Saiyan Legends
There are legends about Saiyans, there are many. This is a legend of 3 Saiyans, who are descendents of 3 legendary Saiyans who changed their way of life drastically. Those 3 Saiyans were Goku, Vegeta, and… well, the 3rd descendent is actually a Saiyan with a hint of human blood, and that human blood comes from none other than Bulma Briefs. But, there is still one legend that leads up to this one, the legend of the Saiyans today.
Many years had passed after Goku and Vegeta JR. fought in the Budikai Tenkaichi. Then, the babies were coming like crazy! Goku JR. had 5 kids, and Vegeta JR., oh kami… he had 15! Vegeta and Goku JR's kids got married and the Saiyan population grew even more, until it became the billions of Saiyans we have today, but it took 500 years for that to happen.
For some reason, the Saiyans today cannot turn Super Saiyan even when the Saiyan, who has a pure heart, becomes enraged. One theory is that there is not enough Saiyan blood in the Saiyans today for them to become Super Saiyans. Another is that the only Saiyans with "pure hearts," are female. There are many more, but the elders just want them to experience what their ancestors did, for that way the Legendary Warrior will walk among their people once more.
One of these theories is not true. You will find out why in this story. Actually, all of these theories are not true, and that the Elders were right. This story is a legend in its own right. All of the Saiyans in the Saiyan Academy were wrong. This story is about a high class Saiyan, who has his heart in the right place, a Royal Prince who is forced to attend a "low class prison," and a girl who is smarter than anyone, but does not know everything. These Saiyans had the blood of one of their 3 ancestors in their bloodstreams, and they needed to find out just who they were…
