BlueMoon Goddess: First I want to say Happy Valentine's Day everyone! And for this holiday of love, I'm going to go ahead and update the last chapter to this story, so I hope you all enjoy the last chapter!

Summary: Why did life hate her? Kagome's day couldn't get any worse. First, she gets fired from her crappy job, then, she gets kicked out of her apartment and was homeless. But the cherry on top was getting kidnapped and taken to be hunted by demons so she can mate with one of them. Yea…she probably shouldn't have gotten out of bed that morning.

They both were panting, their breaths echoing around the room as their lungs fought for oxygen. Kagome's body was trembling beneath Inuyasha's as he felt the occasional spasmodic twitching of her body as a series of mini pleasure aftershocks reverberated her.

When he was able to catch his breath and his mind no longer filled with desire, he raised slightly from her body, making sure that he didn't crush her. "I love you." He kissed her softly, combing his fingers through her strands of hair.

"I love you, too." She whispered, reaching a hand up to wipe his face of sweat. "Inuyasha?"

"Yeah?" He kissed the side of her mouth, both of them still panting.

"I love you a lot. Not just a little bit."

"I know." He then changed to an important subject. "How do you feel? Are you sore or anything?"

She gave a shake of her head while giving a bright smile. "No, I feel great."

"You sure?"

"I truly enjoyed it. It was everything I hoped it would be. In fact, I wouldn't mind going for another round."

Damn this woman. He gave her a smirk. "In that case, I'll be happy to go another round with you. But first, I think you should rest a bit. This was still your first time and I wouldn't want you to be too sore in the morning." He then pulled out of her so he could go to the bathroom and get a rag to clean her up.

When he pulled out, Kagome's face paled as he looked down between her legs and clapped a hand over her mouth. "Oh God." She gasped.

Inuyasha looked down as well. There was a bit of blood mixed in with his juices and hers, dripping down the inside of her thighs.

"There's nothing to worry about, Kagome." He tried to reassure her. "It was your first time, so bleeding is normal for virgins. It's nothing to freak out about."

"I'm not freaked out about the blood, Inuyasha. We didn't use protection." She said frantically, as she scrambled from the bed and made her way to the bathroom. "No, no, no. This can't be happening…this can't be happening." She chanted, as she went into the shower stall and under the spray and washed herself. Like washing him away would change things.

"Kagome." He called to her.

He didn't understand what the problem was. They were going to be mated soon, and mated couples always had sex without protection. Then it clicked. How could he be such an idiot? This was Kagome's first time and this surely wasn't his. He was sure that humans were taught that no matter what, safe sex is a must to protect you from certain diseases. And with him having sex so many times, of course she would be worried.

"Kagome, look I'm sorry." He touched her arm, but she kept washing herself. "I probably should've mentioned this to you before we started, but I'm safe from any disease you might think I could give you. Even though I'm half-demon, I still get tested after every sexual encounter I've had. I was tested about three months ago, which was the last time I had sex, and everything was fine."

"I can't believe this." She stopped what she was doing and took a deep breath, completely ignoring his words. "I'm not going to panic. We shouldn't panic."

"Kagome." He turned the faucet so that the water stopped. "Didn't you hear me? I said you don't have to worry about me giving you anything."

"That's not true. You can very well give me a baby." She stated, as she turned the faucets back on and continued to wash herself.

Inuyasha thought about her words. A baby? Was this why she was panicking, because she didn't want to get pregnant. "Kagome, listen." He gained her attention by cupping her jaw. "That's not going to help."

Her eyes lifted to him, looking panicked. "It might. I have to try."

He waited while she continued to clean, this time she used soap. When she was finally done, she turned the faucets off, her shoulders slumped. Her eyes filled with concern. "I can't be a mother. I just can't."

Inuyasha led her from the shower and put a towel around her. She was shivering, but he knew it wasn't because she was cold. He wrapped a towel around his waist, just to be covered and picked her up.

Kagome put her arms around his shoulder. A tear slid from between her closed lids as she sniffed. "Please tell me that we can go and get the morning after pill. That we can make this go away."

"Would a baby be so bad?" He kept his voice soothing.

"Yes." There were more tears and his heart bled. "I don't want to be a mother. I told you that before." Her eyes were wide, nose runny. Her eyes continued to leak tears. He could see that she was trying not to freak out. She was trying not to cry.

He put her down on the bed and held her close.

"Why are we here? We need to get dressed. Take me to the human world so we can go to a pharmacy. Better yet, take me to the hospital. Maybe they can—"

"None of that would help."

"Oh God." She made a whimpering noise. "Please don't say that."

"Shhh." He rubbed her back.

"Don't you dare try and calm me down. I don't want to be calm. This is no time for calm." She tried to pull away from him.

"You aren't in heat yet."

"You said I was close."

"True, but there's a slight chance that you won't become pregnant." He told her.

"A slight chance…" She covered her face with her hands and made a sobbing noise. "There's a slight chance that I'm pregnant. Oh no! I swear, if I'm not we're never having sex again. We can't take that risk ever again."

He tried not to laugh. "We will be having sex, Kagome. Lots and lots of it."

She shook her head. "No, forget it! If I'm not knocked up we can't have sex again. We can fool around but that's it, no sex!"

"Kagome." He brushed the hair from her face. "Let's see what happens. You might be having a panic attack over nothing. Besides, a baby would be—"

"Don't say it." This time when she pulled away he let her. "Don't talk about how wonderful a baby would be or how precious."

"Our child would be those things. They would be a perfect combination of us. They would be—"

"Exactly…they would be incredible. A beautiful half-demon baby. I can just picture his or her toothy grin and chubby hands." Her eyes brightened up and she almost smiled.

"See, it wouldn't be so horrible. Besides, if were being technical, our child would be quarter demon."

"No matter what percentage our kid would be, they would be precious." Then Kagome's eyes clouded over in sadness. "But it'd be taken away, I just—"

"Wait, what do mean it'd be taken away? Why would you think that?"

"Because that's what happened to my family and Kaede." Kagome sadly said. "I loved them and they were taken away from me. I told you before that everyone I've ever let in just leaves."

Inuyasha felt himself frown. He remembered they had a similar conversation in his mother's garden the day that they had the meeting with Sesshomaru. How she said that there was no point in letting people in because they always left her. Is this why Kagome was so against having children?

"Kagome…" He truly didn't have the words to say. What could he say to make her feel better?

Her eyes lifted to his as the tears continued to fall. "I'll get attached to this baby and then next thing I know something will happen to it. So why should I go through that pain and just ensure it doesn't happen." She said, rubbing her face with a hand.

Inuyasha pulled her into his chest. His heart feeling heavy. No wonder she didn't want children. She was scared she would lose it just like she lost others that she cared and loved. He held her tighter while she sobbed. Now he knew exactly what to say to her.

"Kagome, do you remember what I told you in my mother's garden the last time you voiced your concerns?"

Kagome sniffed, and nodded her head in his chest. "You told me that sometimes you have to face your fears to find the beauty."

"Exactly." Inuyasha confirmed. "I know how you feel and you have a right to feel guarded. The people you loved and cared for left your life without a say. It wasn't your fault they left you. Your family and Kaede left without a choice and those other fools who you let in chose to miss out what a wonderful person you are." He pulled away so that he could look into her tear-soaked eyes.

"I know now that even though you said you love me, deep down, your still scared that one day I'm just going to leave you aren't you?" He questioned her. When she hesitantly gave him a nod, he gave her a reassuring smile. "You don't have to worry about that. I promised you that I wasn't going anywhere and no matter what, I'll always stay by your side. Why would I ever think of leaving you? You have so much love to give, Kagome. Your caring, loving and fierce. I'll be so happy to call you my mate and I would be thrilled to have you as the mother of my children. If you never trust anything else I say ever again, believe that. Know that you'll never be alone again because I'll always reach for you. Just the mere fact that you're so afraid tells me that you'll be a great mother."

She sniffed. "Do you think so?" Hope filled her eyes.

Inuyasha nodded. "More than sure." He knew from the way she had spoken earlier that she did want children, deep down inside. She was just afraid, and with good reason. She just needed to be able to trust that nothing would happen and she could deserve everything she wanted and more.

She might not be pregnant, and even if she wasn't they had time. He would make sure that she was fully onboard and that any doubts she had were dispelled. If she wasn't pregnant, he would work on patience. Inuyasha was sure that there would be children in their future regardless.

Kagome nodded. "Okay. We'll get through this together."

"I'm not worried, we'll be fine. Our children will love you and you'll love them right back."

"I might not be pregnant, so don't say that." She gave his arm a playful slap.

"I hope you are but if you aren't we'll work on it at some point in the future."

"How long do we need to wait?"

"About a week."

"So long?" Her eyes were bright. If he didn't know better he would say that she looked excited.

Two Months Later…

"That had to be one of the best parties I've ever been to." Kagome told Inuyasha, as they made it back to their room.

They had just come back from their wedding reception and to say it was something Kagome got to experience. She had never been to an extravagant party like the one she had before. Even the times when she worked at for that party planning company for a short time, she didn't get to fully experience what was happening, she was just doing a job. So it was a fun experience. Most likely since Inuyasha was a prince of the Western Lands, he would probably have to attend these kinds of parties and other events with him in the future.

In addition to Inuyasha being a prince in the Western Lands, everyone was curious on who he was mating. So to appease them, Sesshomaru had held a grand party as a way she could meet all the important figures in the land and nations. Furthermore, since they were getting married the demon way, Kagome was able to convince Inuyasha to marry her the human way, and they had a traditional Japanese wedding in his mother's garden with only a few close people including Sesshomaru, Atlas and Aero, and even Koga and Ayame.

"It would've been better if Sesshomaru didn't make you talk to every single ruler at the party." Inuyasha said, plopping down on the couch.

"It wasn't that bad." Kagome told him honestly, taking at seat next to him. "Besides, at least my big brother's getting used to me."

Inuyasha cringed when she called Sesshomaru her big brother. "Again, you saying that sounds really wrong." He told her.

A month ago, when Kagome had spotted Sesshomaru walking down the halls she had called him big brother, which in turn had him glaring daggers at her before he walked away. When she told Inuyasha, he just told her how wrong it sounded and to never say it again. However, she didn't listen and a few weeks ago, she called Sesshomaru that in front of his assistant, Jaken and he was trying to reprimand her from talking to Sesshomaru like that. In the end, Sesshomaru just told Jaken to shut up or he'd kill him. Kagome was sure that deep down, Sesshomaru was liking the idea of her calling him big brother. He was just too proud to say it.

"But its true." She stated.

"How about we stop talking about Sesshomaru and get to the important matter at hand." Giving her a sly smirk.

"Oh, and what would that be?" She smiled, slyly at him in return.

Inuyasha leaned over to whisper in her ear. "This is supposed to be the start of our honeymoon."

"Then we certainly shouldn't waste time, now should we?"

"My thoughts exactly." Inuyasha then got up and picked Kagome up bridal style and made his way to his room. Well, now it was their room.

He reached his room and dropped her on the mattress, watching her bounce a little from the impact. He kneeled on the bed, and crawled his way to her until he was above her. "Are you ready?"

"Its not like this is the first time we've had sex." Kagome told him, which wasn't a lie.

For the past month they've spent doing nothing else besides having sex. Well, at least for the first few weeks. They had managed to do other things then stay in bed all day afterwards. In addition, when she nearly had that panic attack about almost getting pregnant, they both agreed that it would be best that they take some precautions in order to prevent something like that from happening again. So, Inuyasha had taken her to the human world and they had gotten some birth control for her. They both knew they wanted children, eventually. But for now, they were satisfied of being a twosome before adding another person into the mix.

"I know but tonight I'm fully going to claim you and unlike the other times, I might get a bit rough." He had explained to her what a demon mating involved and when he was explaining it to her, she seemed to understand what would happen.

"I'll be fine." She gripped his shoulders, as she reached up to kiss him. "I trust you."

"I promise I'll try not to hurt you."

She squirmed, her eyes glinted. "You won't."

"I might." He said, worriedly. This was going to be the first time he was letting his demon instincts take over. He just hoped that he wouldn't be too far gone and hurt her.

He removed the ivory dress she wore earlier, and once she was completely bare, he quickly discarded his clothes as well. Fuck she was a sight to behold. He was certain that he was never going to get tired of seeing her like this. "Turn over." His voice was guttural, his demon side taking over. It needed her on all fours.

Kagome rolled over, the sight of her ass spread and her folds wet and glistening looked so inviting to his eyes that he needed to have a taste. He pulled her thighs apart, and ravenous with need, he leaned forward and began to attack the flesh of her folds with his tongue. She tried to sit up, but Inuyasha was quick to put one hand on her back and the other on her hip, preventing her from moving. Her cries turned to screams, as her body jerked with every lash of his tongue, as she flooded his mouth with her delectable flavor.

Her body quivered with every stroke Inuyasha flicked against her nub. He needed her to give him one. Just one and he could finally claim her. So in order to bring her over the edge, he slipped a hand between her thighs and teased her nub with his fingertips even as he pushed his tongue into the wet heat of her core. Inuyasha could feel her folds clench and squeeze around his tongue as she came, Kagome keening a low sound, as her entire body started trembling.

"Fuck, I don't think I'll ever get tired of feeling you come in my arms." Inuyasha murmured, as he pressed his mouth against the backs of her thighs and her ass, nuzzling her.

He got up from between her legs and slid up behind her. "I'm going to mate you now and you remember what I'm going to do right?"

Kagome nodded, tiredly. She remembered what Inuyasha told her about the process of demons mated. They had sex, which for most demons, required them be in the doggy-style position. Then the demon bites them on the neck, giving them some of their life energy. It was a way to seal them to them as life-time mates. The interesting fact she learned about this was that for humans, it was also a way to prolong their life and have almost the same lifespan as their demon mates. To say the least, Kagome was very happy to know that simple fact. She wanted to spend as long as she could with Inuyasha.

"Alright, remember once we get going I'm going to bite you. I'll hold you down as well, but I swear I'm going to make you feel good." His mouth watered, as his teeth felt sharp against his tongue.

"Sounds good." She was out of breath, as she pushed her ass towards him.

"Fuck, you're perfect for me." He gripped her hips.

"We're perfect for each other." She cried out as his thumb skimmed over that tiny little bud of nerves. All he wanted was to take her. His demon instincts were still insisting he do it now but he needed to prepare her for what was to come.

He dipped the tip of his finger into her snug fold. "Your still fucking wet. Didn't you come enough from having my tongue in you?" His fangs felt sharp against his tongue, as he strummed her nub and she mewled, arching her back.

Kagome just answered him in a moan.

"I'm going to mate you now, Kagome."

"Please, I need you." She sounded breathless and needy. Her legs were splayed wide but he pulled them wider still. He needed her open and submissive. He needed her, period.

"Don't fight me." He growled as he positioned himself against her slick channel. "I'll try and go easy."

"Its fine, I just need you. Please." Damn, his woman knew how to beg. "Oh God!" She shrieked as he sheathed himself inside her in one hard thrust, his hips hitting her ass.

"Say my name." He growled.

"Inuyasha." Her voice quivered.

"You want this?"

"Yes." She whimpered.

"You're mine, Kagome and I'm yours." He struggled to stay still. His whole body vibrated with need.

"Yes." A breathy whisper. "I love you, Inuyasha."

"I love you too, Kagome." He groaned, as he leaned down to kiss the middle of her back tenderly. "But I'm very far fucking gone. I need to claim you but I'm scared of hurting you."

"I won't break." She moaned loudly and he realized that his thumb was turning lazy circles on her nub. His other hand held on tightly to her hip, his fingers making indents on her flesh. "Please, Inuyasha. I want you. I need you. I won't fight you. I know this whole mating instinct is driving you nuts. Believe it or not, I feel it too. You can fuck me hard and hold me down and do any of the other things you want to do. I'm yours, let's finally make it official."

He pulled out on a low growl and plunged back in. Inuyasha pushed her down on the bed, he continued to thrust into her welcoming flesh. He could feel the sweat bead on his brow. "Feels so good." His voice was gruff, as her ass bounced each time his hips collided with the lush mounds.

Kagome arched her back. However, his inner demon didn't like that. In its mind, she was trying to get away. He gripped her shoulder, holding her down, using his other hand to push her flush onto the bed. Fuck, he needed to take it easy! He loosened his grip as Kagome moaned. Inuyasha crouched over her, caging her in with his body. She mewled and her channel fluttered. It felt like she was about to come again. He couldn't be sure though and it worried him. Kagome was breathing heavily, her eyes were wide, her mouth was open. She might also be panicking. He tried to ease off but couldn't do it. If anything, the need to fuck her harder coursed through him.

"Yes!" She screamed. "Oh please."

Her sex tightened around him and she made a strange, high-pitched keening noise that told him she was diving over the edge. Thank fuck! At last, a feeling of calm descended. At the same time, his blood rushed and his balls pulled tighter than ever before.

"Mine!" He snarled as he sank his teeth into her neck.

Mark.

Claim.

Take.

His own pleasure rushed through him in that instant. He released her neck as power surged through him and into her. Kagome went ridged for a split second, her sheath so tight he physically hurt. Then she screamed, but Inuyasha kept moving, or at least tried to, his whole body felt like it was spasming around her, in her. At long last, he was able to slow, he moved in slow easy, circular thrusts wringing out the last drops of pleasure for her. He was dripping with sweat. They both were. He was sure to keep his weight off of her. Inuyasha was reluctant to pull out. He wanted to stay joined with her but he needed to make sure she was fine.

Kagome's eyes were closed and her breathing had evened out. Her mouth still hung open. The bite wound was raw. It was more severe than he had planned. It would leave a scar, which was customary for a demon mating. However, Kagome was human, she was fragile. Something lodged in his throat and his chest hurt. Inuyasha laved at the wound. It would seal quickly. Now that they were mated, her senses would improve, and her healing capabilities would improve as well. However, this didn't make him feel any better. Kagome didn't react, she looked unconscious. He felt his brow knit as worry tightened his chest.

"Kagome?" With a grunt, he withdrew from her heat. He moved in next to her and cradled her in his arms. "Kagome." He tried again.

She moaned and her eyelashes fluttered.

"Fuck, Kagome!" His voice held a more frantic edge, he lifted her into a sitting position, still cradling her in his arms. Her head lolled for a moment before she rested her cheek against his chest.

"That was …" Her voice croaked, her eyes still closed.

"Too much. I hurt you." He wiped the hair from her brow. Her face was flushed. "I'm so sorry. My instincts … I just …"

"No." Her voice was thick, she sounded half asleep.

"Yes." He cradled her closer.

She gave a drunk looking smile and cracked her eyes open for a second. "That was amazing." She whispered, closing her eyes again.

"I didn't mean to hurt you. I was too rough and I should've known better."

"You were amazing." She nipped at his pec and he grunted as her teeth sank into his. Fuck, he was already set to go another round with her.

No, what the hell was wrong with him? He shouldn't be thinking about this now! He needed to calm down. It was obvious that his newly mate needed help. "Should I get a healer?" His heart beat wildly.

Kagome giggled, as she wrapped her arms around his neck and she finally opened her eyes. "You've been holding out on me."

Inuyasha cupped her cheek, he looked deep into her eyes which were glassy. "I think you might be running a fever. I must've hurt you. You―"

She gripped his hand and kissed the palm. "I'm perfectly fine, but can you please tell me what happened?" She had a goofy smile on her face and had a slow blink going on. In short, she looked tipsy.

"It's obvious that you're not." He could hear the frustration in his voice. "What's wrong with you?"

"I'm fine…it's the sex… oh my God!" She smiled, looking more like herself. "I've never experienced that before. It felt like my whole entire body erupted from what you did. What was that?" She spoke quickly, her eyes wide. "Holy shit! I think I was unconscious for a minute there."

"Yeah." He touched her brow. "That isn't happening again."

Kagome slapped his hand away. "Oh yes it is. I loved it." She straddled him, her nipples abrading his chest. "It's going to happen again and we're doing that…lots and lots of times."

Something eased in him. "I wasn't too rough then?"

She shook her head, threading her fingers around his neck. "No way."

The wound on her neck was already healing. It didn't look as bad. Then again, maybe he had been so worried earlier that it seemed worse than it really was. "I won't bite you quite as hard." He touched the bite mark.

"I like the whole biting thing." She bobbed her eyebrows and bit his neck. Inuyasha growled as her teeth sunk into him. "Do you like that?" Her voice held a timid edge.

"Very much," The words left him in a deep rumble and his shaft gave a twitch between their bodies.

Kagome pulled her lips into her mouth for a moment. He could see that she was thinking about something. "You need to tell me what you like. What makes you happy. I want to make you happy, Inuyasha."

"You do." He answered without hesitation. He turned her so that he was between her legs with her flat on her back. She gave a squeal.

"I fucking love anything to do with you." His voice was deep, his chest vibrated against her soft breasts. Her nipples hardened. "I love being inside you, your mouth on me, your teeth on me…all of it and everything."

"Oh… good." A breathy sigh. "I feel the same." She smiled shyly.

"I'm glad you can handle it." He was sure that Kagome was sore after such rough lovemaking, so he began to ease off of her. But Kagome had other ideas.

"Where do you think you're going?" Her hand slipped between them and wrapped around his shaft, giving his length a light tug.

Inuyasha's eyes closed for a moment and he groaned, pumping into her tight fist.

"I'm ready for more." A breathy whisper, so full of promise he couldn't help but pump into her fist, making a grunting noise this time.

"I'm glad, because there's a lot more where that came from." Inuyasha kissed her. His heart felt huge inside his chest. It beat for her. For his appointed mate.

Surely you guys knew that since the foraging went so well, our favorite Lord Sesshomaru HAS to take part in the next one! Anyway, the sequel to this is going to be uploaded probably within a couple of months (most likely in April), which I'll upload on here and on Archive Of Our Own, which I've started to put my fics on.
