Chapter 58: Epilogue

Several years later, we see a now 18 year old Aiden.

He had certainly grown up, looking like an exact copy of his fathers.

Aiden looked mostly like Sam, but his skin had patches of white like his father Hordak. His blue and red eyes were still a distinguishing feature that stood out.

His hair had streaks of blue.

He wore dark blue robes, and had his lightsaber clipped to his belt.

Just a few days ago, he had been given the rank of Jedi Knight.

He was currently sitting under a tree, eyes closed as he relaxed. That was until he heard a certain giggling from nearby.

Aiden asked playfully, "who's there?"

The giggling grew as suddenly, two claws covered his eyes. He smiled and said, "hey honey."

Flora giggled as she gave her boyfriend one of her famous hugs.

She looked exactly like Scorpia, what with the claws and tail. But was a little skinner, and her hair and clothes were much fluffier, showing what she got from Perfuma.

Aiden then kissed Flora on the lips. She kissed back with her tail wagging around.

The two then broke the kiss.

"I thought we weren't going to have our date today…. Since your dads left you to babysit Junior and Angela", Flora said with a giggle.

Aiden said, "oh, Finn offered to watch them so we could have our date."

Flora asked, "how are your little brother and sister by the way?"

Aiden said, "great. The two are so energetic and happy all the time."

"I need your help in finding the dress I want to wear at your sister's wedding", Flora said.

Aiden said, "sure. Anything to see you look more beautiful than you already are."

Flora blushed as she giggled.

Aiden hugged his girlfriend.

Flora asked as she sat down next to her boyfriend, "can you tell me the story of how your sister got your dads to accept that she was going to get married?"

"It took her nearly 2 days…. After dad and Papa found her and Ani in her room….", Aiden said with a laugh as he flashbacked to the moment.

….

Flashback.

Rey and Ani, a few months ago, were currently snuggled up next to each other in her bed. Her smiling face was on his chest, cuddling him like a big teddy bear.

Both had grown up quite a bit.

Ani was shirtless and Rey only had her shorts and bra on.

No they didn't have…. Sex…. As Rey had promised to her father's that she would wait until marriage.

The two had an intense makeout and Rey had a few love bites on her neck.

But the two had kept their promise to their parents that they wouldn't get too intimate until marriage.

Speaking of which, any day now, Rey was planning on telling Sam and Hordak that Ani had proposed to her.

"I wonder how your dads are going to react to…. This", Ani said as he rubbed Rey's back.

Rey said, "I'm sure they'll approve."

Ani replied, "honey…. When they found us kissing for the first time, your dad's chased me down like a Lothcat on Kashyyyk."

Rey giggled.

"They have to accept that I am not a little girl anymore…. And they have to respect my decisions", Rey said with a frown.

"Yeah, we're both Jedi Knights now and adults…. Sort of", Ani said with a chuckle.

Rey said, "hey, we're both over eighteen, we love each other, and your parents approve of us. So let's just hope my parents will think the same."

"I say we get up and change before….", Ani said, but then the door to Rey's room opened.

"Rey sweetie…. It's time for….", Sam said before he gasped.

Hordak asked, "Sam? Honey? What's wrong?"

Hordak peeked inside, and instantly fainted backwards.

Rey groaned, "doesn't anyone knock anymore?!"

Sam growled, "Rey Skywalker…."

Rey said, "before you say anything, note that we didn't do ANYTHING lewd!"

Sam growled, "then why are you two almost naked!?"

Hordak then woke up.

"Mr Skywalker…. Please we can explain…." Ani said a bit nervous.

Then Sam and Hordak noticed the love bites on Rey's neck.

Hordak instantly fainted again as Sam growled, "where did those love bites come from!?"

Rey grabbed the blanket to cover her neck.

Sam growled as he pointed to Ani, "it was you, wasn't it!?"

Ani said, "we were just kissing! It got a little heated, but we didn't do the dirty deed! We promised we wouldn't until we got married!"

Hordak then woke up again.

Hordak asked, "Rey! What's the meaning of this!?"

Rey said, "we didn't have sex! We were just cuddling while talking about the proposal….! Oops."

Sam and Hordak growled at the same time, "what proposal!?"

Ani rubbed the back of his head as he said, "I uh, I proposed about a week ago…."

Again, Hordak instantly fainted.

Rey said, "how many times will Papa faint over everything!?"

"You two get changed! And explain everything to us now", Sam growled.

Rey and Ani gave really quick nods as Sam slammed the door.

The two quickly got out of bed and changed into their clothes.

Rey and Ani held hands as they walked out of the room.

Sam and Hordak were sitting on the couch with unamused looks.

"Dad…. Papa….", Rey said, a bit nervous.

"Explain to us; now", Sam said in a stern tone.

Rey and Ani sat across from the older men, who had started growing grey hairs. Sam was even starting to grow a beard.

Rey said, "Ani proposed to me about a week ago."

Sam shouted, "a week ago!?"

Hordak said with a shocked look on his face, "and you didn't tell us!?"

Rey said, "well, I wanted to find the right moment. And you two aren't exactly the most understanding when it comes to one of us having a relationship."

"We were planning to tell you today…. Before this happened", Ani said with a nervous chuckle.

Sam and Hordak just kept glaring at the two of them.

Rey and Ani asked nervously, "so?"

Sam and Hordak asked, "so what?"

Rey asked with a nervous smile on her face, "are you okay with Ani…. And I getting engaged?"

Sam and Hordak shared a look before the latter said, "give us a few days to mull it over."

Rey and Ani sighed.

"Just don't let us catch you in bed like that again", Hordak said in a stern tone.

Rey and Ani both said, "YESSIR!"

….

2 days later.

Rey asked her dads, "so Dad…. Papa, have you had enough time to think about it?"

"Dad…. Papa…. With all due respect…. Rey is no longer a child…. And you must respect her choices", Aiden said as he stands beside his sister.

Rey smiled as she hugged her little brother.

Sam said, "ugh, yes, we've had enough time…. And…. Ngh, you have our blessing."

Rey squealed in delight as she ran to hug her dads.

"Thank you! Thank you", Rey cried out as tears fell down her face.

Hordak said, "but if he ever hurts you, we're feeding him to Chewbacca."

"Papa", Rey said as she slapped his arm.

Hordak said, "I'm kidding."

"You better be kidding…. Cause I would never forgive you two if you do something to Ani", Rey said as she glared at her fathers.

Sam and Hordak gave embarrassed chuckles.

End of Flashback.

….

Aiden and Flora chuckled after he finished telling the story.

….

Wedding day.

Rey and Ani were going to have their wedding at Castle Bright Moon!

Aiden was wearing a tuxedo and Flora was wearing a blue dress that had a few flowers on it.

Sokka asked, "where are your dads, Aiden?"

Ash said, "yeah. I haven't seen them all day."

Aiden replied, "they're gonna walk Rey down the aisle."

Ash asked, "will Uncle Leon be here at the wedding?"

"Yeah, he said that he would first go to visit…. Uncle Bane's…. Grave", Sokka said in a sad tone.

Aiden said, "he meant a lot to all of us. Especially Uncle Leon and Ani."

"I still can't believe he's…. Gone", Ash said in a sad tone.

"Well…. He was pretty old", Flora said.

Sokka said, "and now Ani goes everywhere with that old hat of his."

Cad Bane had died 4 years ago…. Surrounded by his friends. His family.

Before dying he had given Ani his hat, and Leon, his old jacket.

It took Leon a long time for him to accept that Bane was gone and that he had to let his mentor go.

But his family had managed to be there for him for every single step of the way.

"I did see Ani cry a bit today as he really wanted Bane to be here at the wedding", Aiden said with a sad tone in his voice.

Ash said, "I know he'd be here if he were still alive. And I'm sure he's watching over us…."

"Look at the time", Flora said as she pointed to a clock.

"We all need to be ready", Aiden said.

….

Rey was in a room with her fathers and Ahsoka helping her get ready.

She was in a dress similar to the one Padme wore on Naboo after they had beaten the Trade Federation.

Rey asked, "what do you think?"

Sam was sobbing tears of joy as Hordak patted his back.

"Oh Dad", Rey said with a sigh as she went over to hug her father.

"I can't help it! You look like an angel in that wedding dress", Sam sobbed as he hugged his daughter.

Rey said, "I'm just happy that you and PaPa are here to walk me down the aisle."

Hordak said with a smile on his face, "how can we not be there for our daughter?"

"And here are the flowers, Rey", Ahsoka said as she handed them to Rey.

Rey smiled as she said, "I think I'm ready."

….

Leon asked Ani, "are you okay Son?"

Ani looked at himself in the mirror and said, "I think so dad…. I just wish Uncle Bane was here…."

Leon gave a sad look before hugging his son.

"I know…. Believe me…. Your uncle Bane wanted to be here at your wedding more than anything", Leon said with a sigh.

Ani hugged his father back and said, "I'm just glad you're here dad. You and mom."

"Anything for my son", Leon said with a smile on his face.

"I think it's time now…..", Ani said as he stared into the mirror.

….

Timeskip.

Ani was waiting at the Altar.

As the GrandMaster, Leon would be performing the ceremony.

"Here comes the bride", Glimmer said.

Ani saw the doors open….

…. And he felt his heart stop for a few moments when he saw Rey walking down the aisle.

Sam and Hordak were walking their daughter down the aisle.

Ani couldn't stop the big smile forming on his face as he thought, 'I am going to marry this angel.'

Rey then made it to the altar and Ani grabbed her hands.

"You look so beautiful", Ani said with a smile on his face.

Rey blushed and said, "Thanks."

Leon said, "dearly beloved, from all across the galaxy, we gather here today, in the name of the force, to join this man and this woman, in the bonds of holy matrimony."

Everyone then sat down.

"You may go first Ani", Leon said with a smile.

Ani then held Rey's hands in his own.

Ani said, "Rey, when I first met you…. You were the cutest girl I'd ever seen. And as we spent more and more time together, you only grew more and more beautiful. Not only that, but braver, smarter, stronger, perfect in pretty much every way. And I felt like the luckiest man in the galaxy when you chose me. And I know, when I'm old and grey, I'll look back on this moment and think, 'Ani, you made the best choice of your life.' I love you Rey, now and forever."

Rey smiled with tears in her eyes.

"Now it's your turn, Rey", Leon said with a smile on his face.

Rey said, "Ani…. Many years ago, I thought I had lost everything. I lost my friends. Family. People I loved. But then Sam and Hordak found me. They took me in. And I gained it all back. Friends. Family. People I loved. And I never thought I'd find true love, until now. From the moment I saw you, I knew I was in love. And I will never forget the day you proposed to me. This decision will always be one of the best I ever made, because it means I'll get to spend the rest of my days with the man I love. Ani, I love you."

Aiden walked forward with the two rings.

Leon asked, "do you, Anakin Tano, take Rey Skywalker as your wife?"

"I do", Ani said with a smile on his face.

Leom asked, "and do you, Rey Skywalker, take Anakin Tano as your husband?"

"I do", Rey said with a smile on her face.

Leon said, "then by the power invested in me, as Grand Master of the Jedi order, I now pronounce you; man and wife. Congratulations, you may kiss the-"

Rey dipped Ani down and kissed him.

"... the groom", Leon said.

Everyone then started to cheer and clap their hands.

Sam was sobbing as Hordak held him.

Ahsoka was blowing her nose with a hanky.

As Rey and Ani started walking down the aisle, Rey tossed the bouquet behind her. Before anyone had a chance to grab it, Flora launched herself into the air and grabbed it in her mouth!

"That's our daughter", Perfuma shouted with tears in her eyes.

Scorpia nodded as she sobbed while hugging Catra and Adora, who were both crying.

Flora landed right next to Aiden, wrapped him up with her tail and started kissing his cheek over and over again.

Aiden blushed.

"Could life get any better", Ashla sobbed while Prime held her.

Prime said, "it's already perfect with you in it."

Ashla smiled at her husband for the compliment.

Sam and Hordak went over to hug their daughter.

She welcomed them with open arms!

"We're so happy for you little imp", Hordak said with tears in his eyes.

"We wish you all the happiness in the galaxy", Sam said in between sobs.

Rey smiled with tears in her eyes.

….

Timeskip.

Junior giggled as he was on top of his uncle Anakin's shoulders.

He said, "easy kid, I'm not as young as I used to be."

"Sorry Uncle", Junior said.

Junior had grown very close to Anakin.

He never looked at him as the man who was once Darth Vader. He looked at him as his loving Uncle Anakin.

After a few years…. Anakin was finally welcomed back into the Jedi Order and was given the rank of Jedi Master.

He had finally paid for many of his mistakes, and gotten what he had always wanted.

"Daddy! Papa", Junior squealed.

Anakin then let Junior down as he ran to his fathers.

Sam and Hordak hugged the boy from both sides.

Sam asked, "how was your day with Uncle Anakin?"

Junior said, "great daddy. We played all day!"

"That's good to know Junior", Hordak said with a smile on his face.

Junior asked, "when is Rey going to come back?"

Sam replied, "very soon. She and Ani are on their honeymoon right now."

Junior smiled as he hugged his father.

"I have a feeling things are going to get better", Anakin said with a smile on his face.

Hordak said, "as if they weren't perfect already…."

It was true as there have been no attempts for the Empire to return or The Sith.

The prophecy had been fulfilled.

She-Ra, the Dyad, and even the chosen one, had brought balance to the force.

The Skywalker Family stared out into the sunset.

After so many years of pain, strife and fighting…. Things were better than ever.

….

Many years later.

We see a cloaked figure walk up to the mural inside the Jedi Temple.

On the wall is a Mural of the Skywalker Family and She-Ra.

The cloaked figure removes his cloak and it is none other than….

Leon. In fact, it was Leon at the age he had been in the visions he and Hordak had received many years ago.

He was now 900 years old.

Leon sighed as he thought about all the events that have happened in the last few decades.

Horde Prime had become the leader of the Republic's military, helping keep the peace against threats to the galaxy.

He was still alive and Leon was glad to still have an old friend with him from the old times.

But, he was fortunate enough to be able to teach the younger generation, including the descendants of his old friends and family.

"Galen reminds me of you Sam", Leon said with a smile on his face.

He placed his hand on the mural and sighed before making his way to the council chambers.

There had been peace in the Galaxy throughout the last few decades.

Both Palpatine and the Empire were remembered in Galactic and Jedi history for…. Being psychotic maniacs that wanted to destroy the peace and balance of the galaxy.

Anakin's turn to the dark side was told as a story called; the Tragedy of Anakin Skywalker.

This story was told to every Jedi in the galaxy as a way to show the others the grave consequences of turning to the dark side….

The story told the most was of the mighty She-Ra and the Dyad of the force.

Leon gave a chuckle as he remembers how the story goes….

"When the galaxy was at its lowest point, and the evil Galactic Empire had a firm grip on everything, the mighty She-Ra banded together with the Dyad of the force in order to finally free the galaxy from the Sith and it's forces forever!"

"Adora…. Sam…. Hordak….", Leon said with a sad look on his face.

He finally made it to the council chambers and sat in his seat, waiting for the other members of the council to arrive as he was left alone with his thoughts.

"Master Leon!"

Leon looked up to see both his Padawan Galen and his brother Marek walk into the council chambers.

He said, "ah, hello boys. To what do I owe this visit?"

"I'm having a bit of trouble training my Padawan", Marek explained.

"Marek says she is a bit too snippy for him", Galen teased.

Leon chuckled and said, "well I expected as much. Ahsaka is just like her great grandmother. Even down to being trained by a Skywalker."

"I know GrandMaster…. It's just hard for me to get her to understand to take things at a slower pace", Marek said with a sigh.

Leon chuckled and said, "the best way to get her to listen, is to listen yourself. Have her speak her mind, and understand what she's going through, why she's going through it, and how to help her go through it."

"Okay, and thanks GrandMaster Leon", Marek said with a smile on his face.

"Also, Great uncle Horde Prime is waiting for you at the ancient tree in the courtyard", Galen said.

Leon then stood up.

"We'll take you to him", Marek said with a smile on his face.

As they were walking…. Leon saw two familiar lightsabers on each of the boys' belts.

Leon asked with a soft smile on his face, "how does it feel to have the lightsabers of your great great grandfather Antauri?"

Marek said, "it feels like I'm carrying a part of history."

Galen added, "I'm in agreement with my brother. It's quite the experience."

Leon smiled at their words.

It was great to see the Skywalker lineage growing so strong.

The 3 then made it to the courtyard.

Standing under the ancient tree was Prime, looking the same as before, but with wrinkles to show that he had started to show his age.

"Hello Prime", Leon said as he shook Prime's hand.

Prime said, "hello Leon, great to see you."

Leon asked, "how are things going with the New Republic?"

Prime replied, "very good. My forces are able to keep people safe. And I make sure no one is mistreated, like with the Empire and the old Horde. How are things going with the Jedi Order?"

Leon said, "very good. The Jedi order is always on alert, and is taught the improved Jedi code. Many stories are used as reminders of not repeating the mistakes of the past."

"Speaking of which, tomorrow is when the Skywalker family heads to Etheria…. Cause it's the anniversary of when….", Prime said with a sad smile on his face.

"Sam, Luke and Leia crash landed on Etheria…. And became friends with Adora and the people of Etheria", Leon said with a sad smile.

Prime said, "little did we know how important that little crash landing would have been to the entire galaxy."

Leon gave a smile.

"Uncle Prime, look", Marek said as he pointed to something in the distance.

Both Prime and Leon turned to see the….

The force ghosts of their friends and family, smiling happily at them.

Leon and Prime smiled at them.

Galen and Marek were shocked, to say the least.

Marek asked, "are they...?"

Leon said, "yes…. Our family…."

"May the force be with you….", they all said before vanishing like vapor in the wind.

Galen and Marek were a bit shocked and confused.

"Your family came here to visit…. I have a feeling we might see them again on Etheria", Leon said with a smile on his face.

The brothers smiled at Leon's good mood.

"I couldn't agree more", Prime said with a smile on his face.

The group then stared out into the sunset.

Things had finally gone right for this galaxy far, far, away….

And thus, we finally end one of my favorite stories to date.

I remember that I wasn't too keen on doing the story at first. But after me and SuperSentai199 began writing it, I got more and more invested in the story. Now it's one of my favorite stories I've written.
