Marinette's eyelids twitched, and somewhere deep inside a voice told her that this wasn't the right path, but she pushed it away with vengeance, mentally squashing the voice until it died. The anger in her soul bubbled to the surface, stronger than ever.

"Princess Justice, I am Hawk Moth." At the sound of the voice, Marinette's fist clenched. She hated him too, just as much as that cursed Lila Rossi, if not more. He had caused so much chaos and destruction to her life, and he deserved . . . justice. "I give you the power to reveal the truth," Hawk Moth continued. "All I ask for return is Ladybug and Cat Noir's miraculouses."

Marinette's fingers lifted to her earrings, but she stopped herself before they made contact. Not yet, not yet. She had work to do first.

"Yes, Hawk Moth," Marinette whispered. The rest of her hatred overcame her senses, and she reveled in it, feeling Hawk Moth's power change her into something else, something more powerful than the scared girl she had always been. It was like when she transformed into Ladybug, only better, with less restraints. She wished it had always been like this.

Princess Justice pivoted in the bathroom, staring into the mirror. Her shiny black hair had lengthened and now floated around her face in a non-existent breeze. She wore a blue dress reminiscent of an ancient Greek tunic and a white sash cinched around her waist. A white cloth covered her eyes, knotting at the side of her head. Her lips were a bright red, and they twisted up at the sight of her reflection.

Princess Justice adjusted her gold tiara and gripped her golden staff hard in her hands. She examined it for a moment, somehow knowing exactly how to use it. Raising her arm, she concentrated for a moment. After a moment, the stalls behind her crumbled in on themselves with the loud screeching of metal against stone.

Turning around to survey the destruction, Princess Justice grinned wide. She closed her eyes, envisioning the look on Lila's face when she saw what the princess had in store for her. It was time for justice to prevail, long past time.

Princess Justice lifted her staff and blasted through the wall that led into the courtyard of the school. Screams echoed as everyone turned to face her, and dust flew into the air before settling on the faces of her frightened classmates.

Instantly, she caught sight of her target, and she smiled coldly as she walked across the courtyard, barely noticing how the students scrambled to get out of her way. Princess Justice stopped in front of Lila Rossi, tapping her staff into her left palm.

"What are you supposed to be, some kind of blind girl?" Lila asked, grinning at Alya, who stood next to her. Princess Justice's eyes darted to Alya, who was clutching her necklace: the miraculous Ladybug had entrusted her with. The princess would have to do something about that little mistake.

The princess' attention snapped back to Lila when the girl stuck her tongue out at her. "I bet you she can't even see anything." Lila rolled her eyes and twisted her hair around her finger as she rocked back onto her heels. "Hawk Moth really needs to pick better supervillains," she muttered. It was so low Alya couldn't hear it, but Princess Justice's enhanced hearing picked it up easily.

Princess Justice grabbed Lila's shirt and lifted her off the ground, bringing her staff to rest on the girl's neck. "What would you know about Hawk Moth and his villains?" she whispered.

Lila's eyes widened for a moment before she smirked and look away. "You won't last long. Ladybug will be here any second, along with her little pet."

Princess' Justice's face twitched at the slight. "You're the pet, you insolent girl." She took a breath to calm herself. She couldn't lose her temper just yet. "Why don't you tell everyone what you did to Marinette Dupain-Cheng?"

"I didn't do anything to the girl. She's the one who stole my stuff and pushed me down the stairs." Lila tossed her head back in disgust.

Her fingers tightening on Lila's throat, Princess Justice had to resist the urge to strangle the girl on the spot. "Lila Rossi, I command you to tell the truth." The end of her staff glowed, and Lila winced as her skin absorbed the golden light.

"I lied about Marinette. She never did any of those things to me. I framed her because I told her I'd ruin her life if she didn't back away from Adrien and pretend like she believed my lies. I wanted to ruin her life, and I succeeded." Lila smirked. "I always keep my promises."

"Lila?" Alya asked, and Princess Justice turned to face her, waiting. "You lied?" Her eyes widened, and she looked toward the classroom where Marinette broken down in tears just minutes earlier. "And I believed you—I'm a terrible friend." Her hand dropped from her necklace, and she stepped back, stricken.

Princess Justice smirked and threw Lila across the room, not interested in her after her confession. The girl hit the wall hard and slid to the ground, knocked out cold.

"Oh, Alya, Alya, Alya." Princess Justice shook her head as she walked closer. "In truth, you are a terrible friend, and I've got a special fate planned for you."

Alya's eyes widened as she watched the princess walking toward her, and she backed away, glancing around for an exit. But she couldn't run anywhere that Princess Justice wouldn't find her. She would have to transform in front of her if she wanted to get away. Princess Justice smirked at the thought.

"Why me?" Alya finally eked out. "I haven't done anything to you."

Princess Justice laughed. "Justice doesn't discriminate," she said before blasting her once best friend into the wall behind her with her abilities. "I will enjoy this," she growled, readying her staff.

A blur of black darted across her vision, and Princess Justice found herself plummeting to the ground. Her head smacked into the ground, but it didn't hurt. She pulled herself to her feet, smirking at Alya's rescuer.

"Cat Noir," Princess Justice whispered. "Always the hero."

"Alya, run!" Cat Noir yelled. "I'll hold her off until Ladybug gets here!"
