Chapter 73: Fallout.
In Intelligence HQ of Clan Mason Comms officer, T'Vren was just settling into the afternoon shift, while he loved being in deep space and did enjoy the periods that he got to spend at home among his brothers and sisters, there was nothing quite like taking an evening walk passed the mighty hives or taking a run through the forests to centre one's mind.
Suddenly his comms panel lit up as it began o receive a quantum relay message, as he began to listen and read T'Vren's mandibles dropped open, "Pauk! Pauk! Pauk! Not again! Why the pauking hell is it always me!?" he yelled jumping from his seat and sprinting the full length of the room while everyone stared at him in shock from their own consoles.
He snapped his key chain once again and slammed the large circular key into its slot and turned it making the panel shoot up, he slammed his palm against the reader, "Authorised user recognised," it said.
"This is Comms officer T'Vren, Dark Star, I say again, Dark Star this is not a drill!" he yelled and the whole place turned into a Xeno hive that just got into a vat of that new healthy energy drink that pumped you full of energy while burning fat that they'd come up with a few weeks back.
He could hear his fellow comms officers barking orders to all the ships in their sectors and relaying the instructions that he'd just input manually into the console on the wall which gave them the received coordinates of the call and the ship that had called it in.
He knew in mere seconds half the fleet would be steaming towards that sector at maximum speed and not long after all but the sector defence ships would be joining them just as soon as the Grand Patriarch and Matriarch got briefed and got underway and speaking of which mere seconds after he'd hit the panel than the door whooshed opened and the Grand Patriarch himself shot into the room with his personal Seeker team all dressed in full combat armour, they had obviously been training when the call came in.
"Report Comms officer T'Vren," the Grand Patriarch said, his helmet splitting apart and retracing to reveal his handsome face and eyes filled with lightning that came to a man no matter how large cower under the weight of their stare.
"The Queen's Heart called in a Dark Star Grand Patriarch, they report that an entire planet of sentient beings is under attack from a species unknown, they have caused a massive ecological disaster with some kind of weapon of mass destruction that has destabilised the planet, they report that the planet is going to tear itself apart under the stresses of what has been done to it and they need the entire navy in order to try and save as many lives as possible before the planet explodes!" T'Vren reported in a slightly panicked but clear voice.
Jack Mason's eyes widened before his handsome features turned into a snarl so chilling that it would freeze the heart of even the bravest battle-hardened veteran.
"Pauking cowards! To attempt to destroy an entire sentient species like that is unforgivable! Whoever these cowards are Clan Mason will hunt them to the very edges of this universe itself for this mark my pauking words, I want every available ship except for the planetary defence ships en route to that system immediately and Contact our allies to see if there are any ships they can spare as well we are going to need everyone we can get!" he yelled so loudly that his voice boomed in the large room and every comms officers started relaying his instructions to the fleet.
A single moment later the door whooshed open and in ran the Grand Matriarch along with both Ryan Mason and Sela eleth Mason, "What is happening my love?" the Grand Matriarch demanded.
"A cowardly attack of monumental proportions my heart, come there is no time to waste I'll explain on the way to the GMF, we have no time to waste and the entire species survival depends upon our swiftness!" he exclaimed and with that, the four of them were off running for the shuttle launch pads.

"What is happening!?" Ova yelled as they ran full sprint down the rapidly disintegrating road.
All around them huge boulders crashed down taking huge chunks out of the stone road and smashing through support pillars with tremendous echoing crashes that boomed off the walls.
"No time to explain just fucking run!" Jay bellowed back from the front of the running group.
Both Ava and Ketra looked at one another, "There is no way we will survive like this we have to do this sister!" Ketra yelled and Ava nodded before the pair turned and stopped both of the humans and dashed forwards at such high speed that the world seemed to slow to an absolute stop all around them.
Before Jay could even understand what in the name of fuck just happened he found himself outside in the freezing cold air with a very confused-looking Xao standing next to him, there were a couple of flashes and suddenly Ova and Pemra appeared next to them looking just as confused as they were.
Moment's later more appeared and then Ketra and Ava brought the final two and the entire team were reunited with Ava and Ketra panenting like crazy and not a moment too sooner with as with a crash that sounded like the roar of an angry God the whole cave and a large section of the mountain that contained it collapsed into the ground causing them all to back away as fast as they could.
"What the hell is happening!?" Ova exclaimed again.
"There was more than one bomb," Xao said sounding both forlorn and slightly panicked and they all turned to look at him.
"More than one?" Ava asked and he nodded.
"They were using them the way I predicted, to try and crack the planet, but because we disarmed one of them it disrupted the energy waves, so instead of them all rebounding off one another and sending a tremendous singular shock wave out in every direction which would have torn the planet into pieces, some of the energy bled into this unaffected area where we were, this lessened the effect quite dramatically but it won't stop it, this planet is still doomed, now it's just a matter of time until the forces that are currently tearing about below our feet from escalating and the whole planet splits wide open, right now all over the planet volcanos will be erupting, tidal waves will be roaring across the oceans heading in land, earthquakes will be happening and that's not to mention what will be happening to those closest to the blast sites," Xao said.
"What do you mean?" Ava asked her voice hard as ice.
"He means those bombs were incredibly powerful but not just in the sheer amount of power they give off when they detonate, right now there will be radiation spewing out everywhere from the gamma bursts that happened upon detonation, though thankfully it's far lower than that of a nuclear bomb but it's still gonna be bad," Jay said.
"I don't understand what you are talking about," Ava said and Ketra's eyes went wide.
"I-I-I do," she said and she walked over to her sister and place a hand on her cheek closing her eyes as she shared Jay's memories with her.
Jay saw the moment Ava realised what they were saying and he saw the maelstrom of emotions that flooded her mind along with the tears that flowed down her cheeks, "o-O-Our home, our beautiful home, those bastards have killed it and what's going to happen to our people!?" she exclaimed her voice filled with fear and pain.
"Unless Clan Mason gets here quickly all the Beledon and us along with them are going to die and even if they do and that is a pretty big fucking if considering they have no way of knowing where we are or what's going on, I highly doubt we will be able to save everyone, evacuating a planet is not an undertaking that anyone has ever done to my knowledge," Jay said forlornly.
"So what do we do now?" Ova asked the pain in her voice obvious as she took hold of Xao and held him to herself for some kind of comfort and the young Asian man clung to her in response.
"Not a lot we can do, just try and reach my people and see what we can do from there," Jay said trying his hardest to try and think of a way out of this, he could only hope and pray that the commander would know what to do and maybe just maybe he'd been able to contact the Clan because right now the Clan was their only hope.
The group decided to run the rest of the way to their destination, it was a hard slog but fortunately, the run through the road of the Old Gods had shaved days off their trip as it had brought them up very near to their destination.
As they ran Jay could already see the effects the destinations were having on the local fauna, as the animals were going crazy, birds were swarming, flying in huge swarms not seeming to know what direction in which to go thanks to the disruption to the planet's magnetic fields throwing their navigation off, mammals great and small were running for cover and Jay could already see the sky darkening because of the ash thrown up by what would be truly gigantic mushroom clouds spreading through the upper atmosphere and blocking out the sun.
It also seemed that the animals weren't the only ones going crazy because as they arrived at the kingdom they arrived at the scene of a full-pitched battle and absolute chaos.
From their side of the valley, they'd run into they could see the massive white castle sitting set into the cliffs ahead of them, carved right out of the mountain itself, below them in the valley were knights fighting and it didn't take Jay long to recognise the black armour of those that had attacked them during the Festival of Flowers.
"What the fuck are they doing here!?" Jay exclaimed and Ava snarled deeply.
"Their lands are to the east of here and they are always trying to take over the lands of others, their lord and lady are power-hungry zealots, they must have used this event as an excuse to attack, not that they need one," she snarled.
"We have to help the people!" Jay exclaimed and that's when he saw it, flashes from atop the battlements of the castle and he instantly recognised them, those were ZRT plasma discharges!
"My people are here, look there!" he yelled pointing just as another series of shots rained down on the attackers though it seemed to be a single shooter and it didn't take Jay long to understand why.
There was a tremendous roar from somewhere to Jay's left and the entire group turned and saw two figures he instantly recognised and he felt his heart saw because right there in the middle of the heart of the combat he saw both S'Call and Kess'all really getting stuck into the attacking knights with a combination of their wrist blade and their plasma casters.
"Who in the name of holy fuck is that!?" Ova exclaimed as she saw the two massive armoured Yautja fighting like a pair of demons a point that was proven a moment later when Kess'all kicked a large male Beledon in the leg breaking his knee before snatching his massive war hammer from his hands and smashing him so hard in the side of the head with it that his helmet crumpled like a tin can before roaring at his falling corpse.
"SAVIOURS ARE THE SHIELD!" Jay bellowed and drawing his sword he began to run full sprint down the side of the valley towards the pair and as his words cut through the chaos of the battlefield both heads snapped up and around to locate the shouter.
"BEHIND WHICH THE INNOCENT ARE SAVED!" commander S'Call bellowed as he saw both Jay and Xao along with their Beledon companions running down the side of the valley towards them raising his wrist blades into the air in a punch of victory as he did.
Jay weaved and dodged between the battling knights pausing in his sprint only long enough to strike at any black armoured knights that he could as he ran making sure that the defending knights dressed in blue and gold saw that they were on their side so they did not mistake them for enemies or mercs.
As Jay slid to a halt on the muddy ground before the commander he was about to salute when he was snatched from the ground by Kess'all who swept him into a massive hug, "You're alive! I told you you he'd make it commander I pauking told you this beautiful ooman was tougher than he looked!" she yelled happily swinging him around in her massive arms.
"Good to see you too Kess'all but you might want to put me down before my wife takes it the wrong way," Jay said and she cocked her head curiously.
"Your what now!?" she exclaimed.
"Place my male on his feet and back away from him before I remove your arms and beat you to death with them you tail lifter!" a deep snarl from their left said and both turned to see Ketra standing there wearing a look of pure thunder on her handsome features.
"Kess'all meet Ketra my wife and also a Dream Warrior of the proud Beledon people, Ketra my beloved meet Kess'all fellow Saviour and over-enthusiastic Yautja girl," Jay said as she slowly placed him down on his feet and he walked over to stand next to her causing Ketra to puff out her chest proudly.
As she was stood there in shock Kess'all's point defence system went off and her casters spun 180 on their gimbals and fired into a pair of black armoured knights charging the group blowing them off their hooves and sending them spinning into their colleges like metal and meat battering rams.
"Well well well, young Jay spends five minutes on alien soil and he goes and gets himself Star hunted, I'm pauking proud of you Saviour but you appear to be out of uniform!" commander S'Call said slapping Jay on the shoulder happily and that seemed to snap Kess'all out of her shock and she nodded her head in agreement.
"Agreed, well done little ooman a real pity you didn't see the light of the Yautja but hey ho your loss and well done on making it back to us I always had faith the Eternal Huntress would guide you back to us," she said.
"Thanks, both, yeah I lost my armour on impact with the planet, long story tell you later, I'm guessing that's Vessi up there shooting down onto the knights?" he said and the commander nodded his head turning just in time to take a Beledon off his feet by slamming his wrist blades up through his chin and out of the top of his head before casting him aside.
"Yeah she'd held the fort," the commander said.
"Is my sister up there too!? Is she ok? Please tell me she's ok!?" Xao yelled suddenly.
Both of the Yautja turned to face him and the commander placed a hand massive armoured hand on his shoulder, "Calm yourself young Xao, you're sister is safe and sound our ship was built to take a beating and while she was wrecked in the crash she did what she was meant to do, she kept those who placed their lives in her hands alive and well, now she is in our care no harm will come to here while one of our numbers still draw breath, Vessi will defend her to her dying breath such is the code of the Saviours and indeed all of Clan Mason," he said.
"Speaking of which have you been able to contact the Clan to alert them commander because I don't know if you know but the situation here has gone straight to hell, the whole planet is going to die and we need to act, now!" Jay exclaimed and the commander turned to face him.
"Why what's happened!?" he exclaimed and both Jay and Xao quickly explained what had just happened.
"Well that explains the massive energy readings we detected not long ago and the sky going dark all of a sudden, it wasn't long after this pauking lot showed up yelling something about how it was the foretold sign from the Dark God that DeathTouch had promised and it was time to strike, they caught the good people here off guard but with our help we have been holding them at bay, speaking of which we need to get back in the fight our allies need us we can focus on saving people after we repel these vile vermin, so care to get your blade wet with the blood of villans and murderers young Saviour?" the commander aid and Jay raised his sword.
"I am a Saviour I will carry the sacred shield upon my chest..." he began hoisting his sword into a combat stance as he turned to face the oncoming black knights and he could positively feel the commander's mandibles draw up into a mighty smile behind his mask as he looked at him.
"...this shield will stand between all who wish murder, rape or harm and those who wish to live in peace..." the commander continued picking up the Saviour oath.
"...I will forever stand as a bastion between the darkness and the light, never wavering, never faltering..." Kess'all joined in joining in and turning so she was facing the enemy as well.
"..While I stand I will hold back the darkness arm in arm with my brothers and sisters, for together we will shield the innocent, we will defend the weak and we will protect the peaceful, this is my oath and my promise for I am a Saviour and I stand tall before the Goddes of the Eternal Hunt herself and declare proudly while I stand no evil shall pass!" they all bellowed together with such passion that jay could see it bolstering both his group and the other knights around them.
But as it turned out the battle was about to take a rather abrupt swing in the favour of the defenders, above them in the sky there were a series of loud booms and flashes causing them all to look up just in time to see a series of flaming streaks punching through the clouds and dust high above them.
That's when the commander's suit radio lit up like a Freedom day tree, which he swiftly put on speaker so the others could hear it, "Spectre crew are you receiving me this is Blue one can you hear me over?" a distinctly Raptorian voice said.
"It's the Clan! The fucking Clan has come for us!" Jay yelled grabbing Ketra and hugging her tightly.
"This is Spectre one, we hear you Blue one and pauking hell is it good to hear your voice, be aware hot LZ I say again hot LZ hostiles wearing black I say again all hostiles wearing black armour currently have us under siege, defenders are wearing white and blue, innocents under direct threat over," the commander said quickly.
"Roger that Spectre one all received and understood, Dark Star I say again Dark Star, a planet-wide attack has been carried out, brace for direct intervention, we have your beacons get fucking low Saviour the fucking Seekers are coming over and out," the Raptorian voice said.
"Holy pauking shit the Queen's Heart must have seen the explosions you were talking about Jay and called in a pauking Dark Star!" Kess'all exclaimed as they watched the streaking flames getting closer.
Jay turned to Ketra who was staring at the sky open-mouthed, "Now you are going to see what Clan Mason is all about hold on to your tail my beloved one this is going to get spicy," he said with a smile.
There was a deafening screech from above them and above their heads four blue shapes whistled down and hit the ground running, the leader of the obvious Seeker team was a small Raptoriansorian by the shape of them and they sprinted full tilt towards them moving so fast they were nought but a series of blue blurs.
"Defend the castle Seekers! There are innocents within those walls!" commander S'Call yelled and immediately the Seekers broke off and headed into the fray which had suddenly resumed as the black ones saw an opportunity to try and take their adversaries' momentary distraction as an advantage but it didn't last long.
"The Seeker team cut right through them like a blue bulldozer, they could see the shapes bouncing from knight to knight felling them with a swiftness that only a Dream Warrior could muster and it wasn't long before the fight royally swung in the defender's favour as diamond-shaped pods began slamming into the ground discharging both gold suited Hunters and blue armoured Saviours.
"WE ARE THE SHIELD BEHIND WHICH THE INNOCENT ARE SAVED!" commander S'Call bellowed and instantly their fellow Saviours broke and moved right towards them throwing up a shield wall between them and the oncoming knights.
That's when Jay saw something completely new entering the fray, from above him there was a loud screech and he looked up expecting to see Battle Angels but what he saw made his mouth fall open.
"Who are they!?" he exclaimed.
"Those are the War Angels, they call themselves the Valkyries and they are fresh out of Queen Ink's hive, we had a squad of them assigned to the Queen's Heart, quite something aren't they?" one of the Saviours forming the shield wall between Jay's group and the battle said as twenty red armoured Xenos shot overhead and landed right in the centre of the battle.
Their armour was a mixture of cherry red and gold arranged to look like dragon scales with large golden wings on their backs that matched the smaller golden wings set along the sides of their helmets.
The group instantly drew Yautja-style war spears and smashed right into the attacking knights with a battle screech so loud it carried right across the field.
That's when there was a massive thunderclap above their head and everyone looked up and once again Jay's mouth fell open, "The captain is landing the fucking Queen's Heart!?" he exclaimed.
"Can you think of a quicker way of getting as many of the locals on board as we can? We need to evacuate a pauking planet, it's a lot quicker than shuttles," another of the Saviours said.
"We have to get to the castle quickly, we have to speak to the king and queen and tell them what is happening!" Kess'all exclaimed and the commander nodded.
"Saviours with me, we are heading to the castle, oh and before I forget, transmitting the Beledon language into the Clan network now, this will patch everyone," he said quickly hitting his wrist comp.
"Yes sir, Saviours defend the commander and his team!" the leader of the Saviour team a Lieutenant by a single bar stripe on his shoulder said.
The team battled their way towards the castle as the massive heavy cruiser descended slowly above them and jay couldn't help but admire the piloting skills of the Saviour at the helm for not only bringing the massive ship into atmo but lining it up so perfectly as to land on this terrain.
"Jay what about our village? We need to warn my lord and my people!" KEtra exclaimed as they ran.
"Don't worry my love I will make sure that no harm comes to them, I will see to it personally that they are retrieved, this is just the beginning trust me, if a Dark Star has been called then right now the entire of Clan Mason is heading here to help you," he said.
"What is a Dark Star?" Ava yelled as they all ran both Saviours and Beledon knights alike cutting down black armoured soldiers as they ran together towards the large white castle on the cliff.
"It is our most sacred oath, it is a promise that once made is never ever broken and cannot be ignored, it is a promise that no matter what the Clan will come for you and either save you or avenge you, it is a cry across the stars that says I defend the innocent with my life but I am falling and if I fall many innocent will perish at the hands of evil, it calls the entire might of Clan Mason to your side to defend not only you but those you protect," Jay said through pants as he ran his heavy plate armour clanking as he did.
"It means the entire might of Clan Mason is about to hit this planet like a gigantic pauking war hammer from the sky and they will go through anyone who tries to stop us!" Kess'all yelled as they ran.
As they reached the massive castle gate which was protected by a large drawbridge and a heavy-looking portcullis a pair of Beledon guards looked from the massive ship to the commander as they approached.
"Knight commander what is happening who are these people and what in the name of the Goddess is that!?" one of the panicked guards yelled pointing at the Queen's Heart.
"My people solider, I said all along they would come for us now they come not only for us but for all of you as well, open the gates I need to speak to the king and queen immediately I have news for their ears which cannot be delayed!" the commander yelled.
"Knight commander?" Jay hissed and the commander shot him a glance.
"Explain later," he said.
"Open the gate the knight commander and his allies returns with news for the king and queen!" the guards yelled up and in perfect sync both large wooden drawbridge lowered and the portcullis raised.
"Quickly now!" the commander yelled as the group charged over the bridge and into the castle courtyard through the massive gates.
Jay's breath was momentarily taken away from him as he saw the contained city that lay beyond the castle walls, it was like something out of one of Vessi's fantasy novels, white stoned houses lay in every direction, seemingly cut out of the cliff side itself, forming spiralling streets that led up to the keep itself high above them.
Straw and animals littered the cobbled stone streets as they ran and Jay very nearly tripped over a flock of what reminded him of chickens well if chickens had four wings and long necks that made them look like a snake anyway.
The little avian creatures squeaked in alarm and fluttered in all directions as they charged right through them, one or two oblivious ones bouncing off the armour of the knights and Saviours and Jay had to stifle a giggle as Kess'all found herself running with a hitchhiker who was now clinging onto her plasma casters as she ran squawking it's disapproval at her as she tried in vain to swat it off before finally managing to grab the frightened little creature.
But rather than throw it she simply tucked the flapping avian under her arm like a rugby ball and ran with it while it tried to peck at her armoured chest.
Finally, they reached the castle and were only barred from entry for a moment until the guards recognised the commander and they let them in, no sooner had they entered the massive hall beyond than Jay was hit square in the chest by a flying screeching shape.
"You're alive! Oh, thank the goddess!" Vessi yelled happily and Jay once again hear Ketra snarl from his left.
"I am Vessi and it's good to see you too, I'd like to introduce you to my wife but right now we have to speak to the king and queen, the Clan triggered a Dark Star," Jay said hurridly but before Vessi could say a word of response there was another screech only this sone was more human.
"Brother you're alive!" Yu Lin yelled and threw her arms around her brother's neck.
Xao picked her up and swung her around, "Oh thank you God thank you, my sister is alive!" he yelled and then out of nowhere he turned and hugged Vessi as well who was rather startled by the young human's embrace.
"And thank you for protecting her," he said raw emotion permeating his voice.
"Y-You are welcome xao but that's what Saviours do, we defend the innocent, so there really is no need for thanks," she said softly.
"This is the sister you spoke of my beloved male?" Ova said looking down at Yu Lin who looked up at the massive Beledon knight in surprise.
"B-Beloved male?" she exclaimed and Ova smiled at her and nodded.
"Your brother is my mate for life, I swear this before you as his kin he is loved and defended at my side, always," Ova said bowing politely to the young Asian woman.
"It seems we have a lot of catching up to do dear brother," Yu Lin said shooting an odd smile between the pair and Xao rubbed the back of his head and chuckled softly.
"Somewhat yeah," he said.
"Later oomans, for now, we have to speak to the king and queen and we cannot afford to waste time!" the commander said.
"This way I know where they are follow me!" Vessi exclaimed taking off at speed through the polished white stoned hall heading along a plush red and blue carpet up towards another room that contained a massive banquet hall and right at the head of it an air of thrones atop which sat a pair of Beledons in full plate armour of the brightest gold and silver.
"Ahh Knight commander you return from the field of battle, with good tidings I hope and maybe you can put play to these odd reports we keep getting of flying soldiers who look like you falling from the sky along with some kind of gigantic skyship?" the king said in a voice like rolling gravel.
"My good king the reports are true, as I told you when we first arrived in your fair lands that once my people found out where we were they would come for us, now they are here as is my missing comrade and he brings with him tidings most foul but I implore you to listen to him my good ing for the fate of not you your people but of all Beledon hangs on his words," the commander said bowing and speaking with unusual eloquence.
"Very well you have never led me astray my good knight commander have him step forwards and be known," the king said.
Jay took his cue and stepped forwards bowing as he did along with Ketra and Ava, "Ahh you must be the lost human that our good knight commander spoke of and it seems that you have brought Blessed Knights with you, greeting sisters," the king said and that's when jay noticed the faint shimmer from him, he too was a Dream Warrior like them.
"Greetings good king and the knight commander indeed speaks true, we come bearing both bad tidings and also a lifeline but you must act quickly because the fate of your entire people lives upon your next decision," Jay said and the king's brow furrowed darkly.
"Explain yourself young human, were I any other monarch I may interpret your words as a threat against my kingdom," he said.
"Please forgive my beloved one good king he means no offence with his choice of words he merely wishes to convey the desperate situation that we now find ourselves in, an evil most vile has been enacted upon our people and if we do not act all Beledons everywhere will die," Ketra said.
"Explain yourself, sister," the king said and Ketra nodded.
"Rather than tell you with words please good king let me show you the pure truth the way only one of our kind can," she said and the king and queen glanced at one another before the king stood up and walked to her standing a good foot taller than even her.
He reached out and took hold of her head in his hands his eyes flickering as he connected himself to her mind, they stayed connected for only a few moments before the king released her and stepped back his eyes wide now and fearful.
It was obvious he was trying to understand what he was seeing and immediately he turned and stepped up to Jay, "If you will indulge me young one," he said and Jay nodded his consent allowing the king to grab is his head and walk among his memories and it didn't take him long to truly understand what was happening and what was about to happen if they didn't act.
"B-B-By the Gods above, t-t-they've killed our beloved home!" the king exclaimed stepping back from Jay with a very obvious stagger to his step causing his queen to rush forwards to hold him up.
"What is it, my love? What did you see?" she exclaimed.
"I saw the end of days, my love, I saw the end of days, pure evil has killed our beautiful home," he said and he turned to the commander with a look of desperation plastered upon his features.
"Is there nothing we can do to stop this? Can we not save our home?" he asked with his voice mirroring the desperation in his eyes.
The commander shook his head, "No good king I'm afraid not, evil has struck deep and hard here, this act of supreme cowardice has doomed this beautiful planet and all we can do now is an act so that it does not take its wonderful people with it, but we must act my king and act fast but I swear this to you, good king, this act will not go unpunished as a member of Clan Mason I give you my word of honour that this act will be not be forgotten and vengeance will be sought for it, but now we must act to save your people and Clan MAson stand ready to assist," the commander said.
The king looked around his throne room and his beloved home and sighed heavily, Jay saw the tears in his eyes glistening in the candlelight, before he could speak some of his knights rushed in from outside and they had the Seekers ed by the little Raptorian with them.
"Please forgive the intrusion my lord but the battle is won, the warriors from the skyship have routed the vile invaders and what they have left flee the field like the cowards that they are," one of the knights said joyfully but he then froze as he saw his kings face.
"My lord? What has happened?" he asked as the king turned to one of his commanders.
"Give the order to evacuate the city and the kingdom, I will not let my people fall to this vileness," he said then he turned to commander S'Call.
"Will your people give us sanctuary good knight commander?" he asked and the commander nodded.
"Of course, the good king that is why my people are here and trust me more will follow where we lead," he said and as if on cue a voice came through the commander's comms which he quickly switched to the outer speakers for all to hear.
"To all Clan, Mason call signs on the ground and in the air the Grand Matriarch's Fury is on station, the Grand Matriarch and Patriarch are orbital dropping onto the planet along with Matriarch Sela eleth Mason and Patriarch Ryan Mason, both the Hive's Wrath and the Mason's Might are twenty minutes out and they have the remainder of the fleet with them, both our Raptorian and Serpentinus allies are also sending ships of their own to aid in the evacuation so let's get these people moving we are running out of time, Queen's Heart over and out," the captain of the Queen's Heart said and the king looked at the commander in amazement.
"Our leaders are here to help good king and you are about to see what Clan Mason truly stands for, do not fear we will save your people, every last one of them, you have my word," he said.
That's when the doors to the chamber burst open and in walked four figures that were instantly recognisable to any Clan Member no matter who they were, the Grand Matriarch and Patriarch decked out in full battle armour along with their two cubs strode with authority and confidence towards them, all four of them armed to the teeth and standing as living symbols of the power of Clan Mason, for there was no battlefield on which these four would not set foot and stand shoulder to shoulder with their soldiers and every Clan member knew it.
"Strength through unity!" all of the Clan members present yelled in unison punching the air as they did being led by the little Raptorian Seeker, it was time to show the Beledons what true unity was all about.
