A/N: Hey guys! Back with something sweet this time! Hope you like it!

Annabeth Chase is the ship that rolls into his waters, a force strong enough to cut through the harsh current that makes up his mind.

It's so subtle that he doesn't even notice it at first, going about his life as planned, until he realizes that he's unintentionally been bending to her wind.

He glances over at her, peering from the top of his book to take in her golden hair shining in the sunlight as she reads and wonders if she knows what she's done.

"What's up?" she asks, never taking her eyes off her book. He has no idea how she caught him looking without meeting his eyes but it's right then he decides that she absolutely knows what she's doing.

When he doesn't respond, she actually does look up, eyes bright with a warmth that he can't help but melt in a little.

"You okay?"

Is he? He's not entirely sure, this revelation is…unexpected to say the least. When did she become such a huge part of his life? He can't even recall it if he wanted to, but one day she wasn't there and the next she's settled herself between the pages of the book of his life.

"Wanna get a drink? Some coffee?" she suggests at his continued silence.

He nods because she's already starting to get up. And with an excited smile, she grabs his hand and drags him to the nearest coffee shop. He's happy to follow.

-.-

They've climbed up the hill with their drinks in hand and he's never found an iced latte more refreshing than right now.

It's not a huge hill, but it's significant enough to overlook the entire park. He spots the tree they'd been sitting by before their coffee adventure.

Now that he's above it, there's a sense of power. Over what though, he's not sure.

Annabeth makes a sweeping gesture with her hand over the view in front of them. He's not sure exactly what she means by it but with the sun directly behind her she looks like a queen.

Her eyes dance in amusement when she asks, "queen of what?"

His answer sounds exactly like the kind of thing you'd say when you didn't mean to say something out loud. "Um…nothing, I guess."

Despite his abysmal answer, she smiles. "Then you can be the king of nothing."

He wonders if she had meant to put them side by side like that and one look at her face gives him his answer. He should have known.

Smiling back, he turns back towards the view in front of them. Two people, the royalty of absolutely nothing at all just looking at some random park in some small part of the world.

And yet, it's everything.

"Let's keep reading over here," Annabeth suggests, breaking him out of his thoughts. She walks a few steps to the right and he follows behind, plopping down beside her once she finds a spot suitable enough.

It's silent save for the sounds of the birds and the wind carrying the chatter of the people further down. But it's comfortable, like they don't need to say anything to let their thoughts and feelings known. He can tell in the way she'll look up from her book every now and again to smile, or in the way her arm brush against his.

He really should have known before, it's a pretty open-shut case.

She sets down her book after a while, looking up at him through those pretty eyelashes and suggesting they get food.

He's not super hungry, but he could go for something, so he nods in agreement.

Then again, he thinks, as she smiles widely and leads the way, he'll follow her wherever she strays.

A/N: I really am going to make it through her album at this rate lol If it wasn't apparent this was based off of willow by Taylor Swift and I wanted to do a role reversal and show it from the guy's point of view. I hope you guys liked it!

Please Review! I'd love to hear your thoughts!

And as always, thanks for reading!

See ya! :)
