Promised there'll be more. :)

Percy's POV
I woke up but kept my eyes closed.
I felt Annabeth's arms along my back, her breath on my mouth.
I slowly opened my eyes and watched her gray eyes glowing in the morning light, looking lovingly at my own.
"Morning sleepy head." She whispered.
She smiled, and my heart skipped a beat at her bright, beautiful smile.
"Morning owl face."
She smirked at my joke.
She leaned forward slightly, slowly closing her eyes.
I imitated her, and our lips clashed in a glorious wave of wonder, love, and passion.
I pulled her over to my side, and she leaned over.
She stopped, smirked, and put her hands on my chest.
"We have to meet the rest in an hour at the hotel's restaurant."
"Do we have to, though?" I goofily responded.
"Yes." She smirked, detecting my goofy tone.
She sat at the edge of the bed and tied her hair up to a ponytail.
"Come on,am I gonna take a bath first, or should I?"
I smiled well knowing she knew the answer.
I sat up straight, brushed my hair with a hand, and moved over to her.
I hugged her from behind and rested my head on her shoulders, putting my weight on the bed.
"It's too early."
"Yes, but you take too much time getting ready, and you don't even do that much."
"I'll take your word for it."
I kissed her cheek, and went to the shower.
I stood under the water for a while, letting it slowly wake me up and unsore my muscles.
I finally closed the shower and took out a tower.
I dried myself, and put on a simple blue Hoover dam t-shirt and a pair of shorts with pockets for Riptide.
I stepped out.
"Done, Wise girl."
"Good. I'm going in."
She walked past me and into the shower.
She took around 20 minutes to get ready, and we were on our way.
I goofily offered her my arm, she took it and leaned on my shoulder, I leaned on her head and we walked like that to the elevators.
She called an elevator, but before we stepped in, we heard someone call our names.
We turned to see the speaker.
"Oh, hey Will."
He nodded in acknowledgement.
"Are you okay? You seem...tired." Annabeth asked him in a sympathetic tone.
"Not really, I've been taking care of Nico. Now he isn't cold, but he is burning up, and he can't sleep." We stepped into the elevator." I don't know what's going up with him. Not that I'm complaining that he's hungry, but it just feels unusual on him. I do hope that becomes a habit, though." He faintly smiled. "Maybe the mermaids can help me figure out what's going on with him. I just managed to make him fall asleep. I let Hazel and Jason taking care of him. I'm seriously hoping he stays asleep,at least for a while."
I passed an arm through his shoulders, and Annabeth through his waist.
We both hugged him.
It seemed like he needed it, because he returned and leaned into the hug, basically melting into it.
Everyone was seated around a table at the hotel's restaurant.
Will stood up.
"Mmmm…A-as you know, Nico is…not alright and a night's sleep didn't exactly fix that. We called you here because we thought you might have some way to help? Maybe magic can do this?"
"I don't think so, magic from Mako cannot directly affect people without a tail. It has never happened." Emma said.
"Can it be indirect?" Jason inquired.
"In full moon mermaids can act without intention, like in a sort of trance, if you touch water, or look at the moon. In that sense, yes, it can indirectly affect. But we're nowhere near the full moon."
"Then what can be causing it?"
"It almost sounds like a soul-eater." Louis said.
"What did you say?" Will asked.
"Soul-eater. You know, a creature that slowly eats your soul and leaves a potentially lethal disease behind? A lot of cultures had that concept."
"Is that possible, Will?" Percy turned to the blonde.
The blonde looked at him, deep in thought.
Then he raced towards the elevators.
Piper and Percy immediately stood up and followed.
The rest took a moment to feel confused and then followed.
There's that.
Hepefully, things already start to make sense, if they don't then the soon...Will.
Get it?, No?, ok. :(
Anyways, have a nice existence and take care. -wittybookreader
