Chapter 58: Knight's Oath.

Ketra paced around her home in frustration, she kept glancing at the strange but oddly pretty little ebony-skinned creature that was now laid on her bed after having had his surgery to fix the lung that she had punctured by being lifted up by her after she got embarrassed after the strange device he was carrying had shocked her after she had taken it from him.

She felt absolutely terrible about it as after her flash of anger had quickly passed she had realised he had tried to warn her about the dangers of the strange device which was now sat on her living room table where her knights were discussing the strange item as well as the others they had taken from them both though they were far more cautious about touching them after seeing her felled by the large metal object.

The other creature was sat cross-legged on the large couch between all of her knight sisters and the honoured healer had done them one further favour before leaving in that she had determined that this one was both uninjured as well as that is was male as well, so two strange sentient males of an unknown species were here among her people, could this be it, could be the second sign?

Suddenly there was a booming knock at her door and she turned and open it to find Lord Beltran and his honour guard standing waiting and by the look on his proud features, he did not look happy.

"Please enter and be welcome honoured Lord Beltran," Ketra said bowing low and gesturing for the leader of their town to enter her home.

He did and only when his sizeable frame had proceeded across her home's threshold was it that he saw his warrior wife Layla right beside him and she entered also while the honour guards all waited outside protecting the house and its occupants.

"Healer Lamel tells me you wish to confess a grievous sin Blessed Knight Ketra?" Lord Beltran said in his deep rumbly voice that had turned a thousand female heads, not Ketra though and she had often wondered to herself why that was.

Lord Beltran was a prime example of Beledon masculinity, he was broad, he was tall and he was as strong as a non-blessed one could be, he was an example by which all the men of the town tried to hold themselves, but no matter what Ketra simply could not see him or any of them in the light that she was always told she should.

"I do indeed lord Beltran, my inexcusable anger has caused one of the captured creatures to become grievously wounded, if it was not for the actions and intervention of the honoured healer his wound would have been a mortal one and would have cost a restrained and helpless person their life and I wish to confess this crime so that I may pay for it and my honour not be in any way sullied, I am ready to be punished for it!" Ketra said standing tall and proud before the large male Beledon who glared at her for a moment before glancing at the creature now laid on her bed bandaged and displaying the evidence of the honoured healer's works upon his fragile body.

"What happened?" Lord Beltran asked in a cautious and somewhat disbelieving voice a tone she did not blame him for, for a Blessed Knight to do something as shameful as to injure a helpless and restrained and even possibly innocent prisoner in such a way would be a truly shocking and shameful thing.

Ketra explained what had happened and Lord Beltran glanced at the large object laid on her table, "It was this thing that felled you?" he asked and she nodded, he reached out a large hand to touch it and she immediately grabbed his wrist making his wife bristle and scowled angrily.

"Unhand my husband Blessed Knight Ketra! How dare you touch him!" she exclaimed her hand lowering itself to the sword hilt on her belt.

Ketra released his wrist, "S-Sorry my lady and to you as well my lord I simply did not wish you to be injured by the object, I have that it may have or indeed use a strong magic of some kind, it felled me easily like it was nothing and despite the creatures warnings which I did not heed I did the same and I paid for my hubris and arrogance, it might look benign but it far from it, I simply did not wish my lord to fall victim to it as well" Ketra said quickly and Lady Layla huffed and nodded.

"I see, then you were acting in protection of your lord, you are forgiven," she said folding her large arms over her armoured chest, Lady Layla was a fierce warrior in her own right and was a veteran of a great many battles.

"Thank you, my lady," Ketra said.

Lord Beltran thankfully thought better of touching the object and retracted his hand, "Hmmm it seems to me that an object that can easily fell a Blessed one let alone a Blessed Knight should be treated with respect and could be a valuable asset against other warlords or more importantly against these cursed one's that have been popping up all over our territory, so it would be wise if we could turn it to our cause and form what you told me the creature was holding it and was unharmed by it so maybe it can only be used by one of their kind, did the other one have one also?" Lord Beltran asked and Ketra shook her head making her mane shimmy.

"No honoured lord only the ebony one, the other had very little on him other than a few items we believe to be food and possibly medical supplied though they are strange" she replied.

Lord Beltran scratched his large square chin as he eyed the nervous little slightly yellow-skinned creature sitting on her couch, "Let us see if he can touch it and then we'll have our answer, place his hands upon it" he said.

Ketra turned to her knights and nodded and two of them who were called Hemel and Ova gripped him from either side and instantly the little creature began to protest and shout as his hands were stretched out, "Do not worry little one you will not be harmed we only wish to see if you can use this thing" Ketra said soothingly knowing that it could not understand her but it seemed by the way it was panicking and fighting that it was as scared of the object as they were if not more so.

No sooner had they forced its small hands onto the object than that odd voice spoke from it again, "Pull his hands away!" Ketra exclaimed and her knights obeyed just in time as no sooner had they removed his hands from it than a crackle of electricity shot down the object making the air around it crackle and shimmer.

"Astounding! Simply astounding! But it appears that this one cannot touch it either so it can only be magic then?" Lord Beltran exclaimed leaning down to examine the object without touching it.

"That is my belief honoured Lord, the ebony ebony-skinned must be a shaman or a mage of some kind and this one is probably his squire which is why he was so protective of him when I made his injury worse, they must have the same code of honour that we ourselves have, just like my knights would try to protect me if I were to fall on the battlefield he did the same" Ketra said musing over what she had seen and trying to make sense of it all.

"Intriguing, well now in regards to the dishonour that has occurred, it was accidental but I can see you honour will not allow for such a thing to pass unchallenged, so I hereby decree you are to be the guardian of the Ebony one, I charge you to uncover all of his secrets and by extension your knights are to guard his squire, it is to be your job to ensure their safety and to get to the bottom of their presence here and yes before you even have to say it Ketra I have already consulted the priests about the potential for this to be the second sign and they are worried which makes this all the more important, make this your highest priority excluding all else understood?" he said.

Ketra saluted crisply, "Yes my lord I will not fail you!" she declared and he nodded approvingly.

"See that you don't and it pleases me that my Blessed Knights hold themselves to such a high standard that even the thought of a dishonouring would cause them to come to me to report it, it shows your dedication to our ways and the ways of honour, you leave no room for secrets and for deceptions, this is the standard by which all my knights and warriors should hold themselves to, you are an example to all, keep it up," he said and with that he had his wife swept out of her home with the same gusto which they had entered it.

The small yellowish one that was sitting on her couch chittered to himself softly and was trying to rub his wrists, he was obviously not happy about being used as a test subject as she might not be able to understand his words but his body language spoke volumes.

She lowered herself down so she was face to face with him and he recoiled from her in fear and that made her feel rather guilty, "I am sorry little one, I did not intend or wish you harm only to understand, I apologise if you were made to feel uncomfortable or afraid" she said.

He mumbled something and looked away from her but she could feel a mixture of emotions rolling off him but she could also see the pure white flames of his aura that burned around him, so she knew this creature for whatever his intents or origins she at the very least knew he was pure of heart otherwise she would see it in his aura, though to be fair it wasn't as bright as the one that burned around the ebony-skinned one, the white flames that burned around him were pure and fierce.

000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Jay groaned loudly and he tried to sit up before a jolt of sharp pain forced him back down onto what felt like animal fur under his bare skin...wait...bare skin?

Jay forced his eyes open and after the initial wave of nausea and pain he was able to focus his eyes and he glanced down his chest, he realised that his suit had been peeled down his body to his waist, he also noticed that his chest had been wrapped in a medley of bandages he also immediately that he could breathe a hell of a lot easier, it appeared that the Minotaur people that were apparently called the Beledon or by what he'd overheard the Nightmare Assassin say, had treated his punctured lung and by the looks of it his broken ribs, though if he could get to the micro emergency medical kit that he had managed to retrieve there was an emergency nanite injector in there which was Raptorian technology which had been improved by the science hive and would be able to rapidly heal his wounds.

Suddenly the face of the large red-furred Beledon knight who had been wearing the crimson armour appeared right in front of him making him painfully recoil and sending a jolt of pain down his side making him wince.

She seemed to notice and instantly he saw a look of what could have possibly been guilt or shame maybe?

She began speaking in her odd-sounding language that had a braying quality to it though her voice sounded surprisingly soft, suddenly there was a beep in his ear, "Spoken language profile compilation currently at fifty per cent, limited translation currently possible do you wish to begin translation or wait until the database is complete? Please note the database will continue to expand regardless but progress may be slowed due to live translation requiring more processing power" the voice of his internal translation system said.

"Begin translation," Jay said and the female Beledon cocked her head curiously.

"I wish to understand," she said suddenly which made Jay smile as the translation while rough it was obviously working.

"C-C-Can you understand me?" he asked and the large Beledon female blinked in shock before her eyes widened and she shot bolt upright rising to her near nine-foot height in shock.

"You speak!" she exclaimed and behind her, Jay saw four large horned and one human heads pop up from a large couch that they were sitting upon.

"Jay! You're ok!" Xao exclaimed and he went to clamber off the couch only to be pushed back down by one of the other Beledon females who seemed to have black and white patches on her fur.

"Yeah hurts like a bitch but at least I can breathe air and not blood now," Jay said forgetting for a moment that his translator would smart target on the person he was focused on and would switch the translation so when he was speaking to Xao it would speak in pure English but if he spoke to the Beledon it would switch to Beledon by recognizing the target that he was seeking using the ocular connection that the system used to analyse written words.

"What you say to other?" the crimson Beledon knight demanded taking a step towards the bed which made her hooves make a heavy clop noise as she stepped forwards on the wooden floor of her home.

"He asked if I was ok I answered him is all," Jay said and she seemed to contemplate what he was saying though he had no idea how many of his words would make sense to her. Still, it was obvious some of them did.

"Are better? Is healed?" she asked curiously.

Jay shook his head, "I'm not healed but it is better to thank you for treating my wounds" Jay said softly and now she drew herself up and looked proud and certainly happier.

"Was not me, was healer of honour, glory is hers" she said and Jay put together what she was trying to say in his mind.

"Then I'll thank her if I meet her but umm would you mind letting me use my medical kit it will heal me faster so that I don't have to worry about broken ribs or my wounds opening up again please?" Jay said and the crimson knight cocked her head making her mane slip down over her very broad shoulder.

"Medical kit?" she asked and he nodded.

"It is a medicine that me people can use to get better, it is a small case about this big and it's pink and white," Jay said measuring with his still bound hands.

She looked towards the table where he could just about see his weapon and his bandoleer that contained the gear he'd salvaged from his armour-like his ammo and his rations, there was also his bright pink and white medical kit which was coloured after the Battle Angels armour so that it would be easily identifiable to any Clan Mason member or any ally of the Clan so they could help an injured member in an emergency.

She walked over to the table and he could see she was avoiding his rifle like the plague, she pointed to his bandoleer and more specifically the case attached to it and he nodded, "Yes that's it please may I have it?" he asked and she removed it from the bandoleer and examined it before opening it and looking inside though it was obvious she had no idea what she was looking at.

"No tricks strange thing," she said and he shook his head.

"No tricks, it's just medicine to help me getter better," he said.

She brought the case over and went to hold it out to him but then hesitated, "do not act in dishonour, trusting you" she said and Jay nodded.

"I understand," he said and she handed him the case and he opened it to reveal the nanite injector, it had four canisters of the nanites that were inert until they were injected, now whereas Raptorian nanites were calibrated for a specific person to target specific damage Clan Mason improved nanites were known as battlefield nanites and they were programmed to not only analyse the genome of the subject but to analyse their body so they could detect either wounds or damage that didn't fit what their body was supposed to be and then they would set out to fix the damage.

It was a little tricky to fit the small stasis canister into the injector with bound hands, the thing which kinda reminded Jay of one of the CO2 cylinders that were used for paintball guns that were often used in both training and in play within the Clan was smooth and about three inches long, but once it got placed into the bottom of the injector it hissed and a series of light lit up on the side of the injector to show it was primed and ready to use.

The large Beledon female leaned down to watch him with fascination as he took the injector and placed it against his neck which with a short sharp pinch injected all of the nanites directly into his cartoroid artery sending them speeding throughout his body as rapidly as his heartbeat.

The nanites did not fuck about, no sooner were they in his blood then they set to work, he could actually feel the muscle beginning to stretch and tighten as the strands of muscle fibre were repaired and the bones were knit together, he also felt his breathing rapidly growing smoother and cleaner as the nanites infiltrated his lungs and got to work.

It took all of ten minutes for the nanites to repair the damage that had been done to Jay's body, healing that would have taken days if not weeks and would have put him through a long painful recuperation period that thanks to a punctured lung may have had serious complications or repercussions all boiled down to a few uncomfortable minutes as the nanites rushing throughout his body found the problems and fixed them up.

Pretty soon bones were mended, the flesh was knitted and blood was replaced, all was now well, well except for the fact he was still staring down the scrutiny of a very curious and shocked looking Beledon Dream Warrior.

"You healed!?" she exclaimed as Jay sat up without any pain or discomfort as his newly healed muscle fibres pulled his weight and his newly mended bones flexed and adjusted.

Jay nodded, "Good medicine," he said indicating the injector and before he could say a word she snatched the device from his hand with such speed that he barely saw her move.

"Magic medicine fix strange one in such short time!" she exclaimed examining the device closely.

"Not magic, technology, Clan Mason technology," Jay said and the big Beledon looked up at him curiously.

"C-Clan M-M-Mason?' she said obviously struggling with the unfamiliar sounding words but this time these words were not translated she was trying to use English.

"Yes that's right, they are my people I come from Clan Mason in peace, we mean you or your people no harm, we came to explore this place and we found people who had been attacked, humans like me, that's my species, human" Jay tried to explain but he could see confusion in her large surprisingly pretty eyes.

"Not understand, is your people Human, or Clan Mason?" she asked and Jay realised what was confusing her.

"I am a human being, that is my species, but I belong to a group called Clan Mason they are my errr what's the best way to describe this...oh I know, they are my tribe!" Jay said and the Beledon's face seemed to brighten up as he saw understanding entering her eyes.

"You is human but you are of Clan Mason!" she said sounding happy at the new understanding and Jay nodded then her expression went serious and almost looked like it darkened again like she was trying to make herself look tough or intimidating, which given her size she really needn't have bothered.

"Hows yous talks like me now?" she asked with a hard note in her voice and Jay was a sudden wave of worry, how the hell did one explain a multi adaptive integrated communication and analysis language system to someone who as far as he could see had never seen a car let alone a computer?

"Technology, my Clan have powerful technology, machines like that one there that can do many things, the machine that allows me to speak to you is inside my head," Jay said trying his best to explain to her.

She looked down at the injector in her hand, "Machine" she said trying to understand what he was saying, then she placed the injector down and reached out seizing Jay's head in her massive hands making him squeak with alarm as she'd moved so fast he hadn't even noticed it until she had hold of him.

"Hold still will not hurt," she said in a somewhat soothing voice but given he could feel the incredible strength in the fingers encasing his entire head it didn't fill him with much confidence given she'd already hurt him once by simply picking him up, though to be fair that had been the fault of his already broken ribs, but things like that don't tend to matter to the wounded.

She turned his head left and right being careful and surprisingly gentle with him as she obviously tried to locate the machines he spoke of and that's when he had an idea, there were two places where you could actually feel the implants that they had and he reached up with his bound hands and she flinched back and looked at him suspiciously.

"Trust me, I mean no harm I just wish to show you," he said softly and she cocked her head curiously but offered the hand he had reached for, her took her massive furry hand and gently pulled it towards the left side of his throat, he took her finger and rubbed it against part just above his adam's apple and he could see the look of confusion on her face until he moved her fingers to the opposite side and she felt the hard metallic lump under the skin.

Immediately she began examining his head again feeling all over the lump and testing the other side, and that's when he did the same with his ears, showing her where the two units were hidden in his ear canals, this seemed to both intrigued and delight her.

"Hidden machines," she said turning his head about as if trying to locate more of them under his skin then their eyes met and she cocked her head curiously again, her large ears came up and flicked a few times.

"Pretty eyes," she said and then immediately released his head and stumbled backwards her ears falling back and flicking a few times more before lowering.

Jay felt himself flush, had she just called him pretty?

The big Beledon seemed unsure of both herself and what to do and Jay could also see the other warriors and Xao watching her though he knew that Xao had absolutely no idea what was going on. Still, he did notice one of the knights specifically the one with patchy white and black fur look down at the young oblivious Asian man as he watched what was going down curiously.

Suddenly the big Dream Warrior puffed out her rather ample chest as if drawing her courage to her, "What is doing here human from Clan Mason?' she asked and Jay figured this would be the part where the interrogation began, he just found himself wondering if she knew the extent of her Dream Warrior abilities because if she did she simply wouldn't need to ask him questions, it was well-known information in Clan Mason that the Seekers of Truth could read you mind if they wanted, it was something that all Dream Warriors and Nightmare Assassins could do.

"We crash-landed here, we didn't mean to be here, there was an accident the ship was on crashed and it sent me and my friend Xao here to you," Jay said trying to explain as be he could.

"Crashed? Ship? But there are no seas near here? Must not lie human!" the big Beledon exclaimed a hint of anger entering her voice.

"See truth of mind honoured Blessed sister," one of the others in the group said it seemed to be the one with very dark fur that was so black it almost looked blue.

"Yes this is good idea, I Ketra of the Blessed Knights will see the truth of secrets you try to hide strange creature called human," the big Beledon said puffing out her chest again and then she stepped forwards and grabbed his head, though she seemed to be surprised by the fact that Jay wasn't worried by this, infact it seemed to rattle her quite a lot and she suddenly looked rather unsure of herself.

"I-I will see the secrets!" she stammered and then she closed her eyes and Jay felt the sensation of her trying to penetrate his mind, infact this was a feeling all Saviours knew, it was one of the things that Matriarch Sela eleth Mason insisted on, that all her Saviours train with the Seekers and have their minds probed so that they know if it is happening and the Seekers teach them to try and resist it, not that it's possible to stop a truly determined Dream Warrior but it is possible to resist them for long enough for a Seeker to arrive and assist.

But Jay had no intention of resisting her as he had nothing to hide from her, he wanted her to understand him and by seeing his memories this would hel her to do just that, though he was under no illusions that what she saw in his head was going to blow her mind to bits when she experienced it.

As it turned out he was spot on the mark, as the weight of his life and his knowledge hit her and began to integrate itself into her mind Ketra released him and stumbled backwards, jay could see her eyes going wild as she tried to make sense of his memories as they wove themselves into hers.

000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Ketra could not believe what she was seeing, the things she saw were impossible but these were not lies, it was impossible to lie to a Blessed Knight like her, she could tear the truth from your very soul if she wanted to and she had just done this to this human that according to his memories was called Jay.

The things he had seen and done were incredible but as the memories began to weave themselves into hers she began to understand, that these were not supreme beings, these things they could do were not magics but technology, they were just so much more advanced than her people, but they were not evil infact they were far from it, from what she was seeing here this Clan Mason that he belonged to had no other wants other than to help the innocent and to protect the weak.

She shook her head to clear it as the memory transference was always quite a jarring experience, but it quickly faded and she refocused her eyes on the human called Jay, he was sitting there looking at her expectantly and that's when another one of his memories surfaced, this Clan Mason had its own Blessed Knights only they called them Dream Warriors and the trained ones they called the Seekers of Truth and they were led by one of the leaders of Clan Mason Grand Patriarch Jack Mason.

"You understand now don't you Ketra?" Jay said suddenly and she focused on him and nodded.

"Your people are beautiful," she said in perfect English, she had managed to take his language along with his memories and it had taken root in her mind.

"Hey, I understood that! She can speak English now!?" Xao exclaimed and she turned to look at the young human they called an Asian which was a different race from the species they called human.

"Yes I can, I took the language from your friend's mind and now your tongue takes root in my mind," she said.

"Technically it's one of a few languages I speak, my language is called Mandarin but I do speak English," Xao said proudly obviously proud of his Asian heritage.

"So you see now we are no threat to you or your people, we did not come here with any kind of ill intent we didn't even mean to come here at all we were simply trying to help my kinsmen in space until the vile murderers who booby-trapped the ship detonated it making us abandon it and try to survive by crash landing here on your soil," Jay said and Ketra saw the memories that coincided with his memories flashing through her mind and she nodded as she used his understanding to piece together what she was seeing.

"Your technology is truly incredible Jay of the Clan Mason Saviours," she said trying to show him that she now had his life unravelled in her head and he nodded.

"Thank you and yes I know to less technologically developed people it can seem like magic but it is just simply advanced technology, we are no different to your people, we are just simple mortals trying to make our way through this journey called life and trying to do as much good as we can," Jay said and Ketra nodded in understanding.

"Yes I can see it, your Clan Mason is not unlike our tribe, we do not wish for war and our lord Beltran only wishes for peace among the tribes and the warbands, he does all that he can to keep the peace as he believes that the Beledon people will only grow when we accept others and their differences and learn to work together to make ourselves better, we Blessed Knights who are akin to your Seekers of Truth help him with this," she said proudly and Jay nodded knowingly.

"Well then given that you can see we are not your enemies, maybe you would be so kind as to free us and maybe we can work together on maybe becoming friends?" Jay said holding up his hands to her.

Ketra thought for a moment and then she reached out and untied his hands before turning to her knights who were looking at her in surprise, "I have seen the mind of this one who is called Jay, they are no our enemies or the enemies to our people, they are aliens the things they can do are not magics but superior technology, that device that knocked me down is his weapon it is unusable by anyone but him as he belongs to a tribe called Clan Mason, but they are not our enemies, I will take the responsibilities for them and their actions but I will not have a potential friend bound and chained like animal or criminals" she said.

"So they are friends?" Ova asked looking at Xao who was next to her.

"Yes they are or at the very least they can be, they do not wish us harm or any ill will I have seen how they got here and it is truly unbelievable and I must go and speak to Lord Beltran once they are freed to explain what I have found out to him," Ketra said.

000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Ketra untied both Jay and Xao's hands leaving them rubbing their wrists, "I must report what I have learned to our lord but I will return soon, I leave you both in the care of my trusted knight sisters, they will look after you and will feed you" she said and with that, the big Dream Warrior knight left the house leaving Jay sat on the bed and Xao on the couch.

"So where you from?" one of the Knights asked looking at Xao but it was obvious he couldn't understand her.

"He can't understand your language, he's not a member of Clan Mason like I am so he doesn't have the same technology that is letting me learn your language as fast as I am but if you wish to ask him a question I will ask him for you and translate the answer if you'd like?" Jay said sliding off the bed and walking over to the back of the couch on which they were sitting one the patchy coloured knight looked up at him curiously.

"You are not same tribe?" she asked and Jay shook his head.

"No, I am from a tribe called Clan Mason, he is from Earth which is the homeworld of where our race comes from, I have never been there as not all humans who live among the stars have ever seen the world where our race comes from so while we share a species we are very different," Jay said.

"Are you guys talking about me?" Xao asked a little self consciously and Jay decided to have some fun with the nervous young engineer.

"Yeah I was just telling this knight here how you think she has a sexy tail and an even sexier bum," Jay said playfully feeling a little gleeful as he saw a bright flash of red flood Xao's cheeks as his mouth dropped open to rebuke him but he also glanced at the knight who's ears instantly shot up as she saw the colour change.

"Pretty colours!" she exclaimed grabbing Xao's head and turning him to look at her so she could see his colouring.

Suddenly the others all crowded around Xan and were all pawing at him trying to get a look at his colour changed skin, "Ohhh is so soft, no fur is so strange but is not ugly" the patchy one which Jay believed was the one called Ova said looking at Xao.

"W-W-What's she saying?" he stammered.

"She likes your skin and your colours, I think she likes it when you blush," Jay said suddenly realizing he now knew why certain members of his crew liked to embarrass him.

"honoured Blessed Knight Ketra said we should feed you so we shall make sure you are well fed," Ova said raising from the couch before leaning down and lifting a rather confused and embarrassed looking Xao from his seat and carrying him over to the table and placing him down on one of the massive wooden seats which given it was made for a Beledon made Xao looked like a child by contrast.

"Need feeding up, must make big and strong! Beledon will make small pretty human Xao big and strong!" Ova said proudly as she moved to the kitchen and Xao looked at him for translation.

"She says she's going to feed you up and make you big and strong, probably thinks you're going to need the energy," Jay said with a chuckle and Xao blushed again but this time he actually glanced at Ova's swishing long tail and to Jay's amazement as he watched Xao's eyes ran up her tail and fell upon her large solid looking rear end and he laughed out loud making Xao jump and snap his to him as he leaned down on the back of the couch and gave him a knowing grin.

"W-W-What?" Xao stammered with a guilty note in his voice.

"Five minutes off Earth and you're already looking at the pretty alien girls huh?" he said with a grin and Xao's blush deepened to a pure crimson.

"I-I-I wasn't..." he began but Jay held up a hand to silence him.

"Hey, you don't need to break out the denials around me my friend, remember where I'm from, I live on a planet full of them remember? You'll get no judgement from me, the freedom to love pretty aliens and to let them love us is part of the cornerstone of Clan Mason, it's part of who we are, we fight so that people can love whoever their heart yearns for without judgement, trust me when you get to see the rest of the clan it'll blow your mind, so please dude don't insult my intelligence and I certainly wouldn't insult her if I were you as she looks like she could hit both off into the ground like interracial nails, so be proud and be honest ok?" he said smiling at the obviously confused young man.

"B-B-But she's an alien how can I look at her like well that? I mean why do I like what I see? How is she so attractive? We're two different species, I mean surely given how different she is I shouldn't have these thoughts?" Xao said his voice sounding guilty as he let his eyes drift back to her Ova's swishing tail and followed it up to her large rear which was shimmying back and forth as she began to work in the kitchen but Xao was completely unaware of the fact that Ova had looked back over her shoulder to ask him a question and had now spotted exactly what he was looking at.

"Oh that's an easy one Xao, pretty is pretty regardless of species or gender my friend, our heart wants what it wants and it will not be denied and if your heart likes the bum of a big strong warrior Beledon girl then it's gonna make you look, it doesn't matter if we've just met them or not, how is it any different to if you saw a pretty human girl on the streets of Earth you'd still look and now here you are on a planet many light-years from your home in the home of another race and here is a story as old as time, a young man sees a pretty girl and likes what he sees, so just let the guilt go my friend because species doesn't matter," he said.

"Really? Is that really true?" Xao said sounding unsure and that's when his eyes travelled up and suddenly locked onto Ova's and he realised that she had been looking at him the whole time and the crimson red changed to snow-white as he realised she'd caught him looking at her.

"Oh, shit," he said as the massive Beledon girl turned her massive frame to face him and folded her massive rippling arms over her ample chest and raised an eyebrow as she stared at him challengingly.

"Lucky for you yes it is, but let's just hope she thinks so too or this could get real awkward real fast," Jay said swallowing hard.
