Chapter 10: Kidnapped!
We see Sam and Adora training with their blades against Antauri.
Antauri blocked both blades with his lightsabers.
"Very good", Antauri said.
Antauri then lifted some boulders with the force and threw them at Sam and Adora.
"Woah", Adora shouted as she backed away.
Sam ran forward and sliced the boulders with his lightsabers.
Adora then sliced the rest of the boulders in half.
Antauri then deactivated his lightsabers.
"Adora, you let your fear take control again", Antauri said.
She-Ra sighed as she turned back to normal.
Adora said, "I'm sorry. I guess…. I'm still getting used to all of this. Being She-Ra. Being on this side. Fighting like this. Y'know?"
Antauri and Sam nodded in understanding.
"I know it takes time to get used to this, but you have to learn to control your fear, Adora", Antauri said.
"That's a lesson I had to learn a lot during the time of the clone wars", Sam said.
Adora nodded, understanding their words.
Adora said, "thanks. I'm sure I'll get the hang of things."
Sam smiled and said, "I'm sure you will."
Adora asked, "Antauri, I wanted to ask you a few things?"
Antauri nodded his head.
"You say you are not a Jedi nor a Sith, but you do a lot of good things that the Jedi do", Adora asked.
"I agree with Adora", Sam said.
Antauri said, "I choose to do good things, in order to benefit the galaxy. If I do not act, the balance is thrown out of whack. I was once a Jedi, but I left the order a long time ago, but I helped the Jedi Order during the High Republic", Antauri said.
"What about your lightsabers? You're the only one I've seen with white lightsabers", Adora asked.
Antauri said, "I once had different ones. A purple and green lightsaber. After I left the order, I left them behind, and got my white lightsabers from a user of the dark side after he purified the crystals from the darkness."
Adora asked, "those crystals can do that?"
Antauri answers, "yes. A Kyber Crystal is a living being as well and it can bleed. It's living energy is why a lightsaber is so powerful."
"Which is how a Sith can turn their crystal red, by making it bleed", Sam said.
"That's amazing", Adora said.
Antauri smiled.
"You really remind me a lot of Mara", Antauri said.
Adora asked, "Mara?"
"She was the previous She-Ra", Antauri said.
Adora asked, "what was she like?"
Antauri replied, "amazing. Incredible as a warrior, and as a person. A great sense of humor. Beautiful beyond words. And she always did the right was more than my friend. She was my best friend. She was my family. She was like my daughter. She also saw me as a father."
Sam asked, "but you never knew what happened to her?"
"No, I only felt her become one with the force", Antauri said.
Adora asked, "become one with the force?"
"It's when someone passes on or dies", Sam said.
"Oh", Adora said.
….
Later
Sam asked himself, "how did this all go wrong so fast?"
Sam along with the twins went to the princess prom with Adora and her friends, which was being held at Frosta's castle.
Everything was going well until Catra and Scorpia showed up. They pretended to be friendly and all, until they kidnapped Bow, Glimmer, Luke and Leia.
"It's okay Sam, we'll save them", Adora said.
Sam replied, "oh trust me, I plan on going through an entire army if I must in order to save them. They're my only family I have left. And I'm not gonna let them hurt them, or our friends."
Adora said, "trust me, the feeling is mutual. I'd do anything for those kids."
Sam smiled, as he saw Adora as a sister.
"Oh Adora, you really remind me so much of Padme", Sam said.
Adora asked, "I do? What was she like?"
Sam said, "she had many great qualities. A great friend. An amazing politician. A weird taste in fashion. And makeup. And hair. But nevertheless, she was one of the most caring people I had met. And she stood by my brother many times…. Even when the Republic had gone to bantha crap and back."
Adora let out a smile.
"Thanks for being there for Luke and Leia, you are the closest thing they have had to a mother, Ahsoka was there at times, but she was more of an aunt to them", Sam said.
Adora smiled even more.
Adora said, "we'll have more time to praise one another after we save the others."
Sam said, "agreed. And we might not have much time. Let's hurry!"
"You could use a little help."
Sam and Adora turned to see Perfuma, Entrapta, Sea Hawk and Mermista.
Hamill then ran up to Sam.
"We'll help too", Threepio said.
Artoo bleeped.
Sam smiled at his new friends.
….
At the Fright Zone
Catra was checking the Sword of Protection.
"Check this thing out. You've got to admit, Shadow Weaver, in a single mission, I inflicted more damage on the Rebellion than anyone else", Catra said.
Shadow Weaver's hands were on the runestone, the Black Garnet, as she was recharging her power.
"Though I will admit that Sam boy scared me, he nearly cut my head off with one of those laser swords", Catra said.
Hordak appears on a screen.
"Shadow Weaver", Hordak said.
"My Lord", Shadow Weaver said.
"I commend you on the capture of the Princess of Bright Moon. Queen Angella has been given until the morning's moonrise to surrender herself to our forces", Hordak said.
Catra asked, "and what about Adora and that, what's he called; StarRunner? Lord knows they'll probably be here to rescue their friends and family."
"Skywalker, Catra. And from what I have seen he cares very much for his niece and nephew, and will do anything to protect them", Hordak said.
Catra stated, "so, those two kids are our leverage?"
Hordak said, "indeed. But do not harm them, under any circumstances."
Catra asked, "why not?"
Hordak stated, "I gave Skywalker my word that his family would not come under harm from our actions."
"My lord, are you alright?" Shadow Weaver asked.
Hordak asked, "why do you ask that?"
"You've never shown such emotions like that before", Shadow Weaver said.
Catra said, "or maybe because he has a crush on Skywalker?"
"Catra", Shadow Weaver scolded.
Hordak stuttered, "w-what?! That's preposterous!"
Catra said, "oh my God! You totally do!"
Hordak shouted, "I do not!"
Catra said, "you do!"
"Don't!"
"Do!"
"Don't!"
"Do!"
"Don't!"
"Do!"
"Don't!"
"Do!"
Shadow Weaver shouted, "enough! Honestly!"
"Like I said, no harm comes upon the twins", Hordak said with a blush on his face.
"Understood, my lord", Shadow Weaver said.
….
Luke and Leia were in a cell together.
"Ugh, if we had only brought our lightsabers with us", Leia said.
"Now our uncle is worried to death about us", Luke said.
"Quiet in there."
"If you lay a hand on us, our uncle will kill you", Leia said.
"Enough, I thought I made it clear no harm was to come upon them!"
Luke and Leia then saw….
Hordak, standing there and scolding the soldier.
Hordak said, "if you disobey me again, you'll wish Skywalker found you first!"
The soldier cowered as Hordak turned his gaze towards the twins for a moment.
"Now get out of my sight", Hordak shouted.
The soldier then ran away.
Hordak then turned to stare at the twins.
"You're Hordak", Luke said.
Hordak replied, "yes. And you're Sam Skywalker's family. It's…. A pleasure to meet you."
Leia asked, "what're you gonna do with us?!"
Hordak answered, "I promised your uncle that no harm would befall you. I simply need you to get him to come to us."
Luke shouted, "why should we trust you!?"
Leia shouted, "and what do you want with our uncle!?"
Hordak said, "I am…. Interested in the strange powers you all have. As well as those amazing weapons you use. Information is what I want. But I'm not going to hurt children to get it. Least not Sam's family."
"Like we'd believe anything you say", Leia shouted.
Luke asked, "what do you mean you won't hurt us?"
"You are lying, Adora told us how the Horde treated her when she was a child", Leia said.
Hordak asked, "can't you Jedi read people's minds, or something?"
Luke said, "well, sorta."
Hordak stated, "then go ahead. Try to sense any deceit from me!"
Luke and Leia then used the force to read Hordak's mind.
And they saw no hint of lying about hurting them! He was hiding something, but he was being genuine about not causing any harm to them!
"My lord, the rebels are here", a horde soldier said.
Hordak asked, "is Skywalker with them?"
"Yes, he is with the rebels", the soldier said.
Hordak said, "good. Soon, he will be in our grasp, and we will have the information we need!"
"Leave our uncle alone, you monster", Luke shouted.
Hordak said, "I'm afraid I can't grant that request. But don't worry, I'll make sure he's safe once he's captured."
Luke and Leia glared at Hordak as he left.
….
Sam was with Adora, Sea Hawk and Perfuma, and the group was fighting Lonnie and a few Horde Soliders.
"I need to save my friends", Adora said.
"We were your friends", Lonnie shouted.
"Get him!"
Sam then used his lightsaber to cut the Stun batons in half and then force pushed the Horde Soldiers off the balcony.
"Sam, you search for Luke and Leia, we'll handle them", Adora shouted.
"I'm on it, come on Hamill", Sam shouted.
Hamill bleeped.
Sam then jumped off. He began searching for the others through the halls of the base, trying to keep to the shadows so he wouldn't get caught, but still having a strong grip on his lightsabers.
Hamill then bleeped as he pointed at something.
Sam then turned to see the cell holding Luke and Leia, there two Horde Soldiers guarding the cell.
"I'll handle this, Hamill try to unlock the cell", Sam said.
Hamill bleeped as he climbed the wall.
Sam then walked over to the Horde Soldiers
Sam then began to use the famous mind trick.
Sam, "you will go to the mess hall."
The soldiers said, "we'll go to the mess hall/ I could eat."
Sam, "you will go get some macaroni and cheese."
The soldiers, "we will get some macaroni and cheese/ I'm lactose intolerant, but okay."
The soldiers then left.
"Uncle Sam", Luke and Leia said.
Hamill plugged his tail into the computer and he quickly unlocked the cell.
Luke and Leia ran towards their uncle and hugged him.
"I'm so glad you two are safe", Sam said.
"Uncle you don't understand…. This is a trap", Leia shouted.
Sam said, "a trap?"
"Well, well, you just got more impressive, Skywalker."
Sam turned around to see Hordak along with a few Horde soldiers.
….
Artoo had knocked out Kyle and unlocked Bow's cell.
"Thank you, Artoo", Bow said.
"Hey", Threepio said.
"You too Threepio." Bow said.
"Come on, we have to find the others", Perfuma said.
...
Adora was now tied to a table.
"Leave us. Report to the Force Captain barracks and pack your things. Now that Adora is back, there's no need for you there", Shadow Weaver said to Catra.
Catra asked, "seriously? After everything I've done for you, it's still her you want?"
"I said go", Shadow Weaver shouted as she pushed Catra out towards the door, Catra stared at Adora with a glare, before leaving.
"Shadow Weaver, I'll stay here with you willingly, but you have to let Glimmer and the twins go first", Adora said.
"Adora, no", Glimmer said.
Adora asked, "Glimmer, are you okay?"
"You are correct Adora. You shall stay willingly, because I am going to wipe your mind. You'll have no memory of She-Ra or the time you spent with the Rebellion", Shadow Weaver said, as her hands started to glow red.
"Everything will be as it once was. As for the Princess, once I'm done, you'll be happy to have her as your prisoner", Shadow Weaver said as she placed her hands on both sides of Adora's head who started to scream in pain.
Glimmer shouted, "no! Adora!"
Glimmer is trapped in a force field of red energy, and can only watch as Shadow Weaver does this. But she starts concentrating, trying to teleport put of the cell in order to help! And after a few struggles, she's able to teleport and appears behind Shadow Weaver!
She quickly punches her in the face, and that knocks her out! Glimmer quickly goes over to Adora as they lay on the ground, holding their head in pain.
Glimmer asked, "Adora are you okay? Do you know who I am?"
"Glimmer", Adora said.
Glimmer smiled as she hugged Adora. Then she helped her up to her feet, and the two walked out of the room.
….
Sam activated his lightsabers as he stood in front of Luke and Leia.
"You lied to me, Hordak", Sam said.
"I never lied, Sam….", Hordak said.
Sam shouted, "then why would you kidnap Luke and Leia!?"
Hordak yelled, "it was the only way to even get to you! But rest assured, no harm ever befell them! I made sure the soldiers didn't hurt them!"
Sam said, "a likely story. Why should I believe you?!"
"Uncle, he is telling the truth", Luke said.
"He was being honest with his words", Leia said.
Sam stared at them with a shocked look on his face.
"If you ever kidnap them again, you'll know the meaning of true pain, we're leaving", Sam said.
Hordak shook his head as he chuckled.
He said, "oh, I'm afraid not. You think I set all of this up, just for you to escape from here? No, you're not going anywhere."
Hamill was above the Horde Soldiers as he was unscrewing the bolts from the ceiling.
"What do you mean by that", Sam asked with a glare as he held his two lightsabers in a reverse grip.
Hordak said, "I want information. About the lightsabers. The force. The Empire. And I doubt you would give the information freely, unless you were forced to. Say, if you were a prisoner?"
Hamill bleeped as he waved his hands to the twins.
Luke and Leia told their uncle of the plan through the force.
"YOU LIAR", Sam shouted.
Hordak said, "I promised no harm would come to your family. I didn't promise anything else! Now you better choose tour next actions wisely, Sam, or things won't work out well for you!"
"I don't think so…. Now, Hamill", Sam shouted.
Hamill let the ceiling fall on the soldiers.
Hamill laughed.
"What the-", Hordak asked, before he was pushed back.
Sam had force pushed Hordak.
"Come on, let's go", Sam shouted.
Luke and Leia nodded their heads as they ran, Hamill soon caught up with them.
Sam could hear Hordak shouting or screaming behind them.
They quickly hurried as fast as they could to find the others, hoping that they were alright.
"We made it. This way to the vehicle bay", Sea hawk said.
Bow and his group started to follow Sea Hawk.
Emily, (Entrapta's new horde bot), was trapped between a cable.
"Wait, Emily", Entrapta said as she ran back to the bot.
"Entrapta! No", Perfuma shouted.
Entrapta stared back at them, before the door clanged shut, and there was an explosion inside.
Adora and Glimmer were running through the hallways.
Adora asked, "Glimmer what's wrong?"
"I can't teleport", Glimmer said.
The two then turned around to see Catra with the sword, and she was approaching them.
Catra then handed the sword to Adora.
Adora asked, "Catra what are you doing?"
"Take it. This is not because I like you", Catra said.
"Catra. I….", Adora said.
"Just go", Catra said as she left.
"For the honor of Grayskull!"
Adora then transformed into She-Ra.
Glimmer asked, "where are Sam and the twins?"
"They are on their way, I hope", She Ra said.
Sam and the twins were running through the hallways.
"Don't let them get away", Hordak shouted.
Sam let Luke and Leia run forward as he activated his lightsabers and began blocking the shots from the soldiers!
Luke yelled, "what are you doing?!"
Sam yelled, "I'll catch up! Get to the others!"
"No, we won't leave you uncle", Leia shouted.
Sam force pushed them back and used the force to hit the button on the panel causing the doors to close.
Hamill was jumping onto Soldiers' heads.
"Get that monkey!"
Hamill laughed as he jumped around.
Hamill was then knocked out.
"Hamill", Sam shouted.
Sam growled as he charged towards the soldiers and sliced their weapons in half.
Sam then force pushed them into a wall, knocking them out.
"You are much stronger than I thought, Sam", Hordak said.
Sam said, "we do anything for the ones we love. And I'm not gonna lose my family. Not again. Not if I can do something about it!"
"We'll see about that", Hordak said as he fired at Sam.
Sam deflected the shot as it hit Hordak in the arm.
Sam then ran towards Hordak as he tried to slash at him with his lightsabers.
Hordak fired a shot at Sam's left hand causing his lightsaber to go flying.
Sam then gripped the other lightsaber in his hand tightly.
The two were left at each other's throats, as Sam pointed his blade at Hordak's neck, and Hordak's blaster was pointed right at Sam's chest.
"Give up, Sam", Hordak said.
"I don't think so", Sam said as he quickly kicked Hordak in the chest.
Hordak quickly kicked Sam's other lightsaber from his hand.
Sam then grabbed Hordak's left arm and twisted it, before elbowing him in the chest and throwing him over his shoulder.
Hordak then fell onto the floor.
"Awww, I thought you would be more impressive, Hordak", Sam teased as he then used the force to call his lightsabers when….
Hordak suddenly grabbed his leg and electrocuted Sam, knocking him out as he screamed in pain.
Hordak got to his feet and looked at the unconscious Sam.
Several soldiers ran up to Hordak and one said, "Sir, the prisoners are escaping. We managed to apprehend one. Shall we pursue them?"
"No, let them go, I have Skywalker", Hordak said.
Hordak then stared down at the unconscious Sam.
Hordak turned to his soldiers and said, "being the other prisoner to me. They and Skywalker will be of great use to us."
….
Outside
She-Ra asked, "where's Entrapta?"
Glimmer asked, "where's Sam?"
"Entrapta didn't make it", Bow said.
She-Ra asked, "what do you mean?"
"She's gone", Mermista said as she wiped away the tears from her eyes.
She-Ra, turning back into Adora, asked, "Luke, Leia, where is Sam?"
Luke said, "he stayed behind so we could get away."
Leia added, "we think Hamill is in there too."
Bow exclaimed, "we've gotta go back and get them!"
Glimmer said, "no. As much as I wanna go back and save them, and as much as I hope Entrapta is still alive, we have to get out of here!"
"No, we can't leave them behind", Adora said.
"Adora, we can't go back now, we're all injured and tired", Glimmer said.
"Glimmer's right, we don't have the strength to fight through the Horde again", Leia said.
"As much as it hurts, we have to think of a plan, but we will rescue Uncle Sam and Hamill", Luke said.
Adora said, "we better. I ain't letting you kids lose any more of your family. Sigh…. Let's get back home."
And with that, the group began making their way back home.
….
Hordak was in his main room, with Shadow Weaver, Catra, Scorpia,and a few other force captains.
"Not only did you lose the princess known as Glimmer, but I've learned that you've known Adora was She-Ra all along", Hordak said.
"Now you see why I felt it was so important to bring her back….", Shadow Weaver said.
"All you did was invite attack from an enemy combatant with detailed knowledge of our operations. If I had known, I never would have agreed to your foolish plan", Hordak said.
Catra laughed.
"Yeah, bad plan", Catra whispered to Scorpia.
"Wasn't it your…. Oh", Scorpia said before Catra elbowed her.
"But at least one good thing came out of all of this", Hordak said.
Catra asked, "which is?"
Hordak replied, "we now have Skywalker in our hands. And soon, we'll know more about his strange abilities, and his weapons."
Catra whispered, "more like he just wants a kiss from him."
"Wait, you're saying Hordak has a crush on Skywalker!? Oh that's so Cute", Scorpia gushed out loud.
Hordak blushed as he glared.
Hordak shouted, "what did you say!?"
Scorpio said, "oh! I'm sorry! Was I not supposed to say any of that? I'm sorry, it's just too cute!"
Hordak groaned as he rubbed his temples.
Shadow Weaver asked, "where is he now?"
Hordak said, "in a special cell. With a collar we found on that ship to inhibit his abilities with the force."
….
Sam groaned as he woke up in a cell, he saw he had cuffs on his hands and a collar on his neck.
"Oh great", Sam said as he knew what the collar was.
"Glad to see you are awake."
Sam saw Hordak walk into the room.
Sam stood up and asked, "where are Luke and Leia?"
Hordak said, "they and the rest of your friends have escaped from here. It seems your stunt bought them all time."
Sam simply glared at Hordak as they stood on exact opposite sides of the glass door to the cell.
Sam shouted, "where did you get this collar and where are my lightsabers?!"
Hordak replied, "we found that collar on that Imperial ship. As for your lightsabers; they are being held by yours truly."
"Give them back! They are not yours", Sam shouted as he got as close as he could.
Hordak said, "now why would I do that? If I gave you these weapons back, I'd be more sliced up than a pizza. No, I'm going to hold onto them until I know you can be trusted with them."
Sam asked as he glared at Hordak, "what do you plan to do with me? And where is my droid?"
Hordak said, "simple. You'll be held captive until you cooperate with us. And as for your droid, I have no idea where it is. It scampered off somewhere in this place."
"Hamill is smart, he'll get me out of here, and you won't get the information you want from me", Sam shouted.
Hordak said, "oh, we'll see about that…."
Hordak walked off as Sam glared at the retreating form, muttering, "how the Hell am I supposed to get him to join us?"
….
A few hours later
Entrapta, after being told her friends left her, was walking alongside Catra and Scorpia, when she saw something.
Catra said, "shh, what's that?"
Entrapta asked, "Hamill?"
Hamill let out a bleep as he ran towards Entrapta.
"He is so cute every time I see him", Scorpia said.
Hamill then pointed in a direction.
Entrapta asked, "what is it boy?"
"My lord it is useless! None of the force captains could make Skywalker tell us the information we want", Shadow Weaver said.
Hordak growled in anger.
"He didn't even show fear when I threatened him", Shadow Weaver said.
Hordak said, "he's been through far worse than any of our methods. I've seen visions of things he's gone through. Pain. Betrayal. Loss. None of our harsh methods will work!"
Catra then entered along with Scorpia.
"Not now, Catra", Shadow Weaver shouted.
"But we have some good news", Scorpia said.
"Tell us later! We are focusing on how to get Skywalker to speak with us", Hordak said.
"But it's about that", Catra smirked.
Entrapta walked forward as she stood beside Sam.
Shadow Weaver asked, "the princess?"
"She has joined us, and it seems she is the one who got Skywalker here to talk", Catra said.
Scorpia was holding Hamill.
Hordak looked at Sam and asked, "why would you trust her with the information?"
Sam said, "it's simple really. I trust her more than most of you."
"Well, alright", Hordak said.
"I'm so excited, I've been waiting for you to tell me about your weapons, your ship, the galaxy you came from and the force", Entrapta beamed.
"If you want to know how the Lightsabers work, you must bring them to me", Sam said.
"No, this is a trick", Shadow Weaver said.
Sam said, "no lightsabers; no info."
Hordak, "Shadow Weaver…. Bring him the lightsabers."
Shadow Weaver reluctantly said, "very well, my lord."
Shadow Weaver retrieved the lightsabers and slowly handed them to Sam.
"If you do one thing to escape, Sam, you'll be thrown back into your cell", Hordak warned.
"Sure, whatever", Sam said.
"Please start already, I want to know how those weapons work", Entrapta beamed.
Sam nodded as he ignited one of the weapons and said, "this is a lightsaber. Almost like a living weapon. Controlled by a Kyber crystal, a gem so strong in the force, most would say it is alive. The blade is an extension of the crystal. We Jedi search for the crystal we are destined for. And we build our lightsabers from scratch. It becomes a reflection of ourselves. And the blade is like an extension of our own limbs. We feel through the blade. And the Jedi wielded them as peacekeepers."
"Woah", Catra said.
"Amazing", Scorpia said.
Shadow Weaver asked, "and this crystal…. It is required in order for the weapon to work?"
Hordak asked, "and what do you mean; the Crystal is alive?"
Sam said, "to answer the questions in order…. Yes, a Kyber Crystal is required for a lightsaber to work. The crystals have a strong connection to the force, so it's like a living battery for the lightsabers. But there's most likely no crystals on Etheria, so it's impossible for you guys to build them."
Shadow Weaver asked, "if there are no crystals on Etheria,then where could we find them?"
"All Jedi get their Kyber crystals on the planet Illum, but the empire has been strip-mining the planet for it's Kyber crystals", Sam said.
"Tell us more about this Empire and the Force", Hordak said.
Sam said, "years ago, the Galactic Republic was the government across the galaxy. But after a group of systems separated from them, the clone wars began. And at the end of the clone wars, the Republic was turned into the first Galactic Empire. The Jedi were driven to near extinction. And as for the force. It's what gives the Jedi their power. It surrounds us all. Penetrates us. Binds us all together. It's the life blood of the entire galaxy. Those strong in it, can use the force to have mystical abilities. And even those who can't, the force is still in them."
"Cool", Scorpia said.
Catra said, "so we all here have the force but we can't use those powers you have?"
Sam replied, "yes. Only those strong in the force can wield it."
Scorpio asked, "so, who else can wield the force?"
"The Jedi and The Sith can wield the force", Sam said.
Hordak asked, "what's the difference between the Jedi and the Sith?"
Sam said, "a big difference. The Jedi use the force to protect and help others. The Sith use the force for only themselves, and to hurt others. There's very few examples of Sith who weren't totally evil."
Shadow Weaver asked, "there were?"
Sam said, "yes, but I can't remember any at this moment. Anyway, the Jedi followed the light side of the force, trying to do good across the galaxy. Meanwhile, the Sith follow the dark side, doing evil throughout the galaxy."
Hordak asked, "you say that this Sith lord Palpatine was able to fool the Jedi Order during the Republic, how could they not sense the darkness within him?"
Sam replied, "he was so strong in the force, that he could easily hide his power, even when they sat right in front of the most powerful Jedi in the order. He was able to pull the strings during the entire war, until he got what he wanted."
Catra asked, "so, where is he now?"
Sam answered, "he died years ago. A very deadly disease claimed his life, and he put his second in command in charge. The most powerful Sith Lord in the galaxy. Darth Vader."
Entrapta asked, "have you faced them before?"
Sam tried to harden his look before answering with, "several times. Each one, more dangerous than the last."
Hordak asked, "tell us more about this; Darth Vader?"
Sam said, "... He was once a Jedi, like myself. An amazing pilot. A cunning warrior. And a good friend. Until he turned to evil, being seduced by the dark side of the force. He helped hunt down and destroy most of the Jedi. He betrayed and murdered so many people I care about. He's always clad in a black suit that makes him look more like a machine than a man. And his ultimate goal is to catch Luke and Leia, in hopes of turning them into Sith."
"So that's why you are so protective of the twins", Hordak said.
"I don't want Darth Vader to turn the only family I have left into monsters like him", Sam said.
Scorpia asked, "what happened to Luke and Leia's mother?"
Sam got a sad look on his face.
He said, "she died after giving birth. After…. Vader attacked her, and we lost my brother, Anakin, during a battle, she lost the will to live. And I promised her I would look after the kids."
Sam was stretching the truth, not revealing what truly happened with Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker.
Scorpia got a sad look on her face and she ran over to give Sam one of her famous hugs as she held him in his arms.
"Scorpia", Catra scolded.
Sam grunted out, "ngh, it's fine. I needed a good hug after reliving all of that."
Scorpia then put Sam down.
"I have more questions", Entrapta asked.
Shadow Weaver asked, "but I want to ask first, when did you become a Jedi?"
Sam replied, "when I was very young. A child, in fact. A good way to learn from an early age."
Catra asked, "you joined the Jedi, when you were a kid!?"
Entrapta asked, "but how and why?"
Hordak asked, "yes, why at such a young age?"
Sam explained, "Jedi are found when they are very young, so they can begin their training. The Jedi had a code that forbade attachments and relationships. It wasn't a perfect code, but it was a way to keep the Jedi from drawing closer to the dark side. Being trained at an early age helps. I was found by my Master, Shaak Ti, who could sense my strong connection to the force."
Entrapta asked, "so that means you can't fall in love or get married?"
"No, unless you kept it secret" Sam said.
"That code is stupid", Catra said.
Hordak nodded his head at what Catra said.
"In the order there are different ranks for the Jedi", Sam said.
Shadow Weaver asked, "what ranks are there?"
Sam said, "first is a padawan, a student learning from a master. Next is a knight, where they are no longer a student. Next is Master, the most respected and powerful of the order. The Grand Master is the one with the strongest connection to the force, and the most wisdom."
"Impressive", Shadow Weaver said.
"I was a Jedi Knight before the Jedi Purge happened", Sam said.
Hordak asked, "it if there were thousands of Jedi in the galaxy, how were they all driven to extinction?"
Sam felt a small tear escape his eye.
Sam said, "we were all scattered across the galaxy, due to the clone wars. When Vader turned on us, that was the beginning. Palpatine enacted; Order 66. A contingency plan in case the Jedi decided to take over. Most of the clones followed the order, due to chips in their brains that forced them to. Only a handful of Jedi survived Order 66."
"That is a clever plan", Shadow Weaver said.
Sam glared at Shadow Weaver for saying that.
Catra asked, "how did you end up here on Etheria?"
Sam answered with, "simple. Luke, Leia and I had been captured aboard an Imperial Star Destroyer. Our droids came to rescue us, but the ship was accidentally sent into hyperspace, bringing us here, and making our ship, the Ebon Hawk, crash onto this planet."
"Tell us how the ships in your galaxy work", Shadow Weaver asked.
Sam answered, "like any other starship. An engine, fuel, hyperdrive, the works. How many more questions do you have?!"
"We're sorry, but it's just a lot to take in", Scorpia said.
"Well, ask them for another day", Sam said.
"Sorry", Scorpia said.
"Now we have the information, the only problem is, Etheria probably doesn't have the crystals needed for the Lightsabers", Hordak said.
"That might not be the case", Entrapta said.
Catra asked, "what do you mean?"
Entrapta said, "on the disc I recovered, it did mention something about there being…. A Jedi Temple on Etheria?"
Shadow Weaver said, "well, it looks like your little Jedi religion somehow ended up on our planet."
Sam said, "first I've heard of it."
"Well from what I have read, the Jedi did exist here on Etheria, but they disappeared thousands of years ago, but the Jedi Temple is said to be located somewhere on Etheria", Entrapta said.
Hordak then thought for a second.
Hordak said, "and where there's a temple, there must be a way to build our own lightsabers!"
"But I have some bad news for you", Sam said with a smirk.
Shadow Weaver asked, "which is?"
"Only a force sensitive can build their lightsabers, as the crystal will need to bond with the user, but since none of you have the force, it won't work", Sam said with a smirk.
Hordak and the others all had a look that said, "oh crap."
Hamill let out what sounded like a laugh.
….
"I can't stop thinking about our uncle, we have to go save him", Luke said.
"But Luke we need a plan, you saw how many soldiers there are in the fright zone, it will be hard to get past them all", Leia said.
"Calm down you two, we will save Sam", Adora said.
"I hope Hordak keeps true to his promise and doesn't hurt our uncle", Leia said.
Adora then winced a bit as she flashbacked to when she made a promise to Sam, to protect Luke and Leia if something ever happened to him.
"Promise me Adora, that you'll protect Luke and Leia no matter what, in case something ever happens to me", Sam said.
Adora knelt down to the kids and said, "I promise…. I'll protect you kids. Until we get your uncle back, no one's gonna hurt you on my watch."
Luke and Leia had tears in their eyes, as they both hugged Adora. Adora hugged the twins back.
She had a new mission.
Protect the kids as they tried to rescue Sam….

Well, we had to get Sam into the Horde somehow! So now our hero must deal with Hordak and his minions while Adora is left watching the twins.
