Lead the Way: A Star Wars/She-Ra Story
Chapter 11: Hope
We currently see Ahsoka and Leon piloting their ship, on the search for Sam and the kids in their last known location.
"It stops here, Ahsoka", Leon said.
"This is the last known location of the ships, before they went into hyperspace", Ahsoka said.
Leon asked, "you think we'll find them?"
Ahsoka said, "I don't think, I know. We've come this far honey. I'm not giving up now."
Leon smiled and said, "and that's why I love you."
Ahsoka then kissed Leon, after a few moments, they separated for air.
"I'll let the Rebels know of our progress", Leon said as he went to the back of the ship.
Ahsoka then clutched her head as she had another vision
….
Ahsoka saw in the vision her twin sister Ashla with the white man, and that blue haired man.
She also saw Sam, Luke and Leia!
The group were in some sort of cave.
Ahsoka saw a yellow spore land on the white man and the blue haired man's noses.
They both sneeze…. In a cute way.
Sam said, "aww! That's how you sneeze Hordak?"
"I never knew you sneezed like that Prime", Ashla said.
"What", Hordak asked as he rubbed his nose.
Horde Prime asked, "what's wrong with my sneeze?"
"It's just so…. Cute", Sam and Ashla said.
"That's how I sneeze", Hordak said as he was blushing.
"My sneeze is normal", Horde Prime said as he blushed.
Sam and Ashla kept teasing Hordak and Horde Prime about their sneeze as the others did the same to Catra, with her sneeze being even cuter.
Ahsoka was beyond confused as she saw all of this. But it relieved her to know the others were, or would be, alright.
"I can't believe the whole time, Hordak the leader of the Horde, who was trying to kill the Rebels, had the cutest sneeze ever", Sam beamed.
"Don't call me cute", Hordak said as he blushed even more.
"And the mighty Horde Prime had such a cute sneeze as well", Adora said with a giggle.
Horde Prime blushed even more.
He yelled, "I am not cute!"
Bow said, "like I told Catra, the angrier you are, the cuter you are!"
Luke and Leia were laughing as Hordak said, "I am not cute!"
Luke said, "yeah right, Mr. Cutie McCuterson!"
Leia cackled at Luke's joke.
Hordak and Horde Prime lunged at them, but they ended up getting another spore on their noses and they sneezed again.
"Awww! I swear it gets cuter every time", Sam beamed with a loving look on his face.
Ahsoka was confused at this. Was Sam…. Dating Hordak?
"Stop it Prime, I can't take it", Ashla giggled.
The two men groaned in annoyance at the others having such amusement over their misfortune in this series of events.
….
Ahsoka then saw more in the vision.
….
She saw Sam…. Injured?
Ahsoka saw herself there, with her twin, Adora, Hordak, Horde Prime and a few other people she didn't know.
They were speaking to someone over a com device.
"Help us!"
"Luke! Leia", Sam shouted.
"Let us go", Leia shouted.
"Leia", Adora shouted.
"Adora, help us", Luke shouted.
"I can't trace their signal", Ashla said.
"Well try", Hordak shouted, holding Sam in his arms.
"Uncle Sam, Hordak, we need you", Luke and Leia shouted.
Sam shouted, "let them go, you bastard!"
Ahsoka heard a distorted voice say, "they're mine now…. Skywalker!"
Ahsoka felt a familiar presence from the voice. She just wasn't sure what?
"No, leave them alone, they're just kids", Adora shouted.
"Adora's right", Ashla said.
Hordak held Sam in his arms as he cried.
"I'm warning you, let Luke and Leia go", Hordak shouted.
The distorted voice laughed as he said, "and why would I let them go? They're my- alfhwpb ^#*beiwkbciwn."
The vision started to block out what the distorted voice was saying!
"Ahsoka? Ahsoka!"
….
Ahsoka was bought back to reality as she saw her husband staring at her.
Leon asked, "you zoned out there for a moment, what happened?"
"I had a vision", Ahsoka said.
Leon asked, "a vision? What did you see?"
Ahsoka replied, "I saw Sam. Luke and Leia. They were with my sister, and that man he kept seeing in his visions. And a bunch of other people. I caught a few names. Hordak. Horde Prime. Adora. A moment of them having some fun…. And then confronting…. It sounded like Vader, but I'm not sure. But…. Now I know where they are!"
Leon asked, "where?"
"On a planet called Etheria", Ahsoka said.
Leon asked, "and where is that?"
Ahsoka replied, "I'm not sure. It's far beyond the Outer Rim. But one thing I do know…. They're safe, at least, for the most part."
"We must let Obi Wan and the Jedi know about this", Leon said.
"But we have to be careful, when we get there, we can't risk the empire finding out about them", Ahsoka said.
"Understood", Leon said.
….
Etheria
She-Ra was fighting Catra, and the Horde had started to attack Bright Moon.
Luke shouted, "where is our uncle!?"
Catra shouted, "like I'm gonna tell you! Not after how hard it was to get him!"
Luke and Leia both had their blades at the ready as they helped Adora fight.
Luke and Leia both slashed at Catra who had a hard time dodging the attacks.
Catra then kicked She-Ra, which made her fall to her knees and she used that chance to scratch her face.
"Adora", Luke shouted.
Catra smirked as she was approaching She-Ra, when Antauri suddenly appeared in front of her!
Catra asked, "who are you!?"
"You may call me Antauri, but be warned Catra…. A dark future awaits you…. One that you might never see", Antauri said.
Catra asked, "what do you mean?"
Antauri said, "I cannot say too much. But know this! Unless your ways change for the better…. Unless you make things right for things you've done wrong…. You may never see the beautiful future that could await you!"
Catra asked, shocked, "what?"
"Be warned Catra! You may never live to see your future if you continue down this path", Antauri yelled before he disappeared.
She-Ra asked, "Catra?"
Catra growled as she continued to attack them.
….
Sam was in Hordak's room.
It had been a week since he had been captured, even though he wanted to escape, Sam felt that by staying here, he might be able to help Hordak become a better person.
But Sam still had that collar on his neck, he didn't have the cuffs on him anymore, but Hordak still didn't trust him.
Sam then felt pain throughout his entire body.
"Sam", Hordak asked as he walked over to him, before he too felt pain.
The two then started to have the same vision…!
….
In it, they see the two of them training in lightsaber combat, Luke and Leia hugging Hordak the same way you'd hug a father or uncle, and Sam training Hordak in the ways of the force!
….
As quick as it happened, the vision ended, with Hordak and Sam staring at one another in shock!
Also Sam and Hordak were hugging each other, and the two quickly separated and their faces went red.
Sam said as he was still blushing, "so…. You saw that as well?"
Hordak nodded with a blush on his face.
He said, "I think I caught a glimpse of…. Our mouths…. Locked?"
Sam said as his entire face was red, "no, not that! I meant…. Did you see that I was training you…. In the ways of the force?"
Hordak nodded and said, "r-right, yes. So, I guess that means…?"
Sam said, "it looks like you'll get that lightsaber after all if you have the force, that means you can become a Jedi, and get your Kyber Crystal in order to build one."
"But a Jedi serves the light side of the force", Hordak asked.
Sam then placed his hand on Hordak's.
"I know there is good in you Hordak", Sam said.
Hordak gave a confused look as he said, "how? How could I be good? I've hurt so many people! I've committed so many terrible sins! How could there be any good in me!"
Sam yelled, "I just know there is! If there weren't, you never would have spared me or the kids!"
Hordak knew that he was right.
Sam and Hordak then saw they were still holding hands, before they let go, and they were once again blushing.
Hordak said, "well, um…. What happens now?"
Sam shrugged his shoulders.
….
An hour later, Sam was standing beside Hordak as he was sitting on his throne, Hamill was on Sam's shoulders.
Sam had heard the attempt to take over Bright Moon had failed, which was good.
The rebels on Etheria have to live, as Antauri once told him; they will be vital in the future in order for the galaxy to be in peace again.
Also, Shadow Weaver had been imprisoned for attempting to defy Hordak's orders again.
Sam then turned to see Catra, Scorpia, and Entrapta approaching.
"Force Captain, it seems your experiment has failed", Hordak said.
"ON THE CONTRARY! The experiment was a huge success, I know more about the first one's tech than ever, this is Just the beginning", Entrapta said.
"I got us closer to conquering Bright Moon than anyone ever has, not to mention the Whispering Woods is still in ruins. Etheria is ours for the taking", Catra said.
Sam chuckled.
Catra asked, "something funny, Skywalker?"
Sam said, "oh, nothing much. I'm just waiting to see, A; how your plans blow up in your face. And B; how long it'll take before most of you join up with the Rebels."
Catra said, "why you-!"
Hordak said, "enough. Bickering isn't getting us anywhere."
"I had enough on my hands with your niece and nephew asking about you", Catra said.
Sam asked, "what?"
"They demanded to know where you were, but I didn't tell them", Catra said.
"Catra…. Did you hurt them...", Sam asked with anger slowly rising from his voice.
Catra chuckled nervously as she backed away.
Sam yelled, "DID YOU HURT THEM!?"
Catra started saying, "nononono! I didn't hurt them! I fought them, but I didn't land a single strike on them! My attention was all on Adora!"
"Good, cause I swear, if any one of you lay a hand on them I will….", Sam said before Hordak placed his hand on his shoulder.
"I will speak with them, calm down Sam", Hordak said.
Sam sighed as he walked off back to his room.
Catra and the others all looked confused by the friendly gesture thay Hordak had done.
Hordak said, "now, what plans do we have?"
"No other plans as of now", Scorpia said.
"Well first of all…. I THOUGHT I MADE IT CLEAR NO HARM WAS TO COME UPON THE TWINS", Hordak roared.
Catra, Scorpia and Entrapta all were now scared.
"But…. I didn't lay a hand on them…. I swear", Catra said, scared.
"I didn't lay a hand on them either", Scorpia said.
Hordak said, "good. Because if a single hair is left out of place on their heads, none of you will last long after I'm through with you!"
Entrapta asked, "why does Hordak care so much for Sam?"
"Uh well….", Catra was about to say.
"Because Hordak has a crush on him", Scorpia said out loud again.
Hordak's entire face went red.
Entrapta's eyes sparkled with excitement then she started to gush about it.
She exclaimed, "ohmygod, ohmygod, ohmygod! That is the most adorable thing I have ever seen! And so romantic! Two enemies, finding comfort in one another, leading to a strong bond of love and trust!"
"I do not have a c-crush on him", Hordak yelled.
Scorpia asked, "then why are you always so nice to Sam?"
Catra teased, "and why do you protect the twins as well?"
"Because…. I….", Hordak said as he blushed even more.
Entrapta started to gush even more.
She said, "oh, that blush is so cute, I can't get over it, this is the most adorable thing I have ever seen! Ohmygosh! Ohmygosh! Ohmygosh!"
Hordak shouted, "shut up!"
Catra snickered while Scorpia and Entrapta both had giddy expressions on their faces.
Sam had heard the entire conversation and his entire face was red as well.
Hamill let out a few bleeps.
"Stop it Hamill", Sam whispered.
Hamill started making kissy faces as Sam rolled his eyes and ran off towards his room.
Sam couldn't stop blushing at the thought of him and Hordak being together.
Sam asked, "could I truly move on from Quarrie?"
"You must listen to your heart, Sam."
Sam turned around to see Antauri.
"Antauri", Sam said.
Antauri said, "Quarrie would want you to be happy, Sam. I know he would."
Sam said, "I know they would…. I just feel guilty about finding love again. Quarrie and I were never intimate, but our love was strong."
"Like I said Sam, one day the Jedi code would need to change", Antauri said.
Sam said, "with no code…. I could pursue a relationship further…. But I'm not sure if I can move on. Even if I got Quarrie's blessing, I wouldn't be sure."
"Sam, if you feel something for Hordak…. Then listen to that feeling", Antauri said.
"But….", Sam said.
"When the time is right, you two will confess your feelings", Antauri said.
Sam asked, "but how will I know when the time is right?"
Antauri smiled and said, "you won't. It's a leap of faith. But once you take that leap…. You'll be glad you did."
Sam asked, "but what would the others think? Luke? Leia? Adora? And the Jedi? Would they hate…. Me?"
Antauri then hugged Sam.
He said, "no, my friend. They would not. They only want you to find happiness. We all do."
Sam asked, "but what if things don't work out?"
Antauri answered, "well, you'll never know, if you never try."
Sam couldn't stop crying from the comfort Antauri was giving him, and he kept hugging Antauri.
"There, there, my son", Antauri said.
"Thanks for being there for me Antauri, you have been like a father to me", Sam said.
Antauri smiled and said, "I'll always be there for you, Sam. Even when you can't see me."
"I don't know what I would do without you, Antauri", Sam said as he hugged Antauri still.
Antauri gave a sad smile as he said, "you won't have to worry about that…. Not for a long time."
….
On Tython.
Obi Wan asked, "Etheria?"
"It's the only clue I got in the vision I had. Sam and the twins might be there", Ahsoka said.
Leon asked, "have you heard about that planet?"
Obi Wan, Luminara, Kit Fisto, Shaak Ti and Plo Koon gave a nod of their heads.
Ahsoka asled, "what's the story on that planet?"
Shaak Ti replied, "it was a planet that was around long before the days of the Old Republic, with a magic similar to the force surrounding it."
Luminara added, "it's said a powerful warrior with golden hair and a magic sword aided the Jedi many times, before the planet mysteriously disappeared from the system."
Leon asked, "but if it disappeared from the system, how are we going to find Sam and the twins?"
"It has to be out there somewhere", Ahsoka said.
Plo Koon said, "we can only hope that the force will point us in the right direction."
Leon asked, "how is it going so far here?"
"We have been training the younglings and other Jedi to prepare for the day we will return to save the galaxy", Kit Fisto said.
"Thanks to Sam, we were able to rescue the clones on Kamino and the embryos, they are also undergoing training", Shaak Ti said.
"We have been building enough Star Destroyer ships for the day we will reveal ourselves", Obi Wan said.
"But the Force will tell you when it is time to reveal yourselves to the empire", Ahsoka said.
Shaak Ti said, "indeed. We can only hope that when the time comes, we will all be ready."
Luminara said, "we've also been modifying the Jedi Code. Sam made good points about it needing to be changed if the Jedi order is to survive."
"Sam was right about the code all along, it's no wonder the people of the galaxy started to lose faith in the Jedi during the clone wars", Ahsoka said.
Kit Fisto said, "indeed. And so, we've made changes."
Shaak Ti said, "Jedi are allowed to have relationships now."
Luminara said, "and we no longer close ourselves off to so many emotions."
"Sounds good. Well, I'll go start preparing the ship", Ahsoka said as she walked away.
Plo Koon asked, "you said you had something else to tell us?"
Leon had a grim look on his face.
Aayla asked, "what's wrong?"
"Vader knows about…. Luke and Leia", Leon said.
The other Jedi all gasped in shock.
Obi Wan asked, "are you sure?"
Leon nodded and said, "Bane intercepted a radio frequency from the Empire. Vader now knows of his children, and is searching the entire galaxy for them."
"But does Ahsoka know Vader is….", Luminara asked.
"She doesn't know that Vader is Anakin. I don't have the heart to tell her", Leon said.
"I can imagine how heartbroken little Soka will be when she learns the truth", Plo Koon said.
"But what can we do? We can't let Vader find Luke and Leia", Aayla said.
"Aayla, calm down", Bly said as he held her hand.
Leon said, "Ahsoka says she saw people helping Sam and the kids. They'll most likely be able to protect them from Vader if and when he finds out where they are."
"That's good news, at least", Obi Wan said.
"We have to go, we don't want the empire to know you're all here", Leon said.
"Leon, if Vader finds out where Sam and the Twins are, let us know", Shaak Ti said.
Leon nodded and said, "understood. For now, everyone, be on alert. The Empire might arrive in this system."
"For the day we reveal ourselves, we'll make sure they never find Tython", Obi Wan said.
"May the force be with you", Kit Fisto said.
Leon said, "and you as well, old friends."
Leon followed Ahsoka to their ship, eager to return to the search for Sam and the kids.
….
"Hordak, please let me speak with Luke and Leia", Sam pleaded.
Sam had been pleading for Hordak to allow him to speak with the twins, and let them know he was alright.
But Hordak was stubborn as hell.
Hordak said, "I keep telling you Sam, no! I can't risk an incident between us and the rebels!"
"But I won't need to leave! I can speak with them through Hamill and that way...", Sam said before Hordak interrupted him again.
"No! The Rebels have tried various times to break into the Fright Zone to get to you! I won't allow it", Hordak shouted.
"Hordak Please! It's been a month since Luke and Leia have heard from me, please just let me speak with them", Sam shouted with tears falling down his face as he held Hordak's hands.
Hordak was shocked to see Sam crying so hard over this, and that he was holding his hands with such a pleading look.
"Please, they mean everything in the galaxy to me", Sam cried.
Hordak studied the begging look Sam held as his eyes were bloodshot, and filled with tears.
Hordak tried to make a choice as he gazed upon Sam.
Hordak asked, "they really mean that much to you?"
"They're the last family I have left, after I lost my mother and twin brother", Sam said as he still held Hordak's hands, "please let me speak with them. I promise I won't try to do anything", Sam said with tears in his eyes.
Hordak tried to steel his gaze, but Sam's tears finally broke down his walls.
Hordak said, "ngh, FINE!"
Sam asked, "r-really?"
"You can speak with them", Hordak said.
Sam had a happy look on his face.
"But I will be here during the entire conversation, to make sure you don't try anything", Hordak said.
"Thank you Hordak", Sam cried as he hugged Hordak.
Hordak was shocked to receive such a warm gesture, but slowly hugged Sam back with a smile crawling onto his face.
Hamill and Imp then broke the silence, both of them laughing at Sam and Hordak.
Their faces went red as the two were blushing so hard. The two broke their hug after a few moments, but lingered close to one another for a few moments.
Hamill then walked forward as Sam started to type in the codes.
….
Luke and Leia were in their room. They had spent the entire day training with Adora and Light Hope.
They were still thinking of a plan to free their Uncle.
"Hey there."
Luke and Leia turned to see Adora holding a tray.
"I brought you two dinner", Adora said.
Adora has really been protecting the twins. Bow and Glimmer tease Adora at times and call her a mother hen.
"Thanks Adora", Luke said.
Adora smiled.
"I know you two are worried, but I promise, we will save Sam", Adora said.
As the twins grabbed their food, Leia accidentally said, "thanks mom-"
All three of them grew wide-eyed at what slipped out of Leia's mouth.
Leia tried to say, "I'm sorry, I uh, I just-"
"No, it's okay Leia", Adora said.
"But Adora, you have been the closest thing we have had to a mother in our lives. I just couldn't help calling you mother", Leia said.
"My sister is right. You have been caring for us like a mother would", Luke said.
Adora said, "well, I promised to take care of you two while tour Uncle was gone. And I intend to keep that promise."
Luke and Leia both hugged Adora.
Artoo and Threepio came running into the room. Behind them was Glimmer and Bow.
Adora asked, "what's wrong?"
"We have good news", Bow said.
Luke asked, "what is it?"
Threepio then walked forward.
He said, "we have received a message from Master Sam!"
The twins looked at each other with smiles that went from ear to ear!
"How is that possible!? Did he escape!?", Adora said with joy in voice.
"We are not certain, but we have to see", Threepio said.
"Well play the message", Leia said.
Artoo then rolled forward and started to play the message….
Everyone grew happy looks, as they saw the hologram of Sam standing there with a melancholy look upon his face.
"Uncle Sam", Luke and Leia shouted.
"Luke! Leia! I'm so glad to see you two are okay", Sam said.
"We're okay, thanks to Adora and her friends", Luke said.
"And also thanks to your training, Uncle", Leia said.
"Adora thank you for protecting them", Sam said.
"I promised you that I would protect them if something ever happened to you Sam, and I intend to keep that promise", Adora said.
Glimmer asked, "so what happened, were you and Hamill able to escape Hordak?"
Sam said, "er, not quite. I was able to convince him to let me talk to you all."
Adora said, "wait! Wait! Waitwaitwait…. Hordak…. HORDAK…. Let you call us?"
"Yes", Sam said.
Glimmer said, "how?!"
"I'd rather not talk about it", Sam said as he blushed.
"Don't worry Uncle Sam, we are coming to rescue you", Luke said.
"No, don't come to the Fright Zone", Sam said.
Adora asked, "why? Is Hordak threatening you?"
"No, he's not…. I promised to stay with him", Sam said.
Everyone in the room shouted, "what!?"
Leia asked, "but Uncle, why?"
Sam sighed, as he knew he was going to give his family and friends a very, long explanation….
….
One long explanation later
Sam said, "and that's everything. I've slowly been able to get through to Hordak as I've been here. With any luck, he may turn away from his path of villainy."
"I still can't believe what I'm hearing", Bow said.
"Look's like Antauri was right…. There might be good in Hordak after all", Adora said.
"But we want to see you Uncle, we can't leave you there", Leia said.
"No Leia, I promised to stay with Hordak, I will try to convince him, to allow me to call you and Luke once in a while", Sam said.
"Uncle….", Luke said.
"Don't cry", Sam said.
Adora then hugged Luke and Leia.
"I have to go", Sam said.
Leia said, "promise that you'll call again as soon as you can!"
Sam said, "I will. I promise. I love you both so much. May the force be with you, my two little Jedi."
The call then ended.
Luke and Leia broke down crying.
Adora hugged the two.
"There, there, at least we know he is okay", Adora said.
"Adora's right, at least Hordak isn't doing anything bad to Sam", Bow said.
Glimmer said, "which means Sam may be right about winning Hordak and his team over to our side."
Artoo bleeped something that made Threepio say, "you what!? How can you like those Scorpia and Catra girls? The first can be quite a brute, and the second can he quite rude!"
The group chuckled at the droids.
….
Right after talking with the twins, Sam broke down crying as he fell to the floor.
Hordak couldn't help but walk over to him, and hug him close to his chest.
"There, there", Hordak said.
Sam cried as he said, "those two are like my own children. I've watched over them since birth. I was there for everything. Their first steps. Their first words. When they first scraped their knees, or got into a fight with other younglings. They're more than my niece and nephew. I see them as if they were my son and daughter."
Hordak kept hugging Sam close to him.
"You never cease to amaze me Sam", Hordak asked.
Sam asked, "what do you mean?"
Hordak replied, "I don't think I've ever met someone so kind, or generous."
Sam asked, "no one has ever been kind to you or generous? Not even those in the Horde?"
Hordak sat next to Sam as he said, "ha! Hardly. The Horde isn't what you'd call…. Friendly. I never had a family to show me kindness…. No-one to teach me certain things…. No-one to love…."
"I can help with you that Hordak", Sam said as he placed his hand on Hordak's hand, and the two stood up.
Hordak began to blush deeply as he and Sam gazed upon one another.
Imp then screeched, causing the two to break their gaze.
"Well, back to work I guess", Sam said.
"Wait, Sam", Hordak said.
Sam asked, "what?"
Hordak then removed the collar from Sam's neck.
"Hordak….", Sam said.
Hordak said, "I trust you…. Please…. Don't make me regret it."
Sam nodded as he said, "thank you", while rubbing the light marks the collar left on his neck.
Hordak asked, "does your neck hurt?"
He then touched the light marks.
"No, it doesn't hurt at all", Sam said.
Hordak said, "good. I'm glad you're not hurt. I was worried the collar would hurt you."
"These collars don't hurt at all, they only cut off the user's connection to the force", Sam said.
Sam noticed Hordak still had his hand on his neck, the two then looked away and started to blush.
….
A few days later.
Luke and Leia, along with Artoo and Threepio joined Adora and her friends on their mission to Alwyn. The Rebels had lost contact with the outpost 1 week ago.
When the group arrived there, the village was abandoned and there was no one there.
Then they started to see strange blue figures, which at first they thought to be ghosts.
But Bow later found out they were just holograms.
Bow examines a pyramidal spire in the middle of town with Glimmer, She-Ra, and Swift Wind looking on. Bow pulls away roots covering the spire.
"This is it! The noise is coming from here", Swift Wind said.
"It looks like Light Hope's beacon", She-Ra said.
"No wonder it looked familiar", Leia said.
Luke looked at Threepio and asked, "Threepio, can you figure out any of this tech?"
Threepio replied, "I am not sure. Most of Etheria's technology is confusing to me."
"I think I can translate it", She-Ra said.
She-Ra was listening to what the Jedi was saying.
Glimmer asked, "what does it say?"
"The Jedi are saying…. Head back to the Jedi Temple, there is a meeting between the Jedi and the First ones", She Ra said.
"Looks like the stories were true…. There were Jedi on Etheria", Luke said.
Bow said, "it looks like we're taking a trip to this Jedi temple. Wherever it is..."
Leia said, "I'm sure we'll find it. Force knows that the Horde soldiers probably will be looking for it as well."
Luke said "but I really would like to know what happened to them."
Leia asked, "what led to the Jedi of Etheria to disappear?"
The holograms then fade away.
"Lay it at rest for now", She-Ra said.
"The farmers must have fled from the 'ghosts' when this thing turned itself on. We should be able to get them a message that it's safe to return", Bow said.
"Way to go! I think the Rebellion is going to do just fine with you, Bow", Glimmer said.
"Thanks, Glimmer! Now that the antenna is powered down, everything should be back to normal", Bow said.
….
At the Fright zone.
"Entrapta, I don't think….", Sam whispered.
"Shhh! I must try to figure out how this machine works", Entrapta said.
Hordak's portal machine had once again failed and Entrapta was now attempting to fix it.
A shadow then fell over them.
"Uh oh", Sam said.
"Hello. You're blocking my light. If you could just step aside…." Entrapta said as she lifted her mask.
"Get…. OUT", Hordak shouted.
"Well, just a sec. I'm almost finished"; Entrapta said as she didn't seem to be scared of Hordak.
Both Sam and Hordak had shocked looks on their faces.
Entrapta seemed to have utterly no fear of the man who had held her and Sam captive for so long!
"Okay. All done. Byyyee", Entrapta said.
Hordak scowls as she begins to walk away.
"There will be dire consequences for this flagrant breach of conduct", Hordak said.
"You were using uninsulated cables. I, uh, replaced them for you. Try it again. It should hold the charge, now", Entrapta said.
The doors close behind her, and Hordak looks stunned and bemused. Curiously, he approaches the machinery and throws the master lever. At first nothing happens, and he frowns, turning to walk away. But then, the machine activates, and the glowing orb forms, holding smoothly and stably with a constant luminosity.
"She was…. Right", Hordak said.
"Entrapta is smart", Sam said.
"Of course I was right!"
Entrapta was right behind the two.
Entrapta asked, "it's beautiful! It's a power source, isn't it? What are you building that needs so much power?"
Hordak struggles for a reply, but she is already across the room, studying the displays.
Entrapta asked, "I recognize these formulas. You're experimenting with portals? But that's…. I mean, I'm familiar with the concept, but multidimensional gates are purely theoretical. No one's ever come close to actually achieving one. Right?"
"Obviously, someone from a backwater planet such as yours couldn't possibly comprehend it", Hordak said.
"Hey, don't call Entrapta that", Sam said.
"Hey! All right. I'm the one who got your power source working, so…. Tell me everything", Entrapta said.
"Portals aren't theoretical. They're real. And I'm going to open one", Hordak said.
"That's amazing", Sam said.
"You are?! Ahhhhh. Can I help you?! Ah, just think of the possibilities! You could…. Transport troops, and, and weapons…. Whatever you need from one side of the planet to the other", Entrapta said.
"You think too small. Unsurprising. You can't begin to understand the potential a device of this nature will possess", Hordak said.
Entrapta asked, "wait! If Etheria is a backwater planet, does that mean there are others?"
"Of course. There are countless galaxies filled with countless other worlds. Etheria is the only planet I've ever encountered that does not seem to understand that", Hordak said.
Entrapta asked, "other planets? And you've…. Been there?"
Hordak only smiles.
Sam said, "I mean, it's pretty obvious other planets exist, considering I'm from another part of the galaxy."
Entrapta said, "oh! Right, I almost forgot about that."
Sam shrugged and said, "the closest we had to this kind of portal tech was hyperdrive. But even then, it had its limits as to where it could take the ship."
Entrapta said, "interesting!"
Hordak said, "well, with this kind of technology, I could travel anywhere but the galaxy. Travel to new worlds in the blink of an eye! The possibilities are endless!"
Sam asked, as he placed his hand on Entrapta's shoulder, "so, Entrapta, have you been able to find anything on where the Jedi Temple could be?"
Hordak couldn't help but feel…. A bit bothered at seeing this.
Was he feeling jealous?
Entrapta said, "well, the location is pinpointed in one of the more mystical areas of the planet. But I'll have to do more research on it."
Sam said, "well, take as much time as you need. We wanna find a definitive location."
"Thanks Sam", Entrapta said as she hugged Sam.
Hordak couldn't stop that jealous feeling from rising in his chest.
"Well…. Keep searching on the location for the temple", Hordak said.
Hordak sped out of the room, confusing both Sam and Entrapta.
She asked, "what was that about?"
To which he replied, "I'm…. Not sure. I'll go and check."
Sam quickly followed Hordak, wanting to know what he was so angry about.
Hordak was then in his room.
Hordak whispered to himself, "what's wrong with me?"
"Hordak are you okay?"
Hordak turned to see Sam inside his room.
Hordak said, "fine! I'm fine…. W-what're you doing here?"
Sam replied, "you looked troubled. I wanted to make sure that you were alright."
"I'm fine", Hordak said.
"Hordak….", Sam said as he grabbed his hand.
"I can feel something is bothering you, I'm won't leave this room, until you tell me what's bothering you", Sam said.
Hordak felt himself trembling as he said, "you were being…. Quite close…. To Entrapta."
Sam asked, "that's what's bothering you? Hordak, I have no romantic feelings for Entrapta. She is more like a sister to me."
Hordak blushed.
"I'm sorry Sam, I just couldn't help it", Hordak said.
Sam then held Hordak's hands in his.
"There's nothing to be jealous about Hordak. Entrapta and I are close, as siblings…. It's just that Entrapta reminds me so much of Ahsoka", Sam said.
Hordak said, "Ahsoka?"
Sam said, "when I first became a Jedi, I made two best friends. Leon and Ahsoka. They were like a brother and sister to me. Ahsoka was always so excited about various things. Like Entrapta."
Hordak asked, "you were close to them?"
"Yeah, we did almost everything together, we all went to get our crystals for lightsabers at the same time, we always trained together", Sam said.
Hordak had a small smile on his face.
"Though I and Leon did become Jedi Knights first before Ahsoka, she had become a Padawan at the start of the Clone Wars and Anakin was her master", Sam said.
Hordak said, "your brother?"
Sam said, "yeah. Heh, it's kinda funny. Anakin and I were twins, and yet he got a padawan first. Then again, he was always the more skilled in battle."
Hordak asked, "what happened to them?"
Sam sighed.
"Well first of all, Ahsoka did survive order 66, but…. She had left the Jedi Order way before the purge happened", Sam said.
Hordak asked, "she left? Why?"
Sam answered, "she and Leon had a secret relationship during the clone wars. Add that to her getting pregnant, and how her trust in the Jedi had grown unsure, she and Leon left the order."
Hordak asked, "what do you mean her trust in the jedi was unsure?"
"Near the end of the 3rd year of the clone wars, the Jedi Temple was bombed, and Ahsoka had been framed for it. Ahsoka had to go on the run, to prove her innocence, but the Jedi quickly lost faith in her, and they didn't give her a chance, and they expelled her from the order", Sam said.
Hordak asked, "but who framed her?"
Sam said, "an old friend named Barriss Offee. She was a fellow Jedi, who was corrupted by the dark side. In a twisted goal to be with Leon, she tried to frame Ahsoka."
Hordak found that to be a bit sick and cruel.
"That was so…. Unwise", Hordak said.
"I know. When Barriss was brought to the court, she gave a speech. To others it may have sounded crazy, but Ahsoka, Leon and I knew that a few of her words were right", Sam said.
Hordak asked, "right about what?"
"That the Jedi Order had lost their way and the Republic was failing", Sam said.
Hordak asked, "what do you mean the order lost their way?"
Sam replied, "the Jedi forbade attachments and relationships, but in doing so, they alienated themselves from others and many Jedi who fell to the dark side because they were emotional. It's also because they were too involved in politics, they were no longer following the will of the force."
Hordak asked, "what happened after Ahsoka was proven to be innocent?"
"She was offered a place back into the order, but as a Jedi Knight, but the Council didn't apologize for their actions, they instead said what had happened to her was a great trial of the force", Sam said.
Hordak looked a bit shocked and angry.
Hordak said, "those idiots."
Sam said, "well, the Jedi order wasn't perfect. But hopefully, if we can win the war against the Empire, the Jedi can come back with a better code to follow."
Sam then noticed the two were still holding hands.
The two then let go and were blushing.
Sam said, with a blush on his face, "this has become…. A habit of ours, hasn't it?"
"It has", Hordak said with a blush on his face.
….
A few days later.
Adora, Glimmer, Luke, Leia and their droids had come to visit Bow and his two dads. They learned Bow never told them he was fighting for the rebels.
But during an incident which led to an old First one's droid to activate, Bow did then reveal the truth to his dads, and they accepted him for who he is.
George asked, "now you said you wanted to know something else?"
Luke asked, "we want to learn more about the Jedi Temple on Etheria and where it could be?"
Leia said, "chances are that if we find it, so will Hordak's group. And that might give us a chance to see Uncle Sam again."
Artoo bleeped an agreement.
"Hmmm, wait here", Lance said as he ran to the library and he came back.
Bow asked, "what's that?"
"Wait, that's a Holocron", Luke said.
Lance asked, "Holocron? So that's what this is called?"
Leia replied, "yeah! Holocrons are what the Jedi use to store all of their information. A great number of them were destroyed or used by the Empire after Order 66."
Threepio said, "indeed. And this may lead us to the Jedi temple on Etheria!"
Adora asked, "well how do we activate it?"
"Let us try", Luke said.
Both Luke and Leia sat down on the floor with their knees crossed.
George asked, "what're they doing?"
Glimmer said, "meditating. Jedi do it when they need something involving temples or whatever."
For a few moments nothing happened until….
"Wait, I think it's opening", Glimmer said.
The holocron was indeed opening!
The blue light of the small box glowed brightly as it opened up, and began to show a map of Etheria!
Bow, "woah..."
"It's a map of Etheria", Lance said.
Luke asked, "Adora, can you read it?"
"It could tell us where the Jedi Temple is located", Bow said.
Adora looked at the map, and saw a blinking light on it.
Adora said, "that must be it. The temple is right there on the map!"
"Well, be careful there", George said.
Bow asked, "why?"
"Where the Jedi temple is located, is said to be guarded by something inside", Lance said.
George said, "we're not sure what kind of guardian. It could be some sort of monster or machine. Either way, all of you be careful."
The others nodded, eager to jump into their next mission….

So here is where we get a few more changes being set up, as well as furthering the various story threads later on. Namely, Horde Prime goes through a redemption later on.
