After hanging up with Sturgis, Harm now had more questions than answers, he picked the phone back up and called JAG, he waited to see who would pick up.

["JAG headquarters; Lt Roberts speaking."]

"Bud it's Harm."

["Hello Sir;"]

"Bud, have any new cases come in since last night?"

["I'll have to check; give me a few minutes Sir."]

Bud placed Harm on hold while he went to check, in the meantime, Mac had woken up. She sat up and started to search around the room for Harm, not seeing him, she made her way out of the bed and to the top of the stairs. That's when she spotted him, standing at the desk with the phone to his ear.

Making her way down the stairs over to the desk, she wrapped her arms around his waist. Placing her lips next to his free ear, "who are you talking to husband dear?"

Harm turned in her arms, "I'm on hold with Bud, the business of Bugme showing up here is bothering me, so I called the office to see if any new cases showed up."

["Sir, I've checked and doubled checked, I can't find any new cases. Sir what's this all about?"]

"I'm honestly not sure Bud, thank you for checking."

["Anytime Sir."] Both Harm and Bud hung up. Only Harm tossed the phone across the room, Mac jumped startled by his actions.

"What's that damn aussie up to." Harm ran his hands over his tired face, Mac grabbed his face forcing him to look at her, "Rabb listen to me; don't let him get to you like this; that's what he wants, to get under your skin, he's always known just how to push your buttons enough to get you mad; show him that he can't do that anymore. Give him a dose of his own medicine."

"Just what do you have in mind?"

"The next mindless case that comes in; give to him. Give Bud or Sturgis the next high-profile case. Show Mic; that he's playing with the big boys now." Mac ran her hand down Harms pants cupping him fully in her hand, "and I do mean big boy."

Harm wiggled his eyes brows at Mac; "I love the way you think sweet thing."

"Well sweet thing is going to drag you back up to bed, so you can read to us."

"Oh is she now?"

"Yes" She grabbed ahold of Harm's waist band, dragging him behind her.

Union Army Base Camp

Outside Atlanta 1865

More than a few hours had past by, Sarah was still holding vigil at her beloveds bedside, he had not woken back up since the first time, not knowing what more she could do, she just remained next to him. A soft hand startled her.

"Ms Sarah we need to be going now."

"Bobbie I can not leave him alone here, it is my fault he was shot, I will not leave him."

"Ms Sarah if we don't head back Mr MacKenzie will be furious with us."

"Yes sadly you are indeed correct, you and Sturgis should head back, I will not. I will not return there; to only be sold like property. If he should inquire as to where I am, please do not tell him."

"Ma'am what about Mr Brumby? He will inform your father."

"Let him try; I will stand my ground." With that Sarah turned retaking her seat next to her Harmon.Bobbie lowered her as she walked away, she just knew something bad was going to happen to Ms Sarah, and there would be nothing that herself and Sturgis would be able to do to stop it.

After leaving the tent; she found her way back over to the wagon, "Where is Ms Sarah?"

"She refuses to leave the Union Soldier, Sturgis what are we going to tell Mr MacKenzie? He will be frightfully mad and blame us for her running away."

"We should go to Doc Boone; see if he can help us."

Bobbie nodded her head, she stepped up into the wagon, taking her seat next to her husband. As they left the camp, Mr Brumby stood near by lurking in the shrubs. His curiosity peeked; when he did not see Sarah MacKenzie in the wagon. He walked over to the guard on duty.

"The wagon that just left, what happened to the young woman that was with them?"

"To my knowledge Sir; it was only the two kind folks that always come and deliver eggs to us."

"Are you positive about that Ensign?"

"Yes Sir, I believe they are workers on one of the plantations near by; as to witch one; I am not aware."

Not believing a would word the man was saying; he started to leave, till a officer whom look like held more authority them this one did walked up. "Ensign is there a problem here?"

"No Sir General Chegwidden; in fact some kind people just delivered us fresh eggs." The General nodded his head, he then turned his attention to Mr Brumby.

"What seems to be your story Sir?"

"I am looking for my wife to be; I was lead to understand that she is here."

"I can assure you she's not; we do not allow unwed woman on base."

"I see; would you mind if I take a look around, just to ease my in mind."

"Yes as a matter of fact I do; we have rules in place. No civilians aloud, only if they are providing a service. You sir are not providing a service. Now please leave."

"Mark my words General; I will return."

General Chegwidden and Ensign Roberts stood watching Mr Brumby leave. "Sir you just lied to that man?"

"Yes and no Ensign."

"Sir did Ms MacKenzie leave?"

"No, she's still here, dressed as a nurse. However, she's no longer Ms. Mackenzie, as of 10 minutes ago; she's Mrs. Rabb."
