Chapter one: 21
As we opened the door there was a lote of differnet genin looking towards us, which started to make me feel a little uncomfortable, I got closer to Sasuke and started to walk through the crowd. I saw red hair from the corner of my eye and I looked over to see Gaara and his brother and sister standing right next to him, he looked over at me to notice that I was looking over at him and I waved at him and he didn't do anything except to look away from me.
" Sachi!" I heard someone call my name and I stopped to look behind me and it was Kiba with Akamaru on his head and Hinata was right next to him along with Shino who had his hands in his pockets.
" H...Hello guys." Hinata said as she waved at us and I waved back at her with a smile on my face.
" Sasuke, Your late! I haven't seen you in a while so I've been waiting in exitement!" Ino said as she jumped up onto Sasuke's shoulders and hugged him.
" Get away from Sasuke! Ino pig!" Sakura yelled as she glared at her.
" Why if it isn't Sakura..Big ugly forhead as always." Ino said as she looked at Saukra. I sighed and shook my head as I started to walk over to Ino and pulled her off my brother, which she didn't like that.
" What was that for?!" She asked as she looked over at me with her fist clenched.
" I don't think I need to repeat what happened at the academy do I?" I asked her as she was looking at her with a smirked look on my face and she growls glaring daggers at me which was easy to ignore.
Kiba walked over to me and I looked over at him with a smile on my face, " Hey, Kiba."
" Hey, Sachi, how are you doing right now?" He asked me as he placed his hand on my shoulder. I looked away from him a little bit cause I had a little blush on my cheek and then I looked back up at him with a smile on my face.
" Yeah, I'm doing good. Just a little nervous about the exam." I said as I scratched the back of my head.
" You guys too huh? Man everyone's here for that stupid thing." Shikamaru said as he shook his head with his hands in his pockets.
" Yep, here we all are. The 10 rookies, this is gonna be fun. At least for those of us good enough to make the cut, right Sasuke?" Kiba said as he looked over at him with a big smile on his face.
" Pft...You seem so confident, Kiba." Sasuke said with a arrogant tone as he started at him. I could tell that my brother doesn't like how Kiba is around me but I didn't care. I looked over at Asura and noticed that he was looking over at Sasuke and at first I was wondering if he could take on everybody in the room, whether or not he could do it himself.
I was going to have his back while he was going to have mine, but the conversation was starting to get heated up and I was trying to calm it down. I heard someone walking towards us and I looked over my shoulder to see a guy with glass.
" Hey, you guys. You might want to try to keeping it down a little, I mean no offense but you're the 10 rookies right? Fresh out of the academy? I wouldn't go making a spectacle of yourselves, just cool it." He said as he looked at us and crossed his arms over his chest. I noticed that Asura was paying attention to this guy while me and Saskue was watching him as well and it was starting to get irrtated, but I could tell that it was starting to tick off Asura.
" Kinda of hard when there are a lot of eyes on us." I said as I looked around us and crossed my arms.
" Well you are the most beauty far surpasses some of the woman that is here to take the exam, it is no wonder they won't stop looking at you." The guy said as he looked at me smirking and that was when Sasuke and Asura stood in front of me to keep me from his veiw.
" Who do you think you are?" Sasuke said as he glared at him.
" I'm Kabuto, but instead of worrying about me, you should be looking behind you." Kabuto said as he pointed right behind us. Right as he said that we all look behind us, there was a lot of glares coming at us.
" You've made quite an impression, see those guys? They're from the rain village and very touchy. They all are. This exam makes everyone tense, and you don't want to rub them in the wrong way right now." Kabuto said as every genin was giving all of us dirty looks.
I look over at Maiya along with Asura and noticed that she was shaking a little but I also noticed that Asuka was the complete opposite, she was getting anxious.
I looked over to see Asura walking over to me while Kabuto was talking to the others, " I don't know about you but he seems a little too shady for me." Asura whispered to me as he pointed towards him.
" I'm having a feeling that this guy seems way to friendly for my tast." I whispered back to him while Kabuto pulled out several cards.
" I'll share some ingo with you cute rookies, with these nin-info cards..." Kabuto explained as he held the cards in his hands.
Maiya walked over to Kaubto and asked, " Aren't those cards that can analyzing other people ages, skills and how many mission they accomplished?" Maiya asked as she looked at the back of the cards.
" Yes exactly if we burn info on them with chakra, I have four years of experience here over 200 cards. They look blank but to open the info on the these cards..." Kabuto explained as he places the cards on the ground.
" What are you doing?" Ino asked as she was looking at him.
" You see, I'm using my chakra to reveal their secrets, like this for example. This is the number of those taking the exam and the breakdown of what country they are from." Kabuto said as he looked at them.
" Wow, that's convenient." Maiya said as I nodded my head in agreement but I still didn't trust this guy, I was getting a really bad vibe from him. Me and I hope Aura is the same boat with me, we both had to keep an eye on him.
I looked over at my brother and watched him as he kept asking him questions, Asura started to look around and I looked around with him to noitce that their are certain people looking at us and I didn't like the way they was looking at us, but another thing that worried me was that Asuka was starting to shaking.
" Uh, Asuka?" Asura asked as both him and me was looking at her.
Asura started to walk over to Asuka but before he could do anything to try, she stood straight up and Naruto stood right next to her, " MY NAME IS ASUKA/NARUTO! I WON'T LOSE TO YOU BASTARDS!" They both screamed.
Both Asura and Sakura at the same exact time hit them both in the back of their heads, " You idiots are you trying to make everyone hate us." Both Sakura and Asura yelled at them.
" Why you hit me for?" Naruto said as he looked at Sakura.
" Asura, what was that for do you want to start trouble." Asuka said as she glared at Asura.
I shook my head as Sakura yelled at Naruto and I could tell that Asura was trying to figure what to do but he didn't want to piss her off, so he didn't do anything. But then both me and Asura caught a glimpse of three ninja starting to come towards us, both me and Asura activated our Sharingans and noticed that there was chakra being actived by one the with sleeves as if it was thrown right across but it just went straight forward.
One of them was in the air and he was about to threw a kunai at Kabuto, thinking quick on my feet and I grabbed a shuriken out of my weapon pouch throwing them at him just as he threw his kunai knifes at Kabuto and my shuriken clashed with his, sending them to a wall. He looks over at me and comes at me, but I did a backflip over him before he could do anything to me and I saw the other ninja coming at me with bandages on his face and a large cow print fur coat coming at me and was about to hit me till Asura jumped in front of him and tried to swing a hit on him.
" Wow, Sachi and Asura are really fast when working together, huh?" Sakura said as she was watching us.
" That was so coool." Naruto said as he looked at me. I look over at where Kabuto was standing making sure that he was okay and he was til his glasses cracked and that was when I noticed that my bandage that was around my eye was unwinding and I grabbed it quickly with one hand so that no one could see the damage that was done.
" Oh, I get it, so it was that kind of attack huh?" Kabuto asked as he took his glasses off and was standing there with a smirk on his face til his face went to shock and dropped to his knees, and started to vomit.
I ran over to him while holding the bandage to my eye to see if he was okay, and I dropped down next to him to make sure, I felt someone wrapping the bandage back on and once it was done I looked over to see it was Kiba and I nodded my head to him thanking him. The three ninjas was standing in front of us and I got back on my feet and stood in front with my team on all sides.
" Not such a tough guy after all I guess, how pathetic especially because aren't you a four year veteran." The female sound ninja said.
" Write this on your little card punk, the genin from the Sound Village will be Chuunin when this is over guaranteed." The one with bandages on his face said as he looked over to me.
" And don't forget, not to get into people's business, could get you hurt." He said while looking at me and I glared at him and Asura was very irrtated with them and he started to walk over to them but I raised my arm and stopped him and he looked over at me and I shook my head no, " You need to calm down." I said as I looked at him and then a puff of smoke came from behind us and when we looked that was about 20 Jounin with Ibiki in front of them, I've only met him a few times while it was usually small talk unless he was briefing Kakashi on a mission.
I looked over at Asura and I could tell he was suprised look on his face when he first saw him, ' This is going to be fun. I hope that everything going to be okay with Asura and his team. I really hope that he meant what he said, if I need help him and his team will come. I hope so.' I thought as I looked over at him and then back at Ibiki.
" Alright you baby-faced degenrates, pipe down and listen up. It's time to begin, I'm Ibike Morino your proctor. And from this moment, your worst enemy." Ibiki said as all the genin looked at him in aw.
" First, you candidates in the village hidden in the sound, knock it off. Who told you that you could fight? You want to be failed before we've even begun?" Ibiki said as he looked over at the sound ninja that was still in front of us.
" I apologize, this is our first time...we got a bit carried away.." The bandaged sound ninja said as he scratched the back of his head.
" I'll say this once, so listen up. There will be no combet between candidates, no attacking each other without the permission of your proctor and even then the use of fatal force is strictly prohibited. Got it?" Ibiki asked as all the genin keep their mouth shut until the one on the right to me speaks up.
" Hmph, no fatal force? That's no fun." The one with spiky hair said as he scratched the back of his head.
" Now, if we're ready we'll proced to the first stage of the Chuuin exam. Hand over your paperwork. In return you'll each be given a number, this number determines where you will sit. We'll start to written test once you're all seated." Ibiki said as he was looking at everyone.
I looked over at Asura to notice the look on his face and something told me that he heard what he said and I was worried about Naruto and as I looked over at him, " WHAT A PAPER TEST?!" Naruto yelled.
Once we found all of our seats and I look around trying to find the others, then I looked over my shoulder to see Asura behind me and Maiya was right next to him, then I saw Asuka sitting right next to Sakura.
" Everyone eyes up front, there are a few rules that you need to be aware of, and I won't answer any questions. So you better pay attention the first time around, alright.
Rule number 1: The written part of the exam is conducted on a point reduction system. Contrary to what some of you may be used to, you all begin with a perfect score of 10 points. One point will be deducted for each answer you get wrong. So if you miss 3, your final score will be 7.
Rule number 2: Teams will pass or fail based on the total scores of all 3 members."Ibiki said
" What?! Wait a second! You're saying we all get scored as a team!" Sakura yelled from behind me when I looked over my shoulder to her.
" Silence! I have my reasons, so shut up and listen." Ibiki said as he glared at her.
" Rule number 3: The setinals you see positioned around the room are there to watch you carefully for any signs cheating. And for every incident they spot, they will subtract 2 points from the culprit's score. Be warned, their eyes are extremely sharp. And if they catch you 5 times you'll be dismissed before the tests are even scored. Anyone fool enough to be caught cheating by the setinals doesn't deserve to be here." Ibiki said as he looked at everyone.
" I've got my eyes on guys." Kotetsu looking around until he stops on me and smirk, which told me he'll be keeping an eye on me.
I look over at Asura and I could tell from his face that he was worried and who wouldn't be, I was worried about Naruto, he wasn't really at writing test, ' Please Naruto. Don't freeze up and try your best, please.' I thought as I looked over at him.
