Chapter 19: Memories From The Past
Sachi woke up to the sound of birds chriping from outside and as she starts to open her eyes and she looked around her room and I noticed the Sasuke wasn't in her room anymore.
' Looks like my brother either went for a walk or he went to go practice his Jutsu.' Sachi though as she pulled the covers off her and she rolls her legs over the side of the bed. She got up and goes over to her closet and started to get dressed for the day.
After she rewrapped her left eye, she went straight towards the front door and opened it and went outside and locked the door right behind her. She started to walk around the village, when she saw Hinata walking towards her along with Kiba right next to her side.
" Hinata, Kiba! Hey!" Sachi said as she ran over to them.
Hintat and Kiba looked up to see Scahi running over to them. Hinata smiled when she saw her and Kiba waved at her with a little smile on his face .
" Hi Sachi, how are you doing?" Hinata asked Sachi.
" I'm doing okay. I helped Asura and his team in their training, so their sensei know how they fight and to see how they fight together." Sachi said as she scratched the back of her head.
" Well, how did that go?" Kiba asked as Akamaru jumped off his head and landed on the ground and ran overto Sachi. She knelt down to the ground and picked him up in her arms and he starts to lick her cheek.
" It went okay at first till both Asura and Asuka knocked each other out." Sachi said as she looks up at Kiba and Hinata while she was petting Akamaru's head.
" How is your eye?" Hinata asked as she pointed towards Sachi's eye. Sachi lowered her eyes towards Akamaru and continued to pet his head.
" Well, good news and bad news. The good news is that I can still be a Ninja but the bad news is that my left eye won't be able to heal and I won't be see with it." Sachi said as she sadly looked back towards them. Hinata gasped at the news and Kiba gave Sachi a concerned look in his eyes.
" I hope your going to be okay during the Chunin Exams." Hinata said, which made Sachi look right at her confused.
" Wait what?" Sachi asked as she looked between them.
" Yea, the Chunin Exams are around the corner. Didn't your sensei tell you guys all ready?" Kiba asked as he rose his eyebrow in qquestion
" He'll probably tell us sometime today." Sachi said as she placed Akamaru on the ground and he turns back to her and starts to wage his tail.
" He really like you doesn't he?" Hinata asked as she giggled at Akamaru.
" Yea. Did Kiba ever tell you how we met?" Sachi asked as she looks back at Hinata and then over to Kiba who started to blush and look away, which made her giggle a little bit.
" No. He never did." Hinata said as she looks over at Kiba who started to scratch the back of his head.
" I was walking around the woods and that was when I found poor Akamaru in the woods injured." Sachi said as she looked up towards the sky as she thought of the memory.
* Flashback*
Little Sachi walked around the woods picking flowers, she stopped in place when she heard something move in the bushes on her right.
She was about to run home till a small white dog limping on it's left leg out of the bushes. Sachi dropped her flowers and ran over to the dog, " Poor little guy. Let's get you home and see if my brother can help you" Sachi said as she slowly picked up the dog in her arms and headed towards home. ( during this time the Uchiha Clan was slaughtered and it's only Sasuke and Sachi).
As she opens the door and found her brother sitting in the living room. Sasuke looks over when he heard the door open and noticed that Sachi had a little dog in her arm's and he gets up off the couch and goes over to her," What happened?" Sasuke asked as he took the little dog from her arms and placed the dog on the table and starts to check to see what was wrong till he saw it's left leg.
" I was just walking around the woods picking flowers when I heard a noise in the bushes that was on my right. I was about to run back here till the little dog came out hurt. So I thought that if I brought him here you could help him." Sachi said as she watched him help the dog.
" Is he okay?" Sachi asked once she noticed that he was done.
" Yeah, he just had a throne at the back of his left foot. He's good as new." Sasuke said as the dog turned to them and started to bark in a happy tone at them and waged his tail. Then the dog goes over towards Sachi and she picks up the dog in her arms and he starts to lick her cheek.
She starts to laugh since it started to tickle. She hadn't laugh or smiled since the death of their clane and their parents. When Sasuke finally saw her smile, he had a small smile on his face as well. He knew that deep down there was happiness still in Sachi somewhere. She stopped laughing and petted his head.
" I'm going to go back to the woods where I found him, maybe whoever he belongs to is probably looking for him right now. I'll be right back." Sachi said as she opens the door and runs towards the area while Sasuke watched her towards the woods.
When she got to the area, she saw someone close to her looking around, " Akamaru! Where are you boy?!" The boy yelled.
" Akamaru? Is that your name, boy?" Sachi asked the dog and he barked in happiness to answer her. She chuckled and looked back up at the boy who was still looking for Akamaru.
She started to walk over to him till he turned towards her when he heard her and his eyes landed on Akamaru who was in her arms ," Akamaru!" He yelled as tears started to go down his face. Sachi knelt down to the ground and placed Akamaru on the ground and he ran towards the boy who went to his knees and Akamaru jumped into his arms and started to lick his cheek.
" I thought I lost you boy." He said as he hugged Akamaru for a while till he let Akamaru climb on his arm up to the top of his head. Once Akamaru was laying on his head he looks over at Sachi.
" Thank you for finding him and bringing him back to me." The boy said as he gave her a smile.
" Your welcome. He was hurt, so me and my brother had to help him. By the way my name is Sachi Uchiha. What's your name?" Sachi asked him but when she saw his smile vanish and his eyes go wide, she instantly knew that he knew who she was.
" Your from the Uchiha clan that was killed and your brother is Sasuke Uchiha and you are his twin sister and you both are the only survivors besides the one that..." He said and as he was about to finish his sentence a shrunken went straight towards him and he dodged out of the way and Akamaru jumped down from his head and landed on the ground as they struck the tree behind him.
He looks back at her with a shock look on his face, " Why did you throw a shrunken at me?" He asked her as he got back to his feet.
" I don't want you to speak about my other brother. I know what he has done to me and Sasuke but I disagree with what everyone says about him, so please, don't." Sachi said as she lowered her head to hid her tears that was starting to go down her face.
As the boy was looking at her for a bit in shock till he clamed down and he turns his back towards her and was about to leave her but he something was letting him not to leave. He did the exact opposite, he turns back to her and walks towards her and once he stood in front of her and then wrapped his arms around her which made Sachi stiffened up in his grasp and she gasped a little bit in shock as he held her.
Her eyes went wide as she slightly turned her head towards him, " Wh...What are you?" She asked him in a shock tone.
" I'm sorry." He said as his grip tightened are her.
" Sorry for what?" Sachi said as she pushed him away from her since she was a little mad at him and glared at him.
" Look, I'm sorry for what I said, I should've watched what I had said cause my mother has told me to be careful when you or your brother is around. I remember what you did to the last time that you got mad, it was boy in our class. *Sigh* Again I'm sorry." The boy said as he turns around and starts to walk away with his hands in his pockets with Akamaru following right behind him.
As Sachi watched he walking away, at first she wasn't going to say anything to him and let him just walk away. But something deep down in her was telling her to stop him. So she had to make a decision right there and now.
" Hey, wait!" Sachi yelled as she ran over to him. He stops in his tracks when he heard her say stop and he turns to her as she reachs him. She bent down to catch her breath, and once she did, she leaned back up and looks at him even though she was still a little mad at him.
" Is there something you wanted, cause if not then I'm going to leave." The boy said as he looks at her.
" I wanted to say thank you." Sachi said as he lowered her eyes to the ground with a little blush on her cheeks.
He looked at her confused, " Why are you thanking me when you should be mad at me?" He said as he looked at her.
" Well... Cause your the first person that apologize for what you said, while others didn't care. So thank you." Sachi said as she placed her hands behind her back.
" It's okay. I should have been careful with what I said." He said as he gave her a small smile which made Akamaru wag his tail in happiness. Whatever anger was inside her was gone and she smiled back at him.
" Before you go, can I still have your name please?" Sachi asked him.
He shook his head and chuckled a little bit and then nodden his head to her, " Sure, my name is Kiba Inuzuka." Kiba said.
* End Of Flashback*
" So you helped Akamaru and that's how you met Kiba?" Hinata asked as her eyes shined with happiness.
" Yea, and it was like a friend and not friend situation, till after a few months we became friends, right Kiba?" Sachi asked him as she looked over at him.
He turned his head away a little bit as a blush started to appear on his cheeks, " Yea, that's right. Hey Hinata, we need to get going if we are going to get the info about the Chunin Exams from Kurenai sensei. See you later Sachi." He said as Akamaru ran over to him and he picked him up and placed him on his head and started to walk away after he waved bye to Sachi.
" See you around, Sachi." Hinata said as he waved goodbye to her and takes off to catch up to Kiba.
Sachi watched them walk away as she waved to them, ' The Chunin Exams huh? This is going to be intersting. I wonder if we are going to be able to participate? But first things first. Where is my team at?' Sachi thought as she continues on her way to find them.
