Here's a new chapter.
Enjoy!
Frank's POV
I was falling asleep again in my tent, when I heard a loud thud just outside my tent.
I got my sword and prepared to face any monster there could be.
I opened my tent slowly, and poked outside.
Nico was lying just outside of Hazel's tent.
I rushed to him just as Hazel opened her tent.
"Nico!" Hazel said as she dropped her spatha and rushed towards Nico and me.
With her scream everyone got out of their respective tents as she tried to lift him up, but, unfortunately, he was of the consistency of a ghost and passed out.
"Oh dear, from where did the shadow travel from?!" Percy said, rushing to Hazel's side.
He consequently tried to put his hand on Nico's leg, but it passed right through, which made him shudder.
"What happened to him?" Annabeth asked the question in everyone's mind.
"Will warned me about this, when the shadow travels from too far away, or too many times in a short amount of time, he starts to blend with shadows. But Will wouldn't've let him do this, something must be wrong at home." She then closed her eyes, and lifted him up bridal style.
After carrying him to her tent, she got back out.
"He must rest, that really drained him."
"Do you know for how long?" Jason asked.
"At least a full 24 hours, and then he must eat something, I bet he skipped lunch again." She sighed. "If you are wondering what shadow travel is, it is using shadows everywhere as a sort of portal, and only he can do it." She sighed. "I need a minute."
She walked towards the woods.
"I'll follow her, you all go back to sleep." I said, and followed toward her.
When I reached up to her, she was breathing heavily, on the brink of crying.
"Hey." I said.
"Hey." She replied sadly.
"Do you need a hug?"
"Yes:" She then hugged me tightly, I hugged her back.
"I am worried about him, he could've faded away. And what's so important that Will let him do this alone. I don't get it, what's going on back home?."
"I don't know, but I know that we can with whatever it is."
"I really hope you're right."
She kissed me briefly, which blushed both of us. She then smiled at me and I returned the smile.
"Good night." She said as she walked to her tent.
I admired the sights a little bit, and headed back to sleep.
Hoped you enjoy!
