Nico's POV

We packed up all the camping supplies, and headed to the parking lot.

Waiting for us, was a blue car, which Rikki explained was her dad's.

We got in the car, and, once we reached the city, I directed them to the hotel we were staying in, which happened to be the same in which the others were.

It was a very quiet ride.

We pulled into the parking lot, and walked to the reception.

I excused myself to go to the bathroom.

I got into the men's room, and turned to the mirror to take a better look at myself, and I seemed worse than I imagined.

No wonder the mermaids got scared of me.

The bags under my eyes had deepened, my eyes gave off an extremely tired glare, I was skinnier than yesterday, which made me look anorexic, and my skin was ghost-pale.

What could've possibly made me use this much energy?!

I forced myself together with mental scotch tape, and took a glowing coin out of my back pocket. I consequently threw it to a rainbow made with tap water and the coin itself, and called Will.

However, the minute it connected and I could see Will's face, it was cut out.

I attempted another Iris message, and I found Will in an elevator along with Calypso.

"You are in the lobby's men's room, aren't you?", Will demanded.

I simply responded yes, and the message was once again cut off.

I figured they would take a few more minutes to get down, so I went into one of the cubicles.

I quickly finished, and then washed my hands.

I stepped out the door to find a worried and angry Will running towards me in the clothes he had yesterday, and with his hair messier than a bird's nest.

I predicted what would happen before it did.

Will reached me, slapped me across the face, and then forcefully kissed me.

But I didn't even get the chance to return it.

He violently pulled away and started scolding me.

Yep, just how I predicted.

Why do the people who love me always seem to have mixed feelings about me?

Once he stopped yelling at me for not coming back last night, he seemed to realize we were being watched.

He calmed himself, and shot me a "we are not finished" glare, along with a "you do not look good, you are going to drink liters of gatorade after this" look.

Like I said, mixed feelings.

"What happened?, and who are you?" he said as he turned to the others.

"We are mermaids, and these are our boyfriends." Emma said.

Will muttered something about it not being the weirdest thing that he's ever heard under his breath in response to Emma's statement.

"And the reason we didn't come earlier is because Nico passed out and almost faded away last night." Hazel continued.

Scratch the angryness, now Will was just truly worried.

Unfortunately, my body decided it was time to take a nap.

I just felt Will's arms catching me before I passed out, again.
