I'm gonna scrap the in-between moment at the Duel Sanctuary that Frost190 made. I mean, the fact that Iggy was with them and didn't tell them about the Tyler Sisters before Gong, Sylvio, and Celina met them wasn't able to make sense to me. I'll make Allen apologize to Yuya in the next chapter, before they met up with the fraternal twins.
You Show Duel School - City - Fusion Dimension
Alexis and Sora had just finished with their training while being watched by the other students. The others were impressed with how they dueled. As the other students gathered around them, Sora and Alexis noticed a sighing Zuzu was across the room, gazing particularly at nothing. While Alexis had a look of concern, Sora had a knowing smile on his face. After convincing the other You Show students to continue their training on their own, the two of them walked over to Zuzu, standing on each of her sides.
"Thinkin' about Yuya again?" Sora teased, causing the pink-haired girl to become flustered.
"N-n-no! Of course not!" Zuzu stammered, as she realized that the two former duelists of Duel Academy were next to her.
"You can tell?" Alexis wondered. "Yeah, Zuzu always makes that face whenever she's thinkin' of Yuya." Sora answered.
"Sora!" Zuzu's blush reddened even further, almost to the color of Yuya's hair.
"Yuya's Yusho's son, right?" Alexis asked, as Sora put another lollipop into his mouth. (Personally, she wondered how many lollipops he had.)
"Yep! He's also Zuzu's best friend... and her little sweetheart." Sora teasingly smirked at the last part, causing Zuzu to nearly lose her footing and surprising Alexis.
"Sweetheart?! You mean those two are lovebirds?" Alexis whispered, nearly yelling when she heard about it
"NO! We're just friends! He's like a-a brother to me!" Zuzu hotly denied to Alexis, waving her hands and head in denial.
"Not YET, anyway. Zuzu's always denying it, while Yuya's too dense to even realize it. But with all this craziness, it's only a matter of time before they finally become an item." Sora made a heart shape with his hands as he smiled in amusement.
Alexis chuckled. "It's not an easy thing to admit. You can consult with us about it. Or just me. After all, I am a girl." Alexis gently patted Zuzu's shoulder.
Zuzu covered her face and sat down. "Ugh. Is it that obvious that I like Yuya? Even Chojiro saw it just by dueling me!"
Sora and Alexis sat with her, laughing softly at the pink-haired girl's flustered reaction.
"It's not like we're gonna tell him, ya know." Sora told her. Alexis assured Zuzu that they could trust them. Zuzu muttered in question if it was the right time for this stuff.
She was bombarded with inquiries from Sora and Alexis concerning her relationship with Yuya. She covered her ears and tried to ignore them.
"Boy, I'm glad that Yuya isn't here to deal with this. If he was, I don't know how I would face him! But now that Sora and Alexis are asking me these questions, I'm starting to wonder myself when I started to like him like that. I mean, we've been together since we were children. And I've always treasured him as my best friend. But when did I actually start to like Yuya like that?"
Zuzu began to think of when she came to love Yuya more than just a close friend. She closed her eyes as she began to reminisce deep into the past. As she dove deeper into her memories, everything suddenly became white.
Zuzu found herself in a white hospital room, sitting on a hospital bed. The room also had a TV, refrigerator, a small table, and a chair. The scenery outside could be seen through a window. As she got out of the bed, she took a look at herself. She was in a green hospital patient outfit, but her hair color scheme was different. Instead of having a pink one, she had a maroon and dark red one. A nearby mirror showed that she was considerably older, around 16 or 17, around high school age.
Walking to the window to see outside, she was greeted with a hospital park, where some of the stay-in patients were taking a walk, playing, or chatting with visitors. Some were even dueling, but they all had a nurse supervising them.
Out the window, she saw a boy around her age, sitting under a tree looking at the cards in his hand. She assumed that he was a duelist as well. What really caught her attention, was the fact that he seemed to be mumbling to his cards. Leaning closer, she realized what was going on.
Quickly jumping outside, she rushed toward the boy. The boy was startled when he saw that she was right in front of him, eyes wide and blinking questionably at her. She opened her mouth to speak, but hesitated at first, unsure of how he would react. When the boy remained silent, it indicated that he was only waiting for her to speak. That gave her the courage to ask.
"Are you able... to hear them? The voices of the Duel Monsters?" Somehow, she knew from the bottom of her heart that the answer was yes.
"Wait." The boy stood up, looking at her with the same expectant eyes she had. "You mean... you can hear them too?"
She smiled when she heard the answer. Before she could feel happy, she was suddenly hit with nausea, causing her to wobble and nearly fall. The boy caught her before she could hit to the ground, leaning her against the tree so she could sit with him.
"Are you okay? You're a patient here, do you want me to call a nurse?" The boy asked worriedly. "N-no. I'm okay, honestly." She assured the boy.
"So... You can hear them as well?"
She nodded. "After all these years, I finally found someone else who shares my gift." She told him, tears almost brimming from her overjoyed eyes.
The boy smiled as well, taking a seat beside her. "That makes two of us. I could hear their voices ever since I was a little boy. The other kids called me a freak and laughed at me. But I know what I'm hearing is real, and thanks to them that I can duel so well."
"We're the same in that regard. My father brushes it off as superstitious nonsense. After all, he is a scientist."
"Why are you here? Are you ill or something?" The boy asked out of concern for her health.
"I came down with a nasty flu, four days ago. But I'm fine now. The doctor said I could be discharged in two days." She told him so he wouldn't worry. "What about you? Are you here to visit someone?"
"Yeah. My mom has an operation right now. The doctors said that it would take a while, so I decided to come out here and wait."
Hearing the boy's answer, she took her deck from out of her pocket. "In that case, you want to duel with me until her operation's done?"
The boy chuckled and brought out his own deck along with a Duel Mat to answer her question. Setting their decks in place, they each extended their hands for the other to shake as they introduced themselves.
"My name is Z•••." "I'm R••."
"Zuzu!"
Zuzu jolted her eyes open as she heard Sora and Alexis's voices calling out to her. Looking around, she saw she wasn't in the hospital anymore, but back at the You Show Duel School in the Fusion Dimension. She blinked in confusion.
"Daydreaming about Yuya again? Visualizing the day you guys get hitched?" Sora teased.
Zuzu's face turned red again. "No! Would you stop that already?" Zuzu retorted, before her thoughts quickly wondered back to what she saw. "What was that just now? That wasn't me, but it didn't feel like it... And who was that boy? Why was the feeling of calm I had with him the same as whenever I'm with Yuya?"
A pat on her shoulder interrupted Zuzu's thoughts. Zuzu turned toward Alexis, who looked at her with an apologetic smile.
"If it's something you'd rather not talk about, I understand. Take your time." Alexis told Zuzu as they stood up. "There will be a meeting soon. But before that, why don't we have a duel first, Zuzu?"
"That's a good idea. Alexis would be the perfect opponent for you, Zuzu!" Sora persuaded his pink-haired friend.
Zuzu smiled with a sigh. "Sure. I've actually been interested in dueling you, Alexis."
As the two girls got into their dueling positions, the other students congregated around them in curious chatter. Yusho, who was in the doorway, decided to spectate as well. "I was going to tell them that the meeting was going to begin, but I think I'll keep quiet. Besides, I kinda am wondering how Zuzu has improved her dueling since the last time I saw her."
The girls then activated their Duel Disks. By this time, Zuzu and Sora had switched theirs to the You Show Duel School version. Hers being a pink-bodied with a pink blade and Sora's being a yellow-bodied with a blue blade.
[Let's duel!]
"I'll go first! I'm activating the spell Machine Angel Absolute Ritual!" Alexis's spell created a glowing mandala magic circle that had gears filled with various lettering and inscriptions. The mandala had five major circles: four on the sides and one in the middle square. The ground cracked as a giant pillar erupted out of the ground.
"And then, I can Ritual Summon a monster by tributing this card here. My Cyber Tutubon(ATK: 1800/DEF: 1600/LV: 5)!" Tutubon became a pink flame that flew up and inserted itself into the pillar. When it landed, it caused an explosive flare to fire into the sky. "I Ritual Summon! Descend from the heavens, Cyber Angel Natasha(ATK: 1000/DEF: 1000/LV: 5)!" Natasha reared up as it appeared.
"Since I tributed Cyber Tutubon in order to Ritual Summon, I can add a Ritual Spell from my graveyard to my hand. So I get my spell Machine Angel Absolute Ritual back!" Alexis quickly added the spell card back to her hand from her graveyard.
"And now I activate its second effect! So get ready! All I have to do is return Cyber Tutubon to my deck to Ritual Summon again!" The ritual process repeated itself as Alexis returned Cyber Tutubon back to her deck.
"Say hello to Natasha #2!" Alexis summoned a Natasha that had the green and red colors of her outfit switched, and the dark blue parts replaced with orange.
"And my Cyber Angels will make it harder for you to beat me. Because they infuse my life points with half of their attack points." Alexis' Natashas brought their upper hands into a focusing pose as they glowed, each giving her 500 life points.
ALEXIS LP: 4000 = 5000
Zuzu got excited. "So that means it'll be harder to take you down, huh?"
"Yeah. With that, I end my turn."
"I'm up! Since I don't control any monsters but you do, I am allowed to summon Solo the Melodious Songstress(ATK: 1600/DEF: 1000/LV: 4)! Next, I summon Opera the Melodious Diva(ATK: 2300/DEF: 1000/LV: 4) to add a little more offensive defensive music!
I now activate Fortissimo! This spell will really pump up the volume, because it allows me to infuse one of my Melodious with 600 more attack points until my next turn. And that's music to my Solo's ears!" Solo glowed red as her attack points increased.
Solo the Melodious Songstress(ATK: 1600 = 2200/DEF: 1000/LV: 4)
"Solo the Melodious Songstress, attack Natasha #1!" Solo took a deep breath before singing a sound blast toward the red Natasha.
"Sorry, but that's not gonna happen! My Natasha's special ability stops your performance cold since I control another Cyber Angel!" A barrier encased the Natashas and blocked the blast.
"Melodious Debut will make sure my audience doesn't go off disappointed! It hits you for 600 points of damage since I failed to attack!" Solo unleashed a song that broke through the Natashas' barrier, dealing Alexis damage.

"That should do for now."
"Nice one, Zuzu! But that won't be enough to defeat me! I draw! I'm gonna equip my first Natasha with the spell, Ritual Weapon. This will increase her attack and defense points by 1500." The red Natasha gained a crossbow gauntlet on her upper left arm thanks to the spell.
Cyber Angel Natasha(ATK: 1000 = 2500/DEF: 1000/LV: 5)
"Now I activate Mystical Space Typhoon to quiet down your Fortissimo." Alexis destroyed the Continuous Spell card, disabling Zuzu's ability to raise her monsters' attack points.
"Natasha! Show Solo the Melodious Songstress how you strike a chord!" Natasha launched an arrow from her crossbow gauntlet at Solo, destroying it once it hit her stomach.
ZUZU LP: 4000 = 3700
"That oughta do it. You're up." Alexis told Zuzu as she set a card.
"I draw! I summon Soprano the Melodious Songstress(ATK: 1400/DEF: 1400/LV: 4)! This is when things get interesting, because she lets me Fusion Summon without using Polymerization. So I fuse Opera the Melodious Songstress and Soprano the Melodious Songstress! Together, you'll sing a sensational duet that will form an even more Melodious monster! I Fusion Summon Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir(ATK: 1000/DEF: 2000/LV: 6)!"
"She can Fusion Summon too?! Even though she's from another dimension?" A student asked in shock.
Sora answered the question. "She's from the Standard Dimension. They have all the special types of summoning there."
"You mean they can learn all the special summons?!" The students looked at Sora incredulously.
"No. Learning all the special summonings is hard. As a result, I only know of two people from the Standard Dimension who have mastered them." This made Sora think of Yuya and Declan.
"I equip Bloom Diva the Melodius Choir with Diva Baton! This will help her conduct my way to victory." Bloom Diva gained a yellow baton resembling a daffodil.
"Looks like Zuzu is truly putting on a musical show for the ages." Yusho commented.
"Bloom Diva, attack Natasha #2! Recking Refrain!" Zuzu pointing at the target made Bloom Diva shout a musical sound wave tornado at the second Natasha.
"But they have the same attack points, they'll both be destroyed!" Alexis reminded Zuzu, who just kept smiling, unfazed.
"That isn't the case, Bloom Diva can't be destroyed in battle. And the best part, you'll take the damage I would've taken and your monster's destroyed! And to give this score a little more impact, I'm activating the spell Pianissimo to lower Bloom Diva's attack points to 100!"

"I end my turn. And now my Bloom Diva's attack points return to normal."

"It's my turn!" Alexis declared as she drew a card. "I'm activating my Natasha's special ability from my graveyard. By banishing another Cyber Angel, I can resurrect my Natasha and take control of your Bloom Diva!" Alexis banished her Tutubon to activate Natasha's ability.
"That's not gonna happen! My Diva Baton protects my Diva from being affected by your monsters' special abilities!" Bloom Diva the Melodious Choir then used her baton in a manner to conduct a symphony to prevent her from falling under Natasha's ability.
Alexis picked one of the two cards in her hand. "I really hoped I wouldn't have to do this, Zuzu. But it just wouldn't be right if I didn't show my full resolve."
She then revealed the Polymerization in her hand. "I'm sending this Polymerization to the graveyard. That allows me to activate the spell Fusion Destruction!" Alexis slammed a Continuous Spell card on her Duel Disk, which then showed up on the field.
"Fusion Destruction?!" Zuzu exclaimed.
"It lets me banish three Polymerization or any other Fusion cards from your deck and you take 300 points of damage for each one. So not only do your life points take a hit, but you can't Fusion Summon either." Alexis closed her eyes as she explained the card's effect.
"I used to believe that Duel Academy and Fusion Summoning could be a thing of peace, but not anymore! I won't let it be a tool for destruction!" Everyone in the room became silent after hearing Alexis' resolve, both in shock and awe.
"Alexis..." Zuzu could feel her emotion and emphasized with her. She had been betrayed by the very thing she trusted in with all her heart.
Zuzu sent two Polymerizations and a De-Fusion from her deck to the graveyard, causing her to be hit with 900 points of damage, 300 per card.
ZUZU LP: 3700 = 2800
"Cyber Angel Natasha, attack Bloom Diva!" Alexis ordered her first Natasha to attack. "Did you forget? My Bloom Diva can't be destroyed in battle and destroys your Cyber Angel!"
Zuzu reminder was quickly countered with Alexis activating her facedown. "I know. That's why I activate the trap, Pure Pupil! If you activate a monster's special ability while I control a monster with 1000 attack points or less, I can use this card to negate that ability and destroy it!" Bloom Diva was destroyed and without a monster to defend her, Alexis' attack became a direct one for Zuzu.
ZUZU LP: 2800 = 300
"I'm down, but not out! My Diva Baton can resummon the monsters I used to Fusion Summon Bloom Diva from my graveyard, but they lose all of their attack points." Soprano and Opera returned from the graveyard but had their attack points dropped to zero.

Opera the Melodious Diva(ATK: 2300 = 0/DEF: 1000/LV: 4)
"I end my turn."
As Alexis ended her turn, a student commented, "Zuzu's only got two monsters with no attack points and one card in her hand, while Alexis has two monsters that have more than enough attack points to finish the duel. I just don't see how she can win this."
Sora interjected. "Don't write off Zuzu yet. She won't go down without a fight."
Zuzu prepared to draw. "This is it. It all depends on this draw..."
"When it comes to Fusion Summoning, we're polar opposites, Alexis." Alexis was puzzled by Zuzu's declaration. "I asked Sora to teach me Fusion Summoning to improve myself. And to become stronger to protect my friends and those who I cherish."
Zuzu thought back to the words of Yuya's letter. "Yuya... It was because of you and those words of yours that I can do this!"
"I won't lose!" Zuzu declared as she drew a card. Seeing what she drew, Zuzu smiled in relief. "Thank goodness...
I drew the spell, Singer's Anchor! Because I control two Melodious monsters, I can draw two new cards!
That allows me to get my spell, Concerto! Now by paying half my life points..."
ZUZU LP: 300 = 150
"... I can get my Bloom Diva back from the graveyard!
Alright girls, it's time! With Soprano's special ability, you'll combine to create an even more melodious monster! Now listen as these three harmonize and fuse into one, as their powers merge and transform into something even more melodic! Behold, the showstopping songstress whose voice will blow you away, Bloom Prima the Melodious Choir(ATK: 1900/DEF: 2000/LV: 7)!
Bloom Prima's special ability will now kick in, because she gains 300 attack points for every Melodious I used to Fusion Summon her!"

"It has more attack points than Alexis' Natashas'!" A student exclaimed. Another student then said, "But Alexis can still negate its attack with her Natashas' special ability."
"Not anymore! By banishing Concerto from my graveyard, I can get my Diva Baton back!" Zuzu spent no time in activating the Equip Spell once she retrieved it from the graveyard.
"Now my Prima can bypass your Natashas' special abilities! Now, Bloom Prima, attack Natasha #1!" Prima unleashed a sound wave attack from both of her massive flowers by her shoulders.
ALEXIS LP: 3500 = 3200
"And thanks to her special ability, my Bloom Prima now can wage an attack on your second Natasha!"
ALEXIS LP: 3200 = 1400
"Alexis still has life points and fight in her left. She could turn the duel around on her next turn."
"Not happening! I activate Floral Serenade! Now Alexis will take damage equal to my Prima's original attack points!"
"Bloom Prima's original attack points was 1900. That means..." A student trailed off as the realization dawned on them. Sora finished the sentence. "Zuzu wins."
"No she won't! I activate Angel's Final Arrow! By sending this trap from my hand to the graveyard, both duelists take damage equal to my Cyber Angel that had the most attack points that was destroyed this turn!" A rain of arrow-shaped lights appeared and fell on Zuzu and Alexis, causing them to go on their knees and ending the duel in a draw.

ZUZU LP: 150 = 0
The students clapped their hands, giving a standing ovation for the duel. Zuzu and Alexis got up and shook hands in respect for one another.
"That was a great duel, Zuzu. I didn't expect you to turn the duel around that quickly." "It was dumb luck, Alexis. I never would've expected you to prepare a counter for my moves. It was really impressive."
"Both of you were grand." Yusho walked up to the two girls and patted them on the shoulder. "I'm so proud of both of you."
Zuzu and Alexis smiled upon being praised by their respected dueling instructor.
"I take it that it's time for the meeting?" Sora asked, approaching the teacher.
"Yes. Let's form the plan of attack on Duel Academy."
Soon, the residents of You Show Duel School were in the mountain building's main hall looking at a map of Duel Academy and the town. Several places had been marked to show important locations and what to be aware of. The students all sat on the benches as they listened to Yusho, Alexis, Zuzu, and Sora explain the situation.
"Based on what I had heard from the patrols around here in town, and what Zuzu and Sora told us, it would appear that Duel Academy is strengthening itself for another raid on the Synchro Dimension." Alexis started, worrying Zuzu and Sora since they last remembered that the Lancers were in that dimension.
"Lately, Duel Academy has been building up their forces. This may be due to the setback they faced in the initial invasion. I guess they weren't expecting the resistance from the people in the Synchro Dimension to be powerful enough to force them back to a single point there." Alexis recounted what Zuzu and Sora had told them about what had happened in Synchro.
"We can attack them when they send out the reinforcements to the Synchro Dimension. Duel Academy's defenses will be weakened by the large departure of personnel that the Professor has sent there." Alexis explained, emphasizing her point.
Yusho stepped forward, taking over the explanation. "We have three problems, though. First, even with all of us together, we are still outnumbered. If we want to succeed, we need to find a safe route that has the smallest possibility of encountering enemies. Second, we do not know when the reinforcements for the Synchro Dimension will leave Duel Academy. Their leave is crucial to our success. Third and final problem, we don't know how to get any transportation to Duel Academy without getting any civilians caught in the crossfire in the process."
"But if we do nothing, the Arc Project will be completed. And that means we lose. How do we find out when the reinforcements will leave?" A student asked. Another student added, "The patrols here won't have much of that information."
"How about... one of us sneaks into Duel Academy and get some info about the schedule?" A male student suggested.
"That won't work. We're all on Duel Academy's wanted list. They already know what we look like." A female student sitting next to him interjected as she shook her head.
Sora slammed his right fist into his left palm as a lightbulb went off in his head. "Actually... there might be a way to get into the Academy without us being recognized." "Really? How?" Zuzu asked.
"Even Duel Academy needs to get things like food from the town. Once a month, a ship arrives to pick up supplies and staff, which just so happens to be tonight."
"I get it. If we just go in as a student, we'll definitely get caught. But we can disguise ourselves as one of the staff members, we can gather information without much suspicion." Zuzu summarized Sora's idea.
"Now, the question is... who's going to do it?" Sora asked as he raised the important question.
Ruins of Heartland Shopping District - Heartland City - Xyz Dimension
"Aaaargh!" An Academy duelist screamed as he was flung backwards beside his two defeated teammates.
Celina, Gong, and Sylvio stood victorious as they had just defeated them. Before they could get away, they made them give up their cards. The ones of people who they had sealed away. Once they did, the Lancer trio let them run away as the Fusion Warriors were more than glad to get as far away from the Lancers.
"They were all bark and no bite. Man, I was hoping for a challenge from those guys." Celina huffed in disappointment they watched the three Academy duelists run away. "I'll say. Obelisk Force is more of a challenge." Sylvio agreed.
"That there's enough out of the two of ya. We should be headin' on back. Our shift is almost up." Gong told them. Sylvio smiled as he put his hands behind his head. "Gotta say, we made a good haul. We were able to get 12 people back, seven of them being some of the Resistance."
"It was a good idea to create shifts for us to retrieve the people that Duel Academy carded." Celina agreed with her friends, as she looked at the people the Academy had carded. She frowned at the horrified faces that were on the cards. "How could they have laughed while sealing them into cards?"
"My, oh, my. Do my eyes spot a group of Lancers, Grace?"
The three of them got back into their battle stances upon hearing the voice. Two young woman, one with blond hair and the other with silver hair, appeared in front of the Lancers, trapping them with their backs facing a descending stairway. The two of them seemed to be fraternal twins.
"I've heard these Lancers were brave, but they're not very smart." The blonde commented.
"And you two don't seem to be normal Duel Academy cronies. Just who are you?" Celina retorted. "I don't know why, but these two seem very familiar to me."
"We've just arrived, and we've already hit the jackpot. You must be that girl that the Professor wanted us to capture. We are the Tyler Sisters; I am Gloria and she's Grace." The blonde introduced.
"You're the notoriously infamous Tyler Sisters?!" Celina asked with surprised, wide eyes.
"You know them, Celina?" Gong asked as he and Sylvio looked at her.
"Back in Duel Academy, I often heard from others who returned from the Xyz Dimension about two twins who utterly annihilated the entire Spade School all by themselves."
"Well done. You did your homework." Grace mocked. "Enough, the Professor has sent us to wipe out the Lancers and the Resistance. It's time to get to work." Gloria and Grace activated their Duel Disks' violet blades.
Celina prepared to do the same, but Gong and Sylvio stepped protectively in front of her, blocking her from the sisters' sight.
"What are you guys doing?" Celina asked.
"Stand back, Celina. It's you they're after." Gong told her.
"I can protect myself!" Celina insisted.
"You're, like, gonna need all the help you can get. Don't ya think, Gloria?" Grace asked her sister, while at the same time, mocking the Lancers.
"I do. How about a tag-team palooza? And we'll make it so that each tag team will share their fields, life points, and graveyards."
"That's fine with us! Let's do this, Gong!" Sylvio activated his Duel Disk with confidence. Determined to protect his friend, Gong followed suit and activated his Duel Disk too. "You're not gettin' Celina!"

"It's time for Sylvio the Superstar to get this show started! I set the Pendulum Scale with Scale 3 Abyss Actor - Extras(ATK: 100/DEF: 100/LV: 1/PS: 3) and Scale 8 Abyss Actor - Funky Comedian(ATK: 300/DEF: 200/LV: 1/PS: 8)! Now I can summon a cast of monsters levels 4 through 7, at the same time! I Pendulum Summon! Monsters emerge! Take the stage, Abyss Actor - Superstar(ATK: 2500/DEF: 1800/LV: 7/PS: 3)! Gloria showed two Amazoness monster cards from her hand to the Lancers, Amazoness Spy(ATK: 800/DEF: 1200/LV: 3) and Amazoness Queen(ATK: 2400/DEF: 1800/LV: 6). "I can automatically summon Amazoness Spy!
I tribute Amazoness Spy in order to summon..." Amazoness Spy knelt and closed her eyes as she was tributed. The moment she disappeared; a red beam shot out of the ground as the new monster appeared. "Amazoness Queen!" Amazoness Queen brandished her sword at Sylvio's monsters as soon as she appeared.
"Now, my Queen, slash his Rookie and send it to the infirmary for an ending career!" "So sorry, but Sassy Rookie isn't going anywhere! His special ability deflects your sword, preventing you from destroying it!" Sassy Rookie emitted a blue energy emitted from its body and was enveloped in a blue sphere barrier as the Queen attempted to cut him in half.
"Your monster may be safe, but not your life points!" Gloria retorted as Queen tried to cut the barrier, while Rookie crossed his arms to protect itself.

"This little Lancer thinks he's going to win." Grace agreed with her sister. "Yeah, so adorbs."
"It's Gong's turn now!" Gong's draw created a gust of wind as he drew a card. "Gong summons Superheavy Samurai Magnet(ATK: 900/DEF: 1900/LV: 4)! And thanks to its special ability, Gong can now summon... Superheavy Samurai Trumpeter(ATK: 300/DEF: 600/LV: 2)!
And now, Gong tunes level 2 Trumpeter with level 4 Magnet!" Trumpeter blew its horn as it turned into two green energy rings that encircled Magnet. "Gong Synchro Summons! Superheavy Samurai Ogre Shutendoji(ATK: 500/DEF: 2500/LV: 6)!"
"Um, like, whatever? But it's in Defense Mode, so it can't do us any damage." Grace commented.
"It can! Shutendoji is allowed to attack while it's in Defense Mode! Shutendoji, go and dethrone that Queen!" Shutendoji swung its spiked club around in its hand before launching its spiked part as a chain weapon.
Amazoness Queen stood in shock before its mouth formed into a smile. "Do you think we'd let a measly ogre destroy a Queen?" A yellow barrier formed around Amazoness Queen as electricity sparked between the collision of the two weapons. "Our Queen can't be destroyed in battle!" "You're still gonna take damage." Gong stated.

"It's, like, my turn!" Grace declared in a singsong tone. I'll activate the spell card..." Grace hummed as she chose her card. "The Warrior Returning Alive! It lets me return Amazoness Spy from my graveyard back to my hand.
Now, I activate the spell card Polymerization... to fuse my Amazoness Tiger(ATK: 1100/DEF: 1500/LV: 4)... and the sneaky Amazoness Spy. This is gonna be, like, totally amazing, but not for you two. I Fusion Summon! Amazoness Pet Liger(ATK: 2500/DEF: 2400/LV: 7)!
Feeding time! Okay, Amazoness Pet Liger, pounce on Abyss Actor - Sassy Rookie and turn his sassiness into messiness!" Liger gained 500 attack points as she charged thanks to her special ability when she attacked.

"Sassy Rookie isn't going anywhere! His special ability allows him to prevent himself from being cut from the show!" Sassy Rookie leapt out of the way of Liger's paw as she slammed the ground. "But you'll still take damage!" Grace reminded.

"And my Pet Liger's still got some scratch left in it! So, like, say buh-bye to 800 of your Rookie's attack points." Liger's scarred closed eye opened to reveal a swirling void that terrified Sassy Rookie.

"Those two keep targeting Sassy Rookie as if they enjoy torturing it! That's just low!" Celina glared at the sisters.
"After the attack, Liger's attack points return to normal."

"But my sister's far from finished." Gloria stated. "Amazoness Queen... give that Sassy Rookie the royal treatment!"
Since Sylvio could only use Abyss Actor - Sassy Rookie's special ability once per turn, Sassy Rookie couldn't help but be cut in half. Sylvio and Gong braced themselves from the shock wave from the explosion that came with Sassy Rookie's destruction.

"Why don't you stop jeering at Sassy Rookie?" Sylvio asked crossly. "Why? Because it's so utterly enjoyable." Gloria answered. Grace added as she set two cards, "Your dumb moves are boring us. We have to have some way to entertain ourselves."
"That does it! Nobody makes fun of Sylvio the Superstar and gets away with it!"
Grace mocked, "So not sorry. Because..." The two of them began to emit terrifying dark purple aura. "When you mess with the Tyler Sisters..." Gloria raised and clenched her right hand into a fist. "You're gonna get slammed with glam!" They both proclaimed as ominous visions of their respected ace monsters appeared behind them from the auras.
"We'll see about that!" Sylvio declared as he drew a card, but despite his apparent courage, he was sweating nervously. "Since I already set the Pendulum Scale, I can Pendulum Summon again! So appearing for an encore performance is Abyss Actor - Sassy Rookie!
And now I'm going to make sure my monsters have the perfect ride, so I activate the spell Abyss Prop - Wild Wagon to really give some wheels to my monsters!" The horse-drawn carriage appeared, and Superstar and Rookie sat down in the coach. "Not only are they riding in style, but now they're protected from your cards, so you can't destroy them!
I activate Abyss Actor - Funky Comedian's Pendulum Ability! By sending my Superstar to my Extra Deck, Sassy Rookie's gets his star power increased to the tune of 4200!"

Grace smirked, which didn't go unnoticed by Celina, Gong, and Sylvio, as they were confused for the reason she would have to smirk. "Sorry, but thanks to Amazoness Queen's special ability, you can't destroy Liger!" Amazoness Queen protectively drew her cape in front of Liger as a yellow barrier appeared. "Maybe so, but you'll still take a whooping 1700 points of damage!"
The twins glanced at each other, before Grace revealed one of her facedowns. "I activate... Amazoness Substitution!" "So I get to summon an Amazoness, and your attack switches over to her instead." Gloria revealed an Amazoness monster in her hand. "Come forth, Amazoness Swords Woman(ATK: 1500/DEF: 1600/LV: 4)!" Amazoness Swords Woman ran in front of Liger and stood protectively in front of it, sword horizontally drawn for the impact.
"You think that butter knife can save you? You're just going to take even more damage now!" Sylvio told them with a smirk as the two monsters collided.
Grace just gestured with her Duel Disk hand toward her monster. "Amazoness Swords Woman's special ability will detour that move! My opponent takes the damage I would've taken!" Swords Woman then threw her blade in a spinning fashion at Sylvio after deterring Sassy Rookie.
Sylvio jumped to one of the floating platforms and picked up the Action Card in it. "That won't happen, 'cause I activate the Action Spell Damage Banish to prevent us from taking that!" Amazoness Swords Woman's sword missed Sylvio by a hair, scaring him.
"So that's an Action Card. Gotta say, it's sure is handy." Grace commented, quite impressed with the Action Card.
Sylvio got down from the platform. "So does Gong's Ogre Shutendoji! We may not have been able to take out your Pet Liger, but we can checkmate your Queen!" Shutendoji got itself ready to strike.
"There's just one problem." Gloria told him. "Your attack's got zilch of a chance of reaching us." The two sisters said in harmony. Sylvio yelled in shocked surprise, "What?"
Gloria explained, "You're only allowed to attack Amazoness Pet Liger. So this attack is negated." Liger roared as the attack was negated.
"Guess I have to end my turn." Sylvio clicked his tongue. "And that means Sassy Rookie loses the attack points it gained."

"Sylvio, ya gotta be more careful! We nearly lost this duel, no thanks to you!" Gong scolded his friend, a sediment shared by Celina, who could only sigh at the brashness and hastiness Sylvio displayed.
"Yo, Glo, can we just end this?" Grace asked. "My pleasure!" Gloria told her as she drew a card. Smiling, she showed them her Polymerization card. "I'll eliminate them with the same monster I used against Spade School. I fuse Amazoness Queen and Amazoness Swords Woman! I Fusion Summon! Amazoness Empress(ATK: 2800/DEF: 2400/LV: 8)!
Here I go!" Gloria pointed to them as she declared her attack. "Since you are so against us attacking your weak Sassy Rookie, I think I'll take out your stronger monster. Amazoness Pet Liger, attack Superheavy Samurai Ogre Shutendoji! And like before, Liger gets 500 extra attack points when it attacks!"

"But it won't do you any good! Since Shutendoji is in Defense Mode, we won't take damage!" Gong reminded her.
"That's what you think!" Gloria thrusted her left arm with a maniacal smile on her face. "Due to Amazoness Empress's special ability, my Liger deals you damage even if your monster is in Defense Mode. Blast away!" Amazoness Empress brought her sword to her chest and both of her hands held it as it emitted waves that affected Liger. Both of Liger's eyes glowed red as it was enveloped in white-bluish energy as it roared, which struck down Shutendoji. The explosion wound up creating a blast of wind that knocked Sylvio and Gong around but didn't knock them off their feet.

"Now we'll shave away those last remaining points!" Gloria's declaration made Amazoness Empress raise her blade in the air as she got ready to attack. "You're finished! Especially when I activate the spell Amazoness Whip! Not only does Amazoness Empress gain Liger's attack points, but you can't activate any spells or traps for the duration of this battle!" Amazoness Empress gained a whip in her hip as she was empowered by Liger's attack points.
Amazoness Empress(ATK: 2800 = 5300/DEF: 2400/LV: 8)
Empress slashed the ground, creating a blast that decimated Sassy Rookie and sent a recovering Sylvio and Gong flying. They were forced to crash into a wall behind them, getting severely injured in the process.

"Gong! Sylvio! Are you alright?!" Celina rushed to her friends, kneeling to make sure they were okay. "This is bad. There's no way I can get us all out of here with them like this!"
Grace and Gloria approached Celina, prompting the indigo-haired girl to stand protectively in front of her friends in her fighting stance.
"So, like, are you ready to make some gift cards, sister?" Grace asked Gloria as their Duel Disk screens glowed. "Yes, lets."
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" Celina told them. "You're not getting my friends without a fight!" The twins smirked and readied their Duel Disks again. Celina narrowed her eyes as she got ready to duel.
