Grissom woke up to the feel of soft skin and silky hair beneath his fingers. Breathing in deeply, he opened his ocean blue eyes to find the angelic face of a beautiful brunette lying beside him. One corner of his mouth turned upwards as he watched her emit a small, sleepy moan and snuggle closer to him.

"Hey, beautiful," He whispered, kissing the mall square of sunlight that graced her cheek. He watched her deep brown eyes flutter and open, settling on his own blue ones. He felt her bare legs tighten a little around his and he smiled, remembering what had happened last night when she did that.

"Mmm…" Sara moaned, her lips whispering against his shoulder. Grissom propped himself up on one arm, so that he was hovering over her. He leaned in and kissed her softly.

I love waking up to her… He thought as he felt her hands skating up his bare back. He pulled away for a second to watch her gorgeous face below his. They stared at each other lovingly for a moment, glad to be together.

"I think that Caprice guy caught on," She said after a minute. He pouted his lips as he always did when he was thinking.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure he did…" He answered. Sara ran a hand through his curly hair, tousled from sleep -- and maybe a little because of the many times she'd done that the night before…

"Maybe it's because you were stuck to me like a sea urchin!" She laughed. He squeezed her waist making her laugh even more.

"Maybe you're just irresistible," He growled, tickling her stomach with playful fingers.

"That tickles!" Sara exclaimed, squirming under him. He just chuckled and kept on tickling, his lips finding hers again.

They'd been together since Nick's accident, and after quite a few rocky times, they finally were ready to move on together. Hiding it from the others had been a little hard, but they'd pulled through.

They were interrupted by Grissom's cell phone shrilling loudly from his nightstand. He stopped tickling her and groaned. He rolled over to grab it, answering with a gruff, 'Grissom.'

Twenty minutes later, Grissom showed up at the Nevada Historical Recreational Centre a few minutes after Sara; a practiced ritual that apparently had the others fooled. She'd leave his (or her's, depending) and one would wait 5 minutes before leaving. So simple, yet it fooled all.

He smiled inwardly as he saw her standing in the morning sun, watching a mock battle. He came over to her and briefly touched his hand to her lower back. A gesture that only Grissom could pull off, showing how much he cared in such a small way. Together, they launched themselves into their work.

Later, around two, Grissom handed her a camera, smiling from under his straw hat.

He looks adorable in that hat, Sara thought as they paced ten steps from each other. Turning, she saw Grissom snap her picture first. She snapped his back, hoping to sneak doubles from the tech lab.

Grissom smiled at her, looking so cute in her baseball cap. Apparently, so did Greg, because hr was grinning at her like a drooling puppy dog. Disgusting.

That's okay, thought Grissom, he's doesn't know what she's wearing under that CSI vest…

He reminded himself of the clothes he'd helped her find from scattered all over his bedroom. And the clothes he helped her put on under that vest.

Or lack thereof…

And with a wink at Sara, he set off into the forest in search of a bullet.
