Hey. Here's the revamped version of Welcome Home. My OCs are dead. D-E-A-D. dead. Be happy.

Sirius let the blast of magic come. Bella wasn't going to win this time. Sirius would not let Bella win. As it neared him, Sirius laughed. He laughed and laughed and laughed. After all the pain she had caused, all the times she had stood over him, this time he had won. She would know in her heart that he had won. Because he had just stood there. And laughed.

He laughed for the boy Reg had been, Cissa's young innocence, Bella's old rare smiles, Andie's fierce defiance. He laughed for James' insane obsessive love for Lily, for Peter's childish smiles before the corruption, for Remus' stubborn refusal of the Wolf. He laughed for Lily's carefree laugh, for young Harry's complete trust in everything. Sirius laughed, because Bellatrix had lost. His eyes met Bella's. A silent conversation took place.

You see Sirius, I am better.

No Bella, I am. I won. Don't you get it cousin?

How could you have one? I have taken away everything you cared for! Your best friends, and now your godson! How have I lost?

Because you had no control of what you just did Bella. I could have stopped it. But I didn't, so I have won. Remus knows that, and someday he will tell Harry that. You have given me everything back- James, Lily, Reg… I have everything back. You lost Bella.

Sirius' eyes widened as the spell hit him. He smirked. So this was what death felt like. He fell back. The curtain fluttered around him. He understood the whispers.

"Come home, come home" All in the voices of those he cared about. He was falling. Just falling. He saw the curtain far above him, glowing white around the edges.

With a thump, he landed on hard ground.

"Oof" he said, landing on the grass. A familiar laugh sounded above him.

"Welcome home Padfoot" Came the well known voice of his best friend.

"Hey James."

"Nice to have you back."

"You too."

Hope you like this version. It's somewhat better than the last.
