Another Generation

(Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter)

Chapter One

"Open at your own risk" was written on the label. It was addressed to Sabriel Potter. It was odd because no one from her old school knew her new address and there was no return address.

She had to know what was in it, even if it warned her not to open it. So she thought, why send me something that you didn't want me to open.

So she carefully opened the envelope half expecting a howler. Instead it was a letter, it said:

You may not know me, but I know you. I saw you the

First day that you were sorted into Gryffindor house and

I knew that we were meant to be. I would like to meet

You in person to tell you more, so meet me at Honeydukes

At two.

AM

P.s I wrote "open at your own risk" on the label because I did

Want anyone else to open it.

P.P.s I knew that you would be curious enough to open the letter.

Well, I have a secret admirer and it sounds like he stalks me. Now I know why I always feel like someone is watching me, it's this AM person.

"Hey, Kylie, can you come with me to Honeydukes tomorrow at two?" Sabriel asked, while leaning over her food to talk to her best friend Kylie Krum.

"Sure, why?"

"Here," Sabriel said, handing her the letter.

As Kylie read, her eyes grew wide. "You're kidding! This is great! I'm so going with you. I want to meet this mysterious AM," Kylie said looking up from the letter.

"Good. We have to be in Herbology in 10 minutes."

The snakes head bobbed up and down as it said, "This is your last chance to give us the destination of Harry and Ginny Potter. We know that you're their secret keeper so don't play dumb."

"I won't tell you anything!" a voice shouted.

"That leaves me no choice. Crucio!"

Right before Sabriel could scream, "No!" she was jerked out of her sleep by Amanda Kip, a fellow Quidditch player. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I lust had a nightmare that felt so real."

"Okay, Kylie says that you need to get up so you can get ready for your blind date."

"Thanks," Sabriel said getting up to take a shower.

After her shower, she was sure that her dream was just a dream, but she decided to tell Professor McGonagall, later.

"Okay, Sabriel, lets leave your hair down instead of a ponytail and put some make-up on," Kylie said as Sabriel walked in wearing a bathrobe.

As Sabriel sat down, looked at herself in the mirror and thought, I look okay.

Sabriel had red hair and freckles that she got from her mom's side and her green eyes, which she got from her mom. But she was nothing compared to Kylie who looked more like her mother than her father. She had Hermione's hair and eyes but had Victor's bump on her nose.

"I won't wear make-up. Or wear my hair down," Sabriel stated.

"If you say so."
