Chapter 50: Confrontation
Vader was placed in a maximum security prison and he was to wear the collar at all times.
Vader was sitting beside the wall when a trooper walked to the red force field.
"You have a visitor", the trooper said.
Vader slowly turned his gaze to see Padme entering the room, helmet under her arm as she said, "hello…."
"Padme", Vader said softly as he stood up.
"It's best for you to stay where you are Vader", Padme said as she glared at him.
Vader looked at Padme and said, "you're just as beautiful as the day I lost you."
Padme retorted, "you mean the day you broke my heart."
Vader had a look of sadness on his face.
"You lost me the day you betrayed me and your friends for the dark side", Padme said with a glare at Vader.
Vader said, "I did everything for you."
Padme laughed and said, "you did it all for me? Your actions caused my death. You caused it, trying to prevent it."
Vader clenched his fists.
"What you did was for nothing. You murdered innocent people…. Enslaved the galaxy…. And cared more about power than the people of the Galaxy", Padme growled.
Vader punched the wall, and a surge of electricity hit him, knocking him to his knees.
Padme said, "you won't change. The man I loved is dead. You killed him on Mustafar. And I pray that one day, you will see the horrible things you've done for what they are."
Vader then turned to look at Padme with his yellow glowing eyes.
Padme said, "Darth Vader, you are a monster."
Darth Vader growled in anger as he stood up to stare at Padme.
Padme, "the only reason I'm here, is to finally close this part of my life. I'm done with you Vader."
Padme said as she glared, "have nothing to say Vader?"
Vader remained silent as he glared at his wife, well, I guess you could call her ex wife now.
Padme turned to walk away…. When Vader grabbed her wrist.
She turned to see he had manged to punch through the wall, even as it shocked him.
"Padme…. Please don't do this to…. Me", Vader pleaded.
Padme glared at him as she snatched her hand away.
"You did this to yourself…. I was told of what you did to Luke and Leia…. All the harm you did to them", Padme growled.
Vader removed his hand and slumped to the ground.
Padme said, "I'd say maybe you could redeem yourself…. But I won't hold my breath."
"Padme…. Please, if you and our children could see through the lies of the Jedi and the Republic…. We can rule the galaxy as a family", Vader said with a bit of hope.
Padme glared at Vader and said, "I don't want to rule the galaxy. I want to guide it. To a better future. And the so called villains you describe the Jedi as, help people. They helped me. Sam. Luke. Leia. Your Empire is not the future anyone wants. You lost the right to your family... When you attacked me."
Vader said, "Padme…. Please."
Padme closed her eyes and said, "if there's any good still in you…. If Anakin Skywalker is still in there…. You won't come near me, or my family again."
Vader closed his eyes as tears fell down his face.
"So use this chance to think about all the crimes you have done as you will be here for a very long time", Padme said as she then walked out of the cell.
"Padme…. Please don't leave….", Vader pleaded.
As Padme walked down the halls, she had tears in her own eyes. Because despite all of the terrible things he had done…. Deep down, she hoped the man she loved was still in there.
Vader stared at the wall in sadness.
For once, his eyes were blue as he reflected upon everything he had done. To his friends. Family. Teammates. The entire galaxy.
Vader cried his heart out.

Naboo
Sam, Hordak, Adora and Catra watched as Aiden and Finn were playing in the playpen.
Finn moved very cat-like, running around and looking at everything as Aiden followed him around.
Aiden giggled as he caught Finn's tail. Finn hissed and grabbed his tail away from Aiden, cradling it.
"Aiden no…. We've told you before…. Don't grab Finn's tail like that", Sam said in a stern tone.
Aiden gave an apologetic look and hugged Finn.
"Now that was cute", Rey squealed.
The adults chuckled as Finn hugged Aiden back.
"I love seeing our children get along so well", Sam said with a smile on his face.
Adora smiled as well and said, "I agree. I feel good knowing Aiden, Finn and Flora will be growing up together."
BB8 rolled into the room and beeped.
Adora asked, "Padme's here?"
BB8 gave his equivalent to a nod as the others picked up the infants and carried them off to greet Padme.
Luke asked, "how did it go, mother?"
Padme sighed in sadness.
"I did it. I finally confronted him. Told him how ashamed I was of him. I told him to stay away from us…. As he lost the right to his family…. The moment he attacked me…. When he left us for the dark side", Padme said with a sad tone.
"You did the right thing, mom", Leia said.
"Vader still…. At least tried…. To talk me into joining him…. But I refused to listen to him", Padme said.
Luke said, "we're proud of you mom. You didn't give in. Even when it was hard not to."
Padme felt a few tears fall down her face.
"But still my heart vows for the man I fell in love with…. And married…. Is still in there….", Padme said with a few sobs.
Luke and Leia hugged their mother.
Sam said, "if my brother is truly still in there…. Then I hope he makes the right choice one day…."
Padme turned to see Sam and the others walk into the living room.
"Hi Sam", Padme said as she wiped her tears away.
Sam smiled and hugged Padme, saying, "hey sis."
Hordak, Adora and Catra walked in with the kids.
"Sam…. Are these your….", Padme asked.
Sam smiled and said, "our family. You know my husband, Hordak, Adora and her wife Catra. And the kids are, Rey and Grogu, our adopted kids, Finn, Adora and Catra's son, and me and Hordak's son, Aiden."
Padme walked over to the kids.
"Nice to meet you all…. I'm Padme Amidala", Padme said with a smile at the kids.
As the kids stared at such a revered woman, Rey asked innocently, "are you an angel?"
Padme asked softly with a smile on her face, "what?"
Adora and Catra giggled at how cute Rey was having asked that question.
Rey said, "an angel. You look just as pretty as one."
Padme chuckled and said, "no, no, I'm just as human as you. But thank you. You are such a nice girl. Now tell me your names."
"I'm Rey Skywalker…. These are my little brothers Grogu and Aiden Skywalker", Rey said with a smile.
Aiden and Grogu smiled at Padme as she said, "It's very nice to see you all. I'm Luke and Leia's mother, Padme."
Padme looked at and Finn and asked, "and who is this cutie?"
"This is our son, Finn", Catra said as she held Finn in her arms.
Padme said, "oh, isn't he adorable."
But as she tried to tickle him, he nipped at one of her fingers!
Adora said, "Finn!"
Catra said, "sorry. He gets his animal instincts from me."
Padme reached her hand towards him again…. And she started to pet his head.
Finn purred.
"That's so cute", Adora squealed.
"Auntie", Aiden giggled as he reached his arms towards Padme.
Padme smiled and asked, "may I?"
Hordak said, "by all means, Auntie Padme."
Aiden was put into her arms as she asked, "does he have a full name?"
Sam said, "yes…. Aiden Amidalla Skywalker."
Padme asked with tears in her eyes, "you gave him…. My last name?"
Sam said, "well, yeah. You meant a lot to this family, and I wanted to honor your memory."
Aiden placed his hand on Padme's cheek.
Aiden said as he tilted his head, "Auntie…. Padme?"
Padme said, "t-that's right. I'm your Aunt."
Aiden giggled as he hugged his aunt Padme.
Padme let out a few tears fall down her face.
"Don't cry, Padme", Sam said as he hugged her.
Padme said, "I can't help it. I'm just so happy to be a part of this family."
Hordak joined in on the hug.
"Speaking of which…. You're welcome to live here with us, Padme", Hordak said with a smile on his face.
Padme tried to say, "oh, no, I couldn't impose-"
But Sam said, "nonsense. You're family. You always have a place here."
Padme smiled softly.
Luke and Leia joined in on the hug.
Padme couldn't stop crying again as she was held by her family.
Her life had just gotten better, for she no longer had to hide behind a mask, and now she can be with her family.
Things were really looking up….

Timeskip.
Today was Padme's day off and she was babysitting Aiden.
Padme watched as the toddler played with the droids.
It brought a smile to her face as she watched the infant having fun.
BB8 beeped.
Padme asked before she gasped, "what is it…?"
BB8 and Hamill were being lifted into the air by…. Aiden.
Aiden was using the force for the first time!
Padme was shocked as she muttered, "how the…. You're not even five yet!"
Aiden giggled as he held Hamill and BB8 in the air.
"I gotta tell Sam and Hordak about this", Padme said with a smile on her face.
Aiden slowly put down the droids and started wobbling over to Padme.
Padme said with a giggle, "aww, you want me to pick you up?"
Aiden cooed as he wobbled to her.
Padme picked him up and Aiden hugged Padme as he was giggling.
Padme said, "I'm so glad I agreed to babysit you. You are too precious!"
"Auntie", Aiden squealed in delight.
Hamill beeped as he jumped onto Padme's shoulder.
Padme said, "oh! Heh, hello there Hamill. It's great to see you too."
Hamill beeped.
"Would you mind calling Sam and Hordak…. They have to know that Aiden used the force for the first time", Padme said with a smile on her face.
Hamill nodded before jumping off of her shoulders and racing off.
Aiden asked, "Dada? Mama?"
"They are at the Jedi Temple sweetie…. Don't worry, they will be here in a few moments", Padme said with a smile on her face.
Aiden smiled as he snuggled close to Padme.
Padme would never get tired of her nephew's antics.
"Well, I'll put you in your playpen…. While we wait for your parents to get here Aiden", Padme said as she placed him back in his playpen.
Aiden squealed as he grabbed a ball and threw it at BB8.
This time, BB8 managed to avoid the round object as it sailed at them.
BB8 beeped.
Aiden then crawled towards BB8 and hugged him.
It's like everything the kid did only made him more adorable.
Especially when he tried to say, "Bebeight."
"AWWWWW! That was so cute", Padme squealed as she hugged Aiden.
Aiden hugged back as BB8 rolled around them.
….
A few minutes later.
Sam and Hordak walked into their home, dressed in their Jedi robes and cloaks.
"Dada! Mama", Aiden squealed as he saw his parents.
Sam said, "hey buddy!"
Sam used the force to pull his son into his arms.
Aiden giggled as he hugged his father.
"Dada", Aiden giggled.
Sam kissed his son's forehead.
Hordak did the same to their son and said, "so, what was so important that our little man accomplished?"
"How about Aiden shows you instead", Padme said as she took Aiden from Sam's arms and placed him in his playpen.
Hamill and BB8 were in the Playpen.
"Show them Aiden", Padme said.
Aiden looked at the droids, and after a few moments, they began to float into the air as Aiden giggled!
Sam and Hordak were shocked, their jaws dropped!
Padme asked with a giggle, "well?"
Sam started shaking Hordak and said, "honey, our son can use the force!"
Hordak was still and silent for a moment…. Before he twirled Sam in the air as he laughed!
Sam laughed as well as he hugged Hordak.
Padme couldn't stop from chuckling at the display.
"This is so amazing! Our son can use the force, and at such a young age", Hordak said with a smile on his face.
Sam said, "I know! Imagine everything we could teach him!"
"Dada! Mama", Aiden squealed as he reached his arms towards them.
Hordak picked up Aiden and gave him kisses on his forehead and cheek.
Aiden giggled.
Sam tousled his hair and said, "who's our little Jedi? You are! Yes you are!"
Aiden squealed as he hugged Hordak.
"Dada! Mama", Aiden squealed.
All three adults chuckled at the boy's enthusiasm.
"We can't wait to start training you in the ways of the force, my little imp", Hordak said with a smile on his face.
Sam said, "you'll have the best training we can give you."
Aiden giggled as he waved his arms around.
The 3 adults smiled.
….
On Coruscant, Vader kept staring at the wall as he sat on the floor.
His mind was clouded with many conflicting emotions. Anger. Regret. Despair. Jealousy. Longing.
So many conflicting thoughts.
His wife…. Was alive this whole time…. And she hated him.
His children…. They had denied him at every turn…. They despised him.
And his brother…. Hated him for everything he has done.
And his mind remembered words Master Yoda had told him on his first day at the temple.
Fear is the path to the Dark side.
Fear leads to anger.
Anger leads to hate.
Hate…. Leads to suffering.
Which is what Vader was feeling right now…. He was suffering.
His family refused to join him…. And they hated him for everything he has done.
Anger filled their eyes when they saw him.
And all of this happened…. Because of his fear of losing Padme….
Now his empire was all but gone…. Padme was now the chancellor and ruler of the Republic.
And he was stuck in a prison cell.
Left with regret and anger over everything he had done to the people he once called friends and family.
Would his family…. Even come to visit him?
What was left for him? What could he do? That thought sat in his mind as he got onto his bed and laid down, staring at the ceiling.
….
Etheria
The Skywalker family decided to take Padme to visit the planet where they met Hordak, Adora, Catra and the others.
She was amazed by how beautiful the planet was as they landed at Castle Bright Moon.
"This planet is so beautiful", Padme said in awe.
"We're glad you like it", Glimmer said with a smile.
"And I am glad we crashed on this planet", Sam said with a smile.
Hordak kissed Sam and said, "so am I."
Bow said, "come on. We'll take you to meet our king."
The group led Padme through castle Bright Moon.
"Woah", Padme said in awe.
Glimmer said, "yep. A lot of memories in this place."
"Glimmer!"
Glimmer was tackled into a bear hug by her father and aunt Castaspella.
Glimmer managed to say, "dad! Auntie Castaspella! It's great to see you! I like to breathe!"
"Sorry, sweetie", Micah said.
"It's been so long since you and your friends have come to visit", Castaspella said.
"Nice to see you King Micah", Bow said.
Micah said, "It's wonderful to see you all. Although, I see we have some new faces. Sam, care to introduce them?"
"Of course…. These are Rey, Grogu, and Aiden", Sam said with a smile.
"They are our children", Hordak said with a smile as he hugged Sam close to him.
Micah said, "congratulations. And I see Adora and Catra have a child as well. As do Scorpia and Perfuma."
Castaspella, "and who are you my dear?"
"My name is Padme Amidala…. I'm the mother of Luke and Leia Skywalker", Padme said with a smile.
Micah and Castaspella gave surprised looks as Micah said, "uh…. But, uh…. Isn't she…. I mean…. Aren't you supposed to be…. Uh…. Y'know…."
"It's a long story…. We'll start from the beginning", Sam explained.
….
One long explanation later….
Micah and Castaspella simply said, "... woah."
"But now I am with my family and I will stay with them until the end", Padme said as she hugged her children.
Micah said, "I know exactly what you mean", as he stared upon his daughter.
The group introduced Padme to every location on the planet.
She was amazed by every single thing they showed her.
She was amazed at the statues of the Jedi in every location.
They soon arrived in the Light Zone.
She asked, "so this whole place used to be much more dark and violent?"
"Pretty much", Sam said.
"But now it's a much more peaceful place", Hordak said with a smile on his face.
"I can see that", Padme said.
They then approached the old fortress once used by the Horde.
Padme asked, "what did happen to the rest of the Horde after the war on Etheria was over?"
Hordak said, "they were given a choice of joining the New Republic military, or simply going on to live normal lives."
Padme asked, "were there a few who refused to join?"
Hordak said, "a few. A small number of those who joined the Horde to cause pain and suffering. Something I sadly let them do. Those individuals were tried for their crimes."
"Well they are now in prison…. Along with Vader", Sam said.
Hordak said, "let us show you around the place. I heard Entrapta is here doing some repairs on the shields."
Padme smiled softly.
The group then found themselves in the halls of the Light Zone base.
"It's so weird to think this place used to look so scary", Luke said.
Leia said, "I know, right. It was creepsville central."
Hordak said, "well, renaming it the Light Zone helped the process of making this place…. Nor scary."
"Look…. This used to be my and Hordak's room", Sam said.
The group looked through the doorway to see the nicely kept room.
Hordak asked, "I wonder who lives in this room now?"
As if to answer the question, they heard flushing from the bathroom, and who came out of it?
Double Trouble!
"Hello there", Double Trouble said as they smiled.
The group waved hello at them and they walked off to find Entrapta.
"This used to be my throne room", Hordak said.
Where the throne used to be was now some sort of machine.
Luke asked, "what is it?"
Hordak said, "Entrapta called it…. A snack machine."
Padme asked, "a snack machine?"
Sam asked, "for what?"
Hordak said, "for people to get something small to eat when on a break."
"That's the Entrapta we know", Leia said with a smile.
And speaking of the devil, they heard a loud noise and next thing they knew, Entrapta skidded into the room on her butt, her pigtails standing on end.
"Hi guys", Entrapta shouted.
"Hi Entrapta", everyone said.
Padme asked, "where's Obi Wan?"
As if summoned, he ran into the room with a first aid kit!
Luke asked, "uh, Obi Wan, why do you have a first aid kit?"
Obi Wan said, "when you live with this woman, you gotta be prepared for stuff like this everyday."
Entrapta said, "love you too, sweety."
"Oh right…. Entrapta always gets into accidents", Hordak chuckled.
"Hey", Entrapta said.
Sam said, "oh, you know it's true. Last time I was here, you nearly burned your eyebrows off from trying to build a makeshift lightsaber with batteries!"
Entrapta blushed as everyone laughed.
Obi Wan hugged Entrapta to make her feel less embarrassed.
….
Later on Naboo.
Padme was in the Skywalker mansion and she was hanging out with Hunter.
Despite the two only having known each other for a couple of days, they grew a bond similar to a brother and sister.
It's amazing how close people can grow after such a short time.
Hunter was telling Padme various stories of how protective the others were of Luke and Leia.
Padme giggled, "really!? That happened!?"
Hunter chuckled and said, "yep. I'm surprised Sam, Adora and Hordak weren't foaming from the mouth when they saw the soldiers attacking the kids. I was there as well, when that happened."
Hunter then flashbacked to that moment.
….
Flashback
Sam, Hordak, Hunter and Adora were in the woods near a flower field.
Today they at least had a day to relax before they would find a way to stop Sigma.
Hordak was trying to take up painting, and was painting Sam as he sat on a boulder meditating.
Adora giggled, "really Hordak? I never thought you could paint?"
Hordak said, "well, I thought I might take it up. I hope to keep painting after this war is finally over."
"Well you're doing a great job", Hunter said.
"Thank you", Hordak said.
Then two screams rang through the air.
Sam's eyes instantly opened as he yelled, "the twins!"
The group quickly grabbed their weapons and ran off towards the screams.
When the group got there…. They saw Horde clones surround the twins.
One tried to say, "stay where you a-"
Before a blaster bolt hit them through the forehead!
"Hey you…. Leave them alone", Hunter shouted.
"Luke…. Leia…. Cover your ears and look away", Adora said.
The twins did as they were told.
Sam shouted in anger, "how dare you try to harm my little angels like that!?"
Adora ran at the clones with her sabers drawn, yelling in utter rage!
Hordak, Hunter and Sam ran forward as well, yelling in rage.
They all let out karate yells as they beat up the clones!
Luke and Leia didn't dare look at the carnage being wrought by their family.
Blasters went flying in the air as the adults kept on beating up the clones as they screamed in pain!
One tried to drag himself away, but was pulled back into the fray by Adora.
Hordak and Sam let out karate yells as they beat up several clones!
Hunter climbed up a boulder and then jumped on a clone elbow first!
"Please make this stop", one clone cried in pain.
Sam yelled, "NEVER!"
The beating kept on going as blasters flew in the air!
20 minutes later….
The adults all looked upon the Horde soldiers laying on the ground.
Luke asked, "is it over?"
Leia asked, "can we look now?"
Sam said, "uh…. Let's lead you away from all of this first…."
Sam and Hordak led the kids away from the sight of the brutality, with Hunter and Adora behind them.
The twins could hear the groaning coming from the clones.
Luke asked, "uh…. What did you guys do to them?"
Hunter said, "we taught them a lesson, kid. We taught them a lesson."
"A lesson they will never forget", Adora said.
"And to never mess with you again", Hordak said.
Sam said, "now, let's get back to relaxing. We might as well enjoy ourselves before we go back to the war."
Luke and Leia smiled.
….
Present.
"Well first…. I'm so grateful for all of you protecting Luke and Leia", Padme said with a smile on her face.
Hunter said, "it's no trouble. Afterall, everyone cares about those kids. We wanna keep them safe."
Padme smiled.
Hunter said, "speaking of which, Sam and Hordak did tell me a story about how one time…."
….
Flashback.
Sam was standing beside Hordak as he sat on his throne.
Hordak said, "I was thinking of taking up painting. What do you think?"
"That sounds like a great idea my love", Sam said with a smile on his face.
Emily ran into the room beeping.
Sam asked, "what is it Emily?"
Emily made a few bleeps, and Sam growled, "they did WHAT?!"
Hordak pressed a button on his chair.
He said, "all Horde Soldiers report to the courtyard. Especially Force Captains Octavia and Kennedy."
In a matter of seconds…. Every Horde soldier, along with Catra, Entrapta, Scorpia, Kyle, Lonnie and Rogelio were in the courtyard.
Octavia and Kennedy, another female captain who had flirted with Sam before Hordak had shot it down, were standing in the middle of it all.
Octavia asked, "so what did he want to see us for?"
Sam and Hordak approached the two force captains.
"Emily came running into my throne room to tell both me and my beloved something important….", Hordak said with a glare at the captains.
Kennedy asked, "and what could that possibly be?"
Sam growled, "you hurt my niece and nephew."
The two force captains' faces went pale.
Catra was snickering.
"We did no such thing", Octavia said, a bit nervous.
Sam said, "like I'm gonna believe the woman who forced me to try and kiss her, even when I made it clear I'm not interested."
"What harm did you bring upon the kids….", Hordak growled.
Octavia said, "n-nothing!"
Hordak yelled, "LIAR! WHAT DID YOU DO TO THEM?!"
"ANSWER RIGHT NOW", Sam screamed in anger.
The rest of the Horde soldiers shivered in fear at the anger of Sam and Hordak.
Scorpia hugged Catra and Entrapta in fear at the outburst as the two force captains stepped back as Sam and Hordak glared at them.
"Well we might have…. Sorta….", Octavia stuttered.
Sam growled in anger, "sorta what?"
Kennedy said, "we sorta…. Well…."
Hordak growled, "spit it out!"
"We sorta…. Might have left a few gashes on their arms and legs….", Octavia stuttered in fear.
"And also their backs", Kennedy said in fear.
Sam and Hordak grew infuriated faces, before roaring into the air like wild animals!
Sam roared in anger, "WHY YOU TWO!?"
Hordak roared in anger as they jumped towards the two force captains, "WHY WE OUGHTA!"
Sam and Hordak jumped at the captains, and all four were engulfed in a cloud of dust as the lovers beat up the captains.
"Oh my goodness", Entrapta cried in terror.
"Now I understand what would happen if one of us…. Had hurt Luke or Leia", Scorpia said in fear.
The cloud of dust led to the door and hallway.
The cloud moved throughout the entire fortress, cries of pain and grunts of anger echoing everywhere.
"AAAAAAH-HO-HO-HO-HO-AAAH!
The Horde soldiers froze at the sound of the screams of pain.
Catra asked Kyle, Rogelio and Lonnie, scared out of her wits, "what do you think…. Happened?"
Lonnie said, "I don't wanna know."
Kyle added, "neither do I."
Rogelio replied, "me neither."
Then Octavia and Kennedy peaked their heads through the door.
Kennedy said, "frankly, I'm not sure how they did this…."
The two women were tangled together like a pretzel, trying to untie themselves from one another like a messed up game of twister.
Everyone stared in horror as they saw the two women walk inside.
Catra asked, "what the..?"
"I for once…. Do not wanna know how those two did that", Entrapta said in fear as she hugged Emily.
Scorpia said, "I say we never speak of this moment again, otherwise I'll have nightmares for the rest of my life."
Sam and Hordak walked inside as they dusted their hands off.
Sam said, "I'm glad we took care of that…. So, you said you wanted to take up painting?"
Hordak nodded his head.
"Let this all be a warning….", Hordak said to the rest of the Horde soldiers.
"No one is to hurt the Skywalker's twins, or they answer to me and my beloved, aka; your leader", Sam finished.
Hordak shouted, "understood!?"
Everyone nods their heads in fear.
….
Present.
"To be honest…. I don't want to find out how Sam and Hordak did that", Padme said with a giggle.
Hunter said, "neither do I. I'm just glad I never learned how."
Padme asked as she had the stroller that Aiden and Grogu shared beside her, "what do you say we take the kids out for a walk?"
Hunter said, "good idea. Get the kids some fresh air and all that."
Padme got Aiden and Grogu strapped in and said, "ready kids?"
Aiden and Grogu cooed.
"We're ready", Rey said as she was with Luke and Leia.
"Besides you kids deserve a day of rest after all that Jedi Training", Hunter said with a smile on his face.
The two adults led the kids outside.

"Hordak", Sam moaned as Hordak kissed his neck.
Hordak said, "yes, you like that, my little imp? You like it when I kiss your neck so tenderly?"
Yes…. Force I love it….", Sam said before Hordak kissed him on the lips.
