Renard grunted as he stepped out of his car. Damned Burkhardt just had to shoot him in the foot out of all places.

He's felt many pains before so it wasn't agony he was feeling but more of annoyance at the inconvenience of it all. Not to mention his stress was already building second by second.

Just last night he went from trying to catch Burkhardt so his alliance or "agreement" with the Royals or mainly Viktor would still be intact. Now he was helping Nick on his little hero mission. He wasn't sure of Burkhardt's stance in it all but he did let him live. Even though he shot him, he didn't kill him so theirs that.

He huffed in annoyance at stepping down too hard and it caused a sore feeling in his foot to ache. That was getting old fast. He refused to limp though. What would he look like if he limped around? Especially here in Vienna.

Also the fact Damerov wasn't exactly the best at sewing up wounds. But Renard needed a quick fix and to speak to him privately. Much like Sebastian, he wasn't too pleased when Sean dropped a major revelation and request on him.

"What?!" Damerov hissed in disbelief, he even Woge to his Skalenzahne face at what Sean just said. Renard Woge to his half form to show he wasn't backing down from him on this one. Damerov stood to his feet but calmed down as Renard shifted back to his normal face but uncomfortably as his foot finally stopped bleeding.

"Viktor has to die." Renard said again with a pointed look.

Damerov took a moment to finish collecting himself. "No he does not. You just wish to save your child."

"I do. But we would benefit greatly from his death. Either that or unless you have a way of getting to my father." Renard said and Damerov almost panicked again.

"Would you not say these things out loud." He looked around. "Never know what ears may be around." He peeked out the window for a moment. Little did they know that just outside of Damerov's window. Through the trees of his backyard. There was a pair of ears listening. A woman, listening in to the whole conversation.

"How would this benefit us in any way? How is this not going to be more loss than gain? He stared down at Renard who took his now wrapped-up foot off of the table. Wincing at the bullet and the blood in the pan on the table.

"If Viktor is no longer there. It would mean many things to our advantage. My father will have not only lost another member of the family but also will take the microscope off of me after the initial damage." Renard took a look at the blood on his foot and then back to him. "Besides after the meeting I just had with him...he's on edge, desperate, and likely to make a mistake. A mistake we will be there to capitalize on.

Damerov had a look of intrigue. "Is there a plan you have in the works behind the scenes?" He asked with a sly smirk.

Renard returned the facial expression. "Guess that's for the future to see isn't it?" He said rhetorically. Damerov scoffed.

"What would you like for me to do?"

"Find Burkhardt. If you think you can before morning."

Damerov gave him a straight look. "Oh, I'll find him."

The rest of their conversation pretty much concluded but the woman heard all she needed to hear. "It appears you were right." She said to herself as she stepped from around the tree to look on at them through the window. Her voice was raspy and wicked.

Now here Renard was being called in once again by Viktor after their meeting last night right before his session with Damerov. He stepped into the castle now, which was a little quieter now for obvious reasons.

Hopefully, this goes better than last night's meeting with Viktor.

Viktor watched as Sean walked in favoring his left side over the right.

"What the hell?" Viktor questioned. He didn't sound wounded on the phone earlier. Renard stumbled slightly into his office but still tried to remain walking relatively normally. "What happened?"

Renard huffed. "Almost sound worried."

Viktor placed his usual glass he was holding down. "Well Of course I am...You know how long it takes to get blood out of that carpet." As he said it Renard chided himself for slightly falling for that.

"The Grimm shot me." He said simply.

"You sounded quite fine on the phone." Viktor had growing skepticism.

"I was. He came back soon after I hung up on you. Speaking of where is my phone?" Renard was trying to change the subject, he was prepared to lie but he didn't want to bury himself in a bunch. Would start misplacing details.

"You'll get it." He answered the phone question but clearly, that wasn't on his mind. "Why wouldn't he just kill you?" Viktor's suspicion began to rise. He would be even more suspicious had he come in unscathed but something felt off.

"I asked but he wouldn't say and I was going to keep pushing it."

Viktor's face of suspicion didn't shift at all, it may have intensified if anything. "Why would you have a conversation with a man trying to kill you and why would he entertain it?"

Renard gave an amused look as he shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know, I was too busy trying not to get shot again. I don't what his plans are but maybe it should let us know to be wary."

"Wary? I fear no man." Viktor said coldly.

Renard let the tension of the room settle for a moment. "Well, that isn't just a man. That's a Grimm. I'm not about to keep pushing my luck when you haven't shown me much faith you can get things done." Renard knew he was going really piss him off with that one but it help lessen his suspicion if it was replaced with ire.

Viktor's eyes had an incensed glare in them. His teeth gritted. His cheek began to twitch and he looked almost like he would start foaming from the mouth. All of a sudden he snatched up the glass he usually drinks from and slung it against the wall behind him. He pushed over the chair closest to him and grabbed a hold of a flower pot and slammed it into the fireplace as hard as he could.

He yelled out in rage to the skies as if they would listen to him. His breathing was hard and he looked like a madman. "I won't be embarrassed by that blonde bitch and that Grimm...and..." His voice was so menacing and dark it cracked. "And be disrespected by a half-royal bastard inside of my home. My Castle!" Sean wasn't disturbed by his actions even though they were out of character for someone as laidback as Viktor usually was but he did tense at how dangerous he sounded right now.

He sounded like a man on the brink of snapping.

"Do you know what will happen if I don't have at least that Royal child within my grasp?" He said coldly and rhetorically. Taking steps toward Sean and Renard's self-cautiousness began flaring really bad with each step. "The King will arrive and see I have failed him and be made to look like a liar."

His steps were small, cold, and calculating as he got closer. Renard followed him with his eyes, trying not to budge from his position physically. But mentally he was on edge. "I will not be the laughing stock of this family, subjected to ridicule and made a mockery of the Konigsburg name that I so graciously wear proudly." He was in front of his face now and Renard was still just a little taller than him so his eyes looked down at Viktor's crazed ones.

Viktor looked him directly in his pupils to show him he wasn't playing either. "I will rip Vienna apart. I will rip apart whoever stands in my way. I don't care...who...That Grimm, I will break him. One way, or the other." He took a step forward with his left so it would be on Renard's injured right one. Placing it down and pressing down harder and harder.

Renard winced but wasn't trying to show too much pain. "And anyone who helps him, in any damn way." He pressed his foot down fully now and Renard had to fight off his Woge. Viktor was going to die but not here and not now. Wouldn't be smart. "I will see that their insides become their outsides and their insides become the out. Just to make it as bloody, as painful, as fucking possible." He stepped off of Renard's foot abruptly after pressing it down one more time and Sean couldn't help the breath of pain-filled relief that escaped him.

"Get out." Viktor said in that same dark tone. Renard felt like he watched bags grow under his eyes. He turned slightly to begin leaving but never turned around completely as he stepped back slowly even with his limp and exited the room.

Viktor watched as he left and all of a sudden the door that led to another room in his office opened and a woman stepped into the room now. Viktor still watched where Renard stepped out of the room. His breathing was very intense but calmer.

She stepped beside him. "It appears that I chose the right moment to bring my presence." She said with that usual raspy voice. Wearing a red dress that looked fitting for a witch along with a hood on her head from the thin, silk robe she wore.

"I don't trust that bastard." He said coldly, still not even moving a muscle. "Follow him."

"As you wish."

Now here once again Renard found himself entering Viktor's quarters. Hopefully, this wasn't as hostile and threatening as last night's. He knows he told himself that already but couldn't hurt to repeat it right?

Viktor was watching the fire as he walked in. Sitting in a chair that was overly too big to just be a sitting chair but Royals' egos were like no other. Renard would know, he thought it was a pretty damn good chair.

Renard's nose cringed a little though. Honestly felt like he smelled a heavy scent of metal for some reason. But not exactly metal, he knows the smell all too well though. He couldn't place it right now though. Or he could if his mind wasn't more focused on other things.

"Viktor" He called out to him and he had a feeling this room was about to be tension-filled quite soon once again.

Viktor downed the rest of the alcohol that was in his glass and threw it into the fire and the glass broke. He stood and turned around and Renard could see his suit stained with splattered blood marks and his face had a little as well. It wasn't his though. No part of him looked like it was bleeding. His fist looked bruised though but from hitting something...or someone.

That's the smell though. Blood...

"I found the Grimm, Adalind, and the child." He said simply. Renard's brows furrowed.

"How?" He questioned.

"I had a source. He told me how one of my town cars was spotted at a store a few blocks from the hotel the Grimm laid waste to most of my Verrat." Renard was wondering if whoever Viktor's source was found them, maybe Damerov did too so he could beat them there.

"There was only one notable place around there. A dead woman whose name was Frau Pech. An old friend of Miss Schade's. Her house. Not all the way sure yet but a call should inform me of its factuality or not soon." Renard nodded his head.

"I'll go there then." He said and he began to turn.

"No..." Renard stopped in his tracks. "No, you won't be going anywhere." He turned back to face Viktor. His face was expressionless and not his usual type of face like that. A dangerous vibe was coming from him right now.

"I want to show you something." He said and Renard's warning feeling in his chest increased. This was not going to be good. Renard's brows furrowed even more but his intrigue grew.

He began walking past him and he followed him.

"I want to show you how I obtained this information on the Grimm." He said as they walked through the corridors and headed down.

As they were approaching wherever Viktor was walking him, a phone ranged and Viktor pulled it out of his pocket. It must have been whoever Viktor was waiting on the confirmation from. "I'll send everyone." He didn't speak again so that must have meant she was talking.

"No you don't proceed further until my people arrive is that clear?"

She watched the house still from behind a tree. "Very well." She hung up the phone and looked on. "Why shouldn't I get a closer look." Her raspy voice said out loud more to herself. The windows were completely closed so that's how she knew they were in there.

She looked down at her one source of protection. A long blade or a dagger some would call it. A golden handle with a blade that was made of silver and had this odd-looking black, substance covered all over it. She smirked deviously to herself as she put it back into wherever it fits in her robe and dress. She knows Frau Pech's house more than anyone besides the dead witch herself so she knew of many silent ways in.

"Sorry Viktor, you'll have to join the fun later." She mocked to herself as she began carefully walking to enter the house. Looks like she'll be killing a Grimm and a Hexenbiest today. Her once chance to have the Royal child in her hands like she was supposed to do in the first place.

Now Viktor took Renard to the torture room. Renard was glad to have his gun on him because something was telling him that this wasn't about to end well for himself at all.

"In there" Viktor nodded his head forward and Renard could tell this wasn't a choice thing. He walked in and saw somebody in there. The place reeked of blood and agony if that was somehow a smell. He heard drip drops and he honestly wasn't sure if that was water or blood again. May have been both.

He walked in and saw Damerov on the floor. He was shaking as if he was suppressing weeps. His back was covered in lashing wounds. He no longer had any fingernails or toenails. His fingers looked like a dog gnawed on them and ripped them off. His face was leaking blood.

Lip was busted along with his nose and a laceration on his forehead. He only had on pants and his chest was purple. Did he only have half an ear as well? Renard's face cringed and he winced at the sight. He almost looked away.

He was covered in water too and it was freezing down here. His eyes were almost swollen shut.

All of a sudden, shaking and trembling Damerov looked up at him from the fetal position he was in. "I'm..." he coughed out blood and sounded like he choked on his own throat. "I'm...sorry...Sean." He manage to say and Sean realized that what he feared happened. Had happened. Viktor knew. Everything.

Renard quickly pulled out his gun and shot Damerov to put him out of his misery then turned towards Viktor who had four men around him with guns aimed. "Now now...why would you do that? I was just getting started with him. Four against one is hardly favorable odds Sean. Drop it." His face lost the smugness. "Now."

Renard knew once again he'll have to play the long game and in a way. His plans still could go off how he wanted them to. Just not exactly the same way. He lowered his gun. and dropped it on the floor.

Viktor let out a breath. "You three, get ready to leave and tell the others. You, you stay with me." He looked back at Renard. "Now I heard you wanted to kill me..."

Adalind has been walking around with Diana for a little while now. Enjoying the motherly feel of having to walk and rock with her back n forth just to soothe her to sleep so she wouldn't cry.

She watched as Nick was asleep on the couch now since it was his turn. She overslept by a lot.

Of course, he said he wanted first watch to watch them through the night and he did exactly that. His chivalry side to him, amazed her every time he did something of the nature.

He wasn't your stereotypical "Knight in shining armor" but he rather himself be in danger than anybody he is with. She can't believe that she is now on his protection list but she wasn't going to complain. She was however upset about how much he is putting himself through for her while she can't escape the feeling of not having done much.

It was nice to be rescued like a damsel in distress but not always be in distress. She had a high sense of pride and it wasn't fair to keep putting him in these positions to feel like he had to.

But damn he made her feel good. No one ever has gone up and beyond for her like this. It was so attractive.

She knew she needed to calm down on thoughts like that though. He still had his whatever relationship with Juliette and he probably doesn't and would never ever see her that way.

She doesn't even know why she is imagining what being with him would be like. No shot at all for her.

Now why that bummed her out so much, she won't even go there. Even though there are just some things she would have to start accepting about her feelings. She stopped walking for a moment to think about it.

Eh, not today though.

She wished she didn't sleep so much though. She expected a few hours and she be good to go but all of a sudden she woke up and it was completely light outside. The snow wasn't falling for now either.

She slept for almost 10hrs.

Maybe because it was the first time she felt safe even though they weren't safe at all. Maybe it was because of the company she had with her. A superpowered daughter and a wounded but still lethal Grimm on her side along with herself would make a lot of people feel safe though.

She wish she could make more of the pain suppressant for him but there was only enough for one batch so he would wake up feeling those pains again. Hopefully not to the same extent though.

Adalind kept walking around the house still as Diana began to drift away to sleep. She looked down at her face and smiled kindly. She was so cute when she fell asleep.

On her way back to walking softly to the living room. She looked at Nick asleep on the couch. Speaking of being cute.

Adalind just loved how good his jawline looked even when he was relaxed. He looked like he was peaceful too which probably was rare considering his life. She loved how steadily his chest moved just because he was breathing. Part of her wanted to go kiss his cheek for some odd reason.

But she managed to not do that idea.

She looked back at Diana as she began walking around the house again. "What do you think Grimms dream about?" She asked playfully.

Nick felt the glow from the window even though it was closed, shine on him. He kept his eyes closed just because it felt nice for some reason, a smile he felt on his face.

It was weird, he knew what was happening. But his mind felt free. Like it was away from the world.

He felt this warmth on his abs though and between his legs. A soft weight as well that felt wonderful. He let his eyes slowly peek open and there was that angelic-like light again beaming everywhere.

Nick felt his chest warm up even more then he peeked down at the weight that was on him. There lay a beautiful set of blonde hair. Along with a lovely scent of Vanilla and lavender surrounding him.

It was like Adalind's usual scent that she always had even still to this day despite the past weeks for her. He remembered the couch smelled like it when he layed down after she woke up.

Back at Monroe and Rosalee's the fact the couch had her scent was why he didn't sleep on it. But this time he was intoxicated by it. He enjoyed and welcomed it.

Which means that lovely set of blonde hair must have been her. He was a little upset that this almost meant this must have been a dream because the last time it looked like this, he was getting choked to death. Also because he remembers he went to sleep with his crappy clothes on and right now he only had on pants and was shirtless.

Not even his bandages were on.

She was asleep on his abdomen. Her hands were under her cheek in a clapping form. He could see a soft smile on her face as she snoozed peacefully. He couldn't help his hand moving down to softly move some of her hair off of her face.

She looked like an angel.

Adalind made this adorable stirring sound and she awakened. He was still gently playing with the hair he moved. The air from her nose tickled his skin beautifully as she giggled a little.

"Good morning" she said sweetly.

"Morning" He said with a smile.

"How'd you sleep?" She still hadn't opened her eyes or moved positions at all yet.

He still was playing with her hair a little. Twisting it around his finger. "Well, I didn't expect to wake up with a pretty blonde laying on top of me."

She looked up for the first time and her eyes never seemed more beautiful. The way the light was glowing on them and she had those big, blue soft eyes. Gazing up at him as she had her chin resting on her arm as it sat up on his abdomen still as she looked up at him.

"You think I'm pretty?" She asked playfully, giving a pretend baby-eyed look.

He meant what he said next though. Still moving the hair out of her face with his hand softly. "I don't think pretty is even close enough to describe you." She bit her lip a little into an almost shy smile.

"Why don't you show me then." She said sweetly but still so seductively. She sat her elbow up softly on his upper thigh so it wouldn't hurt and she rested her head on her hand. Drawing random patterns with her right index finger on his lower abdomen. It was very teasingly close to his pants button but on his skin.

It made his skin tingle in the most amazing way.

"Depends."

Her face shot up this beautiful look of intrigue with the most wonderful smile. "On?"

"Do Hexenbiest have morning breath?" He laughed a little than a little harder when she did.

"I don't know. Do Grimms?" She still had this big smile on her face and she sucked on her bottom lip for a moment.

"Only one way to find out." He said softly.

She stopped rubbing patterns on his abs and placed her lips softly on him. He loved how she did it. She would go from side to side up his body. Sometimes soft, chaste kisses that left him desiring more. Then sometimes kisses that lingered, the kissing sound was music to his ears.

He let out a breath of delight. Her scent took over his nose more as she was moving up his body. Her weight felt so perfect the more her warmth climbed up him. She reached the middle of his chest now and his eyes were closed the whole time he didn't even know just by how beautiful it felt.

"Where's Diana?" He asked through this soft breath. Almost a moan.

She reached his neck now. "In the spare bedroom..." She placed her hand on his jaw so she could hold his face softly and she placed this huge, soft but wet kiss on his neck that was so unexpectant he made a noise that time. He could feel her huff in delight.

She now was tracing kisses across his jawline, quick chaste ones. "She's asleep." She finished saying kindly.

She now was sitting completely on his laying down lap, leaning down as she let her lips trace over his. Teasing herself and him at the same time. She heard his breath hitch but he spoke. "The answer to your question is yes." He said thickly.

"What" It was a sultry whisper. Her lips still teasing like they are going to kiss his.

"Hexenbiest do have morning breath" He said and she laughed hard but quietly. "So do Grimms" She said as she rubbed his cheek with her thumb. Kissing it now.

He laughed himself now but she caused his eyes to close once again. "I guess I should keep doing this then" She said as she kissed down the right side of his cheek close to his ear. On purposely letting her ass graze against his lap. His hands were rubbing up the back of her thighs until he had a hold of it. She moaned into his ear with how much she liked his grip on it.

Oh god. That was all that popped into his head when he heard that. She leaned down by his ear now to whisper. "I may not care though." She whispered so sexily into his ear. Referring to them kissing.

"Really?" His voice came out thickly again and she adored it. He abruptly grabbed a stronger hold of her ass and lifted himself along with her so she was sitting up on his lap and he was seated up as well.

She bit her lip from the abrupt change and that she could feel how turned on he really was. She was glad, she was probably soaking right now. They watched each other eyes for a moment. "I'm pretty sure this is a dream." He said a little disappointedly.

"I wish it wasn't either." She said to him with a shared disappointment but a sweet smile. She had her arms around his neck.

"is that you saying that or my mind having you say that?" He questioned with a smile still on his face.

"Me."

"Oh, you're hilarious." He laughed but tried to say it unamused and she did as well. He put his hands on the hems of her shirt and began lifting it over her head as she held her arms up.

Revealing her chest and my goodness it was a gorgeous sight to behold. Now it was his turn to cover her in his lips. Kissing her jawline this time and then placing big wet kisses on her neck and she wrapped her arms around him to pull him in closer as her eyes closed from pleasure and her mouth parted open.

The softest moans escaped as she loved how his hands were rubbing up and down her back. Warm and strong. The more he kissed her neck, the more she felt her body go weak, the way his beard scratched at her skin was heavenly. Like it was satisfying an itch that wasn't there.

She spoke through her breaths. "Dream or not..." She pulled away a little to look him in the eyes. "This is amazing." He didn't say anything but his eyes looked down at her lips.

The lust she could see in his eyes growing heavy. She felt hers screaming through her whole body as they both leaned in. "Interlocking will happen this time." She joked and he laughed a little.

"Think it'll be some penetrating too." He said back and she playfully hit his shoulder as she giggled even harder and kept leaning in. She laughed a little more. "You are not wrong." As their lips were about to interlock a scream came.

"Nick!" He heard a fearsome bellow. He stopped leaning in.

"Adalind" He recognized the voice.

His eyes shot open and as soon as he did he saw a woman in this red, flowery dress standing over him. Driving a dagger down to stab him fresh out of his sleep.

AN: Hadn't been able to get my hands on a computer all week until today! Happy late Thanksgiving everybody!

Thank you for all of the reviews! I know this was kind of a short one. The next few are most likely going to be long-long hehe.
