Chapter 30: Saving Etheria, Part 2
Etheria
Catra had left the temple along with Melog during the night. Even though Adora wanted to go search for her, she had to deal with Sigma first.
Adora then transformed into She-Ra as she entered the temple and saw everyone there along with Twilight.
She-Ra said, "Sigma is getting closer every day to figuring out how to access the Heart of Etheria. If he succeeds, he can use it to destroy worlds, galaxies, maybe even the entire universe. The Failsafe is our only chance at stopping him. But Sigma still has our friends. His hold over them grows stronger every day they're chipped. If we don't free them now, we might lose them forever. Sigma holds every advantage in this fight. He'll be ready for us. But we have a plan. Entrapta?"
"I finally succeeded in cracking Prime's signal pattern. If I get access to his Spire network, I can use it to broadcast a jamming frequency that will disable all of the chips on Etheria, freeing everyone at once", Entrapta said with a smile on her face.
Sam then said, "we'll need to divide into groups for this mission. One will help She-Ra get to the heart in order to disable it. The other will disable the network in order to free everyone chipped."
Hordak added, "and with any luck, the rebel alliance will arrive in time to help deal wirh what's left of Sigma's forces."
"I need you all to get Entrapta to the Spire and keep Sigma's forces distracted while she jams the signal. I'm gonna take the Failsafe to the Heart and destroy it, once and for all. We're going to make sure that Sigma can never hurt anyone ever again. We're ending this today. For good", She-Ra said.
Everyone cheered.
They all yelled, "stop the heart! Stop Sigma! Save our friends! Save Etheria!"
She-Ra then said, "a small group will also stay at the temple in order to keep it safe. We wanna be prepared for everything."
Shaak Ti asked, "who will stay at the temple?"
She-Ra replied, "mostly those still recovering from the chips. Luke and Leia will help protect the place while being out of danger from the chips."
"I agree with you Adora, it's much too dangerous for Luke and Leia to go out there", Sam said.
Leia asked her uncle Sam, "again, Uncle?"
Sam said, "we would never forgive ourselves if either of you got chipped. Plus, protecting the temple is still just as important in the grand scheme."
"I hate to admit, but they are right Leia", Luke said with a sigh.
"Please, just be careful out there", Leia said as she hugged Hordak.
Luke hugged Sam.
Sam and Hordak both said, "we will, we promise."
Once the hugs ended, She-Ra said, "everyone get ready. We begin our biggest mission in the next hour."
….
An hour later
A huge battle was outside the spire as our heroes fought the Horde clones.
Sam force pushed a few clones back.
"Brothers. It is I, a faithful acolyte of Horde Prime, just like you", Hordak Jr said.
Hordak Jr shoves the clones and Swift Wind kicks them, this allowed Entrapta to sneak inside the spire.
"Nice work Hordak Jr", Sam said as he slashed a few clones blasters.
Hordak used the force to send a huge number of the clones into a rather large ditch that they had trouble climbing out of.
Hordak exclaimed, "are we STILL calling him that?!"
Sam simply said, "yes. Also, I'm not sure how much longer we can keep this up before things get worse!"
Obi Wan and Ahsoka used the force to lift a boulder and they threw it at some clones.
Ahsoka yelled, "well we're gonna have to buy everyone time as long as we can, either way!"
Entrapta made it inside the control room of the spire.
She eyes a towering control panel and sets up her computer equipment.
"Okay, Entrapta, you got this. You got this", Entrapta said as she plugged the computer in.
The Bad batch along with the rest of the clone troopers fought the Horde Clones.
Wrecker lived up to his name as he kept ramming into clones like a freight train!
Rex was back to back with Slash as they fired their blasters at the clones.
"This is what you get for hurting my daughter", Hunter shouted.
Shaak Ti used the force to grab a handful of clones and started tossing them in between two walls over and over again.
….
Meanwhile, back at the Temple.
Luke asked Prime and Ashla, "have you made any contact with Uncle Leon?"
"We really need their help now", Luminara said.
Ashla said, "we're trying to get a signal through, but with everything going on right now, that might be a problem!"
Prime said, "that, and I keep getting a distinct feeling that something bad is going to happen…."
"Adora! Adora!"
The group turned around to see Catra.
"Catra", Leia said as she ran over to her.
Ashla asked in a stern tone, "where were you?!"
Catra asked, scared, "no time to explain, where's Adora?"
"She's not here", Shadow Weaver said.
Catra asked as she went over to Shadow Weaver, "what do you mean, she's not here? Where is she?"
"She's gone to the Heart of Etheria to free the magic and become the hero she was born to be. If you are still so selfish as to try and stop..." Shadow Weaver said before Catra cut her off.
"Enough! This isn't about you and your messed-up power trip anymore. Sigma is doing something to the planet. He's infecting it. He's going for the Heart", Catra said as she was fed up with Shadow Weaver's behavior.
They all yelled, "what?!"
Catra explained, "Sigma is gonna use the heart to take over the entire planet! And if Adora tries to use the failsafe, it may very well be doomsday for everyone! We need to get to her!"
Prime said, "my wife and I will go with you. Luke, Leia, keep trying to get a signal through."
The twins nodded and got to work.
"We'll help you with that", Omega said to the twins.
Luminara nods her head as well.
….
Inside the Spire.
"Oh…. Almost", Entrapta said before a green light enveloped her and She disappeared in a flash of green light and landed on Horde Sigma's ship.
"Welcome, little rebel. You're just in time to witness the end of your world", Sigma said to Entrapta.
He had cables on his back and head.
….
Sam and Hordak started to deflect the blaster bolts from the clones.
"Let's show these clones the power of the force", Sam said to Hordak.
Hordak nodded and said, "let's!"
The two both held their hands put and the blaster bolts around them all froze in midair! The clones were all so stunned at the display, that they were caught off guard by the bolts flying right back at them!
"I didn't know you two could do that", Slash shouted as he kept blasting the clones.
Sam shrugged and said, "you pick up a lot over 20 years of fighting nerf herders with blasters!"
Netossa and Spinnerella battle Horde clones. Beams of green light shine down, releasing dozens of guards on the ground and perched on hilltops. The Princesses are surrounded.
Frosta asked, "why aren't they shooting?"
Water covers the ground.
"Oh no", Perfuma said in fear.
Red zaps strike them and they collapse in the water. Behind them, Scorpia has her pincers dipped in the water and Mermista is beside her.
"Guys", the Jedi and the Clone troopers shouted.
A giant holographic image of Horde Sigma rises up in the sky.
"Rejoice, Etheria, for your day of reckoning has come. I offered you mercy. But you have spurned my good graces. So be it", Sigma said as he held Entrapta by her hair.
"Entrapta", Obi Wan shouted as he glared at Sigma.
"I'm sorry", Entrapta whimpered.
...
In the Whispering woods.
"Your resistance has been for naught. Your She-Ra has abandoned you", Sigma said with a smirk.
Prime, Ashla, Catra and Shadow Weaver watched in horror.
"All that is left for your world is a terrible and eternal night", Sigma said, then the hologram went offline.
"Take us to Adora! Now", Catra shouted in anger.
"She's too far away by now. We'd never reach her in time", Shadow Weaver said to Catra.
Catra yelled, "I don't FUCKING care! I'm not losing her or this stinking planet to some genocidal egotistical clone! I am going to help Adora if it kills me!"
Prime said, "the whole planet is one the verge of takeover. He has Entrapta, so we can only hope the others can disable the chips some other way!"
"Use your magic, take us to Adora", Ashla said to Shadow Weaver.
"It doesn't work that way", Shadow Weaver yelled.
"You've done it before! When you abandoned me in the Fright Zone. And you've always been able to track us our whole lives. So, do something good with it and help me save Adora before it's too late", Catra shouted.
Shadow Weaver then sighed.
"Come on", Shadow Weaver said as she held her hands out.
….
Bow and Glimmer were under the Crystal castle and they were searching for Adora.
"Adora", Glimmer shouted.
"Adora", Bow shouted.
A purple circle glows on the floor and Shadow Weaver, Prime, Ashla and Catra appear.
Bow exclaimed, "woah!"
Glimmer asked, "what're you guys doing here?"
Catra said, "looking for Adora. She and everyone else is in even worse danger than before!"
"She…. She left us. She's headed to the Heart on her own", Glimmer said with tears falling down her face.
Catra said a bit angry, "of course she's gone! That's what she does, isn't it?"
Then there was rumbling.
Bow asked, a bit scared, "Catra, what is going on?"
"Horde Sigma is onto you. He's hacking into the planet. All of this is from him", Prime said with a worried look.
"He's gonna take the Heart", Bow said with fear.
"That's not all. He's got Entrapta", Ashla said with a worried tone.
"If Sigma has Entrapta, that means the other princesses are still chipped. We have to get back up there", Bow said.
"We can't just leave Adora", Glimmer said to Bow.
"I'll stay, I'll find her", Catra said as she clenched her fists.
"Catra….", Glimmer said softly.
"I can't lose her again, okay? I promised her a long time ago that I'd look out for her. It's time I made good on that", Catra said then she was hugged by Bow and Glimmer.
Bow said, "good luck."
Glimmer said, "and be careful."
Once the hug ended, Catra said, "I will. And the same goes for all of you."
Catra quickly ran off as fast as she could!
"We have to go help her", Ashla said to Prime and Shadow Weaver.
Bow said, "I'll get Tech and head to the Spire. It's up to us to disable the chips."
Glimmer said, "Melog can teleport us there. I'll join the fight with the others."
Bow and Glimmer touched Melog, and in a few moments, they were gone in a flash of light, while Prime, Ashla and Shadow Weaver ran after Catra.
….
Once they were teleported there, Glimmer grabbed Bow's hand.
"Bow…. I love you", Glimmer said to Bow.
"I love you too", Bow said with a smile as he kissed Glimmer's forehead.
Bow said with a smile, "be careful, okay?"
Glimmer nodded her head.
"Melog, I need you to get Tech", Bow said.
Melog gave a purr as they vanished, and after a few moments, reappeared with Tech!
Tech exclaimed, "what the?!"
Bow said, "Tech, I need your help to disable the chips!"
Tech stuttered for a moment before saying, "lead the way."
(Ha! He said it!)
….
Meanwhile, She-Ra opens her eyes. She stands, overlooking a lush green valley in Etheria. As light shimmers, another warrior princess appears beside her. It is Mara. Adora looks at her.
Adora asked, "Mara?"
"After I died, I became one with the force", Mara said. She was in her She-Ra form.
"I'm going to save Etheria, no matter what it takes. Your sacrifice won't be in vain. I promise", Adora said to Mara.
Mara asked Adora, "but at what cost? I never wanted to die. I sacrificed myself so you would never have to. Why are you doing this, Adora?"
"It's better this way. My friends will be safe. They'll be happy", Adora said with a sad tone.
"And you? What do you want when this is all over?"
Adora turned around to see…. Antauri! along with the Jedi of Etheria!
Antauri said, "you deserve happiness just as much as anyone else Adora. With the people you love. Don't throw it all away. What would your death do to all of them?"
"Antauri is right", Mignola said.
Adora asked, "what else is there for me to do? If I don't stop the heart, everyone I love will die!"
Mara asked, "and what about Luke?"
Mignola asked, "Leia?"
Antauri asked, "Catra?"
Adora had a look of shock on her face.
"I…. It doesn't matter. I'm She-Ra. This is what I'm supposed to do", Adora said with sadness and tears in her eyes.
The image flickers and Mara takes her hands.
"You're worth more than what you can give to other people. You deserve love, too. You're so close, Adora. Don't give up yet", Mara said softly.
Antauri got closer and said, "Etheria. Your friends. Your family. Yourself. You can save it all. You only need the right push."
"You and the Dyad in the force are the Galaxy's hope in restoring balance to the force", Mignola said.
The Jedi chanted, "the return of the Jedi. The destruction of the Sith. The resurrection of the Republic. The dyad needs the wielder of the sword to accomplish it all!"
The scene then flickered again and there was glowing green everywhere.
Adora asked as she backed away, "Mara's, Antauri…. What's...?"
Mara, Antauri and the Jedi were now frozen in place.
"Ah. Adora. So, this is where you've run to hide", Sigma said as he appeared behind Adora.
….
Meanwhile, above.
Mermista and Scorpia are battling the Princesses. Mermista blasts water and Scorpia fires electric shocks. Netossa shields herself with a net and Perfuma blocks herself with greenery. Swift Wind is knocked down. Spinnerella blasts clones with gusts of wind and Frosta repels the clones' fiery lasers with sheets of ice.
Obi Wan, Shaak Ti and Ahsoka force push Mermista.
Scopria fires electric shocks at Sam and Hordak, the two block it with their sabers.
Sam yelled, "Bow and Tech better hurry the Hell up!"
Hordak quickly called a tree down on Scorpia, who busied herself keeping it from crushing her.
Hordak said, "sorry Scorpia! I'll make it up to you when you're not chipped anymore!"
"There's too many! We have to retreat", Crosshair shouted.
"Retreat where? We're totally surrounded", Slash shouted.
Glimmer arrives overhead.
She pounds the ground and levels the clones. Her friends are stunned.
"Way to go Glimmer", Ahsoka cheered.
Frosta ran to Glimmer and hugged her.
Glimmer asked with a smile, "miss me?"
"Yes, but also, behind you", Frosta shouted as she pointed behind Glimmer.
"Oh crap", Rex said.
A giant wave cascades behind them and Mermista sends the water flowing over the camp. Glimmer waves her hands in the air and casts a spell. She creates a huge pink ball of energy that shields the Princesses but the clones are washed away in the water. Castaspella helps Glimmer and they gather the water into a giant bubble and hurl it away. The water bubble knocks Mermista and some clones down.
Sea Hawk then approaches her.
"Mermista. Horde Sigma thinks he controls you. But I know you. And I'm gonna prove it to you with the power of shanty! Oh-Whoa! Downward-", Sea Hawk said as he was starting to sing.
Mermista fires water at Sea Hawk and he dives behind boulders.
Sea Hawk said, "okay, maybe I was wrong! But I know you're still in there!"
As Scorpia threw the tree off of herself, her gaze was drawn to the Spire. As she started stomping towards it, Perfuma formed a huge wall of foliage in front of her.
Scorpia looked at her as she had tears in her eyes.
She cried, "please. Don't make me do this!"
Scorpia merely turned back towards the foliage and clawed through it, continuing her path towards the spire!
Mermista then knocks Sea Hawk to the ground.
Sea Hawk said, "couldn't wait to sweep me off my feet?"
Mermista growled, "why are you like this?"
"Because I love you, dearest", Sea Hawk said as he stood up.
Mermista eyes turned to normal for a second.
"And also, it's a good distraction", Sea Hawk said.
Perfuma's vine hits Mermista's chip and she is knocked out.
Mermista falls into Sea Hawk's arms.
"Please forgive me for that when you're back to normal", Sea Hawk said.
Frosta asked nervously, "uh, guys? Did anyone see where Scorpia went?"
Bow, Tech and Melog burst onto the Spire.
Bow quickly fires arrows, hitting two clones. They enter the control room and Bow spots Entrapta's computer equipment. They run towards it and Scorpia appears behind them.
Tech yells, "distract her while I finish the job!"
Bow grimaced as he and Melog started to fend off Scorpia in her mind controlled state. Her entire face looked strained and pained, as if she was desperately fighting a losing battle!
Bow yelled, "hurry up Tech! The only way we're winning this is by disabling the network!"
….
Outside, Glimmer looks at the base.
She turns around to find Castaspella frozen in place. Her image in shadow and her mouth open in fear. A blackness seeps over the ground and Glimmer teleports away. She looks back to see Sea Hawk and the Princesses along with the Jedi and the clone troopers frozen in shadow as well. A purple and black smoke rises from the ground and Micah appears.
"Hello Baby girl", Micah said in a sinister tone.
….
With She-Ra
Sigma approaches Adora, Mara and the Jedi.
"You're not here. You can't stop me", Adora said.
He passes through Adora.
Sigma stops in front of Mara and Antauri who were frozen in place.
He says, "ah, two thorns in the side of the Horde and it's glorious mission. Even in death, they still cause nothing bit trouble for the Horde. Even with a new ruler, they still interfere. But soon, their actions won't matter."
"Like Antauri said no one is ever truly gone", Adora said as she glared at Sigma.
Sigma chuckled and said, "it doesn't matter what you do. I have run every calculation in my head. Out of nine hundred million seven hundred and thirty two thousand, four hundred and fifty six scenarios, you only win ONE! So what hope do you and your pathetic little band have?"
A creature was then heard roaring. She-Ra turned around to see where it was coming from.
"I've seen so many like them over the years. One by one, all their faces have been lost to oblivion. Just as yours will be", Sigma said.
She-Ra yelps in pain. A claw in the forest slashes She-Ra in the side.
She-Ra screams in pain as she transforms back into Adora.
"A parting gift from the First Ones. Their old security system. Capable of taking out even one as strong as She-Ra. You will never make it to the Heart, Adora. Your own people made sure of that. Goodbye, my oldest enemy", Sigma said as he vanished.
The forest disappeared too and in front of Adora was a creature that sent shivers down her spine as it stepped into the light, and she started backing up.
Adora was backed against the wall as the Creature that had tentacles in it's mouth was approaching her.
The creature shrieked.
Then Catra appeared and started to fight the creature!
"Oh no you don't", Ashla shouted as she fired her blasters at the creature.
Prime yelled, "no-one is taking this planet and its people today", as he started shooting alongside his wife.
"Hey, Adora", Catra said with a smile.
Prime then jumped and kicked the creature in one of its eyes.
"Catra! Prime! Ashla! You can't be here. It's too dangerous", Adora shouted, before she grunted in pain, but Shadow Weaver caught her.
Adora asked, "Shadow Weaver?"
"Get Adora to the Heart. We'll take care of this thing", Catra said with a growl.
Shadow Weaver lifted Adora up a little more and made a mad dash towards the heart as the others fought off the creature!
….
Glimmer was fighting her father.
"Please Bow, hurry", Glimmer whispered.
...
"Tech, hurry", Bow shouted as he and Melog fought Scorpia.
"I am trying", Tech shouted.
….
Back at the Temple
Luke and Leia, along with Luminara and the clones were in the temple.
"I am so worried", Luke said in a worried tone.
"I sense someone is coming", Twilight said as they appeared.
The Jedi quickly activated their lightsabers.
At the entrance of the temple was….
"Uncle Leon", Luke and Leia shouted in joy.
Leon smiled as he exclaimed, "somebody call me?"
Behind him was the rest of their friends and extended family.
The other clones and Jedi, Bane, the works!
Fisto said, "who's ready to save the planet?"
"A few Clones shall stay here with me and guard the temple", Luminara said.
"We'll go and help our friends and Family", Luke said.
"I know our uncle's are going to be mad at us, but we have to help them", Leia said with a determined look.
Leon chuckled and said, "just like your mother. Always determined to help the ones she loves. Now, let's get to it!"
Leon, Luke, Leia, (try saying that three times fast), and their group ran off to help save the day!
….
At the Spire
Melog had turned Tech invisible so he could finish hacking the program and destroy the chips.
Bow kept dodging Scorpia's electric attacks.
"I've got it", Tech said with a smile.
Scorpia turns around and fires an electric shock at Tech, knocking him and Melog into a wall.
"Tech", Bow shouted, but Scorpia sent an electric attack as well, knocking Bow into a wall.
A confirmation sign appears on the computer screen.
"Scorpia, Sigma may have made you do a lot of things, but he can't turn you into something you're not. So, right now, all I need you to do is trust me", Tech said softly.
Scorpia's eyes flashes back to normal and she screams in pain.
Tech presses button to send confirmation.
….
As Micah was about to strike his daughter, he screamed in pain as the chip deactivated!
Mermista woke up screaming as her chip deactivated with her in Sea Hawk's arms!
All across the planet, the countless towns all screamed in unison as every single chip deactivated!
Once it was all over, Scorpia slowly stood up and looked at a frightened Bow with normal eyes.
Scorpia gasped and said, "oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I didn't hurt you did I?!"
She quickly hugged Bow with a sorry expression.
Scorpia then turned around and hugged Tech as well.
Bow, Tech and Melog smiled as they heard someone run into the spire yelling, "SCORPIA!"
Scorpia turned around to see Perfuma!
"Perfuma", Scorpia yelled as she ran towards her.
Perfuma jumped into her arms and knocked the two of them to the floor. Perfuma was crying like a waterfall as she hugged Scorpia tightly, fearing that if she let go that she would vanish.
….
The confirmation appears on Horde Sigma's screen, he gasps.
"My device worked! I knew it would", Entrapta said with a happy smile.
"Deploy all clone battalions. Get this under control", Sigma growled.
Bow and Tech appear on the screen and hologram.
"Hey, everyone. I'm Bow and this is Tech", Bow said.
Bow's and Tech's hologram appears outside, broadcasting his message to all of Etheria.
"Sigma is probably trying to get his channel back. We have to make this quick", Tech said.
Bow said, "Horde Sigma thought he could take control of everything. The Horde. The rebels. And the people of Etheria."
Tech added, "but we have disabled his chips. Your free will is here once again!"
Bow exclaimed, "it's time to take back our home!"
Tech yelled, "it's time to end this war!"
"It's time to take back our world. It's time to fight. For She-Ra. For the Jedi Order. For our homes, for each other", Bow said.
….
Back on the battlefield more Horde clones appeared.
The group all got into a battle stance.
That's when they all heard marching.
Sam and Hordak, being in front of everyone, turned their attention towards the sound.
"Take this you sons of a…!"
Ahsoka and Sam yelled, "wait…. Leon?!"
Leon force pushed a lot of clones into a wall.
"Hey freaks, catch",
"Bane", Obi Wan shouted.
Bane threw a bomb at the clones, and one caught it in his hands.
The Horde clone asked, "what's that?"
The clones exploded in a fiery inferno as Bane said, "these clones are dumber than battle droids."
Kit Fisto smiled as he slashed a few clones with his saber.
"Master Fisto", Shaak Ti shouted.
"I am guessing these are your friends", Glimmer said with a smile.
Sam yelled, "more than that! They're family!'
Rex and Slash were leading their clones against Horde Sigma's clones!
Everyone then got into battle.
Leon and Ahsoka force pushed the clones off a cliff.
Bane blasted a few clones.
Fives and Echo kept blasting the clones.
Hunter blasted two clones with his blaster.
"Uncle Sam! Look out!"
Luke used force speed and he deflected the blast with his saber.
"Luke", Sam said in shock.
Hordak yelled in concern, "Leia, what are you two doing here!?"
"We couldn't stay at the temple and do nothing", Leia yelled as she dodged the blasts from the Clones.
Luke exclaimed, "this fight is between all of us. We either fight together, or not at all!"
Sam yelled, "thanks Luke! Also, we're having a talk about this once this is all over!"
"You two are so grounded after this battle is over", Hordak said as he used the force to freeze the clones' blaster bolts and he sent them back.
Luke gave a frightened gulp and said, "noted."
The fighting continued between both sides as all of Etheria had joined the fight against the Horde, ready to take back their planet once and for all!
….
Catra then jumped towards the creature and slashed one of it's other eyes.
Ashla then shot the creature on it's side.
Prime jumped towards the creature and kicked it on the forehead with his knee.
The creature then fell to the floor.
"You two go back to help the others, I'm gonna go help Adora", Catra shouted
Ashla said, "be careful. Who knows what'll happen there."
Catra gave a bittersweet smile as she said, "if I could go through it all again, just to see her smile, safe and sound…. I would."
Prime and Ashla shared a smile. They thought that every day between one another.
And with that, Catra dashed off as fast as she could!
The environment turns green with Horde Sigma's virus.
Horde Sigma's hologram appears in front of Catra.
"Oh, little sister. What a shame. I had such high hopes for you", Sigma said as he chuckled.
A tentacle grabs Catra by the leg and she is dragged by it.
Catra screams.
Shadow Weaver is helping Adora walk down a long corridor, the ceiling rumbles.
"No. No, wait", Adora said in pain.
"Don't lose your focus. We're so close", Shadow Weaver said as she helped her walk towards the Heart.
Catra Screams in the distance.
"Catra", Adora shouted as she ran off to find her.
"Adora, wait", Shadow Weaver shouted.
"So brave, risking yourself for Adora. But it will make no difference. The Heart is almost mine, and when it is, your Adora will die", Sigma said with a nasty smirk.
The Creature picks up Catra and holds her near its mouth.
Sigma asked, "so, tell me, little sister, was it worth it?"
Then a spell was shot at the creature releasing Catra.
Shadow Weaver then appeared and started to fight the creature.
Catra crashed to the floor, and felt someone holding her head up as Shadow Weaver fought against the beast!
Catra muttered, "A-Adora?"
Shadow Weaver casts magic, blasting Catra and Adora back towards the entryway. She casts magic, making a barrier between the room and the corridor.
Catra shouted as she bangs on barrier with fists, "Shadow Weaver, no! What are you doing?"
"Please, Catra. You need to make sure Adora reaches the Heart. The magic must be set free", Shadow Weaver said with a sad look on her face.
Her hold on the Creature breaks, and the Creature shrieks. Shadow Weaver groans as she forms a barrier to protect herself from it's attack.
"Stop it! It's going to kill you", Catra shouted in fear.
"It's too late for me. But you, this is only the beginning for you. I am so proud of you, Catra", Shadow Weaver said with a smile.
Catra then started to cry.
"No! No", Catra cried.
Adora asked, "Catra?"
Catra looks to Adora and looks back to Shadow Weaver. Shadow Weaver takes off her mask, it falls to the ground, she smiles at Catra and Adora.
"You're welcome", Shadow Weaver said with a smile. She turns back to the creature and self-destructs into a fiery explosion, engulfing the room and the Creature.
Adora kneels on the ground, crying. Catra is standing and the barrier falls.
Adora muttered, "she redeemed herself…."
Catra said, "redemption? Yes. But in the end, she simply did what she could, so that others would have a better chance…. Come on. We have to go."
Adora stands and they hug, as they start walking down the corridor.
….
Sam and Hordak along with the Jedi all used the force at the same time on the clones.
Sam shouted, "ready?"
The other Jedi all yelled, "ready!"
And they let loose an enormous blast of the force that sent the clones flying into the air!
"Nice work guys", Omega shouted as she blasted a few clones.
"Ahsoka", Leon shouted.
The clone that was coming up behind Ahsoka was blasted in the back.
"Leave my sister alone", Ashla shouted in anger.
Ahsoka smiled and yelled, "Ashla!"
Leon said, "so that's your sister? Neat."
Prime held aloft his own blaster and yelled, "let's end this!"
Scorpia and Bow along with Tech then joined the fight.
Sam exclaimed, "glad to see you free Scorpia!"
Scorpia yelled, "it's great to be free! It's time for some well deserved payback!"
The group then charged towards the horde Clones.
….
Catra tightens her grip on Adora, Adora sighs in pain. Both gasp. In front of them was the Heart.
"The Heart of Etheria. We made it", Adora said with a small smile.
Catra and Adora let go of each other and look at each other, Adora walks towards the Heart and tries to transform, but she can't. She screams and falls backwards into Catra's arms.
Catra asked as she held Adora, "what is it? What's wrong?"
"I don't…. I don't know. I can't transform", Adora said worried.
The room rumbles and begins to turn green with Horde Sigma's virus.
"It's Sigma's virus. It's keeping me from becoming She-Ra", Adora said in fear.
Catra asked, scared, "what does that mean? Is the Failsafe not going to work without her?"
Adora had tears falling down her face.
"No. It'll work", Adora said as she stared up at the heart, "get as far away from here as you can. I have to do this next part on my own."
Catra asked, scared for her friend, "Adora, what is going to happen to you?"
Adora then walked towards the Heart.
"Without She-Ra, the magic will destroy me. I'm sorry, Catra. I'm so sorry. But there's no more time. It has to end here. I can still save everybody", Adora said with tears in her eyes.
She walks forward and grabs Catra's head.
"It's okay, I'm ready", Adora said softly.
Catra cried and said, "please…. Don't go!"
Adora said, "I'm sorry. There's no other way. When you remember me…. Remember the good times…."
Adora let Catra go and ran towards the heart with as much energy as she could exert!
Catra yelled, "ADORA!"
Adora then stops and screams, and starts to collapse in pain.
Catra ran towards her and held her in her arms.
Catra asked with fear, "Adora?"
Adora groans in pain.
"No, no, no, no, no. No! No", Catra cried out.
She looks up to see the environment getting more infected with Horde Sigma's virus. A bolt of green light comes down and strikes the Heart.
….
On Sigma's ship.
"Ah. I can feel it. The Heart is mine",Sigma said as he clenched his fists.
"You can't do this! The Heart's power is too unstable! It will take you and the whole universe with it", Entrapta shouted in fear.
Sigma yelled, "no! Don't you see! I shall rule the universe! I shall become more powerful than any Horde clone! Any Jedi! Any Sith! I will be a GOD!"
"If you're a God, then I'm a Gungan."
Entrapta then turned around to see who had said that.
Standing there was a long dead wielder of both the dark and the light. Dressed in a metal mask and robes.
Revan!
Sigma growled, "who are you?!"
Revan said, "I am Revan. And I am here to help end your reign of terror!"
Revan force pushed the clone that was holding Entrapta and he ran towards Sigma and before Sigma could even react, Revan stabbed a purple lightsaber blade into his chest!
"I didn't know Force ghosts could do that", Entrapta said in amazement.
Revan turned to Entrapta and said, "the force can lead many to different paths."
But then, they heard Sigma starting to chuckle.
"Uhhh….", Entrapta said a bit scared as she started to back away.
"Wrong Sigma."
Entrapta grew wide-eyed as Revan said, "it's up to her to stop you now…."
Revan then faded away.
Sigma then walked towards Entrapta.
He said, "it doesn't matter what you do! Once the heart is under my command, and with countless clones at my disposal, my rule will live on! Forever!"
"No", Entrapta shouted as she tried to run, but Sigma grabbed her by the hair.
Sigma then snaps his fingers and they disappear from the room.
….
Etheria
Luke and Leia were slashing a few clones with their lightsabers.
"Leia behind you", Han shouted as he blasted a clone with his blaster.
Leia exclaimed, "thanks babe", as she shot another clone that ran at her.
Luke yelled, "whatever Adora's doing, she better do it fast!"
A clone snuck up behind Luke and kicked him in the back.
"Luke", Leia shouted, but she was unable to get to her brother as more clones stood in the way.
"You shall know the terror of Horde Sigma's-", the clone said before he was cut off.
Hordak had sliced the clone's head off and yelled, "get away from him, you son of a bitch!"
Hordak used the force to send the remains away as he helped Luke up.
"Uncle Hordak….", Luke said both in amazement and fear.
Hordak said, "no-one's gonna hurt our family. Never again."
Luke gave a grateful nod as he and Hordak ran over to Sam and Leia.
"Ready….", Tech said to the Bad Batch, Prime and Ashla as he and Bane held a few detonators in their hands.
They all nodded as Tech shouted, "NOW!"
They all activated the thermal detonators and threw them at the clones, blowing a bunch of them to charred bits!
Prime and Ashla then fired at the clones.
"Take this you creeps", Omega shouted as she blasted a few clones.
Hunter yelled, "that's my girl!"
Wrecker jumped off of a boulder and onto some clones while yelling, "DIVE BOMB!"
Wrecker ended up crushing a few clones.
"Way to go Wrecker", Echo shouted as he kept blasting the clones with his blasters.
Crosshair shot a few clones in the head.
He said, "this is getting intense! Is there anything else that can go wrong today?!"
Everyone then looks to see Horde Sigma appear on a cliff along with Entrapta, he then lets her fall down to the ground.
"Rejoice, Etheria, for your end has finally come! You have chosen darkness", Sigma said with a deranged smile on his face.
The ground then starts to split apart.
"And so, into darkness you shall be plunged", Sigma continued.
The sickening green of Horde Sigma's virus comes bursting out of the ground.
"The world shall end in fire", Sigma finished.
Sam, and Hordak were hugging each other and Luke close to them.
Ahsoka and Leon were hugging each other.
Prime hugged Ashla close to him.
Han held Leia close to him.
Hordak Jr hugged Obi Wan.
The Bad Batch all surrounded Omega as the Jedi and clones huddled together.
As Sigma cackled into the air, the group knew there was only one hope left for them all!
"SHE-RA! WHERE ARE YOU!?"

I tell ya, this chapter was a HUGE relief, on top of being a huge number of words.
Wrapping up the mind control plotline lifted a huge weight off of my shoulders.
The next chapter will be part 3.
