JAG Headquarters

Falls Church Va

Harm pulled his Lexus into his normal parking spot. Killing the engine, he ran his hand over his tired face. Why the hell couldn't this new person wait until the morning to get into the building? Damn some people he thought. Grimacing he opened his door and headed up the building. He spotted Gunny Harris standing guard at the front door.

"I'm sorry to drag you out tonight Captain." Harm patted the Gunny on his shoulder. "It's fine Gunny. So where's the newbie?"

"Over in the courtyard Sir." Harm smiled and made his way over. He walked up to the man sitting with his back towards him, Harm tapped him on his shoulder. The man stood and turned around. Both men stood frozen as they looked at each other.

"Brumby?"

"Rabb?"

Meanwhile Back at

Harm and Mac's Apartment

North of Union Station

Mac continued to read her book, her thoughts drifting to what life would have been like durning the civil war. Part of herself was grateful that she'd never have to find out, but part of herself was also curious. Not thinking to much more, she settled back and continued to read on. After all Harm would want his update once he got back.

Hilltop over looking Atlanta

Late night 1865

Harmon held Sarah as he shared with her his life in Washington DC. She leaned back into his chest and allowed him to wrap his arms around her. She closed her eyes, picturing herself living this grand life with him. This was something she never believed she would be able to be apart of.

"Harmon all of this sounds like a wonderful dream. I have dreamed about a man such as you my entire life. I do not wish to loose you now."

"I have also dreamed of my perfect mate, a warm loving woman that I can share my thoughts and dreams with. I believe I have found her."

Turning in his embrace, she placed her hand on his cheek. "Please allow me to lay down with you. I can not be forced to lay with Mr Brumby. I can not let him take from me what I only wish to give to you."

"Darling, I am an honest man. I know you wish this. I wish this as well. However my mother raised me to not take advantage of a lady. And you my darling are a lady."

"A lady that has been sold! Sold like a piece of property." She placed her face in her hands crying into them. Harmon pulled her tighter to him. He placed his mouth next to ear. "I love you my darling. We will find a way out of this. Please give me a day."

Pulling back she looked into his eyes,she could see that he is sincere in his words. Breathing a heavy sign of relief, she brushed her lips on his. Only intending to give a light kiss, but the second their lips touched. Lighting shot through both of them. It was unlike anything they had ever felt before.

They found themselves starting to remove each other's garments as swiftly as they could. Before long both lay naked on the oversized blanket giving into their wants and desires.

Courtyard JAG Headquarters

Falls Church Va

"Brumby what on earth are you doing here?"

"I could ask you that same question mate?"

"You're the new lawyer that couldn't wait till morning to have access to the building?"

"I've been assigned here TAD."

Harm brushed his hand over his tired face. "Fine follow me."

"Why should I follow you?"

"You want inside I'm taking you inside."

"Why didn't Sarah come? Isn't she still Chief of Staff here?"

"No, she's a judge now. I'm the chief of staff now. And you will answer to me."

Before Mic could say anything else, Gunny Harris walked back back up. "Captain Rabb is everything okay sir?"

"Yes Gunny I've got this."Mic glanced over at the Gunny than back at Harm.

"Captain Rabb?"

"Yes Brumby."

"I guess that means I'm answering to you."

"Looks that way mate." Harm said as he headed towards the building with Brumby following him.

Harm pulled out his keys and started to open the door. When Brumby stoped him. "Look I can wait till in the morning."

"Why now all the sudden can you..." Ring Ring .. Harm lifted his hand up, he pulled out his cell phone. Looking at the caller I.D, he smiled. "Hey baby what do you need?" Pausing as he listened to Mac. He made a face. "You really want all that brought home? - Yes I know the doctor told you to give into your cravings. But really coconut flavored ice cream and sardines, with pickles." He grimaced just thinking about this. "I promise I'll stop and get it. Yes I know, I'm well aware of this. NO I'm not going to repeat you you too." Harm just stirred at his phone as he hung up.

Signing and forgetting for the moment that Brumby is standing near by, he mumbled- "She's got me whipped"

Gunny Harris started to laugh - "The Colonel having cravings sir?"

"All the time Gunny. You know how she gets."

"Yes sir, woman at this stage crave weird food. My wife was the same way sir."

"Be glad your wife isn't a highly skilled Marine."

Brumby now had put everything together and figured out that Rabb and Mac are married. Now he needed a new plan of action to win back the love of his life.
