Cat Noir stumbled backward, his eyes wide, and Princess Justice knew he understood the significance of what she'd just done.

Pride swelled in her chest. She hadn't been certain cutting Hawk Moth off would work, but with the power of three miraculouses, she shouldn't have worried. Perhaps revealing her identity to him wasn't a good idea, but what could he truly do about it? His powers would no longer work as his akuma was now trapped in her earring with no way to escape, and the peacock miraculous was still broken. Even if Mayura decided to risk using it, Princess Justice would defeat her without batting an eye.

Cat Noir's miraculous beeped, and he looked down at it, still reeling in shock.

"Cat Noir, you're about to transform back," she reminded him, not certain he understood what that meant anymore.

"You—" Cat Noir stopped and shook his head.

"I cut Hawk Moth off," she replied, twirling her staff as she had seen him do many times before. It was fun. Everything seemed lighter now, with Hawk Moth's presence gone. She almost wished she had cut him off sooner, but she had needed the fox and turtle miraculous to be certain she would triumph over Hawk Moth.

"I . . . I didn't know that was possible," Cat Noir whispered. "I mean, I knew you could de-akumatize yourself, but to retain your powers . . ." He paused, probably considering all the villains they had fought in the past. "It's incredible."

"I didn't know it would work either." She shrugged and smiled gently. "Cat Noir, you need to leave. Let your kwami recover. We will meet later tonight at the Eiffel Tower."

Cat Noir blinked. "Don't you want my miraculous?"

Princess Justice laughed. "No, of course not. That's Hawk Moth's thing. Truthfully, I need your help."

"What do you need my help with?" Cat Noir raised one of his eyebrows, his fingers tapping his staff urgently. Princess Justice noticed he just had one minute left before he de-transformed. "You're powerful enough to do anything without my help."

"Maybe you're right, but I don't want to." That was the way it had always been. Ladybug could've saved Paris alone, but it was better with Cat Noir by her side. Even though she was akumatized, Princess Justice wouldn't give up her partner for anything.

Cat Noir blinked and took a step back, glancing at his ring. Finally. He had to realize he must leave. "Why would I help you? You're technically the bad guy."

Princess Justice rolled her eyes. "I think we both know you don't believe that." She grinned. "Meet me at the Eiffel tower, and I'll tell you everything."

Cat Noir's miraculous beeped, and he started. "Fine. I'll see you then, Princess." He vaulted away on his stick, and Princess Justice waited for a few moments to be certain he was gone.

After a minute had passed, Princess Justice raised her staff, parting the rubble as she made her way to where she had trapped Lila. The girl had been unconscious, but you never knew what she would do, and the princess thought it prudent to make sure she was still around when she finished with the super heroes. It wouldn't have been difficult to track the girl down, but Princess Justice didn't have the patience for such games.

The rubble floated to the side and revealed Lila still lying prostrate on the ground. Her eyes blinked open lazily, still hazy from being knocked around by Princess Justice's magic.

The Princess yanked Lila off her feet by the front of her shirt roughly, shaking her for good measure.

"Ah!" Lila yelped, her eyes focusing on Princess Justice. "What do you want from me?" she cried, tears welling in her eyes.

"Save the water-works. You and I both know you aren't some helpless victim," Princess Justice snarled, the urge to slap the girl almost overcoming her.

Lila smirked, her eyes completely dry once more. "Fine. What do you want?"

Princess Justice smirked. "Lila Rossi, who is Hawk Moth?"
