Princess Justice fell to the ground, her body shaking. The power of four miraculouses and Hawk Moth's akuma flowed through her veins, and her heartbeat echoed loud in her ears, almost drowning out her thoughts.
"Marinette!" she heard Adrien yell. He grabbed her arms and tried to pull her closer to him.
Quickly, before he could take any of her miraculouses, she stood up, fighting the urge to vomit. "Stay back," she commanded. She blinked. Her voice sounded distorted, as if several people were speaking at the same time.
"Marinette, please." Adrien gazed up at her from where he still knelt on the ground. "You're going to get hurt."
She shook her head. "No. I have wielded the miraculouses together before, and I will do it again."
"You've combined the powers of creation and destruction!" Adrien stood, his hands clenching into fists at his side. "They're the two that cannot mix!"
"I shall not make a wish," she assured him as she held out her arms and looked at them. It was strange to see the four colors of the miraculouses blended together. She checked her weapons. She had her staff in her hand, Cat's staff across her waist, Rena's flute slung across her back, Carapace's shield over her left arm, and Ladybug's yo yo around her hips. Interesting.
"Marinette, I beg you, please let me hold at least one of them. It doesn't even have to be mine. I can hold the Ladybug miraculous for you. Let me help." Adrien stepped forward, but she held up a hand to stop him.
"No, Adrien. You will stay here, where it is safe." She turned away from him and jumped onto the railing of the Eiffel Tower. "I will retrieve your father's miraculous. Do not worry, I will leave him unharmed."
"I'm not worried about him, I'm worried about you." Adrien lunged forward and grabbed onto her wrist. "Marinette, please," he begged, his green eyes wide as he tried to convince her.
She gently retrieved her wrist from his grasp. "I am Queen Justice," she told him before she jumped off the tower and swung away.
She practiced with the different tools as she traveled to the Agreste Mansion. It was most comfortable for her to use Ladybug's yo yo, but she was satisfied with her use of the other three. It would be enough.
She landed quietly next to the Agreste house, glancing around to make sure no one had seen her. She circled the property, not sure where Hawk Moth would keep his secret lair.
But there it was. The window that had the design of a moth upon it.
It's a miracle we didn't discover him before, she thought ruefully. It was right there. She jumped onto the fence and threw her yo yo through the window, shattering it. Jumping through, she readied herself for an attack.
Nothing happened, and she straightened, glancing around the dark room. White butterflies floated everywhere, and her eyebrows raised at the sight. Hawk Moth must be breeding butterflies for his powers.
"Hawk Moth, come out come out wherever you are!" she yelled. She hesitated for a moment, listening, but no one came running.
"Fine," she muttered. "I'll draw them out myself. Cataclysm!" A stream of black formed in her hand, and she aimed it at the wall. The flow of magic struck the wall and exploded through it, causing the whole building to shake. Queen Justice smiled as crack formed through the walls and ceilings.
Through the hole, she could see into the interior of the Agrestes' home. Within moments, the sound of pounding feet reached her, and she smiled.
Gabriel Agreste and his assistant, Nathalie, arrived, both of them panting.
"What is the meaning of this?" Gabriel asked, his voice booming through the space.
"Cut the act," Queen Justice hooked her yo yo onto her belt and raised her staff. "Tell the truth!" she commanded, aiming her magic at him. It struck him before he had the chance to even think about moving out of the way, and he froze, eyes wide.
Queen Justice unhooked the yo yo from her waist and began recording the shocked man. "Now, Gabriel Agreste, who is Hawk Moth and who is Mayura?"
"I am Hawk Moth, and my assistant Nathalie is Mayura," Gabriel Agreste admitted, and he and Nathalie exchanged a glance.
"Very nice, good show," Queen Justice said as she sent the video to Nadja, a news reporter. She would get it out to all of Paris in no time. Gabriel and Nathalie wouldn't be able to hide from the police.
"Now that the whole world knows who you are, give me your miraculous." Queen Justice extended her hand.
The two villains looked at each other for a moment before they both charged forward in an attempt to knock the girl down.
Queen Justice rolled her eyes. She had known this was going to happen. They were as foolhardy and stubborn as always. She jumped into the air, twisting around midair. "Cataclysm!" she commanded once again, this time aiming her shot at the floor. The two villains stumbled through the crumbling floor, suddenly in a free fall.
Queen Justice caught herself on the side of the room with Cat's staff and swung her yo yo in the villains' direction, catching them mid-air and halting them in their tracks. The two squirmed, but they were trapped. The yo you was unbreakable, and Queen Justice had no need to remove it, as she had many other weapons at her disposal.
Queen Justice anchored the yo yo with Carapace's shield, wedging the disk deep into the cracked walls of the room. She let go of both the yo yo and the shield, leaving the two villains dangling in the hole her cataclysm had created.
"It certainly is a wonder either of you managed to evade capture this long," Queen Justice said as she extended Cat's staff and walked leisurely toward the two, balancing mindlessly, just like Cat Noir had always done. "You really are just a bunch of idiots." With a smooth motion, she plucked the moth and peacock miraculous from both of their shirts and pinned them on herself.
"Well, it's been fun, but the police are on their way." Right on cue, the police sirens started outside. "Bonsoir." Queen Justice smirked as she vaulted her way to the roof. Once there, she surveyed the area. News stations had already set up around the Agreste Mansion, and police officers pulled into the neighborhood in the next moment, abandoning their cars as they rushed into the house.
Queen Justice straightened. "Excellent," she said as she took a deep breath. There were only a few things left to figure out. "Nooroo, Duusu, unify!" she exclaimed.
The transformation was brief, but it overwhelmed her senses, and she fell to the ground. This time, it took more effort to stand. She let the cane and the fan drop to the ground. She didn't need either of them.
"Who's that on the roof!" someone yelled, and she turned to face the news crowd just as a huge spotlight lit upon her.
Queen Justice straightened, the action taking her breath away from her. "I am Queen Justice," she proclaimed.
The ground went silent before someone asked, "Are you an akumatized villain?"
She shook her head. "Far from it," she said. "I am your newest protector. I have claimed six miraculouses and will claim many more. I will keep Paris safe and ensure Justice for all." She grinned, despite the sweat trickling down her back. Why were these two newest miraculouses so hard to control?
"Where is Ladybug?" she heard someone ask.
"I am Ladybug!" Queen Justice proclaimed. "For far too long I have allowed weakness to hold me back, but no longer! I am now Queen Justice, and I claim rule over this city. Justice shall reign!" Queen Justice took a deep breath. "Once I have claimed every miraculous, I will cast a spell over this city. Under my rule, no one shall lie, cheat, or steal. We will have utopia!"
Out of the corner of her eye, blond hair caught her attention, and she turned her head to see Adrien staring at her, his pale skin even lighter than normal as his hair fluttered in the wind. Her heart stuttered at the sight, and she had to remind herself that he was Cat Noir, the most annoying person she had ever met.
"Until then, my loyal subjects," Queen Justice promised, and she jumped off the building, heading straight for Adrien.
