Lily was awoken by the bright light coming through the arched window, she rolled over in a sleepy haze trying to figure out where she was. As she rolled a figure came into her view causing Lily's eyes to widen and last nights events came flooding back to her. Scorpius, the dance, the sex and his goodnight words. Those words flare Lily's heart flutter, but what did he mean by 'his lily'?

Scorpius was already awake when lily awoke from her slumber "morning lils" he said sensing her slight confusion of her whereabouts.

"Morning, did we? Is this happening right now?"

"Yes we did and yes it is happening right now. We're in the prefects dorms. It's quieter up here and the rooms are private thankfully"

"Thanks for clarifying that, it's all starting to come back now. What time is it?"

"9am, still in time for breakfast if you want to go"

"Together?"

"Do you want to?"

"That sounds good" it was Lily's turn to be brave, Scorpius had laid his cards out last night and was this what lily had predicted? No. But was she keen to explore it and see where it went? Yes. "Which table do we sit at? I mean, you're a Slytherin and I'm a Ravenclaw. Which do we go to?"

"Ravenclaw if you want. I don't really want jeering from my friends this morning"

This sent a pang in Lily's gut, we're her friends going to be any better than his in gossiping?

Their next battle was their clothes. Lily's we're still in her dorm as we're Scorpius'.

"What are we doing about clothes? I'm not going to breakfast in a ball gown." Lily questioned. It was a long way to the Ravenclaw tower, the prefects dorms were much closer to the dungeons.

"Come borrow a top and shorts from my trunk. It's much closer and less chance being caught out" he offered

Lily raised her eyebrows

"Oh come on lils, lll make sure the shorts are plain and the top is subtle. It'll be fine! Your brother is probably already at breakfast or still in the Hufflepuff dorm with hannah"

"Fine. But just answer me this before we go and people see us. What are we? Why is this?"

"What do you want it to be? I thought I'd shown you what I wanted last night." Scorpius said hesitantly

"Shall we count last night as date one and see what happens? We barely know each other"

"Okay, but exclusive? I've seen the way all the boys look at you"

"And I thought I was going to be insecure. Of course exclusive, I don't sleep with just anyone she teased.

They got dressed into their clothes from last night and attempted to sneak to the Slytherin dorms. Thankfully they only met first years who don't really know who didn't recognise them.

Scorpius silently opened his dorm door and delved into his trunk for lily. Shorts and top - it'll do he thought. He handed them to lily and pretend he wasn't checking her out as the both changed. The walk to breakfast was uneventful and the great hall was strangely quiet leaving the couple undisturbed. After breakfast they parted to their respective dorms with a kiss goodbye making a deal to owl that night.

Lily entered her dorm to a shout of "lily!" From all 4 girls. All four started with the questions making lily a little overwhelmed. The first question that she could understand was "where did you go?" From Ella.

Lily looked at Lyra knowingly, Lyra who lily had left and could probably guess where they went. Only sixth and seventh years cold access the private rooms and lily had left with a sixth year.

"I left with the guy I danced with. We stayed out…" lily tailed off trying to give away as little as possible. She didn't want to give too much away at this stage, what if it all ended tomorrow? But her friends weren't letting her off that easy.

Lyra certainly wasnt, she wanted all the details. "Lils you're my bestie and I protect you. I need his name, house, year, details!"

Lily rolled her eyes knowing she wasn't leaving the dorm until she spilled all the details of last night. "Fine, he's 6th year, Slytherin, Scorpius"

"Malfoy?" Jess spurted. "Really?"

"Yes Malfoy, and we've agreed we're just dating and seeing if it works"

"But out of all people? Why him?" Pressed Jess.

"It sort of just happened, he's very smooth and sensitive at talking when he wants to be. He's just very laddish to the world"

"Sure…" Lyra wasn't convinced but she was more interested in the details of the night "what did you get up to then? I want full details"

"Seriously guys?" Lily was admitting defeat. She couldn't hide it from her best friends "Fine. We danced, we made out, we had sex, we stayed the night in the prefect dorms as they're private." She said dropping down onto her bed knowing there were a million more questions to come.

"Back up lily, you actually went all the way on the first date?" This even surprised Lyra. They all played a game last year and bet that Jess would be the first of them to have sex.

"Yes… well it was in the heat of the moment and I'm not going to lie he has some serious muscle on him. It's so hot" lily swooned. "Now can we change the topic away from my sex life please?"

In unison they all said "no"

The questions continued for what felt like hours. Lily only managed to stop them when the bell went for dinner. "To be continued" whispered Lyra as she walked out of the dorm door. Lily wandered down to dinner wondering if Scorpius had undergone the same 100 questions that she had. She didn't know if lads weren't the same as girls in that department or if it was private. It's something she'd remind herself to ask Scorpius in her owl that night.

Many hours passed and the questions kept coming - some gossip, some educational, some lily answered with a facial expression. Soon it was time to write her owl to Scorpius. She had so many questions to ask him. So she penned

"Hey Scor,

How was your day? Did anyone ask anything? They quizzed me here. It was like 100 questions! Lyra wanted all the details and Jess just wanted gossip which is typical her tbf. I totally forgot my dress is under your bed. Do you need me to come get it? Anyway, hope you've had a good day.

Lily x"

Lily hadn't noticed she was being watched while writing, or the facial expressions that she made while writing it.

"Penning a letter to your pretty boy?" Lyra asked.

"Maybe, I just want to know if he underwent the same interrogation I did. Do lads have that?"

"Some do but I doubt your brother wants to know his best mate is shagging his sister"

"Oh… yeah how do you think Albus will take it?"

"God knows. Rather you than me gal!"

Lily pondered a moment on that. How was she going to break it to Albus and how would her family react. Lily's worries we're interrupted by a tapping at the window clutching a letter.

"My lily,

My day was good. After breakfast we went and did no broom quidditch training. Lot of work for those muscles you seem to be so fond of.

Answer to your question, no. It's an unwritten rule that lads don't need to know about each other's sex lives other than if we have one.

What did you tell them about me? ;) how much detail did they want.

She couldn't decide whether to reply now or in the morning. She wanted to not look desperate but it would burn in her mind until she had replied.
