Percy's POV
"What was that!" Rikki exclaimed.
"We can explain, let's just...all take a seat" I said.
While everyone proceeded cautiously to their seats, Hazel raised a hand discreetly, but I spotted her and stopped her arm gently.
"Don't.. let's just try to explain it." I said. " I trust Louis, and if he trusts them, I trust them."
Hazel thought of it for a minute but eventually noded.
We proceeded to our seats around the now grim fire.
"Those were the monsters, weren't them?" Cleo asked.
That earned surprised looks from everyone, and the demigods tensed.
"How did you know that?!" Jason asked, a storm in his eyes, calm is his voice.
"I…" Cloe looked at her feet, visibly ashamed. "...heard Leo and Piper's conversation on the beach the other day."
That earned a indignated look in Piper's face, and a little fire from Leo's nose, along with an ashamed look from the latter.
Emma jumped a little at the little spontaneous combustion.
"I am sorry, I really am. I just got too curious…" She said with a guilty face. "Was the rest true too?" She asked, looking up to Leo.
"Let's just keep the private stuff private, but if what you are asking is if we are...we are-" Leo said.
"Demigods?, then that would be true." Annabeth said in a dry tone.
"I'm sorry, what now!" Zane said.
Meanwhile, Ash was looking utterly confused.
Rikki and Emma turned to Cleo and glared at her.
"Why didn't you tell us, but you told Louis?!" Emma said.
"How did you…?!"Louis exclaimed.
"Don't get into this, Louis." Rikki cut him.
"I just thought that you wouldn't believe me, and I happened to cross Louis while I was thinking about camping and asking them myself, so I asked him for help, and then the monster appeared, and everything went haywire!." Cleo said, desperately trying to explain herself.
That seemed to make them relax, but before they could start talking again, I interfered.
"Wait, so you believe us?!" I was quite confused by their lack of denial.
"Let's just say...Leo here is not the only one who can make fire." Rikki said.
"Wait...so you are demigods?!" Frank asked.
"Nop, it is a very complicated story..how about we tell you what we are, if you continue explaining and tell us who you are sons and daughters of, it makes me curious to know who's my cousin's real father."Louis said, a grin on his face as he said the part about my father.
"First, you tell us what you are, then, we do introductions." I said, challenging my cousin with my stare.
He looked at his girlfriend and his friends for approval, to which they nodded.
Cleo raised a hand and levitated...water!...and then splashed herself and the other three girls.
Their boyfriends all caught them when they grew...mermaid tails...they were mermaids!
