She's run out of tears. She cried, but she's never been able to cry for long, not even when mum left. Not even when that idiot tried to force her to go further almost daily and then nearly hit her when she refused.
She doesn't know why he affects her more than anyone else has. Maybe it's the smile she won't be able to see anymore, or his crazy hair, so wild and untamed unlike the sleazes of their school that seem to drown themselves in gel and wax.
Maybe it's the fact she feels responsible in some way, or that she really feels that she wasn't some joke to him… that what he'd protested with in the end 'I didn't care about the money okay? I cared…I cared about you!' could possibly be the truth…even if it hadn't started that way…
But no. All males were the same and they were all only after one thing. In this case he got money along the side until he got something else in return, and amongst all this Bianca had almost fallen in with that asswipe Joey…if she had, Kat didn't know what she would have done.
Thankfully though, Bianca had found Cameron, so all was right in the little world of the precious princess once again…
Kat sighed. She didn't mean that. Bianca had even invited her along to go sailing with them both, so she couldn't complain…
Kat looked out over the garden from where she sat on the balcony railing. Maybe he hadn't lied…Maybe she could give him one more chance… a flailing one…and if he cares enough, he'll realise what it is and come back to her…
After apologising first, of course.

The challenge here was for Septych, which is where I must create a piece for a set of seven somethings. This round was Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. Here, as you can see, this piece is all about Blue. :) The next piece, Indigo, shall be about a manga series titled Fruits Basket. I hope you enjoy :)
