Shout out to Anti-Mage 29. I am aware of that Dragoncaller Magician only doubles of the monster they are fighting is a Dragon-Type, but for this fanfic, I decided to make one minor change that wasn't worth mentioning. Besides, we only saw him once during the anime. So don't get too angry.
Sector Security Headquarters - New Domino City - Synchro Dimension
Hydromancy arrived on the rooftop of a building overlooking Security HQ, where Yuri, Madame Chaos, and Lady Minerva soon joined her.
"Sorry I'm late." Apologized Hydromancy in her usual neutral monotone. "It took a little longer than expected to get as many of our troops into The Facility before we locked down."
"It's quite alright, we've been enjoying the events that have been going on in the tournament's final round while waiting." Madame Chaos assured.
"Roget has lost his only pawn left and the Securites will soon be lost to him. Let us retrieve our consolation prizes before the Lancers are the wiser." Lady Minerva advised them of their next course of action. "But first, I'll let him have control over the Securities in the area near the Duel Palace so he doesn't suspect us."
Meanwhile in his office, Roget furiously slammed his fist into his keyboard. "To the protesters who disagree with my rule... Who think they have the right to stand in defiance against me... Let me remind you all..." Roget stood up with a look that promised only madness. "That I, Jean-Michel Roget, am the one and only person who decides what happens in my city! So if you're not backing down, I will be forced to break you down!"
Duel Palace - New Domino City - Synchro Dimension
The Securities were still fighting the Commons and preventing them from entering the Duel Palace. Firing on them with Goyo Catapults with Goyo Defenders barricading them.
Roget then gave his order to them. {{Attention all Sector Security units... Enter the Duel Palace and arrest Yuya, Jack, and the rest of the traitors.}} Following that order, the Securities stopped what they were doing and entered the Duel Palace without a word.
"Guess they got scared and decided to hightail it outta here." A Common with standing magenta hair suggested. One of the Commons, one with a ginger mohawk, said as they started to run after the officers, "They can run, but they can't hide! Let's get 'em!" The mob of angry Commons ran into the Duel Palace. One of them yelled, "Time to rock and roll 'em!"
"Looks like Security's finally found us! We can't let them stop Yuya from duelin' Jack when the whole city's watching!" Gong yelled as his Superheavy Samurai Warlord Susanowo unleashed a mighty gale from its naginata at a Jutte Lord, destroying it. "You're up Sylvio!"
"Sylvio's up! And he's ready to bring the house down!" Sylvio swung his left arm across his chest as he declared an attack. "Action! Abyss Actor - Superstar, upstage the competition!" Superstar, equipped with Abyss Script - Fantasy Magic, dived from the sky and did a corkscrew on a Jutte Fighter before landing on one knee and arms spread wide.
Chojiro ordered his ace monster to destroy a Goyo Defender. "Flower Cardian Lightshower, time for you to slice and dice!" After slashing the Goyo Defender and tossing it into the air, Lightshower sheathed its blade, wearing a small grin.
"Whaddya say to knocking around some Securities, Crow?" Yugo smugly asked the Blackwing duelist. "Trust me, Yugo. Nothing would make me happier." Assault Blackwing - Raikiri the Rain Shower struck down a monster group led by a Goyo Guardian as Hi-Speedroid Kendama provided cover by shooting rounds of rapid fire at other incoming Security monsters.
Declan put his foot down as he said, "Enough tiptoeing around, it's time to end this once and for all!" Fixing his glasses, he coolly turned while he gave his order. "Ragnorak attack! Show them who reigns supreme!" D/D/D Wave Oblivion King Caesar Ragnarok unleashed its Savage Retribution, six blue energy circles around a seventh larger one, on a Goyo King, while Declan turned around and adjusted his glasses as it fell back.

An explosion appeared behind the Lancers and Chojiro, creating a dramatic scene.
"Who do these Lancers think they are?" Roget was horrified as he watched on his monitor at how the Lancers decimated his forces. "Their interference is going to ruin everything!"
Duel Palace - New Domino City - Synchro Dimension
The Topsiders were astounded and shocked at the Lancers' work. Most of the Securities were down groaning, except for one that faced a heavily breathing Riley with a Goyo Catapult.
"Riley!" Yuya, turning away from Amanda, Frank, and Sam, saw Riley and tried to go to him but was held back by his right shoulder by Declan.
"Sector Security..." Riley then looked at Atlas' throne and remembered what Jack told him at dinner a few days ago. "If you've got the stuff, kid. Then don't be afraid to use it, 'cause when you do, there won't be anybody who'll be able to stop you." Riley was full of determination after that flashback.
"Listen up, Sector Security! You don't have a chance of beating me!" Riley's Critical Tuning spell with the Security's Goyo Catapult was then tuned with C/C Critical Eye. "I'm gonna be gritty, just like Jack said, so watch out! I Synchro Summon! C/C/C Rock Blaster of Battle! Here goes. Rock Blaster of Battle, come on, let's rock this battle!" With that, Rock Blaster of Battle annihilated Security's Goyo Catapult, which brought a smile to Jack's face. Turning to the group, he saw them smiling at him, especially his adoptive older brother. "Pretty good, huh?"
The Commons were shocked. "Whoa... those guys trashed Security! They totally hammered 'em." A green-haired Common commented. The Commons with the magenta hair said, "Then there's nobody left to stop us from taking over this place!" The mohawk Common agreed. "Oh, yeah! And the first thing we oughta do is empty out the trash!"
The Topsiders were frightened. The green-haired Common then said to them, "That means you Topsiders are getting the heave ho!" The ginger-haired Common then told the others, "Let's show them who's boss!" The Commons then charged.
{{BACK OFF!}} The Commons halted upon seeing a giant hologram of Jack berating them. {{Let me make one thing perfectly clear... In the Duel Palace, there are only battles on the track, not off the track.}} Everyone had their attention directed to Jack. {{Everybody is equal here, so no one is kicking anyone out, but if you want to watch my duel, both Commons and Topsiders alike, then you are more than welcome to stay. The Friendship Cup has to have a champion. And tonight we shall find out who! So get set to watch the duel of your lives New Domino!}}
A little while later, Melissa was about to board her helicopter as she started to think to herself. "If Jack says this battle's gonna be the duel of our lives, I better bring on the broadcasting! This battle's gonna crown a champion tonight and I've gotta give the rootin'est, tootin'est commentary this city has ever seen! Now, this hasn't been the friendliest of Friendship Cups, I mean, it was supposed to bring the city together as one, to have some fun!" Melissa boarded her helicopter as she thought that. "Maybe it's not too late."
Melissa began her introductions of the participants as they began to make their entrances. "Ladies and gents, young'uns and youngettes... Exploding into the scene is Yuya Sakaki!" Yuya emerged, riding his red Duel Runner.
"You've gotta win this, Yuya!" Frank shouted. Amanda added, "So that means no losing!"
"Y'know what I need, Tokmuatsu? An agent. I'm just as good a duelist as Yuya is but he's the one who gets all the top gigs!" Sylvio complained. Chojiro teased, "Before you find an agent, you might want to find some talent first. Maybe take a class or two. Am I right, Sam?" "Seems like a tall order if you ask me." Sam replied. Sylvio got annoyed with that. "Listen, pipsqueak! I have more talent in my little finger than Yuya has in his entire body!"
Gong shouted, getting the others' attention, "Quiet! Here comes a real star. Jack Atlas is about to make his entrance."
Melissa commentated as Jack made his entrance, with the monitors all showing him. "And now, soaring through the sky is my hero, your hero, and even your cats' and dogs' hero, Jack Atlas!" Jack's entrance was met with a roar of cheering and applause.
Jack pointed to the sky and said, "Who's the one Master of Faster? Who rules the duels? That's right, it's me!" A female Topsider dreamily exclaimed, "It's really him!"
"Jack always what it takes to truly fire things up!" Melissa commentated. "He's the pride of this here city, the star of stars, the King of the competition! But he's gonna face his toughest test yet! The Friendship Cup has come full circle! It started with a duel between Yuya and Jack, and this here's their rematch for it all!"
Jack pulled up to Yuya at the starting line. "Hey, there Jack. Long time, no duel!" Yuya greeted with a smile. "You ready to put on a show for these folks?"
"That all depends on you!" Jack's answer surprised Yuya. "So far you've done nothing to impress. You've think you been entertaining the crowd, well guess again! You want to be a dueltainer, but you're nothing but a class clown. And you're the only one laughing." Jack pointed at Yuya with that last sentence.
Yuya rebuffed. "That isn't true, Jack! And I'm not a class clown. I know I have what it takes to put smiles back on the faces of everyone in New Domino City, and my friends know it too!" Shinji smiled from the streets, while Crow agreed from the pitstop. "You tell 'em!" "It's showtime, Jack! And I'm ready to show everyone what dueling is about! A friend told me to dueltain into the hearts of everyone in this city, and that's what I'm going to do!"
"Oh, so you really think you can entertain my crowd?" Jack looked away and said, "You think you got what it takes. We'll see about that. Now, let's swing into action and see if you fall flat on your face!"
"This'll be one finale of a final!" Melissa commented with a smile. "So without further ado... Let's get this rodeo started! Can Yuya Sakaki dueltain his way to victory or will Jack Atlas have the last laugh? The battle begins now!" With a wink, she activated the Action Field. "Let's fire up the Action Field, Crossover Acceleration!
On your marks... Get set... Go!"

Jack got out of the Duel Palace first, so he got the first turn. "I'll kick things into overdrive! By summoning a monster that's sure to help speed my way to victory, Red Sprinter(ATK: 1700/DEF: 1200/LV: 4)! And since this is the only monster on the field, I can summon on level 3 or below tuner monster from my hand. And I choose this one... Reveal yourself... Red Resonator(ATK: 600/DEF: 200/LV: 2)! And watch now as my level 2 Red Resonator tunes with level 4 Red Sprinter! Witness the power of this ultimate paring! Witness the power of my... Synchro Summon! Now rise... Red Wyvern(ATK: 2400/DEF: 2000/LV: 6)!"
"Whoa! Looks like Jack's counting on history repeating itself, because he's making the exact same moves as his first duel against Yuya!" Melissa summarized. "Question is though... Can Yuya rewrite history and give it a different ending this time?" Yuya realized it as well. "That's no accident. It's Jack's way of testing me, to see if I have stepped my game up."
"Now that you've seen my firepower..." Jack resumed after looking back at Yuya. "I'll end my turn." Jack's turn ended with two facedowns. "You're in the spotlight now, Yuya! And it's time to show us how you handle the heat!"
"Thanks, Jack, I will!" Yuya replied back at Jack. "And the crowds are gonna eat it up... My next move's is going to sizzle with excitement!" "Dad, this is for you." Yuya closed his eyes for a minute, then opened them back up. "It's showtime!"
Jack looked back at Yuya and muttered, "We'll see about that."
"The Friendship Cup is just getting going! But the action is already heating up!" Melissa commented on the situation. "Jack Atlas summoned his powerful Red Wyvern and it's ready to roast the competition."
Yuya was thinking to himself about his promise to Zuzu. "Zuzu said that only I could stop the fighting between the Commons and Topsiders. And to do that, I gotta put on a show that will have everyone on the edge of their seats!"
"Here goes!" Yuya said as he drew a card, which started his turn. "Let's get started!" I set the Pendulum Scale with Scale 1 Performapal Gumgumouton(ATK: 900/DEF: 2400/LV: 5/PS: 1) and Scale 5 Performapal Bubblebowwow(ATK: 2300/DEF: 2000/LV: 6/PS: 5)! I'm taking control of this duel, starting now! I'm allowed to summon monsters between levels 2 and 4, all at the same time. Swing far pendulum! Carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready to swing into action!
Seeing is believing, Performapal Bot-Eyes(ATK: 1600/DEF: 1200/LV: 4)! Light up the night, Performapal Fireflux(ATK: 1200/DEF: 1600/LV: 4/PS: 5)! Giddyup and go, Performapal Radish Horse(ATK: 500/DEF: 2000/LV: 4/PS: 3)!
Now, my Bot-Eyes will take on a new identity! It will become the one... the only... Odd-Eyes Dragon!" Bot-Eyes became treated as Odd-Eyes. "By tributing my Fireflux, I can evolve Odd-Eyes Dragon, into Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon(ATK: 2800/DEF: 2000/LV: 7)!"
"So far, so good." Yuya then looked at Smile World in his hand. "And Mom... Dad... I promise it's only going to get better!"
"Ladies and 'gents, may I have your attention please? I now present for your entertainment pleasure a most unusual card... A spell that'll turn your frowns upside down! Now I, Yuya Sakaki, will utilize this lovable, laughable fantastically fun card to get you grinning from ear to ear! So show me those happy faces and your pearly whites!" Yuya joyfully announced but stopped when seeing Jack's frown. "Or not!"
Resuming his joyful attitude, he continued, "Now get ready to get happy, 'cause her comes Smile World!" As Yuya activated his spell, happy faces came out of it. "With this stunningly sunny spell card, all monsters gain 100 attack points for every monster on the field until the ending of the turn."
"That goes for all the monsters on the field... That means Jack's Red Wyvern also gains attack points." Melissa commentated. "Was that smart on Yuya's part?"

"I know Yuya wants to make everyone smile..." Chojiro said with a frown. Gong added, "But Gong didn't think that meant Jack Atlas!" Sylvio slapped his forehead with his right hand. "I'd never make a boneheaded move like that! It's curtains for Yuya!"

"But hold your horses for Radish Horse's special ability! It's blowing its top because Red Wyvern loses 800 attack points!" Yuya's pun activated Radish Horse to fire its radish-like horn above Red Wyvern, causing the shower produced from it to lower its attack points.

"And one monster on my field gets to gain the same number of attack points that it just lost! And I'm giving these extra attack points to Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon!" Yuya raised his hand toward the dragon as it gained more attack points.

Chojiro smiled. "Yuya knew exactly what he was doing all along." Gong added, "'Course he did. If anyone can give Jack a run for his money, it's Yuya." "Yuya played it exactly the way I would have." Sylvio sweated.

"This is certainly a stunning turn of events, folks!" Melissa's commentary was filled with surprise.
Yuya smiled as he felt a warmth he was familiar with. "This duel's been so much fun. It's great to be back on the track and back to doing what I do best, entertaining the crowd and making dad proud! It's time to break this duel wide open!"
Yuya declared his next move. "Odd-Eyes! Trample Red Wyvern!" As the dragon charged, Jack interrupted Yuya's mood. "You're entertaining no one! You haven't learned a thing since our last duel!
I activate the trap King's Synchro! When you attack a synchro monster on my field, King's Synchro stops it cold." A red barrier stopped Saber Dragon's attack. "Then I get to Synchro Summon using Red Wyvern and a tuner monster in my graveyard! I tune level 2 Red Resonator with Level 6 Red Wyvern! Now, from the ancient chasms of a lost world, I awake a great and terrible power... I Synchro Summon... Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend(ATK: 3000/DEF: 2500/LV: 8)!" Jack's ace appeared right beside him.
"Jack's not only shut down Yuya's attack, but he's brought out his most famous flaming monster!"
Following Melissa's commentary, Jack turned his Runner around and looked at Yuya while driving backwards. "I really thought you would have stepped up your game, but your just as clueless as you were last time I destroyed you." Yuya retorted, "That's not true! I have stepped up my game..." Then he halted. "But if I don't have any cards left in my hand, there's nothing left I can really do." "I guess I'll end my turn."

Frank looked in dismay, "Yuya's attack points just got a flat tire." "He needs some roadside assistance!" Amanda added. Melissa commentated Yuya's predicament. "Yuya was all smiles moments ago, but with Smile World's effect gone Jack's done and brought back the doom and gloom!" "Another setback... Aw, man..." Yuya was dismayed upon listening to Melissa.
"What do you expect when you keep relying on your dad's strategies? And not on your own skills!" Jack's outburst hit Yuya hard. "Well, my dad's dueltaining was what made him the greatest champion ever!" "And you're just a poor imitator. Why not dueltain like only you can instead of copying your dad? Be you, Yuya!" A pause occurred before Yuya muttered, "Maybe he's right. I have to be me."
"It's my turn! It seems that I expected entirely too much from this duel. I guess even I make mistakes in judgement sometimes. I activate Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend's special ability! It destroys all monsters, and then delivers 500 points of damage for each one that perished by its flames. Feel the heat!"
Jack's Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend slammed its fiery fist into the ground, causing a giant wave of flames to bellow out toward Yuya.
"I'll admit it's certainly been real, Yuya... disappointing that is!" Jack said to the cloud of smoke that was created from the wave.

{{Jack Atlas just mish-mashed all o' Yuya's monsters, meaning Yuya's day of duelin' are done for!}} Melissa commentary of the apparent result disheartened the kids back at the Duel Palace.
"That's it?!" Frank asked. Sam added, "Yuya lost the duel?" "That can't be!" Amanda commented.
Crow quieted them down. "Calm down, guys." Gong stood patiently in expectation. "Let's wait til the smoke clears."

Yuya emerged from the smoke unscathed. The Action Spell Acceleration was revealed. "I used this Action Spell to zip past your flames, Jack, so I'm still in the game." "With quick thinkin' and shrewd duelin' Yuya pulled the fat out o' the fire!"

This was met with much joy from the children. "Yuya made it!" Amanda exclaimed. Chojiro held his chin in his right hand smiling. "Ah... he had me worried there." "Yuya's not out of the woods yet." Crow countered.

"You may have survived, but your defense didn't. Scarlight Red Archfiend... turn up the heat! Scorch Yuya with Molten Crimson Flare!" Scarlight charged up a mouth of flames and shot a torrent of fire down on Yuya. "Jack's pourin' on the punishment!"
YUYA LP: 4000 = 1000
Yuya grabbed an Action Card before it connected, but it wasn't able to protect him. "I'm activating the Action Spell, Damage Draw! When I take 2000 or more points of damage, I get to draw two cards!"
"But it's two cards too late! There's no amount of cards that can save you now, but don't let that stop you! I end my turn. Take your best shot!" Jack ended his turn with a facedown card. Melissa turned to the camera with a smile as the duelists descended down a rise and onto a level road section of the track. "Yuya's blasted past some of Jack's most blisterin' attacks... but does this youngin' have anything left in the tank?!"
Yuya was in deep thought as he and Jack went into a tunnel. "I've been dueltaining my whole life to bring smiles to the crowd, just like dad did." Yuya then flashed back to what Jack had asked him about dueltaining his own way. "But is it true that I haven't actually learned anything from my dad? That I'm just copying him? That I've never actually dueled on my own?"
Jack began to get impatient. "Hurry up and make your move. I mean your dad's move. Unless of course you have the guts to be your own man! But that's a long shot at best." Filled with determination, Yuya gritted his teeth and replied. "Jack... I'm gonna beat you my way!" "I'll show him that I haven't copied my dad, I learned from him. And I'll use those dueltaining skills to show Jack that I can win and bring the crowd to their feet."
"Watch your back, Jack!" Yuya said as he drew a card. Seeing he drew Tuning Magician(ATK: 0/DEF: 0/LV: 1), Yuya knew what he had to do. "Here goes! I Pendulum Summon! My monsters are ready to swing into action! It's go time, Timebreaker Magician(ATK: 1400/DEF: 0/LV: 3/PS: 2)! Giddyup and go... Performapal Radish Horse! Light up the night, Performapal Fireflux!" Yuya summoned Radish Horse and Fireflux from his Extra Deck and summoned Timebreaker from his hand.
"And here's a monster that oughta jog your memories, Jack! It's Tuning Magician!" Tuning Magician appeared in a playful manner, finishing with her a salute with her left hand in a v formation over her eye. "That's the card I gave him!" Sam exclaimed. "When I summon Tuning Magician, you regain 400 life points while I take 400 points of damage." Tuning Magician rang its fork staff, causing a vibration that gave Jack life points and made Yuya lose life points.

"And since I lost life points, I can summon Mirror Magician(ATK: 800/DEF: 1000/LV: 3/PS: 1)!" Yuya summoned an orange eyed male Spellcaster wearing a blue robe with green stripes wielding a large oval mirror as a shield.
"Jack, you think that I haven't improved my game at all, but I have. You didn't see these new and improved moves coming. Like Sam giving me his Tuning Magician, making my deck stronger." "Okay, prove it to me. Let's see if all this talk carries any weight and can actually fuel you past the Master of Faster!"
Yuya met Jack's challenge. "You'll be in my rear-view mirror in no time because I'm taking this duel to a whole new level! Tuning Magician tunes Radish Horse and Timebreaker Magician! I Synchro Summon! Welcome to the battlefield, Enlightenment Paladin(ATK: 2500/DEF: 2000/LV: 8)!" "I can't believe Yuya was able to use my little Tuning Magician to summon such a powerful monster." Sam admitted.
"Enlightment Paladin, enlighten Jack on what you can do! He lets me take Smile World back from my graveyard! Smile World was the key to my dad's dueltaining, and it's the key to my dueltaining too. And when the time's right, it be the key... to your defeat." Jack just scoffed.
"And that's not all! I now activate Mirror Magician's special ability! It can copy the Type of a monster in my graveyard, and I choose Tuning Magician." Tuning Magician showed up as a reflection in Mirror Magician's mirror, turning it into a tuner monster.
"Yugo, let's do this together!" "I tune level 3 Mirror Magician with level 4 Performapal Fireflux! Beat your wings to whip up a whirlwind of destruction! I Synchro Summon! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon(ATK: 2500/DEF: 2000/LV: 7)!" Yuya's summoning of his dragon made Yugo very happy. "Alright! Yuya was able to summon my Clear Wing!"
Melissa opened her mouth wide. "Yuya has not just Synchro Summoned not just one powerhouse but twice!" Jack said with sarcasm, "So you are depending on your last opponent to bail you out, you haven't improved at all have you?" "Not true! Yugo entrusted his monster to help me and that's what I'm going to do!" Yuya defended.
"When I use Mirror Magician to Synchro Summon, I can give Clear Wing an 800 attack point power up!"
Clear Wing Synchro Dragon(ATK: 2500 = 3300/DEF: 2000/LV: 7)
"Alright then! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, bring the house down on Red Dragon Archfiend!" The two dragons charged at each other as Jack activated his facedown. "I play the trap Red Gem which prevents my dragon from being destroyed by your predictably pathetic play!" The two dragons clashed, but Scarlight survived as a spirit of a red gem protected it.

"Jack's life points are gonna take a tumble but his dragon is still alive an' kickin'! And Yuya's prob'ly kickin' himself for not pullin' off that attack." Melissa commentated.
"Oh man... I guess I have to end my turn." Yuya cursed.

"It's like Yuya needs training wheels or something." Sylvio noted, with Gong disagreeing. "Yuya is pulling out all the stops in this battle, but Jack's not slowing down for a second, he's just blasting right though like they're not even there. Gong hopes Yuya's got somethin' up his sleeve."

"My dad's dueltaining made him a champion, but my dueltaining's just made me a chump." "Yuya, your dueltaining is nothing... but a joke. A cheap rip-off of your dad's style. Void of anything original." Jack said as he drew a card, starting his turn. "Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend use your special ability to wipe out Yuya's paladin!" Scarlight unleashed a torrent of flame toward Yuya's monsters.
"I'll counter that with Clear Wing's special ability! It negates Scarlight's special ability and destroys it!" Clear Wing got its wings ready with a green light.
"Don't think so!" Jack picked up an Action Card. "I play Monster Seal! Now your Clear Wing is all cleared out of its special abilities." Clear Wing's light fizzled out, allowing the stream of flame to keep on coming.
"I activate Performapal Bubblebowwow's Pendulum Ability! This pooch destroys itself to stop your special ability!" Bubblebowwow sprayed a torrent of pink bubbles as it raised its staff and exploded, which surrounded and protected Yuya's monsters.
"That won't save you!" Jack turned his Phoenix Whirlwind around toward Yuya. "Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend, bring the heat! Roast his Enlightenment Paladin with... Molten Crimson Flare!"
"Nice try! My other pendulum monster uses its special ability! Go, Performapal Gumgumouton! It pulls the wool over your attack and stops it!" Gumgumouton grew green wool to protect Enlightment Paladin. "But you still take damage, Yuya!"
Yuya picked up an Action Card. "I play the Action Spell, Miracle Draw! Not only don't I take any damage, I get to draw two new cards."
"I place one card facedown and end my turn." Jack declared as he turned his Phoenix Whirlwind around, facing forwards. "Using the abilities of your pendulum monsters like that... was the most original thing you've done all duel."
Sector Security Headquarters - New Domino City - Synchro Dimension
Sora, Moon Shadow and Shay inwardly blasted the door of a control room and Moon Shadow and Getsuga, the Shogun burst in and subdued the personal. "Control room secure." Moon Shadow said as he held his sheathed katana.
Riding on one of Frightfur Chimera's heads, Sora came in. "Hey, check it out! That's the mind-control system!" Nodding, Moon Shadow pulled out the spell Fire Release Technique. "And I have just the card to blow it up."
An explosion soon rocked the building, sounding off alarms everywhere. Celina and Zuzu, who were on their way out after Celina knocked out several guards that tried to capture them, felt the shaking of the explosion as they heard the alarms.
"What was that blast? Seems like there's a whole lot going on now." Zuzu wondered in worry. "It doesn't matter. Our priority right now is escaping and returning to the others. If what the guards were saying was accurate, Yuya is currently dueling Jack Atlas. Meaning the others are at the Duel Palace." Celina explained her conclusion after interrogating the guards before incapacitating them.
Zuzu nodded. "You're right. Let's get going!"
"That's what you think!"
Zuzu and Celina gasped as they heard the voice. Turning behind, much to their dismay, was Roget with his green-trimmed, violet Duel Disk, with the violet blade activated. Covering his face with his hands, he revealed a wicked smile that promised only pain to them. Zuzu and Celina didn't need an exchange of words to know what to do the moment they saw that face. They quickly activated their Duel Disks as well.
"Now that it has come to this, I'm not going to let the two of you go!"

The Security facing the Commons were suddenly freed from Roget's mind control, resulting them being confused. "Huh?! What am I doing here?" "And what... are they all doing here?" A male Commons angrily said, "We aren't trick or treating!"
From her helicopter, Melissa saw the Commons angrily approach the bewildered Sector Securities. "Wowza! Looks like Jack and Yuya aren't the only ones tussling in town today!" Some of the Securities started to run away in fear from the mobs.

Following Melissa's report, Declan got up from his seat and motioned his Lancers. "Sylvio and Gong, please come with me. Let's bring peace back to the streets."
"Does that mean you're gonna take down the Commons?" Frank wondered. Crow assured him and Amanda by patting their shoulders. "Don't worry, they wouldn't do anything like that."
"Trust me, when they get a sight of Sylvio the Superstar, they'll drop their Duel Disks and snap a selfie with me." Sylvio assured them with his hands tucked in his pockets. Gong walked out too. "Don't worry about a thing, y'all. Gong's on it."
Riley agreed with determination in his voice. "We're not here to hurt anybody, we're here to help. And that's exactly what we're all gonna do, I promise. Just be sure to have some snacks ready for me when I get back. Saving this city is hungry work." Riley then ran to join with the others, with Declan and Sylvio looking at him for a moment as he came in between them.

"Jack actually gave me a complement." Yuya realized. "Using the abilities of your pendulum monsters like that... was the most original thing you've done all duel."
"The most original thing I've did all duel..." Yuya then remembered the duel with Skip, Zuzu's dad. "Someone's gotta step and do something new. You opened the door to Pendulum Summoning!"
"Oh, yeah! I was the first ever to Pendulum Summon and that was pretty original too." The pendulum pendant underneath his turbo suit was swinging again. "I mean, I've dueltained all my life, but Pendulum Summoning is something unique to me. So when Jack said that I haven't been really dueltaining in my own unique style, he was right. Because my own unique style isn't just dueltaining, it's swinging things my way like no one has ever done before!" The silhouettes of two new monsters appeared behind the shining, swaying pendulum.
"It's time to show you how I, and only I, can duel!" "You had better not disappoint me, Yuya." Jack replied to Yuya's resolve. "Now get on with it already!"
"It's my turn... my way!" Yuya started his turn. "I'm setting the Pendulum Scale with Performapal Gumgumouton and Performapal Marble Fairy(ATK: 100/DEF: 200/LV: 1/PS: 9)! I'm taking control of this duel starting now! I can summon as many level 2 through level 8 monsters as I want. Swing far pendulum. Carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready to swing into action! Let's hear it for Performapal Cheermole(ATK: 600/DEF: 1000/LV: 2/PS: 5)! Turn up the heat, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon(ATK: 2500/DEF: 2000/LV: 7/PS: 4)! Reflect your views, Mirror Magician!

Yuya's declaration caught Jack by surprise. "Have you lost your mind?! Enlightenment Paladin isn't a tuner monster!" "That's where you're wrong! There's a monster I can Synchro Summon only after I Pendulum Summon! This is something unique that only I can do!" Yuya showed his new card, a synchro-pendulum monster. "Unbelievable!" Jack was shocked.
Enlightment Paladin twirled his blades in his hands as he became eight lights that surrounded Cheermole. The Synchro Summon created a bright pillar of light that darkened everything else. "Now I Synchro Summon! Nirvana High Paladin(ATK: 3300/DEF: 2500/LV: 10/PS: 8)!" The moment Nirvana High Paladin was summoned, the clouds were cleared away and a circular rainbow appeared behind the new monster.
The new monster caused Jack to gasp. Melissa commentated, "Well, dunk my bucket! Somehow, someway, Yuya Sakaki has showed us something no one has ever laid eyes on!" Jack then smiled. "Ah, so you're finally dueling your way. It's about time you showed up."
"Mirror Magician, work your magic and make Clear Wing Synchro Dragon the same as Tuning Magician." With that, Clear Wing became a tuner.
"Now what the hay is Yuya planning to do?"
"Nirvana High Paladin... attack Red Dragon Archfiend!" High Paladin extended his greatsword's tip as it created a purple and green twister of light that extended past the blade. "Elysium Elimination!" The twister crashed down on Scarlight as High Paladin slashed its sword.

"Well done, but not too well done. Your attack activated my trap, King Scarlet. Not only does it protect my dragon from destruction, but King Scarlet also transforms into a tuner monster!" King Scarlet(ATK: 0/DEF: 0/LV: 1) appeared as a monster by Jack's side.
"It's too early to think it's over! I'm just getting started!" Yuya then looked at Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, who roared with Odd-Eyes. "Yugo, let's do this together!"
"Now my Marble Fairy's Pendulum Ability activates! I can lower Odd-Eyes' level to 1 and use it to Synchro Summon!"

"So now I'll have my level 7 Clear Wing Synchro Dragon tune my level 1 Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon to bring out another surprise guest!" "Hold on a minute, bucko! Another Synchro Summon?!" Melissa almost lost her footing upon hearing it.
"Dragon with pristine, shining eyes! Spread your wings to brighten the skies! I Synchro Summon! Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon(ATK: 3000/DEF: 2500/LV: 8/PS: 10)!" The fusion of both Yuya's and Yugo's dragons appeared.

The summoning of a new dragon during the battle caused an uproar of cheering in the Duel Palace. None were more excited than Yugo though. "That's awesome! You managed to bring out a new dragon using both of ours! Go get 'em, Yuya!" Yugo loudly cheered while punching the air.

"I activate Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon's special ability! I can destroy your dragon and have Wing Dragon gain attack points equal to its attack points!" Odd-Eyes Wing unleashed gale-force winds toward Scarlight.
Jack quickly picked up an Action Card. "I activate the Action Spell Miracle Escape! Your dragon's special ability is negated and can't attack me this turn!" Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon's gale fizzled out as it reached Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend. This caused Yuya to grit his teeth as he ended his turn.

"This duel's amazing!" Frank cheered. Amanda added, "Neither one is backing down!"
Chojiro smiled with his arms crossed. "The only way this could be better is if I were dueling."
The Topsiders were glued to their seats. "This is the finest final ever!" The Commons in the stadium cheered. "Yuya rules!" "Yeah, get 'em Jack!"

"So you finally found your voice, Yuya. Too bad you found it too late!" Jack rammed right into a blocked-off side road.
Now adjacent to Yuya, Jack began his turn. "It's over! Now! I summon the tuner monster Mirror Resonator(ATK: 0/DEF: 0/LV: 1)!" "He has two tuner monsters?" Yuya questioned.
"Wonder what Jack's plannin'?" Melissa then gasped as she noticed that the track ended in a steep drop. "And I wonder if it involves anything to avoid that deep drop!" "Look out!" Yuya called out.
Jack, with fire in his eyes, floored his Phoenix Whirlwind to the max, engulfing it in a crimson light. Roaring off the edge, Jack flew as he declared, "I blaze my own trail... in life and in dueling! Now my King Scarlet and my Mirror Resonator both tune Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend!" "Woah, both of 'em?" Yuya's surprise was equally shared with everyone else. Sam, Frank, and Amanda said in chorus, "No way!"
Instead of becoming normal tuning lights, Jack's two tuner monsters turned into rings of fire as a plume of fire speared down the rings as the Crimson Dragon flew behind Scarlight. "Together these monsters will call forth an absolute power destined to rule this duel! Now I Synchro Summon!" The ground was torn apart by erupting flames as Jack's newest monster emerged. "Bow down and tremble in terror before Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend(ATK: 3500/DEF: 3000/LV: 10)!"

As Jack landed across the gap, Melissa cheered. {{Yeehaw! Jack's newest dragon is scarier than a scarecrow, and hotter than a habanero!}} This was meet with great cheers and astounded Topsiders. "I can hardly believe what I'm seeing!"
Sam was amazed. "Just when Yuya steps up his game, Jack steps his up too!" Chojiro then spoke. "Yuya and Jack are certainly bringing the best in one another. A champion might rest in his laurels when he reaches the top. But a true champion never stops honing his skills, because for a true champion, there isn't a top."

Accelerating past Yuya, Jack swiveled around activated his dragon's ability. "Now, my Tyrant's special ability activates! It destroys all your cards! Including your pendulum cards! Absolute Power Inferno!" With that, Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend slammed its right hand, ablaze with flame, into the ground, creating a wave of flames that destroyed all of Yuya's cards.
"Oh, my!" Melissa was astonished. "That sure was a clean sweep!"
Holding up his new synchro-pendulum monster, Yuya declared, "But my field won't stay empty for long thanks to High Paladin's special ability! When Nirvana High Paladin is destroyed, it reappears in my Pendulum Zone!" High Paladin arose from a rainbow square to take its place in the Pendulum Zone.
"That won't help you! Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend, attack Yuya directly and end this duel!" Jack decreed. "Molten Crimson Tide!" True to its name, a tide of flame was breathed out of Tyrant's mouth after it glowed with flames.
Picking up an Action Card, Yuya spent no time in activating it. "I'm activating the Action Spell Evasion, so I can evade your attack!"
"It won't work, Yuya. You see, you're not allowed to play spells when Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend is attacking! And your little misdemeanor increases my dragon's attack points by 500, not that I needed it."
Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend(ATK: 3500 = 4000/DEF: 3000/LV: 10)
Yuya responded to Jack's counter. "There's no way you can out clever me! Because, by stopping my spell, I get to summon Acrobatic Magician(ATK: 800/DEF: 2300/LV: 5/PS: 2) from my hand in Defense Mode to protect my life points!" Acrobatic Magician appeared twirling its staff as it appeared.
"Then you leave me no choice but to have my Tyrant make your Magician disappear!" Jack declared as Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend's attack incinerated Acrobatic Magican instead of Yuya.
"When my Magician is destroyed, it goes to my Pendulum Zone too, so my Pendulum Scale is once again set!" Acrobatic Magician backflipped into the Pendulum Zone.
"Heh. So you bought yourself another turn." Jack said as he turned forward again and then set a card. "But all you're doing is delaying the inevitable." "You think you have the upper hand, but the way I'm dueling now, I don't think anyone can beat me." Yuya declared as he pulled alongside Jack.
Jack smiled. "I'm actually glad to hear you say that. At first you just followed in your father's footsteps. But now, you're creating your own path." Yuya was perplexed. "Creating my own path?"
"Your father dueltained the only way he knew how, and now you've started to dueltain the only way you know how. You're taking dueltaining and Pendulum Summoning, the very best of both worlds, and combining the two of them into one."
Jack's stressing on the importance of those words made Yuya realize something. "So that's what Jack meant. That I was only copying what my dad was doing, not really learning and weaving it into my own style." Yuya then started flashing back to all his opponents and his friends he had met so far. "And that's what I should've been doing with everyone I ever dueled. Learning from them to create my own style of dueling!" "That's just what I'm gonna do... to win this duel!"

Gong and Sylvio blocked an angry mob of Commons from hurting the scared Security with Superheavy Samurai Big Benkei, Superheavy Samurai Trumpeter, Abyss Actor - Funky Comedian, Abyss Actor - Leading Lady, and Abyss Actor - Sassy Rookie as Yuya continued, "They've all helped me become the duelist that I am. And I know that they're out there right now doing everything they can to save this city."
Shinji and his Commons friends helped out some people with getting clear of rubble and rescuing those trapped. "To restore peace and bring calm to all the chaos."
Damon and Tony helped some Topsider children find their parents. "To help those in need and to bring friends back together again."
Declan and Riley stared at Security HQ. "To right the wrongs, no matter the odds."

"And with all their help, I'm going to defeat you! Since I've already built my Pendulum Scale... my Scale 2 Acrobatic Magician and Scale 8 Nirvana High Paladin are set in my Pendulum Zone!" Yuya drew a card and saw what he drew as his eyes widened. "And now I can summon monsters between levels 3 and 7 all at the same time! Swing far pendulum! Carve the arc of victory! My monsters are ready... to swing into action!"
The monsters emerged as five differently colored lights that swirled over Yuya before they came together and crashed behind Yuya in a rainbow twister. Before revealing themselves as Timebreaker Magician, Performapal Gumgumouton, Performapal Radish Horse, Performapal Hamsteroll(ATK: 700/DEF: 1000/LV: 6), which looked like a blue Performapal hamster, and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon.
"Wow, that's quite the crew!" Jack commented. Melissa was shocked and amazed. "Whoo-ee."

Yugo felt a pulse as Yuya made his proclamation. Then Odd-Eyes roared. The pulse grew stronger as his body trembled with excitement.
Suddenly, Yugo slapped his face, confusing the children beside him. "Yugo?!"
"What am I doing here?!" Yugo quickly got on his Duel Runner and started its engine.
Frank questioned, "Wait, Yugo! Where are you going?!" "There's no way I'm staying in the pit stop while there's a duel this awesome going on! I'm going to get a better view, up close!"
As Yugo sped away, Crow turned to the screen that showed Yuya and Jack and then the whole audience. They were all amazed and breathing with excitement, all of them on the edge of their seats. "Yugo's right. How can I just stay here?"

Melissa continued her commentary. "Jack summoned his Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend early on and he's giving Yuya a schooling! By contrast, the team Yuya assembled looks downright preschool!"
Yuya looked at his Smile World with determination. "Time to use what I've learned from all my friends and family and win this duel!" "Here's a card that's guaranteed to turn Jack's frown upside down." Yuya declared as he activated his father's signature spell card. "Even your Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend is gonna crack a smile when it gets a power-up... Well, maybe not. But those 600 extra attack points certainly have turned my troupe into a group of grinners and winners!"

The audience were unnerved by this development. "How disconcerting!" A male Topsider commented, followed by a Common who said, "Jack better pull it together!"

Jack responded by revealing one of his facedowns. "I activate the trap Over the Red! Since my Tyrant lost attack points, this card doubles its remaining ones until the end of this turn! Then by banishing Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend, I can add its attack points to my Tyrant as well." Scarlight's spirit merged into Tyrant and made it glow with flames as its attack soared.

Jack's dragon's attack points soaring to 10,000 made everyone stop what they were doing. The rioting Commons in the alley that Gong and Sylvio were in, dropped their weapons and stared in shock at the screen. Gong and Sylvio stopped dueling the Securities, as they all were transfixed on the duel. Even the monsters they all controlled looked at the screen. "Look at all those attack points!" "It's incredible..."
Sylvio said in a stunned tone, "He must've learned how to duel by watching me!" "Only if his eyes were closed!" Gong retorted.

"I'm the best of the best, and I aim to stay that way!" Jack declared as he ascended up a spiral track with Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend following ablaze. "You haven't buckled yet, but if you want to knock this King from his top spot, you've got to show more backbone! Let's see if you can stand up to the heat of my fiery friend!"
Yuya replied with determination, "Oh, I will, Jack. That's a guarantee! And I'll take what my dad taught me, and what I learned from everyone around me... and take my game to a whole new level!" With that, Yuya jumped off the road. Melissa screamed and asked in shock, "Is he off his rocker?!"
"You're up next, Nirvana High Paladin! Use your Pendulum Ability on Timebreaker Magician!" Nirvana High Paladin raised its sword and extended the tip, creating a rainbow square seal that made Timebreaker glow with a rainbow aura. "So Timebreaker Magician can no longer be destroyed, plus I won't take any damage!
All right, go Timebreaker! Attack Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend!" As Timebreaker charged at the dragon, Melissa questioned Yuya's move. "That monster's too puny to take on Tyrant! It looks like itty-bitty fruit fly trying to take down a grizzly bear!" Timebreaker brought its sword down and was surrounded by a blue sphere as Jack's Tyrant blocked the attack.
Yuya landed in the highway and explained his reason to attack. "It's true my guy won't win this battle, but Nirvana's effect on Timebreaker hasn't fully played out yet. See, once it's done fighting, it weakens your dragon!"

"I thought you were bringing your A-game today, but you and your monsters have flunked miserably!" Jack critiqued. "We'll make the grade, just wait and see! We've been saving the very best for last! It's showtime!"
Yugo pulled up on an adjacent road, followed by Crow, Shinji, Damon, and Tony. "You tell 'em Yuya!" "Hey, Yugo!" Crow then said, "Thought you should know that your duel has brought the whole city to a standstill. All the crazy chaos has calmed down and you're about to have plenty of company!" "Who has time to fight when the duel of the century is going on? Win this one for me buddy!" Shinji cheered on.
"All right... You got it!" Yuya then smiled at the support he got. "Now get set, let's keep the party going!" Spreading his arms out at his field, Yuya then announced, "And what's a party without some surprises? Nirvana High Paladin can use its Pendulum Ability on another monster. This time, swing it onto one that's a level higher than Timebreaker Magician."
The pendulum swung the rainbow aura that emitted from Timebreaker to Radish Horse. "Let's hoof it, Radish Horse! Use your noggin and knock that dragon for a loop!" Radish Horse was surrounded by the same protective shield as Timebreaker as it charged with its horn.

On another lower elevated course beside Jack, Duel Chasers from the Underground led by Officer 227 rode their Runners as their sirens blared. Officer 227 then yelled to his fellow officers, "If enjoying this duel is a crime, then lock me up and throw away the key! What do you say to the long arm of the law giving these two VIPs an escort?" The officers cheered with approval.
"I've got some ba-aad news for you because now Nirvana High Paladin's effect bounces over to Performapal Gumgumouton! Let it rip, Gumgumouton! Ram that Tyrant with all your might!" The same thing with Timebreaker and Radish Horse happened to Gumgumouton.

The Commons and Security cheered with Gong and Sylvio as Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend's attack points dropped. Even the monsters were cheering along with them. "It's getting weaker and weaker!" A Commons commented, with a Security adding, "Yuya's monsters just keep hammering away!"
"Well Gong do declare! This is the most pendulumtainin' duel Gong's ever seen! Yuya sure saved the best for last. It certainly is a moving moment!" Gong said happily at his best friend's duel. Sylvio then brought Gong in his left arm smiling, while holding a Common in his other. "Oh, I'm so honored! He's dueling just like me. "Hamsteroll, it's over to you! Give that Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend a good roll out!" Hamsteroll curled into a ball and rammed Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend, lowering its attack points.
Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend(ATK: 5400 = 4100/DEF: 3000/LV: 10)
Many different vehicles pulled alongside Jack and Yuya's duel, all of them cheering them on and telling them not to lose. This surprised Melissa. "Huh?! What's going on down there?!" Then she saw the airspace around her, filled with helicopters. "Hovering hamsters! Somebody better call the doc, 'cause our fair city is suffering some major congestion! Folks are gathering from all over to watch the big duel!"
In one of the helicopters, a butler with a monocle on his left eye asked, "Supervisor Lazar, are you enjoying the match? I hope the view is to your liking." Lazar poured himself a drink and said, "The view is okay, but the match is taking my breath away. I haven't seen a good win in ages and I know I won't come away disappointed." Lazar then took a sip from his wine glass.
Duel Palace - New Domino City - Synchro Dimension
Amanda then realized something. "Aren't Yuya's monsters kinda like us?" "What do you mean?" Frank questioned. Chojiro also reached Amanda's realization. "She means the way the monsters are representing us and Duel Academy."
"Yeah! They are a powerful and scary group, but we managed to drive them back by working together!" Amanda's explanation helped them understand what she was saying. "Even if we aren't truly the same, by working together we can beat the odds and overcome any challenges that come our way!" Frank concluded, something that Chojiro, Sam, and Amanda agreed upon.
Duel Course - New Domino City - Synchro Dimension
Jack joyfully laughed. "Very clever! You used your moves to send a message to the whole city! None of those four monsters were especially strong by themselves, but by working together they made a huge impact! That's just what'll happen in New Domino if people pull together! You've proven yourself a worthy adversary, but you still have to prove you can beat me!" As he said this, the roads converged, allowing those on the adjacent roads to join a single lane.
Jack turned his Phoenix Whirlwind around and spread his arms wide. "Ha! All right, Yuya! It all comes down to this. Time to find out who will reign supreme!"
"You got it! Here I go!" Yuya took a deep breath and began his dueltaining. He spread his arms out as the spotlight shone on him. "My friends, here comes the grand finale!" This was met with cheering from all of New Domino. "That's just what I wanted to hear!"

Yuya winked at his audience with a smile, {{My monsters from levels 3 to 6 have all attacked. So that leaves...}}
Amanda, Frank, and Sam said together, holding hands, "Seven!" {{Right you are! The last monster of my troupe to attack will be my level 7 Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!}}

"Odd-Eyes has 4200 attack points. Even though it will destroy Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend, it won't be enough to win..." Shinji stated. Crow added, "And Jack's got one more facedown."
"Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, attack Tyrant Red Dragon Archfiend with Spiral Flame Strike! And it will deal double the damage thanks to its special ability!" As Odd-Eyes attacked, Jack revealed his final facedown. "I activate Red Return! Since you destroyed my Tyrant, this trap allows me to resummon Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend by banishing all of my cards in my graveyard!" Scarlight returned after Tyrant was destroyed.
JACK LP: 3500 = 3300
Melissa commented, "Jack has brought his symbol back to the battlefield! This is truly a symbolic duel!"
"And now my Scarlight's ability wipes your field of all other cards besides your dragon, Yuya! And you take 500 points of damage for each one that perished by its flames!" All but Yuya's Odd-Eyes was annihilated by Scarlight's wall of flame. "But thanks to Performapal Hamsteroll, I won't take any damage!" Hamsteroll's spirit curled up and blocked the damage.
"Talk about a catastrophe! Yuya has no monsters that can wage an attack and Jack's got a monster with 3000 attack points! Once he ends his turn, it's game over for Yuya!" Melissa frowned a bit, since she expected Yuya to win.
Yuya still was smiling, despite the situation he was in. "Seems like it, but I was prepared for this! Now, everyone, watch as part two of Hamsteroll's ability plays out! I can summon a monster from the Extra Deck that was the same Type as a monster on my field when it was destroyed. And I choose my Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon!" Wing Dragon returned and was given 300 attack points thanks to Smile World.

The crowds started chanting Yuya's name. "Folks, I can feel the electricity! The whole city has rallied behind Yuya!" Melissa exclaimed.
"Ready, my friends? Let's bring this to an end together!" Everyone joined in declaring the attack with Yuya. "Odd-Eyes... Wing Dragon... attack Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend!" Yuya declared, "Hurricane Spiral Force!" Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon whirled its body as it charged at Scarlight, full speed. The Red dragon attempted to use its hands to block the attack but was eventually useless as Odd-Eyes Wing rammed right through it. Jack simply smiled in acceptance as his life points fell to zero.

As Jack's Runner spun as it stopped, Yuya passed by as Melissa announced, "That's a wrap! The Friendship Cup has a new champion, Yuya Sakaki! With his powerful combination of Pendulum Summoning and dueltaining pizzazz, this amazing duelist has not only captured New Domino's dueling prize, he's captured our hearts as well!" Everyone in New Domino cheered and chanted Yuya's name.
Yuya removed his goggles and helmet and happily smiled, before walking to Jack, who was standing with his back turned. "You dueled great, Jack." "There's nothing great about losing." Jack firmly retorted, surprising Yuya, who hastily apologized. "Sorry, Jack!"
"You may have been the better man today. But that doesn't mean you'll be the better man tomorrow. Oh, well. I relinquish my crown to you, for now. But believe me, I'll regain it soon enough. I certainly had my doubts..." Jack then silently chuckled before smiling. "But I'll give this battle a two-star performance." Yuya happily replied to Jack's opinion. "Thanks! Beats zero stars for sure. Dueling you was the ultimate blast. It looks like the rest of the city agrees. And next time, I'm gonna get a four out of four."
Jack raised Yuya's right arm to the sky and declared, "Today is a great day. The only way it could have been better is if I had won. But it wasn't meant to be. You all have a new champion, so let's give him his 15 minutes of fame. Let's hear it for Yuya, New Domino City! He earned it today!" Everyone in New Domino cheered at this.
Yuya then noticed Yugo approaching the two of them. When they were face-to-face, Yuya returned Clear Wing Synchro Dragon to him. "Thanks for letting me use your card Yugo. It was nice of you to entrust me with it." "I gotta admit, it was a great duel. And you using my dragon to summon an awesome monster like that, how could I not be happy? Anyways, great job! You did it!" Yugo then brought Yuya in a headlock and ruffled his hair, earning a happy laughter from them and those watching them. It gave the impression of two happy twin brothers.
Just then, a large grey helicopter hovered over them. A voice, belonging to Bordeaux, said, "Jack and Yuya, stay right where you are and do not move!" Then three giant holograms of the High Council appeared in the sky.

"It's the Council!" Sylvio exclaimed as he saw them. Gong questioned, "Wonder what those windbags want?" "The High Council sure knows how to get our attention." Chojiro commented.
"My fellow citizens, now that our Friendship Cup has reached its exhilarating conclusion, the council has deemed this an ideal moment to announce some momentous news for the whole city!" White Taki announced.
Bordeaux then explained, "The Friendship Cup was founded to encourage harmony between Topsiders and Commons. Each year, the city would hold a tournament to decide the most powerful duelist among the people." White Taki added, "The winner whether Topsider or Commons, would be crowned champion. And that champion would serve as a symbol to all our city that opportunity exists for all that live here."
"We believed this system was working, benefiting Topsider and Common alike." Gael explained. Grey confessed, "Instead of bringing the people together, we may have unintentionally torn the good people of New Domino apart."
Azul then said, "We have come to realize that if New Domino City is to survive, change is needed and everyone in our society must somehow come together as they never had before."
"With unrest breaking out across the city, that goal seemed impossible, but today Jack and Yuya showed us that the city can be unified." White Taki continued as Commons and Security cheered and were acting as if they always were the best of friends. "New Domino will no longer be divided into two. Instead you must all work together to build a better future for all our citizens!
As a first step, the members of the Council have agreed to step down immediately. We believe the future of New Domino City should be entrusted to a new and younger generation. This direction is one we deem to be sound. Do you, citizens of New Domino City, agree as well?" The whole city clapped and cheered at the decision.

Melissa commented, "Folks, whether you're a Topsider, or a Common, or somewhere in-between, I think we can all agree this is a truly momentous moment! Yesiree, this day is gonna be one for the history books! And since I've been right smack dab in the middle of everything, there will probably be a chapter all about me!" As she struck a pose, she nearly fell out of her helicopter before regaining her balance.
"Yuya, are you ready to take your victory lap?" Jack asked him. "Yep! Sounds good."
Following Yuya's confirmation, the hologram monitors across the city were activated, showing an injured Zuzu in Roget's chair. {{Yuya, Roget took Celina!}} This shocked everyone. "He did what?!"
Alley - New Domino City - Synchro Dimension
Sylvio yelled, "That snake!" "What happened, Zuzu?!" Gong questioned.
{{We managed to get away on our own. But then, Roget just showed up out of nowhere! I barely was able to escape thanks to Celina!}} Zuzu told them in a desperate tone as she continued to update them. {{I'm with Sora now, but Shay and Moon Shadow are still chasing after Roget and Celina. Yuya, you've got to get over here right now!}}

Just then, the communication was cut off. "Zuzu!" Yuya's cry of concern for his friend was interrupted by Yugo, who was already on his Runner. "Yuya, get on! It will be faster if I drive! Hurry!" Yuya raced towards him, without a second to lose.
Sector Security Headquarters - New Domino City - Synchro Dimension
The whole building was in complete shambles as several explosions rocked the building. Roget dragged Celina, whom he had handcuffed with energy cuffs, to his elevator.
"You're nuts! Only a madman would program his own headquarters to explode after pulling a rotten trick like that!" Celina said as she struggled against Roget's grip, despite her injuries. "What better way to cover my tracks than to leave no tracks at all? A brilliant plan indeed." Roget said with a cruel smile. "Except that all your other plans went nowhere! You're a failure who's just scurrying back to Duel Academy!"
One of the staff personnel shouted to his fellow worker, "The whole place could blow! Let's move it!" His coworker barely managed to escape an explosion as they ran.
Celina's mockery made Roget grab her by the shirt collar and throw her in his elevator as it began to descend, twitching in uncontrollable anger. "That's enough! This is not a retreat, missy! I haven't lost! This is just a minor setback. But I will return!"
"Yeah, IF you manage to get out of here."
The elevator was then destroyed by a hand crushing it. Roget and Celina then fell to the floor, wincing when they landed, though not severely injuring them. Celina was already injured, so she couldn't stand. The good thing was that the fall destroyed the energy cuffs, so Celina was freed. The bad news? A group of familiar people were looking down on them, with the same monster that caused them to fall. Looking up at them, Celina recognized one of them, the one who controlled the beast that caused them to fall.
As she struggled to stand up, Celina cried out that individual's name. "Yuri!"
"How nice of you to remember me, Celina." Yuri playfully said as he and the others jumped down to their level. Starving Venom disappeared as they jumped down.
"What... what are you four doing here?!" Roget fearfully asked as he took a step back from them.
"Cleaning up the mess, Roget." Madame Chaos answered, harshly saying Roget's name. "W-wa-wait! I'm bringing her to Duel Academy as the Professor wanted!" Roget tried to explain in a panic, pointing to Celina.
"That won't save you." Hydromancy told him as she adjusted her hat. "We had all heard your confession on the monitors. Sure, she might be a good bargaining chip to curry favor with the Professor, but there's one small problem..."
"To make it any further you'll have to get past us. And we're about to break you like the gutless rat you are." Lady Minerva proclaimed. Roget gritted his teeth and narrowed his eyes as he activated his Duel Disk in retaliation. "Then I'll just have to beat you all and turn you into cards! I'll just tell the Professor that you were defeated by the Lancers! I won't fall here!"
The quartet's smirks and amusement grew at this sight. "I'll be the one to pin the tail on this donkey." Lady Minerva told them. "Be our guest." Madame Chaos told her as Lady Minerva stepped forward and activated her Duel Disk.
"If you're so confident, then you'll have no problem outdueling me!" Roget arrogantly smirked. Lady Minerva answered with her own smirk, "That's just it. It won't be a problem to outduel you!"
[Let's duel!]
"And now for your demise. To start, I'll activate the spell Polymerization and use it to fuse two Ancient Gear Soldiers(ATK: 1300/DEF: 1300/LV: 4)! Utilizing my vast combat experience, along with my superior tactical intellect, I will reconfigure my pair of mechanized warriors into a devastating war machine!" The Soldiers went into the Fusion Vortex as Roget chanted. "I Fusion Summon! Ancient Gear Howitzer(ATK: 1000/DEF: 1800/LV: 8)" Howitzer appeared brandishing its guns in Defense Mode.
"And for my next move, I'll activate this! It's the spell Ancient Gear Magic Shield! I'll equip it onto Ancient Gear Howitzer!" A black shield device appeared in front of Howitzer and emitted a red electrical, spherical barrier around it.

"By equipping this shield, my Howitzer can't be destroyed in battle, and gains 1200 defense points, and now its special ability activates! For each spell card on my field, you take 1000 points of damage!" Howitzer then fired several shots from its gunner hands, which Lady Minerva simply answered by dodging them with several backflips with a spin.

"Backflips with a spin. Nice moves, girl. But you don't have the moves to take out my monster because Magic Shield protects it from all your card effects. Why do you think Duel Academy sent me here? Because I alone was capable of conquering this dimension, just as I will conquer you!" Lady Minerva simply adjusted her eye scope as she narrowed her visible eye.

Once per turn, copy one card's Type in the graveyard onto one monster you control until the end of the turn. The synchro monster that was summoned using this card gains 800 attack points.
Monster Seal(Action Spell): Negate the special ability of a monster.
Performapal Hamsteroll(ATK: 700/DEF: 1000/LV: 6): When this card is destroyed by a card effect, reduce the damage you take to zero, and summon a monster from the Extra Deck that is the same Type as a monster on your field when this card was destroyed. Then, the monster summoned by this effect gains attack points equal to the attack of the Type of monster that was chosen. This effect can only work once a turn.

Man. This was the longest chapter yet. I'm actually quite proud I did this. But now the beginning of the Xyz Dimension arc is about to begin. I only watched the season 3 of the official anime to episode 15, so I kinda need help from all of you! Help me write in the pieces of the dub past episode 15 by sending them to me via review.
