Alec needed alone time, so after getting out of the car he made his way into the gun range that was below the manor. His parents tried talking with him but he ignored them; they didn't deserve his aggression. After shooting multiple guns for a few hours, Alec was now ready to join his family. Though he had homework to complete and wanted it done before he went to sleep.

The family had a quiet dinner with Alec being buried in his thoughts. He did not want his first day of school to go like it did. If anything he wanted to have a smooth transition into being a junior and finally be able to have a relationship with an alpha that would love him through and through. But after today, he just didn't trust alphas anymore, besides his fathers. Why did Magnus have to do that? Ugh, it was so frustrating.

"May I be excused please? I'm not really hungry."

"Of course sweetie, get your homework done." Alec nodded, taking his plate and placing it in the microwave for later. His parents wanted to wrap him in a blanket and never let go of him. They watched as their son walked up the stairs with a sad expression on his face. Tessa rose from the table to collect her katanas and walked towards the front door. The hell she would let this shit continue to go on. That fucking little girl has some got damn nerve! Her son risked his life for her and she says disgusting things like that to him and his friends. Oh hell no. She grabbed her guns as well, she was going to end them all tonight. No one upset her child like this. No one!

"Hey honey, you know you can't solve everything with violence. Though it would make me so happy seeing her head on the end of my blade, our son comes first. So let's go and comfort our baby okay? Violence later." Jem gently took her weapons, placing them back on their shelf then closed the vault. Together the trio made their way to Alec's room. There they heard muffled sobs and quickly entered the room, taking Alec into their arms as he cried. Alec never cried, ever. Not even when he was little and would hurt himself training. He wouldn't shed a tear. Seeing him so distraught angered them more. That child will be dead before the year is over.

"What did I do to deserve such treatment? I mean I saved their fucking lives not even 48 hours ago and I get treated like this? Why are alphas such assholes?!" Alec exclaimed, crying harder. "I really wanted this year to be different you know? But I guess I'm going to be single because the alpha I want lets prejudice pricks into his pack! I honestly want to punch him in the mouth, then again I don't want to see his pretty lips split, ugh got damn i-OW!" Alec rubbed the side of his head glaring at his mother. She glared right back, not caring if he was upset or not. He would watch his language.

"Enough of that language young man, I will not tolerate anymore." Tessa says sternly.

Alec pouted, "Mom! You knocked my brain around! I'm already experiencing headaches! You didn't. have to add to the pain!" His mother quickly apologized.

"What do you mean you are having headaches?"

"Um, since I arrived at school this morning, the headaches increased ten fold. It's been hard to concentrate on anything else, plus my body is all achy. What's going on with me?" Alec whined, throwing himself into his mother's arms, feeling like it was the only safe spot he had left. She rubbed his back in soothing circles, it helped with some of the pain.

"Your body is changing Allie. Dad said you stumbled over when Magnus Bane was close to you. It could only mean one thing, that he's your true mate. Did you almost shift when you smelled his scent?" Alec nodded yes, though stopped when the pain in his brain crashed against his skull. "That explains it, you are going to experience headaches until the two of you accept one another." Alec started cursing in French earning more hits upside the head from his mother.

"You keep this up and I will bench your ass from missions!" His mother warned, earning a hit upside the head from her son.

"Watch your language young lady or I will wash your mouth out with soap!" Alec mocked his mother like the sassy dork he was causing the three of them to laugh. They adored their son and loved how open and honest he was with them. "What am I going to do about the headaches? Though I don't think I can go on like this for a whole year, we have important missions coming up."

"Well either give Magnus a chance to prove that he is the right alpha for you or try to endure it because I know after today you will ignore him and his pack. But you should know he kicked those two girls out of his pack when you walked away." Jem informed his son, wanting to ease the pain some. Hopefully the two of them would make up and accept each other.

"Dad it's going to take a lot more than that. He was so out of line today he didn't even ask us what happened, he just went along with his pack's lies. I can't tolerate that, if he isn't willing to hear the truth then why should I even bother?" Alec was being stubborn and the trio knew it. Sighing not wanting to get into it anymore, Alec told his parents he was going to Lydia's for an hour. They agreed and let him go only to return before curfew.

After speaking with his parents, Magnus drove to Alec's house to ask for forgiveness. He was a nervous wreck ringing the doorbell. Magnus just hoped Alec's parents would forgive him, he didn't mean to upset their son or his friends. His pack members were so out of line, he sent them all home to stay with their own families for a week or two. Magnus needed a break from their obsessive need to try and make everything better when in reality it wasn't, at least for a while. Magnus was broken out of his thoughts as a beautiful woman with grey eyes and brown hair opened the door.

"Oh hello dear, you must be Magnus Bane. How are you this evening?" She asked sweetly looking at him as though she was trying to read his intentions. It freaked him out a little. She looked as though she wanted to rip him apart for hurting her boy.

Magnus smiled and nodded, "Yes, I'm sorry for coming to your home at this late hour, I was wondering if I could speak with Alexander. I wanted to apologize about the situation that shouldn't have happened at school today, is he around by any chance?"

Tessa studied the boy, he was handsome even though he was nervous. She appreciated him making the first move to apologize to her son. She let him stew for a few more minutes before she answered his question. "I'm sorry to say this but Alec isn't home at the moment. He is with his friends, though I would let him know you stopped by." She watched his face drop in disappointment, though showing nothing but respect.

"That's okay, hopefully I could see him at school tomorrow. Though would you mind giving him these for me? I would really appreciate it." Magnus handed her the bouquet of flowers. "Also I want to apologize to you and your husbands, it was never my intention to hurt Alec or Lydia and Simon. I just want them all happy, and I plan on making them stay that way. Thank you for allowing me to apologize and not slam the door in my face, I promise I won't hurt your son again Mrs. Gray. Have a good night. "

"Oh I like you, you better not hurt him again." Magnus promised and walked back towards his car. Will and Jem watched him leave with a smile on their face. Magnus Bane was the right alpha for their son.

Later that night when Alec returned home, he saw the pink, yellow and purple roses on his desk with a card attached to it. He smiled because that was the most romantic thing that has ever happened to him. Alec grabbed the card to read it.

Dear Alexander,

I am so sorry for my behavior earlier today. It was not my intention to hurt you or your friends. If anything I wanted to court you until you were ready to become my mate. I know I have a lot of apologizing to do, but if you would give me the chance to show you how a real alpha is supposed to treat his omega that would make me the happiest man alive. I would never hurt you or allow anyone to disrespect you again. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me, I will be forever grateful. Even if you turn me down everyday, I will not stop until I see that beautiful smile on your face. You deserve to be happy, and I want to be the reason you smile for the rest of your life. Alec's eyes watered reading the card, it was so fucking sweet. How was he supposed to stay mad at Magnus when he does romantic shit like this? Alec kissed the card placing it on his wall with his many photos of him and his family. He then smelled the roses not knowing his parents were watching him with fond expressions. They watched as he took many pictures of the flowers then posted them in his social media accounts, they decided to leave when Lydia and Simon called him to gush about the flowers they received as well. Alec didn't realize some of his pain was starting to recede, thanks to this one small romantic gesture.
