuya and Sora's duel with the Chaos Inquisition, Yugo and Yuri were getting on their duel. Yugo was still on his Runner and prepared to duel.
"You've reached the end of the road, you punk!" Yugo angrily retorted.
"I think you meant to say the end of your road, silly." Yuri teasingly corrected. "After all, your odds of winning are zero."
"Well, I like those odds! Wait, that doesn't make sense but I'm gonna beat you anyway!"
Looking away from Yugo with an annoyed face, Yuri said, mostly himself, "I can't believe I have to duel this moron..."
"Oh, you'd better believe it! This moron's ready to fight!" With that, Yugo activated his Duel Disk, and Yuri followed suit.
[Let's duel!]
"I'll be the first to go. And I'll use this card! When I have no monsters on my field yet, I can play Speedroid Terrortop(ATK: 1200/DEF: 600/LV: 3)" Yugo summoned his monster that looked like a chain of 13 tops, with the front one having two blades on its side. "And that's not all! I summon Speedroid Den-Den Daiko Duke(ATK: 1000/DEF: 1000/LV: 3).
I tune Level 3 Den-Den Daiko Duke with Level 3 Terrortop!" Daiko Duke then turned into three lights that became rings around Terrortop. A light shone through them as the summoning commenced.
"I Synchro Summon... Hi-Speedroid Kendama(ATK: 2200/DEF: 1600/LV: 6)!" Yugo summoned his kendama-like monster to the field.
Yuri eagerly smiled and commented on Yugo's quick summoning. "Well, well. A Synchro Summon right off the bat, you must really be itching for a fight."
Yugo pointed at Yuri furiously. "I am, and you're going to feel the burn! 'Cause by banishing a Speedroid from my graveyard, I can activate Kendama's special ability, and deal you 500 points of damage!" Yugo banished Terrortop from his graveyard and dealt 500 points of damage to Yuri, via a blue beam.
YURI LP: 4000 = 3500
"How's that for being aggressive?" Yugo ended his turn by placing two facedowns.
Yuri giggled in response. "Not bad, not bad at all." Yuri narrowed his eyes and drew a card. "But that's not good enough! I think I'll use Polymerization to fuse Predaplant Fly Trap(ATK: 400/DEF: 800/LV: 2) and Evil Thorn(ATK: 100/DEF: 300/LV: 1) together! By crafting these two ravenous plants together, I'll create a botanical nightmare!" The two monsters entered the orange and blue vortex as Yuri clapped his hands together. "I Fusion Summon... Predaplant Chimerafflesia(ATK: 2500/DEF: 2000/LV: 7)!" The rafflesia-like fusion monster emerged, its vines' mucus dripping mouths snapping wildly at Kendama. The sight of the monster unnerved Yugo.
"It's feeding time!" Yuri said in a singsong tone while pointing to Hi-Speedroid Kendama. "Chimerafflesia, devour that Kendama!" Chimerafflesia's vines lashed out at Kendama, mouths open wide. "And now its special ability activates! When my Predaplant battles, it steals 1000 of your monster's attack points! Vine Cravings!"

"Don't think so! I activate the trap, Burning Sonic! Not only does it stop your freaky plant, but Hi-Speedroid Kendama also gains 500 attack points!"

Yuri held his chin with two fingers while still smiling. "Not bad, Pogo. Perhaps I'll have to reevaluate my assessment about you." Yuri set two facedowns and ended his turn.
Predaplant Chimerafflesia(ATK: 3500 = 2500/DEF: 2000/LV: 7)
Hi-Speedroid Kendama(ATK: 1700 = 2700/DEF: 1600/LV: 6)
"You got that right. And stop calling me that! The name's Yugo! And I'm gonna be the one to wipe that grin off your face!" Yugo angrily yelled as he drew a card.
"And to help get me started, I activate Speedroid Scratch! By sending Speedroid Razorang to the graveyard from my hand, I can add a Speedroid from my deck to my hand." Yugo looked and smiled at the new monster he had had just gotten, then turned to Yuri.
"Now, I summon Speedroid Pachingo-Kart(ATK: 1800/DEF: 1400/LV: 4). And because I summoned it, I can destroy your overgrown begonia thanks to its special ability!" Right after Yugo declared his Speedroid's effect, Chimerafflesia was destroyed.
"Now Hi-Speedroid Kendama can attack you directly!" Kendama blasted multiple blue beams of energy at Yuri, forcing the fusion duelist on the defensive by covering himself with his Duel Disk arm. After the bombardment was over, Yuri let his arm down but still had his smirk as if nothing happened.

"That actually hurt. But I guess it was expected of a brash moron."
Yugo huffed, "If you think that was harsh, you've seen nothing yet!"
Back at Yuya and Sora's duel, Sora had just started his turn.
Sora saw the card he just drew and smiled. "I draw! And I summon Edge Imp Sabres(ATK: 1200/DEF: 800/LV: 3)." Edge Imp Sabres appeared on Sora's field with a snip, snip.
"Then I'll activate my Suture Rebirth to bring back my Fluffal Bear from my graveyard!
Finally, I'll activate my sweet Polymerization!" Sora showed his spell to the Chaos Inquisition. "With it, I'll fuse my Fluffal Bear with Edge Imp Sabres. Edge of sharpness and fury of bear! When the two come together, you had better beware!" Sora chanted while bringing his hands together. "I Fusion Summon... Frightfur Bear(ATK: 2200/DEF: 1800/LV: 6)!" The terrifying teddy with scissors jutting from its belly appeared on the field.
"Thanks for that, Sora! Now my Skilled White Magician has 3 counters."

"Yeah, but not for long! Attack that magician with Pummeling Paw!" Sora ordered his Bear to attack Brigadier 2's monster.
"Not so fast! I activate Negate Attack, to halt your toy in its tracks!" Brigadier 2 revealed his facedown, making Frightfur Bear brake hard before returning to Sora's side.
Sora gritted his lollipop. "Then I guess I'll place two cards facedown and end my turn."
"Don't worry, Sora! I got this!" Yuya proclaimed as he drew a card.
Looking at the card he drew for a second, Yuya proceeded to Pendulum Summon. "Because I already set the Pendulum Scale, my monsters can swing into action again!" A light came out of the portal between the Pendulum Zones as Yuya raised his hand to it. "Snap to it, Performapal Whip Snake(ATK: 1700/DEF: 900/LV: 4)!
Now I can overlay my Level 4 Whip Snake and Silver Claw!" The two beasts turned into brown and purple energies, respectively, and entered the Overlay Network.
"Cloaked in shadows and relentless in its objective, I call upon the most dangerous of dragons! I Xyz Summon! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon(ATK: 2500/DEF: 2000/RK: 4/OU: 2)!" With a mighty roar, Yuto's ace monster emerged.
"You fool! Our Swordsmen gain 1000 attack points per dragon! So, why would you summon one?!"

"The point was this!" Raising his right hand to Dark Rebellion, Yuya explained its effect. "By using both of its overlay units, Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon cuts your two monsters' attack points in half, and then Dark Rebellion gains those attack points!" Dark Rebellion's wings charged up and shot purple lightning at the two warriors, gaining half of each of their attack points.

"Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon, attack Destroyer Swordsman! Mauling Mandible Charge!" With that, Dark Rebellion's chin blade glowed and the dragon took off and stabbed Brigadier 1's Dragon Destroyer Swordsman. The explosion sent Brigadier 1 flying and screaming, and he was sent back to Fusion as soon as he landed.

"Alright Drummerilla, drum up some extra attack points for Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon." Drummerilla beat its arms on its chest and increased Odd-Eyes' attack points.

"Now Odd-Eyes! Finish off that last Swordsman! With Spiral Flame Strike! And because your monster's a Level 8, Odd-Eyes can deal you double the damage!" Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon fired a stream of fire as its orbs grew bright, destroying the warrior.
"You mean I get hit with 1400 points of damage instead of 700?!" Brigadier 3 questioned in shock, just before the attack connected.

"I'll set one card facedown and end my turn." With Yuya's turn over, Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon's attack points returned to normal.

"This kid's getting on my nerves! But he'll regret not having another monster to attack me!" Brigadier 2 told his partner as he drew a card.
"No arguments there."
"To start, I'll activate Skilled White Magician's special ability. Since it has three spell counters, I can tribute it to summon one Buster Blader!" With that, Brigadier 2 tributed his White Magician and summoned a Buster Blader from his deck.
"Next, my magician will pull off a disappearing act thanks to the spell Tribute Doll to bring out Buster Blader's more destructive form!" "What?!" Yuya exclaimed. "So say hello to Buster Blader, the Destruction Swordmaster(ATK: 2600/DEF: 2300/LV: 7)!" A sleeker version of Buster Blader appeared on the field in Chaos Command Magician's place.
"Now that that's done, I'll play The Dark - Hex-Sealed Fusion(ATK: 1000/DEF: 1600/LV: 3)." The glob of tentacles, flesh, and machine appeared on the field. "I activate The Dark's special ability, which means I can summon a DARK fusion monster using it and another monster on my field without Polymerization!"
"No!"
"Yes, kid!" Brigadier 2 replied to Yuya's panic. "So now I fuse The Dark with my Buster Blader! Darkness unlimited, grant the mighty warrior your wicked magics! I Fusion Summon! Dark Paladin(ATK: 2900/DEF: 2400/LV: 8)!" The dark sword-wielding Spellcaster appeared from the vortex that The Dark and Buster Blader had entered.
Brigadier 2 explained his new monster's ability. "For every dragon on the field and in the graveyard, my paladin gains 500 attack points!"

"I'll help power it up by activating DNA Surgery, turning every monster on the field into a dragon!" Brigadier 3 revealed one of his facedowns, powering up Dark Paladin even more.

From underneath his full helmet, Brigadier 2 smiled sinisterly. "Now for some sweet ironic pain! Dark Paladin, crush that drumming primate! Dark Magic Dragon Sword!" Dark Paladin swung its blade and shot a dark energy slash at Drummerilla.
Yuya picked a card from his hand and showed it. "I'm pulling a bit of a magic act myself! 'Cause my Performapal Odd-Eyes Dissolver(ATK: 2000/DEF: 2600/LV: 8/PS: 4) can protect Drummerilla and reduce my battle damage to zero!" Odd-Eyes Dissolver swirled his staff in front of Drummerilla, preventing its destruction and reducing Yuya's battle damage to nil. This caused the Chaos Inquisition to click their tongues, while Sora gave Yuya a thumbs up, laughing.
"But that's not all! He also gets to stick around, negate your paladin's special abilities, and as a bonus, he can't be destroyed in battle this turn!"

"I really am starting to hate this guy." Groaned Brigadier 2. "Oh well, I guess I'll take my anger out on the traitor this time! Destruction Swordsmaster, cut Frightfur Bear into toy stuffing!" Buster Blader, the Destruction Swordmaster quickly ran towards Frightfur Bear, and instantly sliced it into oblivion.

"And here's some irony for you Sora! When my Swordmaster is on the field and your monsters are destroyed and sent to the graveyard, I get to use one of those destroyed monsters as an Equip Spell." Frightfur Bear then was equipped to Buster Blader, the Destruction Swordmaster, much to Sora's surprise and horror.
"I'm through with you for now."
"So it's my turn now!" Brigadier 3 claimed as he drew a card.
"I'm gonna activate my spell, Monster Reborn, in order to bring my Dragon Destroyer Swordsman back!" Brigadier 3's monster appeared from the Graveyard Portal. "And since DNA Surgery is still active, it gains 1000 attack points for each of your monsters!"

"Well, I'm not going to be an easy target! I play the trap, Designer Frightfur, to summon my Fluffal Bear to protect me." Sora activated one of his facedowns, and brought Fluffal Bear back. Even though it gave Dragon Destroyer Swordsman another 1000 attack points.

"It will only be sent back, because I activate the trap card Destruction Devastation Slash!" Brigadier 3 revealed his final facedown. "By equipping this card on my swordsman, I get to attack all your monsters!
Go my swordsman! Annihilate them!"
Yuya grabbed an Action Card and activated it. "Sorry, but thanks to the Action Spell, Illusion Dance, your monsters are stuck in Defense Mode until the end of the turn!"
"Blast! I end my turn, but it's only a matter of time before you fall!"
Back to Yuri and Yugo's duel, Yuri had just drawn a card and activated it. "I activate the spell, Predapotion to increase my life points by 1000."

"Then I'll activate Re-Fusion. For the cost of 800 life points, I can resummon Predaplant Chimerafflesia." Chimerafflesia rose from the Graveyard Portal.

"And since I activated Predapotion this turn, I can activate Strengthening Seeds, to strengthen my Predaplant Chimerafflesia's attack points to the amount of life points I gained!" Yuri declared with his wicked smile.

"We'll see about that..." Yuri said in response to Yugo's statement. "Chimerafflesia, sink your fangs into Speedroid Pachingo-Kart! And just like before, my Predaplant steals 1000 of your monster's attack points. Vine Cravings!"

Chimerafflesia's vines dragged Pachingo-Kart to its main body's mouth and devoured the Speedroid, effectively destroying it.

"Thanks for the snack." Yuri smiled with mocking pity as he ended his turn. "Looks like the tables have turned, doesn't it?"

"Don't get so cocky, you snake!" Yugo told the fusion duelist as he drew a card. "I summon Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice(ATK: 100/DEF: 100/LV: 1)!" The dice monster appeared on the field.
"Then I activate the spell, Synchro Drain! And equip it to Hi-Speedroid Kendama, giving it 700 attack points."

"Hi-Speedroid Kendama, attack Predaplant Chimerafflesia! Thanks to Synchro Drain, your floral freak can't activate its special abilities anymore!" Kendama blasted Yuri's fusion monster to pieces with its blue lasers.

"And thanks to Synchro Drain's last effect, I gain double the life points you just lost!"
YUGO LP: 500 = 2300
"I end my turn. And that means my monster loses the 700 attack points it gained this turn." Yugo said reluctantly.
Hi-Speedroid Kendama(ATK: 3400 = 2700/DEF: 1600/LV: 6)
"Not bad, not bad at all. But it has only gotten worse for you."
"Yeah, right! It's only gotten worse for you!" Yugo retorted to the apparent bluff from Yuri.
"We'll see about that. It's my turn. I draw!" Yuri smiled at the card he just drew. "I should thank you for helping me, Yugo. Because by destroying my monster thru battle, I can add Polymerization from my deck to my hand now." Yuri added Polymerization to his hand as he was saying this.
"First, I'll activate my spell, Predaponics, so I can bring my Predaplant Fly Trap back from the graveyard." Fly Trap returned to the field.
"And joining it, will be my Predaplant Moray Nepenthes(ATK: 1600/DEF: 1000/LV: 4)." Moray Nepenthes appeared right beside Fly Trap.
"Next, Fly Trap will activate its special ability, giving your Red-Eyed Dice a Predator Counter." A light-green seed with sharp teeth attached itself to Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice by biting it. Wondering about the Counter, Yugo glanced back at Yuri and noticed he was smiling like a little kid who just won something.
Yuri confirmed Yugo's bad feeling by revealing a spell card he was about to play. "I now activate Polymerization to fuse my two voracious Predaplants together! Together, they'll bring out the most toxic monster ever seen!" The two Predaplant monsters entered the Fusion Vortex as Yuri began his chant. "You'll never look at greenery the same way again! I Fusion Summon! The vicious, voracious, and venomous... Starving Venom Fusion Dragon(ATK: 2800/DEF: 2000/LV: 8)!" Starving Venom appeared with its many mouths opening and dripping with mucus.
"What? Another one?!" Celina was shocked.
The sight of Starving Venom Fusion Dragon and its snarling, mucus-filled mouths scared Riley, who could only moan in fear, eyes shaking. Even Yugo was slightly unnerved by the dragon's horrifying appearance.
"Scary, isn't it? Well trust when I say, it's going to get a lot worse." Yuri smiled wickedly at not only Yugo, but also Celina and Riley. "You see, it preys on all of your monsters. Feasting on their attack points to increase its own!"
"Say what?!" Yugo exclaimed.
"If I gains that much power..."
"There's no way of stopping that thing!" Riley finished Celina's sentence.
"Insatiable Hunger!" Following Yuri's command, Starving Venom Fusion Dragon's four mouths on its hips and shoulder blades opened wide and devoured pinkish-purple energies as its attack points increased.

Yugo tried to remain calm and reassured himself. "Good thing I have Burning Sonic. Because that's his only monster, his attack won't work."
Yuri snickered. "Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, strike down Hi-Speedroid Kendama at lightspeed! Toxic Roots Blast!" Starving Venom flexed, and from its shoulder blades, reddish-purple energies took the shape of cellular-shaped wings. A light gathered in-between them, and outshot purple twisting streams surrounding the light beam heading towards Kendama.
The attack didn't hit Kendama, since Yugo activated Burning Sonic. "Did you forget that Burning Sonic can stop your attack?!"
"Yes, but that works only once per turn, right?" Yuri said, wickedly smiling. "By sending Predaplant Squid Drosera(ATK: 800/DEF: 400/LV: 2) from my hand to the graveyard..." Yuri sent Squid Drosera to the graveyard as he talked. "My dragon must attack every monster that has a Predator Counter!"
"What?!"
"But believe me, it needs no coaxing." Starving Venom Fusion Dragon then lashed its tail, right at Red-Eyed Dice.
Back at Yuya and Sora's duel, the two boys were trying to think of a way to beat the Chaos Inquisition's overly powerful warrior and trap combo.
"Sora, we have got to find a way to destroy that trap card." Yuya grimaced.
"I know!" Sora told Yuya as he drew a card. Looking at it, Sora smiled. "I summon Edge Imp Frightfuloid(ATK: 1300/DEF: 1300/LV: 4)! And then I'll activate my spell, Frightfur Substitute! I can use this to help me summon a Frightfur fusion monster. So... I fuse Fluffal Bear and Edge Imp Frightfuloid with Frightfur Substitute! Fury of bear, stuffing of pain... when they come together, victory is attained! Make way for my mighty mash-up! I Fusion Summon! Here comes the hairy... scary... bear-y... Frightfur Chimera(ATK: 2800/DEF: 2000/LV: 8)!" With a sinister laugh, Frightfur Chimera appeared.
"Alright, Frightfur Chimera! Attack Buster Blader, the Destruction Swordmaster!" Frightfur Chimera launched a missile from its teddy bear head, destroying the Destruction Swordmaster.

"But it won't be gone for long! My Chimera's special ability lets me summon the monster I just destroyed onto my field! Looks like it would rather side with me than you!" Buster Blader, the Destruction Swordmaster appeared on Sora's field to the right of Chimera.

"This is a catastrophe!"
"With another monster frolicking on my field, I can wage another attack! Destruction Swordmaster, slice that Chaos Hunter to ribbons!" Destruction Swordmaster unsheathed its blade at Chaos Hunter, who could only futilely lash its whip at the incoming warrior. Then just like that, the hunter was vanquished and equipped to the victor.

"Alright, Yuya. I'll let you take it from here."
"Thanks, Sora! I won't disappoint you!" Yuya smiled at Sora and drew a card. The card was Tuning Magician(ATK: 0/DEF: 0/LV: 1), giving Yuya an idea.
"First, using my Pendulum Scale, I'll have my monsters swing into action once again! Nice to see you Performapal Silver Claw! It's go time, Timebreaker Magician(ATK: 1400/DEF: 0/LV: 3/PS: 2)!" The monsters appeared on Yuya's field, all ready to fight. "And finally, I'll summon Tuning Magician!" Tuning Magician was summoned, laughing happily.

"Tuning Magician will let you gain 400 life points, while I lose 400 life points because I summoned him."

The move perplexed the Buster Brigadiers. "What is he thinking? That just put 'em in more danger." Brigadier 2 asked Brigadier 3 who just shrugged.
"Tuning Magician tunes Silver Claw and Timebreaker Magician! I Synchro Summon! Welcome to the battlefield, Enlightenment Paladin(ATK: 2500/DEF: 2000/LV: 8)!"

"So, you went to all that trouble for a synchro monster with lower attack points than my swordsman? Even if you power up with your ape's ability, my monster still has more attack points!"
Yuya then ran and got an Action Card that was nearby. "Yeah, I know. Which is why I activate Quick Guard! It switches your monster to Defense Mode!" Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman knelt as he was forced into Defense Mode.
"Curse you."
While this was going on, Yuri's Starving Venom's tail just struck Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice. Before the explosion of his monster's destruction could blow him off his Runner, Yugo activated a card from his hand. "I activate Speed Survival! When my life points would be reduced to zero due to an attack, I can send this card to the graveyard and retain 200 life points!"
YUGO LP: 2300 = 200
Taking the monster he drew last turn, Yugo revealed it. "Since I took damage, I can summon this bad boy from my hand, Speedroid Gum Prize(ATK: 0/DEF: 800/LV: 1)!" Gum Prize unfolded from its gum stick dispenser form to humanoid form as it was summoned in Defense Mode. "And now I tune Level 1 Speedroid Gum Prize with Level 6 Hi-Speedroid Kendama! Beat your wings to whip up a whirlwind of destruction! I Synchro Summon! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon(ATK: 2500/DEF: 2000/LV: 7)!" Before Yugo or Yuri could declare a move, they were stopped as if they were in a trance. All the while, their dragons were roaring.
"Alright Enlightenment Paladin, let's - " Yuya also froze before he could give an order to his monsters, as Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon started roaring. As Sora called Yuya's name multiple times, each time becoming more worried and frantic, a thick black aura covered the three nearly identical boys. Even Yuto, who was inside Yuya, was affected. Their eyes then suddenly glowed; Yuya's red, Yuto's blue, Yugo's green, and Yuri's purple. In the sky, a huge hole appeared with lightning swirling around it.
Celina was noticed that her bracelet was glowing as all this happened. She knew something wasn't right.

Predabridge(Counter Trap): If a card targets a Predaplant monster you control, negate all traps on the field until the end of the turn.
Synchro Drain(Equip Spell): Equip only on a synchro monster. The equipped monster gains 700 attack points until the End Phase. During the Battle Phase, negate the effects of your opponent's monster. If you successfully destroyed that monster, then gain life points equal to double of the life points your opponent lost.
Speed Survival(Normal Trap): If you receive damage that would reduce your life points to zero, discard this trap, and gain 200 life points after damage calculation.

Frightfur Substitute(Normal Spell): You can activate this spell, and special summon one Frightfur monster using this card as fusion material, along with monsters on your field.
