Chapter 33: Flowers

Scorpia didn't know how, but she found herself standing in a fast fog, with no one else in sight.

Scorpia asked, a bit scared, "hello, is anyone there?"

At first, all she heard was the echo of her own words.

But then she heard a familiar voice yelling, "HELP!"

Scorpia turned her head around to see where the voice was coming from.

Scorpia shouted, "Perfuma!?"

She then began to hear a terrifying cackle.

She turned around, and saw Sigma standing there!

Scorpia growled, "where is she?!"

Sigma only laughed as he began to shift, growing larger and more monstrous as his hand outstretched past Scorpia, pointing towards a sight that made her freeze like a frozen statue.

Perfuma's eyes were green!

Scorpia cried, "no! No, please! Not her!"

Perfuma gave a devilish grin as she said, "you bring nothing but pain and suffering to those you love. How could I ever love someone as pathetic as you!"

Scorpia found herself unable to control herself as her claws clamped around Perfuma's neck!

Scorpia cried, "NO! NO!"

The light flickered in Perfuma's eyes as she cried, "I thought you loved me!"

As the light left her eyes, Scorpia screams in utter rage and agony, until…!

….

"NOOOOO!"

Scorpia sat up in bed, panting in utter fear, dressed in a black shirt and shorts.

Tears were stinging in her eyes as she looked around, seeing that it was the middle of the night.

Perfuma then ran into the room with a scared look on her face.

Perfuma asked worried and scared, "Scorpia!? What's wrong?"

Scorpia couldn't even speak as she broke down, crying into her claws as her body shook with sobs.

Perfuma gave a saddened look as she carefully sat down next to the larger woman.

"I had a nightmare….", Scorpia sobbed.

Perfuma asked softly, "what was it about?"

Scorpia sobbed, "S-Sigma. H-he made me watch as you…. You got chipped…. T-then…. I…. I s-s-s-stranggled…."

Scorpia couldn't finish as she started crying again.

Perfuma gave a look of worry as she slowly put her arms around Scorpia.

"Relax, it was only a dream, and Sigma is gone, She-Ra and the spirits of the Jedi made sure he can't return, ever", Perfuma said as she comforted Scorpia.

Scorpia said, "but I still remember it. Sigma. The chips. I nearly hurt so many of my friends. And…. I could never forgive myself if I ever hurt you."

Perfuma asked, "Scorpia, that is all in the past, remember what Sam told us about one of the lessons of the Jedi?"

Scorpia said with a soft chuckle, "uhhh…. I forgot which one?"

Perfuma, "sometimes, you must let go of the things you fear to lose."

Scorpia blurted out, "but how could I let go of you? I love you!"

Both grew silent and wide-eyed with blushes as red as tomatoes.

Perfuma muttered, "y-you what?"

Scorpia said, "I…. I love you."

Perfuma said with a blush on her face, "you do?"

Scorpia gave a shaky nod, but her blush grew deeper as Perfuma hugged her around the shoulders. She cried as she said, "I love you too."

Scorpia's tears of sorrow turned to tears of joy as she hugged Perfuma back, trying to be gentle as she did so.

"It might be a while until I can fall asleep again", Scorpia said.

Perfuma said with a smile, "well, you can come and help me in the garden if you want to?"

Scorpia said, "that would be nice, actually."

Perfuma smiled as the two got out of the bed and made their way to the garden outside.

The two walked through the moonlight, the rays shining in their hair.

Scorpia asked, "what plants have you been growing here Perfuma?"

Perfuma replied, "oh! What plants haven't I been growing? I think I've got just about every plant on Etheria. Oh, I'd love to add planets from other planets to my guardian. Sam, Luke and Leia have told me about Kalpi, Featherfern, Royal Fluzz, Gillypod, Dreamwort, Bonshyyyr, Milk Grass, Mushbloom, Bleeding Gut, Mushling, and oh so many more!"

"Well, we will get that chance once we join the Rebel alliance", Scorpia said with a smile.

"I want to help in restoring plant life,Sam has told me that the empire has been harming the planets and their plant life", Perfuma said in a sad tone.

Scorpia said, "well, as God as my witness, I'll make sure that you get to help restore as much planet life as you can."

Perfuma said as she stared at the moon, "the moonlight is really pretty, don't you think?"

Scorpia was staring at Perfuma as she said, "yeah…. But not as much as you."

Perfuma blushes as she said, "stop, you're just saying that."

Scorpia continued with, "no, I mean it. Perfuma, you're beautiful."

Perfuma, "really? I mean, look at you. You're so strong, well built, cute, your hair is always a very adorable hairstyle…."

Scorpia, "well I happen to love the way you're built. You're so delicate and elegant. Your hair is much longer and beautiful. I just…."

They both said, "I wish I looked more like you."

The two were silent for a few moments before Scorpia asked, "hey, Perfuma…. Want to dance?"

Perfuma smiled and said, "I'd love to."

Scorpia smiled as she placed one claw on Perfuma's shoulder and the other on her lower back, with Perfuma doing the same. The two slowly began to dance to an unheard beat as they stared upon one another.

The moonlight seemed to follow them wherever they danced off to.

Their eyes never left the others as they danced throughout the garden, smiles ever present as the night seemed utterly perfect to the pair.

Scorpia then yawned.

"I already feel tired", Scorpia said.

"It's best we get some sleep, tomorrow we have to help in building those statues", Perfuma said as she also yawned.

The two made their way to Scorpia's room, and Scorpia sat on her bed, looking at Perfuma.

She asked, "um, Perfuma?"

Perfuma asked, "yes?"

Scorpia smiled and asked, "do you think you could sleep here tonight? I…. I don't wanna be left alone…."

Perfuma smiled and said, "of course."

Scorpia smiled as she laid down and scooted over, allowing Perfuma to lay down next to her. They pulled the blankets over themselves, and Scorpia pulled Perfuma into her arms.

She said, "good night…. My flower…."

Perfuma replied, "good night…. My big, strong, arachnid."

The two kissed each other good night before dozing off….

….

The next day.

Perfuma asked, "how did the lightsabers look?"

Scorpia said, "well, Sam and the other Jedi said they're very similar to swords."

Scorpia and Perfuma were in the kingdom Plumeria.

It was decided that every kingdom and village on Etheria would have a statue of the Jedi to honor their memories.

The statue in Plumeria was going to be of Qui Gon Jinn, due to his caring nature among the Jedi.

The statue in what was once the Fright Zone would be of Revan, because of his shift from the dark to the light.

The statue in Bright Moon was going to be of Mara, for obvious reasons.

In the field where the final battle took place, the statue would be of Antauri.

Statues of every Jedi who helped defeat Sigma would be in the various kingdoms and places across the planet.

"I am going to have Qui Gon's statue be in a garden full of flowers", Perfuma said with a smile.

Scorpia replied, "well I'm sure the others will really appreciate it. Especially Obi Wan."

"Sam did tell me how close Obi Wan was to Qui Gon", Perfuma said with a sad smile.

Scorpia replied, "he told me too. He always saw him as a father figure."

"Well let's keep building. The statue is nearly done and after it's done, we'll start to build the garden. And I was thinking of have a pond next to the garden as well", Perfuma said with a smile.

Scorpia said, "ah, another reason to love you. Your decor skills are amazing."

Perfuma giggled.

"Let's get to work everyone", Perfuma said with a smile on her face.

Scorpia followed right behind Perfuma as she approached where the statue would be erected.

The people of Plumeria would help in building the statue as well.

4 hours later.

The statue was nearly completed, needing a few small details chiseled in and such, and Perfuma was digging whole to put the flowers in for the garden.

Scorpia helped in building a medium pond that would have a waterfall.

3 hours later.

After that long, they were finally able to complete the statue and the garden built around it.

The statue depicted Qui Gon in a contemplative look.

Scorpia asked as she had a arm wrapped around Perfuma, "well what do you think Perfuma?"

"It looks so beautiful! Even more with the garden and the pond", Perfuma squealed.

Scorpia said, "well, you should be proud of it. All of your hard work paid off."

"Call Obi Wan, I can't wait to see his reaction", Perfuma said with a giggle.

"I think he is in Dryl with Entrapta", Scorpia said with a smile.

Perfuma gave a loving sigh as she said, "love is all around, it seems. So many couples making this planet a better place."

"I know I like those two together, hopefully Obi Wan realizes Entrapta loves him", Scorpia said with a smile.

Perfuma said, "me too. Obi Wan deserves some love after everything he did for others during the Clone Wars."

"Well let's go to Dryl, and get Obi Wan so he can see the statue of his former master", Scorpia said with a smile on her face.

Perfuma could only smile as she held Scorpia's claw and they began their journey to Dryl.

….

Scorpia and Perfuma have just arrived in Dryl.

Scorpia asked, "which Jedi was going to have their statue built here Perfuma? I forgot?"

Perfuma replied, "I think it was master Windu who got a statue here."

The two then saw the statue of Mace Windu up ahead.

"It looks so beautiful", Perfuma said with a loving sigh.

"I think I see Obi Wan and Entrapta", Scorpia said as she pointed in front of them.

True to her word, there was Obi Wan and Entrapta. Entrapta was working on some form of device, as Obi Wan stood next to her, asking, "so what is it again?"

Entrapta, "it's a shield that'll be around the place. That way if anyone attacks, it's an added defense."

"Very curious. I have never seen anything like it", Obi Wan said softly.

Entrapta then noticed Scorpia and Perfuma.

"Hello guys", Entrapta said with a smile.

Perfuma said, "oh! Hello you two! It's so wonderful to see all of this doing so well!"

"We are feeling a bit tired. My bots did help in building the statue for master Windu, but me and Obi Wan are tired", Entrapta said with a sigh.

Scorpia smiled and said, "we just came by to tell you that we finishes the statue of Master Qui Gon."

"We came here to ask if you wanted to come with us to see it", Perfuma asked with a smile on her face.

Entrapta squealed and said, "oh! Yes! That would be great! You wanna go see it Obi? Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh?"

Obi Wan chuckled at Entrapta's energy.

"Yes, my dear, but first calm down", Obi Wan said as he held Entrapta by the shoulders.

Entrapta started taking deep breaths, nut still rather quickly.

Scorpia snickered and said, "Obi?"

Obi Wan blushed a bit.

"Let's just go see the statue of my former master", Obi Wan said as he still had that blush on his face.

Perfuma said, "alright, follow us, Obi."

Scorpia started laughing as Obi Wan grew an even deeper shade of red.

….

The group then made it to Plumeria.

Obi Wan asked as Entrapta used her hair to cover Obi Wan's eyes, "when can I look?"

"Okay…. You can look now", Perfuma said with a smile on her face as they stood in front of Qui Gon's statue.

Obi Wan felt himself practically freeze as he saw the stony image of his master standing there.

Perfuma asked, "what do you think Obi Wan?"

Entrapta asked softly, "Obi? Are you okay?"

Obi Wan muttered, "it looks exactly like him. Every detail is in order."

"Even the garden and pond look beautiful", Entrapta said with a smile on her face.

Perfuma said, "I wanted it to look beautiful. And I hope to add a garden to ever statue."

"Perfuma…. If you were able to make this statue of my master look more beautiful, I'll tell the others to let you add a garden to every statue on Etheria", Obi Wan said with a smile on his face.

Perfuma gave an extremely excited expression with her hands flailing in front of her.

"Well, let's go tell them, I would love to see all the statues with gardens as well", Entrapta said, feeling happy.

Scorpia smiled as she jetted Perfuma into her arms and said, "let's go."
