...

The Flash Step, thankfully, had taken me right outside the captain commotion, on top of a building in...

The sixth squad barracks.

You're like a cheat sheet.

For common sense? You really should know Seireitei's structure by now.

Ignoring that, I idly gazed around Byakuya's home turf, taking in the damaged buildings before my gaze landed upwards to the air, my eyes widening the slightest as I took said captain himself in a blade lock with red samurai.

"Captain Aizen-" Hitsugaya's voice echoed out from beside me as the shorter captain landed nearby. Turning towards him, I greeted him with a grin.

"I am getting a statue!"

No, you're not-

Hitsugaya blinked in confusion before his gaze landed upwards and his eyes narrowed.

Not wasting another second, I flash stepped into the air, my right fist pulled back before I crashed it onto Senbonzakura's mask, causing the zanpakuto' spirit to go flying upwards.

Byakuya turned a bewildered look towards me as he let out a breath, the tension in his arms steadily dropping as he blinked once.

"Aizen-"

"Don't mind me," I snorted, pulling my hands upwards into a fist as Aizen held my position in the air using airstep. "Just getting rid of the mind control." And promptly flash stepped behind the still flying spirit- Just before the volleyball spirit could be spiked, unfortunately, Senbonzakura's form dissipated into petals that left me hands to go through them harmlessly, said thousands of pink petals reforming behind me as I quickly turned around.

"This doesn't concern-"

I pulled a fist back, causing the spirit to startle briefly at my interruptions, and promptly covered it in reiatsu as I made to punch through, his form once again disappearing into petals as my fist went through harmlessly, the built-up reiatsu dispersing outwards.

Thanks to the sudden ping in my peripheral, I promptly ducked my head and raised a single hand to grab hold of the sudden blade attacking the left side of my head, Senbonzakura's form reforming right beside me, a snarl echoing out of his tone.

Briefly feeling the sudden surge of reiatsu that travelled down my arm and into the sword itself, I held said blade in vice-lock.

"This is between me and that travesty of a warrior!" Senbonzakura roared in irritation.

I rolled my eyes.

"If you stop resisting, I can help you get rid of the mind control! Then you can really tell me what's wrong." I paused, watching as the spirit took the words. "I mean, don't get me wrong, he is a travesty of many things, but a warrior was never one of them!" I finished and pulled the blade towards as my free hand was pulled back, above my head.

"Mind control!?" Senbonzakura roared out, his reiatsu briefly skyrocketing as he presumably made to dissipate once again. "What are you-" Whatever he'd been about to say disappeared as he realised his form wouldn't change, a startling yell echoing out of him as he was forcibly pulled in front of- Not wasting a beat, I promptly punched him downwards with the reiatsu covered fist and sent him rocketing back towards the ground.

He landed in the ground akin to a rocket as his form created a cavern in the middle of the Sixth squad barracks.

Flash stepping beside the form, I pointed my fist towards the rapidly moving form and echoed off the words suddenly imprinted into my head via Aizen-

"Bakudō #61. Rikujōkōrō." Several yellow square rods of light promptly stuck onto the form on the ground, restricting him from movement.

"Aizen!" A voice echoed from behind, prompting me to turn around as I watched a rather irritated Byakuya flash step beside me. "I didn't need your help-"

I blinked, watching as the other spectators, captains themselves at slowly filled the clearing. Yamamoto's form appearing the furthest away on top of an undamaged building, his walking stick in hand, a wary expression on his face.

"This was between me and my spirit-"

"Mind control." I corrected him.

"I am not under mind control..." The spirit on the ground echoed out faintly, causing me to turn back towards him, with a frown.

"That's exactly what-" Byakuya promptly cut me off as he appeared right in front of me, his expression for whatever reason struggling to remain angry at me. "...You're welcome?" I remarked, idly thinking he was having a hard time thanking me-

"Tch. I had it under control." Byakuya let out through grit teeth as he turned a look behind him towards the spirit in question.

Hitsugaya chose that moment to land in the clearing beside us, a wary expression on his face as walked towards us, the crowd of spectators growing, as more captains slowly joined in themselves.

"Well, if it's any consolation, it's far from over." I grinned towards the disgruntled captain, earning a pair of raised eyebrows from the man in question.

"He's been subdued-"

I rolled my eyes.

"Mind control-"

"It's not mind control!" Byakuya let out tersley. "It's..." He grit his teeth again, "-my own failings that are at fault."

Hitsugaya seemed to agree to judge by the sigh he let out. "The quarrel had been going on for a while by the time I'd joined. It was a personal fight," He remarked with clear disapproval.

I blinked in response.

"No... I am pretty sure it's mind control."

Byakuya twitched.

"Zanpakuto's don't usually manifest and fight their owners." I deadpanned. "When they're pissed, they just ignore you."

Hitsugaya blinked in response, a soft hum coming out as he turned a gaze towards the Zanpkauto in question. "It's certainly a first, but that doesn't-"

"Point of the matter is, this had nothing to do with-"

"A first?" I interrupted both of them bemusedly. "Well, you're right that petal swarm's the first one, but it's far from over. More spirits are going to start rebelling soon."

And before either of them could respond to that, Yamamoto elected to flash in himself, quickly causing the other captains to fall into a slight bow in surprise. Byakuya's own expression wilting in his presence.

"You're certain?" Yamamoto questioned, warily, his own hands locked around the walking stick.

I nodded.

"That's worrying."

"Commander, I..." Byakuya suddenly started speaking, humiliation marking his face as his gaze lowered the slightest. "It's my own fault that my spirit has elected to manifest... I... don't think any others are likely to join him. I doubt anyone else has the-"

"It's not their choice." I shrugged, interrupting the captain again. "It's Muramasa's."

Silence promptly fell over the small clearing as bemusement coloured the other captain's faces.

"Muramasa?" Yamamoto questioned warily. "Who?"

My own feelings, for whatever reason, turned unsettled in the sudden silence- And not because of the fact the others didn't seem to know. I slowly started gazing around the clearing, my senses pinging haphazardly as I looked around.

"Is it just me, or does the silence feel super eerie right now?"

"Aizen?" Yamamoto called out, his gaze rapidly shifting around as well. "Who is Muramasa?"

"Kuchiki Koga's spirit," I answered off-handily, as Byakuya's expression narrowed quickly.

"There's no such-"

Yet before he could finish, an ocean's worth of seething, angry reiatsu promptly covered the entire clearing as chains rapidly formed and descended from the sky-

The captains, including myself, quickly flash-stepped out of the area, as said chains quickly broke through the bindings surrounding Senbonzakura, the spirit himself promptly taking his chance to escape as he dissipated into petals and disappeared from sight.

Up ahead in the sky, a single, lone, very angry spirit stood on top of the air.

Yet without saying anything, barring the gaze, he locked with me, the purple loving Akatsuki wannabe promptly vanished into thin air.

Given the original story behind him, I imagine he's going to be much less pleased to find his master's history destroyed.

Hm? Whatchu talking about?

His existence in this timeline only came about because of your own. This Muramasa however certainly doesn't know that.

...Oh... Well. Shit on a stick, that's not going to be good at all- On second thought, I am just going to blame it on Tokinada.

That's... Actually not a terrible idea.

Best scapegoat ever!

Inde-

Anywho, you made me my statue yet?

Aizen?

"Told ya it was mind control." I turned my attention back to the others and deadpanned, watching as they rapidly turned towards me, bewildered, wary, and utterly confused expressions marring the three captain's faces. I let out a sigh and shook my head, an amused expression taking over. "I swear, there's a Kuchiki lawbreaker for every generation."
