Chapter 2, I guess.

Didn't take as long as I expected to make my decision to continue, so I guess that's a good thing.

Looks like I'll be writing a fight scene though, so this'll be a test.

And also, just so you know, I'm going to try my hardest to not kill any of the main Touhou cast, but normal youkai, humans, etc. will be killed without a second thought.

I'll talk more at the end.

[The Void]

25 minutes before Six meets Rumia

? POV

"WAIT, WAIT! PLEASE SPA-"

*CRUNCH*

"Fuckin' idiot..."

I closed the gap, deciding that I had seen enough.

Gensokyo's newest visitor seems to have everything under control. It would have been a shame if he was killed by such a weak youkai.

"Yukari..." I looked to my right and saw my shikigami with a worried look on her face.

"Yes, Ran?"

"Is this really such a good idea? I mean, I'm sure you know what you're doing, but I've seen what he does to people he doesn't like, and it's not very pretty."

"Of course, Ran. I myself have seen what he's capable of, and I think we'll be fine as long as nobody makes him seriously angry."

"With all due respect, Yukari, there are a lot of people in Gensokyo who aren't the friendliest."

I laughed. "Of course I know that, Ran, but when I say angry, I mean angry."

"How angry?"

"Shot-in-the-head-and-buried-in-a-shallow-grave angry."

"I see..." She looked down in thought.

I looked away and decided to lay down on the couch I was sitting on and take a nap. It has been a tiring day, after all.

[Forest of Magic]

Courier Six POV

"What the hell did you just say!?" I could swear she just asked to eat me.

"I asked if I can eat you."

"What the fuck..." I whispered.

"Well, what is it?"

"Uh... How about a fuck no?" I began backing away from her.

"Well, too bad!" She began floating upwards.

"Oh fucking... Help me Graham..."

I was suddenly engulfed I darkness. I immediately tried switching on my helmet's night vision, but only the right lens activated due to the other one being broken.

As if on cue, I could see a bunch of oddly colored orbs flying in my general direction. I didn't know what they were or what they do, but I wasn't just gonna stand still and find out.

I heard giggling around me. Lots of giggling. I used my {Perception} related implants to try and pinpoint its source. I eventually spotted the little devil flying in circles and spewing out those colored orbs.

While trying to think of a way to reach her, a few of the orbs grazed my arms and legs, and it fucking hurt. I could describe it as the feeling of when Cook-Cook set me ablaze after nailing my hand to a wall, but centralized to a small area.

I made Cook-Cook regret his very existence, and I'm going to do the same to this fucking brat.

"Wow, you're pretty sturdy mister! Most outsiders can only take one or two danmaku before they start bawling on the floor!"

That's the perk of being a {Stonewall}.

While she was busy talking shit, I had an idea.

The little brat was getting awfully close to the trees. And I just so happen to be a pretty good climber.

Once I got an opening from the newly named "danmaku", I rushed towards the tree closest to her and used my muscular implants to climb it faster than a squirrel on fire.

"Huh- Ahh!?" I jumped off the last branch and grabbed on to her, bringing us both to the ground.

She tried to pry my hands off of her, but I didn't budge. She was surprisingly strong, though. I proceeded to make sure that she landed first to break my fall.

*THUD*

We hit the ground, and she was surprisingly still conscious.

"Owie... That hurt, mister!"

She wiggled out of my grasp while I was getting my bearings and tried to fly away.

"Oh no you fuckin' don't." I grabbed her ankle.

"Wuh- Hey!"

I proceeded to swing her around and slam her into a tree, breaking it in half. When I saw she was still moving, I then slammed her into the ground repeatedly until I lost grip on her ankle and threw her away.

She was still for a second before rolling onto her back, and I could see blood, dirt, and splinters covering her body.

I brought That Gun out of my storage and walked over to her.

"Ow, owie, ow, ow..." She was rubbing her face.

I pressed my boot onto her chest and put the barrel of That Gun to her head.

"Huh- Oh! Waitwaitwait! Mister, please, I lost! I'll let you go, so just don't hurt me anymore!"

"Shouldn't have fucked with me, kid."

"Wait! Mister PLEASE!" She had tears in her eyes at this point.

I placed my finger on the trigger...

No.

I know what I am. I know what I've done. I know the pain that I've put people through. And I can accept that.

But the one thing I can never fully come to terms with is the murder of children.

I've fought and killed countless child soldiers used by The Legion, yet I never could quite get over it.

This girl wasn't from the wasteland, and I'm pretty sure she isn't even human.

Besides, I'll need someone to explain to me where the hell I am.

I pulled That Gun away from her head and put it in storage.

"I'm gonna need you to answer a few questions for me."

"Uh-uh..." She wiped her tears away "... Sure!" Her cheery attitude was back.

I stepped off of her and allowed her to get up.

"Well, the first thing I want to know is-"

"Upupupup!" She put a finger to my "mouth", or where it's supposed to be on my mask.

"It's rude to start talking to someone without introducing yourself first!"

"You attacked me withou-" She put her finger there again.

"Nope! Now, my name is Rumia, and I'm a youkai! Who are you?"

"The hell is a youka-" She once again put a finger to my mouth.

"Stop stalling and introduce yourself already!"

"Fine, fine. I'm Courier Six, and you can just call me Six." I decided I'll ask about everything once we get there.

"Courier Six? That's not a name, that's a job!" She looked annoyed at me.

"I know, but I can't remember my actual name, so that's all I am now."

"Why can't you remember your name?" She seemed to completely forget about her prior annoyance.

"That part of my brain got blown out of the back of my head a while back."

She stopped smiling for a moment. "Does that mean that someone shot you in the head?"

"Twice. He shot me twice." I clenched my fists, but let them relax quickly after. Benny was rotting in a pit of radiation. He got what he deserved. He couldn't hurt anyone anymore.

"How are you alive then?" She put her hand on her chin and seemed to be thinking.

"Hell if I know, but I crawled out of that shallow grave they tossed me into and made them regret ever entering the Mojave."

"You must be pretty strong, mister. When you were slamming me onto the ground, I thought that I might die!" She seemed a little too happy for what she's describing.

"We're getting a little off track, kid. Can you answer my questions now?"

"Sure! What do you wanna know?"

I thought for a moment, and then decided that location was the most important thing here.

"Where am I?"

"Ah, well, this is Gensokyo! It's in somewhere called "Japan", and we're surrounded by a barrier that keeps the outside world from finding us!"

"Wait a fuckin' minute, I'm in Japan? What about the war? What about China? What about the fucking nukes?" I was starting to sweat a little.

"Mister, what are you talking about? What war? What's China? What's a nuke?"

I put my hand on my forehead and started panicking.

"Ok, kid, I need you to listen to me, and I need you to listen very carefully."

"Ok-ok" She nodded her head up and down very fast.

"Has anyone been to this 'outside world' in the past 200 years?"

"Well of course they have! We get outsiders coming in all the time talking about their 'cities' and 'cars' and stuff. From what I've heard, the outside is pretty cool!"

"Oh my fucking god..." I leaned back and put my head in my hands.

"Are you okay mister?" Rumia walked up to me and walked circles around me while looking me over.

"I'minadifferentworldI'minadifferentworldI'minadifferentworldohfuckingshitI'minadifferentworld" I was beginning to panic more than I thought possible.

I slowly looked up at Rumia as she walked in front of me. "Kid, what year is it? On the outside, I mean."

"Oh, well, last I heard, it was 2019, whatever that means."

"Oh fuck... Oh fuck... Oh fuck..."

I looked over at my Pip-boy and switched to the "World Map" function.

:ERROR: :ERROR: :NO ROBCO SATELLITE CONNECTION DETECTED!: :ERROR: :ERROR:

Well, that confirms it. Robco has satellites all around the globe. There's no place on Earth that they don't have eyes over.

I slowly stood up again.

"Are you okay now, mister?" Rumia looked up at me with a worried face.

"Yeah... Yeah, sure, kid." I was hyperventilating, which was making it hard to speak.

"Well, what's your next question?"

"Alright, alright... What the hell is a 'youkai'?" I calmed myself down.

"Oh, that's easy! Have you ever heard of a mythical sounding being, like a werewolf or a vampire?"

"Oh yeah, sure, I have a few comics about monsters like that."

"Well, a youkai is basically just that! A supernatural or mythical being! And Gensokyo is filled to the brim with them."

I suddenly realized what this meant.

The wolf-man-man-wolf I killed earlier.

He was a youkai.

"Hm... Interesting. I'll have to look into what this means later."

"That's fine with me!"

"Alright, last question. What where those weird burning orbs you shot at me?"

"Oh! Oh! That was danmaku!"

"Danmaku?"

"Danmaku! It's our way of fighting and settling scores in Gensokyo!"

"Why not just, y'know... Shoot each other?"

"Because danmaku doesn't kill people! You can hurt someone a whole bunch, and they'll be bleeding all over, but they won't die because of the Spell Card system!"

"I'm not even gonna ask... Well, that's the last question I have."

"Okay, mister! Say, you should head to the Human Village! That's where most outsiders go on their first day."

"Yeah... Ok, where is it?" As she spoke, I turned on the second function of my World Map, so that it would update itself as I travel.

She pointed down the path I was originally walking. "Right down that way! You'll also find the Hakurei Shrine on your right after a while. That's where the lady who keeps the Hakurei Barrier up lives!"

"Huh, maybe I'll pay a visit on my way there. Thanks a lot kid, but just remember that I'm still pissed about you attacking me."

"I understand. I'm sorry mister!" She bowed at a 90-degree angle.

"Hm. Well, I'll be off then. Learn to pick your fights, kid."

"Understood, mister!" She rose her head. "Goodbye!" She raised her arms to her sides and began to fly off.

I nodded, and began walking down the direction she pointed.

Things are about to get real interesting, and real dangerous.

But I've never been one to back down from a challenge.

Hey there guys, Author here.

So, this chapter was mostly just a quick Rumia fight and Six learning about what's happened to him.

Next, we're either gonna go to the shrine and meet Reimu, or we'll end up at the Human Village and maybe meet its many residents.

This has turned out to be really fun for me, so I'll definitely be continuing.

Also, if you happen to have any ideas of perks from F:NV or the "More Perks" mod that can be used in certain situations with certain characters, please tell me. I have a pretty bad memory and don't want to go scrolling through a huge wiki page just for a single scene.

I'll also be making edits to the last chapter & this one to fix any consistency issues or grammar mistakes, so also tell me if you find any of those.

Well, that's all I have to say.

Adios, and see you next chapter.
