Alec groaned rolling over to stop his phone from making noise. He answered with slight irritation because his alpha was calling him at 6 in the morning. He still had another hour to sleep and he really needed his sleep.
"Baby, why?" He whined into the phone, trying to stay awake. Magnus chuckled, not caring about his cute whining.
"Because darling, I miss you! I want to see your face, so FaceTime me now please."
Alec couldn't deny his alpha anything, so he pressed the icon and laid his phone on top of his many pillows so Magnus could see him. Though Alec looked a freaking mess, his hair was sticking up in odd angles, it was getting too long and needed to be cut. Alec smiled at the camera with his eyes still closed.
Magnus chuckled, "Awww baby you look so adorable. I can't wait to wake up with you in my arms. We are still on for this weekend right?"
"Mhmm, yes mom promised no missions. We will have a safe house to ourselves. Though I highly doubt that. My parents are nosy and will be watching us, I'm sure." Alec rolled his eyes at the thought. Even though it was precaution, he still at least wanted some alone time with his boyfriend. It's bad enough they had to share the house with four other people. "No can do darling, I love teasing you. So what are you wearing today?" Magnus sat his phone onto his vanity then started to do his makeup. Going for a natural look. Only adding waterproof mascara and eyeliner, some gloss for his lips and he was done. Now his hair was a different story; he plugged in his flat iron then turned back to see Alec remove his t-shirt. After finding out Alec was an assassin and talking with his parents and Alec's parents about his dilemma. They told him to give them an ultimatum. Either follow Magnus's leadership or find another pack to join. There will be disagreements of course, but when the leader tells them to do something, they should get in line to do it. Simple as that. So Magnus spoke with them and everyone agreed to follow his command. Camille even went out of her way to apologize to Alec, Simon, and Lydia in front of the entire student body at the school's pep rally. It was embarrassing, but she wanted there to be no bad blood between them. Being mated to Raphael really changed her for the better. (Right! Shocking, I know. Who ever thought those two would mate?)
Lorenzo however, was sporting a broken nose for a few days after hurting Andrew by flirting with some female. Alec did not like seeing his friend cry and quickly fixed that situation. Alec didn't speak to his parents for a week for that. He would leave the house before they woke up and didn't answer their phone calls. He locked himself in his room not bothering to eat dinner. "Sorry love, mom wanted to know if I was up for school. You should go and get ready for school love. We will discuss your heat later. Wait, no. Actually, do you want to spend your heat with me? We don't have to complete the bond yet if you're not ready. Plus I don't want your parents to kill me." No one wanted overprotective parents coming after them, let alone the same parents being assassins.

"Mom, dad, pops, I need to talk to you about something." The trio looked frightened, but sat next to their son on the couch. With Alec being of age, they already knew what he wanted to talk to them about. It was inevitable, that's how the mating cycle goes. So taking a deep breath, they decided to sit patiently and wait to listen to their pup. He looked so nervous.

You could imagine your grandparents going nuts finding my mating marks. I was grounded for a month, I couldn't see my Alphas outside of school. It was a nightmare, I still remember my mom chasing me around with a shoe because I didn't tell her I was ready to lose my virginity. Though later down the line I understood that she was worried I gave something precious away to the wrong person, something that I could never get back. But as it turned out, I gave my heart and soul to your fathers' and never regretted it. My mom realized that Will and Jem wouldn't hurt me and being the Alpha of our family, she gave us her blessing. Now she never shuts up about them. She calls them all the time! Quite annoying if I say so myself."
Alec laughed at the thought of his kickass mother being chased around with a shoe. That had to hurt. "What kind of shoe was it?"

"There's no time limit on completing the bond. I just want you to be sure that Magnus will be the only man for you. After completing the bond, there's no going back. It's for life. Though how the two of you are around each other, I doubt anything or anyone could come between you too. If you do decide to complete your mating, use protection. I am not becoming a grandfather this young!" For some reason William Herondale is terrified of becoming a grandfather at the age of 36. It just was not happening.
"Pops, I just turned 17. Why in the world would I get pregnant when I'm not even done with high school yet? Not to mention, I'm an assassin. I have 200 more missions before I retire to start a family. I just hope Magnus doesn't regret me being his mate when he could have anyone." Alec says sadly. It was true, Magnus was one of the richest alphas in the school and the most handsome. Plenty of males and females threw themselves at him everyday to try and take Alec's place. Alec knew he wasn't good enough for Magnus, he had the baggage to prove it.
Jem, picking up on his son's inner demons, and smiled, "Alec, you are right; Magnus could have anybody he wants, but he chose you out of hundreds. I'm sure if you asked him, he would tell you that the other people didn't matter, you are all he wants and needs." Alec nodded still not believing that, but chose to let it go.
"I want to complete the bond with Magnus, can we have the safe house next weekend? My heat is approaching soon. So are Lydia's and Simon's, we all want to take the next step with our Alphas. Can we have privacy please? Or would you like us to be here?"
Will let out a wounded animal sound, "I don't think I will be able to focus if my son and his boyfriend are going at it. Oh God, I need a drink! You are far too young! Stop growing damn it!" Will dramatically laid on his son, not wanting to let him grow up anymore. Alec laughed and tickled his father until he agreed to let them have the safe house.
"Before I let you all spend the night together. Each and every one of you will be getting a physical test. I want you all to be safe no matter what." Alec nodded, understanding his mother's worries. Though the trio gets physicals daily. Assassin's training duh!
"Magnus I want to complete the bond. They gave us their blessing. But mom wants us all to get a physical test first. Will you be alright with that? And are you sure you want to complete the bond? Alec bit his bottom lip, it was a nervous habit of his. He couldn't help it.
Magnus smiled and nodded, "Stop biting your lip, that's my job. But yes darling, nothing would make me happier completing the bond. I want everyone to know you are mine and I am yours. When do we have to take the physical test?" Alec was happy, he blew Magnus a few kisses before answering a few more questions and then getting ready for school.
Walking into the bathroom, Alec brushed his teeth and did his business before entering the shower. Alec decided to change his body wash, because for some reason when his heat was near, his skin gets really sensitive to heavy soaps. So he pulled out his rejuvenating Dove body wash. His parents had an early meeting this morning, so Alec grabbed breakfast from McDonald's. Lydia and Simon were waiting for him in the parking lot like always. Everyone watched as Alec approached his locker without saying a word to anyone, not even Magnus. Lydia and Simon didn't allow anyone to touch him. Magnus tried to explain, but Alec wasn't really there at the moment. Honestly all he wanted to do was go home and forget this day happened. "I'm sorry Alec, it was a dare. Please don't be angry with Magnus, it wasn't his fault. It was mine." Marcel said, pleading for forgiveness. Alec was his friend and didn't want any beef between them. Friends don't kiss other people's Alphas!
Magnus, Jace and John were freaking out, because Alec was quiet, not saying a word. That was dangerous, Alec's parents already gave them the warnings of feral omegas and Alec's behavior was one of them. In Alec's mind he wanted to slit Marcel's throat and watch him choke on his own blood; but they didn't kill innocents. Alec looked back and forth between Magnus and Marcel before walking off without a word. His fingers were twitchy, Alec squeezed his notebooks hard before letting the angry tears roll down his face.
"Dude, you just unleashed a world of pain." Simon said to Marcel who looked absolutely terrified. He walked away with the friends that dared him to do something so disrespectful, that could possibly break up a happy couple. Simon then looked to Magnus and sighed, "Alec has been struggling with self hatred all his life and seeing Marcel kiss the love of his life in front of our peers has brought forth his worst nightmare. He literally was sick seeing it, he spent five minutes in the bathroom. His mind is dark at the moment, I can tell when he looked between the two of you, he was picturing how you would look with your faces being peeled off. Fix it now." Simon left the pack standing there with sick expressions as he headed to class.
"What kind of twisted shit was that? Alec is the nicest person, he wouldn't harm a fly." Izzy whispered, sounding really freaked out. Not replying to her, Magnus took off down the hall cursing Marcel to the darkest dimension of hell. Magnus entered his classroom, eyes searching for his mates. Alec was sitting in his seat with red puffy eyes, their teacher was nowhere to be seen, so Magnus quickly grabbed Alec's arm, dragging him from his desk and out into the hallway.
"Magnus please let go of me. We have class and I don't want to talk, just leave me alone please."
