When he had witnessed Tohru receiving that ribbon from that stupid rat, he had felt fire in his belly.
One day, when he was worthwhile, he would give her a present, a nicer one as well! And not for any stupid excuse, like in exchange for her chocolate. He'd simply give it to her because…he wanted to. No other reason. Simply because he wanted to give her a present for no reason at all, and see her eyes light up and her cheeks redden, and then use his gift every day, and on special occasions!
Yeah, that's what he'd do. And he'd wait for the right moment to give it to her as well, with no one else around, unlike how Yuki had done it.
It had taken him over an hour to eventually decide on which he would choose for her. Eventually his decision fell on a velvety indigo coloured one, fringed with black lace. The colours reminded him of her psychic friend…what was her name again? Hana? Yeah, her. Kyou hoped she would wear it even more so since it could remind her of the friends she had. But not of that damn Yankee, how could you get a Yankee styled ribbon anyway?
The ribbon was wrapped in pink paper, a colour she seemed to like so much, and Kyou waited until one of those nights when they met up on the roof whilst everyone else was asleep and there was silence all around them.
Kyou sighed and gazed down at the small package in his hands, lost in his thoughts so much he didn't even hear her appear by his side.
"Oh Kyou…you're up here! I'm sorry…I'll just-"
"No, wait!" he caught her arm. "…you can stay." His fingers tightened around the soft paper. "…I have something for ya…"

The challenge here was for Septych, which is where I must create a piece for a set of seven somethings. This round was Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. Here, as you can see, this piece is all about Indigo. :) The next piece, Violet, shall be about a TV series called Firefly, and shall be Jayne/River. I hope you enjoy :)
