Blood was splattered on the king of science's face. It wasn't the first time this has happen before as he has been shot in the past.

But with this man, it something he didn't want to see. Something he never wanted to see.

"T-Taiju-kun?" Yuzuriha's hand reach out trying to touch Taiju's cheek. Taiju closed his his eyes and coughed out blood.

"B-Big…oaf?" Senku mumbled.

"Haha." The brown hair man, who had his arms in the air from protecting both his best friend and love interest, started to fall over. They looked at his chest and noticed at the shot wound that he received as he protected them.

"Taiju-kun!" Yuzuriha along with Senku caught him in their arms. Blood was leaking on her outfit that Taiju made for her. They stared and saw the he took three gun shoots trapped in his chest.

"Big oaf! Hang in there!"

"Haha….Yuzuriha...Senku..." Taiju breathed. "I don't….know…..how much time….I have….But I want to tell you something Senk-"

"No! Hell no! You are not dying on us!" Senku took ahold of his arms lifting his arms. "Come on Yuzuriha!"

"Yeah!" Yuzuriha lifted Taiju up as they carried him on their ship.

"Luna!" Senku called out her name.

"Senku!" Luna was in another room. "What's up?"

"Taiju's hurt! Can you please help him?!" Yuzuriha called out to her. "Please!"

"Taiju?" Luna stood up to look at him. "Why not petrified him? Or why not put him back to into stone and revive him by using the revival fluid?"

"Because we don't have any on us at the moment! Please…just help him?" Senku asked.

"I can…but…" Luna hesitated.

"There's no time to explain! Can you please help him." Senku placed Taiju on the bed.

"You got it!" Luna got her medical tools and started to operate on him.

Yuzuriha held her hands together, as she waited outside the medical room along with Senku.

"Don't worry….That big oaf won't die on us like that. He is stronger than that."

"I know…" Yuzuriha prayed. "I hope you are right, Senku."

Hours later, and Luna finally stepped out from the medical room. Senku and Yuzuriha, who hadn't left since, got up from the chair. They stared at the pink hair girl, waiting for news on his condition.

"It's not good." She looked down at the floor. "Getting that many shots wounds, should have killed him. But because he is so strong, he is doing okay for now…but that's not for sure that he will survive this. Let's just let him rest and see what happens okay?"

"…" Both of Taiju's friends remained silent hearing the news. Yuzuriha had a grim look on her face.

"I'm sorry, Senku." Luna apologized. "I wish I can do more."

"No…You did what you can. Let's hope that big oaf can make it through this."

"I hope so." Luna spoked. "I hope so."

A day had pass, and Senku and Yuzuriha wanted to check in Taiju's condition.

"Luna." Yuzuriha saw Luna in her room. "Can we see how Taiju doing?"

"Of course!" Luna answered as she got up from her chair as she guided them to the room. When she opened the door they were left with quite a surprise.

"Taiju?" Luna spoke.

"Where's Taiju?" Senku looked around in the room and no one was there.

"Huh. I don't know." Luna answered. "He should been here."

"Where could have he could gone?" Yuzuriha was worried. "He was still badly injured!"

"Let's look for him." Senku turned around as he left the room. Luna and Yuzuriha nodded with a determined expression on their face as they went their leader to find their companion.

As the search the ship, they could find nothing. They asked all their crewmates if they have seen the brunette and unfortunately, no one has seen him. They didn't want to cause too much of an issue or alarm if Taiju was really okay. But it only grew a bit more worrying to Senku and Yuzuriha.

Day turned into night and Senku decided to go near the end of the boat. When he did, he found his other companion, Gen. They're mostly together when it comes to planning things, since he joined the crew. They were somehow quite similar, as Senku could talk to him about things, more than most people on the crew and Gen could understand him. They also could be very wicked duo in scariness and as a strength. Of course Senku got along with other people on the crew different and uniquely. However with Gen, they respected each other deeply.

"Yo, Gen."Senku waved to his companion. Gen jumped hearing his name.

"O-oh…Hi Senku. What's up?" Gen turned a bit to see Senku before turning back.

Hmm? What's up with him? Senku wondered.

"I'm looking for Taiju. Have you seen him around anywhere?"

"Oh! Taiju? No, I haven't se-seen him anywhere! Why are you asking? Is he gone?!" Gen stuttered as he hovered behind Senku.

"Geeeen…" Senku stared at his partner. "Are you hiding something?" He been with him too long to not notice that he was acting weird. He couldn't hid anything from the king of science.

"N-No….What makes you say that." The prankster turn away, trying to not give himself away.

"There's no use in hiding something from me." Senku put his finger in his ears as a habit. "Just spill the beans already."

"But….I can't…"

"Gen….If you don't tell me." Senku grab some materials putting them in front of his comrade. "I'll put you to work on making this." A wicked smile came from the king the science, laughing, almost sounding like villan.

"Not…that." The prankster started to get tears coming from his face as he hated hard labor, like Senku.

"Okay fine….I'll tell you…" He sighed. "But you didn't hear this from me."

"…"

"Taiju…left..." Gen answered. "He made a mini boat that he fixed up, at decided to leave, informing me to not tell you or Yuzuriha about it. Or just to think that he died."

Senku listened to his explanation and felt confused than ever. Like Why? Why would he need to do that? Is that man truly an idiot or something? Like what in the world?! And not say a damn word to me or Yuzuriha?! Is he trying to kill himself, or Kill me?! I'm seriously going to kill that moron if it the last thing I do!

"I'm sorry, Senku." Gen apologized. "Taiju…told me to not tell you."

"Damn!" Senku thought it through carefully on what he should do.

"Senku?" Gen watch as Senku got up and started to get on of the hot air balloons that he kept for a while now.

"Gen! I leaving you and Ryusui in charge with the crew! I'm going to be back as fast as I can."

"You are going to go after him aren't you?" Gen asked. "You can't force him to come back. Do you even know where he is?"

"I got a hunch." Senku smirked. "That idiot thinks he can get away from me, does he?" Gen could see the evil yet angry face that his friend was making.

"Are you going to bring him back?" Gen asked.

"It's his choice. I can't do anything, if he doesn't want to…That's not my thing." Senku looked into the horizon as he almost finish getting the balloon ready. "But…that doesn't mean…I'm going to give up…I'm just want to talk to him…"

"Hmm. I see." Gen closed his eyes and smiled towards his comrade. "Be careful."

"Senku!" A voiced called from behind. Gen and the king of science turned around and noticed a figure was standing before.

"Yuzuriha…"

"You going after him, aren't you? After Taiju?"

"Yeah…"

"Go get him, Senku…I believe in you." Senku looked at the girl making a gentle smile toward him.

"I will." The crimson eye boy promised. Yuzuriha held her hands together and nodded, knowing that Senku would keep his promise as he hopped into the balloon and descend into the sky. "Bring him home."

That idiot! Senku clenched his teeth as he was up in the air. It didn't take him long to figure out what direction he need to go. For once, he really want to kick that boy for leaving them without saying a word.

That freaking idiot!

AN: Hello everyone! I've seen a few reviews on the last few fanfics of Taiju and Senku. It really made me smile and motivated to write more.

I've actually been wanting to write a pairing with these two characters. I've seen quite a bit with Gen and Senku (The main BL Pairing that everyone really likes) And a little of Senku and Tsukasa. (I've haven't read to much pass the anime but I can see why)There's not many comic or illustrations of these two, but the few I did find, I enjoy. Lol, I usually like the underrated shippings apparently. Of course Senku doesn't seem like the type to character that will or is in love with anyone. Maybe Kohaku? It's more like he's in love with Science then anything else. But who knows.

I don't why but I really enjoy these two very much. I did a bit a research to write this story as I tried to keep the characters as themselves. I
